This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites yet. I enjoy being pulled into her stories by her attention to details and writing style. Her characters are connectable and bring the story to life. This book is no different. The characters are creative and unique. They are strong and made the story entertaining for me. This is a faster paced story that is engaging to the end. This is a story about a woman who has a past and a present that is in jeopardy of destroying her. A story written with a lot of heart and you can feel that in each character. She is in search of love and hope but you never know where she might find it. This is a really great story that I loved. I highly recommend this book and this author.

The story is the first in the series, Titans of Manhattan. The first titan we learn about is Caspian Archer, millionaire, running Archer Enterprises, a company started and owned by his uncle. Caspian is a workaholic, so his dying uncle has a plan to change that around. Caspian must get married and partake in that agreement for at least 1 year and a day in order to keep his position at Archer Enterprises. To say the least, he is not happy about this and feels his life is good the way it is. Little did he know, all that was about to change when he ran into an old friend from his childhood, a childhood he has tried to desperately forget. You watch this arrangement between two people bloom into a great friendship and love story, with some bumps along the way! I always love a book where you are getting each character’s thought process on the pages and not guessing what they are feeling. I really enjoyed the relationship between Caspian and Paisley. The relationship was honest, brutal at times, full of devotion, and had many sexy encounters. I look forward to the other titan’s story!

This was a pretty good children’s holiday book. The book provides a great way of answering the question that all kids ask “Is there really a Santa?”. This is probably a question that all parents dread one day, feeling once they ask the magic of Christmas may be lost. However, the book answers the question in a magical way by explaining the spirit of Christmas and the idea of Santa, rather than just saying nope no Santa. In the book, the young child took that message and kept the dream alive for all the believers out there. While I did think there could have been more said or pondered about by the kid who acquired this new found information, I believed that it provided a great message of how to give kids the truth they are seeking, without causing “loss”.

Though my kiddos are still too young for this book I’m really happy I read it as it gave me some insight and ideas in how to approach this question when they will inevitably ask, Is There a Santa Claus?
I love how the author kept the magic of Christmas going and I hope to do the same when the time comes. This is a book I would recommend to all parents of little ones!

This is not my first audible by this author but it is one of my favorites yet. This is part of the Satan’s Devils MC series which just keeps getting better and better. I enjoyed the narrator’s voice and how she made the story engaging with each word said. They brought the story to life with different tones and were enjoyable to listen to. This is a story about Drummer and Sam. He can have any girl he wants. He meets Sam and now he has a problem, he can’t have her because of who she is. They are both instantly attracted to each other but their relationship is a no, no. Will they go against rules and find their happy ever after? This was such a great story to listen to on my way to work. I highly recommend this audible and find out what happens between these two.

Broken Chains has just become one of my top favorite dark romance books. This author does a great job making the story come to life. This mafia romance is not for anyone who is not used to Smutty violent books. Liz Finley is such a relatable character that the author did amazing on. Usually I cring half way through a mafia story like this one but Karina Kantas does a great job not making the main character too whiny or conceited like you see most female characters in this type of genre.
Honestly, I have never read a MM romance book because I was afraid I wouldn’t like it. Oh man was I wrong! This author was able to pack so much detail, emotions, and a unique world in only 57 pages! I’m still stunned on how amazing this book was. I could feel every emotion the author was portraying so easily. When the two main characters, Acheron and Errapel, meet, the reader can actually feel their mate bond. The two connected so smoothly. The only thing I would change is to have more pages to read! I loved this book. Definitely pick this book up!
I wasn’t a huge fan of this book. I enjoyed it as a quick read but it wasn’t my favorite. There is a character named Enzo that you will fall in love with. I do enjoy multiple stories within the same scenario or world. Can’t go wrong with a popular trope. This story didn’t exactly pick up where it left off from book one, this focuses on new characters new points of view. Luckily, you do not need to read book one if you haven’t already. The romance and adventure pushes you through the read. I am gonna give this four stars because it is good but I won’t reread. The author does exactly what you would think by continuing the elite world of the mafia; however, I feel this is more of a stand-alone then part of a series.
Breckin never saw her life turning out this way. She surely didn’t expect her husband to leave her. She’s not in the market for a new relationship, especially after how hers ended. She just moved back to Parker so she’s not running but staying isn’t as easy as one would think. Her ex husband working for the same high school definitely brings it’s own challenges. Griff knows loss and grief. Having his own pain doesn’t stop him from listening to the troubles of those around him as he runs his grandfather’s bar. These two have been broken and neither one of them have the desire to meet anyone new. Can these two broken hearted mend with each other?
I really enjoyed this book. There are so many emotions. I hurt for Breckin when her husband left her. She didn’t see that coming. She developed well through the story. She was strong and depended on herself when it mattered. Griff knew what it was like to lose someone and eventually opened his mind to exploring something with Breckin. I loved these characters and couldn’t put the book down!

Short and unique paranormal romance This was a well written M/M paranormal romance. There is not much fluff as the author doesn’t drag the story out with unnecessary descriptions. It is a very unique storytelling style which I actually enjoyed. The characters were easily visualised and the storyline contained strong messages about discrimination and acceptance. I will definitely have to check out more of her work.
I can not explain how much I enjoy reading books by this author. Her smooth writing style is exactly what I enjoy about reading. The quick wit that is a part of the character dialogue, not to mention that they always just feel so real and like I’m sitting there a part of everything going on. I have read these out of order and am so glad I took the time to go back and start at the beginning. Breckin and Griff are two of my favorite characters from this series. I met them in Book 3 then again in book 1. As I said, I’ve read totally out of order, but it doesn’t matter, they are that good.
Griff’s meemaw and Wyatt’s niece Hattie totally stole the story on every page they showed up on. They made me smile and laugh out loud more than once.
The friendships and family aspect of this whole series has me completely hooked. I want to move there and insert myself into this group of people. The progression of Griff and Breck’s relationship was actually beautiful. Knowing each other as long as they had, it felt natural the way everything happened. The sadness they both endured separately yet worked so hard to heal together. There were times I just wanted to scream at certain characters in this story. So it is safe to say, I experienced just about every emotion possible while reading. I love that, and not wanting to put the book down and definitely not wanting it to end!
I can not recommend reading this whole series high enough. Definitely one of my favorite authors ever and I seriously can’t wait to read book 3 again after finishing this one.

This book was a page Turner and tough to put down! Once again, the author gives us a book that feels eerily authentic and simply normal as a reader of a mafia family book. This story of Sofia and Enzo is so intense and you are on the edge of your seat from the start learning about their love for each other. You’re in for a treat once the story takes a turn, as you learn of Sofia’s fate. Good read!
This book is as good as the first. Sofia and Enzo are soulmates. Even from childhood them two had a strong connection. That never weaken through adulthood.
I love this author’s touch of originality on a classic tale! This is my first read for this author and I was drawn in and hooked within the first few chapters.
The author has a writing style that flows smoothly, creating a beautiful world and very lovable characters. I had to make myself take breaks from reading, this book is definitely a page turner!
This is an enjoyable read with a touch of steamy romance, as would be expected from the title. I look forward to reading more from this author!

This is my first read in this series and it wasn’t hard for me to jump right in. Brant & Aubrey’s romance is so sweet and enjoyable. The family drama dynamic is realistic and not rushed in how it’s played out. This book is easy to follow along with and the suspense is attractive. It keeps you wanting more and more!

Action, mystery, mayhem, and risk of death, whew! A great installment in the series!
This book focuses on the friends-to-lovers, reluctant relationship of Enzo and Sophia. I enjoyed reading the flashback near the beginning of the story which described their relationship from when they were kids and how it had morphed to what it was in “current day.” Enzo is next in line to be one of the mafia boss heads but is also a protector for Sophia, a friend and woman he has desired for years. Sophia is an up-and-coming fashion designer who is getting her big break with a fashion showing in Milan, that is if she can ever get there with the threat to her life and her family’s overprotective ways.
I enjoyed the mafia aspect and the threat lingering around Sophia for being the daughter of one of the five mafia bosses that rule. We get to learn a bit about her role as the youngest and only daughter in the family, and how her brothers are very protective. We get to see more of the ladies that make up the group of friends: Liliana, Sophia, Emiliana, and Eva. I especially enjoyed getting to know the Russian assassin Katya (I love me a kick ass ninja type woman).
Like any dramatic romance there is the push and pull of will the main characters end up together in the end. I’m normally not one who enjoys that waffling of will they actually end up together, typically because it’s due to lack of communication and assumptions that the drama unfolds, but I actually really enjoyed how it was done here. There are true reasons why each person has decided not to follow their heart, including some life or death reasons, that add a dramatic tension without it being overdone.

This installment be read on its own but the back information you would have from reading book 1 was beneficial to me keeping the information and names straight.

I love a good cowboy story and one with romance and mystery is even better. This was a very well written story. I fell in love with Brant from the beginning with the unconditional love he had for his kids. His only concern is keeping them safe after his mother passes suspiciously and he has numerous fires on his ranch. Setting off to Oregon to fulfill his mother’s last wish, can he find who is behind the tragedies back home? Brant wanders into Aubrey’s bar, and now she is being stalked. Can Brant keep her safe too? Let the sparks fly, neither of them were looking for love, but it sure found them. I love this authors writing, even though it is the fourth book in the series it is the first I have read. I would love to go back and read the first three but did not feel like I was missing out on anything by dropping in so late.

Parker, Oklahoma and it’s residents have stolen my heart! I absolutely loved this book. I love the small town vibe, I loved the humor and loved just how easy it was to fall into this story. Breckin was heartbroken. Griff was heartbroken. Finding love after heartbreak and navigating those scary waters is so bittersweet. Also, relatable. It’s not always sunflowers and daisies in love. This book was the perfect book to cuddle up with and enjoy, I couldn’t put it down!

If you like Hallmark type holiday stories, this read is for you. It was a bit to sweet for me as I normally prefer my reads on the darker side, (though sometimes I revisit trying sweet stories just to see if my tastes have changed), but it was a well-written story. I didn’t really care for the way things played out with Ben when he first meets Thea. He seemed a little creepy, but maybe that’s because he was really forward. It felt very contrasted to the way he is throughout the rest of the story, which I found a little too perfect. But, if you are looking for low angst, contemporary romance, take-her-to-meet-the-family, and HEA, this is the story you want.
I love a good mafia book and better yet a series. After reading the first book of this series, I couldn’t wait to learn more about the five families. Blood Oath, doesn’t disappoint. Sofia and Enzo were meant to be from the very beginning despite an arranged marriage to be for Enzo to another girl. This romantic suspense gives you a good dose of mafia, true love and friendship all rolled into a great story.

Brant Bellamy’s mother dies from injuries sustained in an attack. Her last words “Find him and make it right” sends him away from his home and family to the Oregon coast. Brant believes his mother meant for him to head there to find a man who his mother knew 40 years ago. Once he’s there, he meets Aubrey Chartrand, a beautiful woman who catches his attention. But he’s not here for pleasure because he has business. However, Brant and Aubrey seem to have a connection they can’t ignore while at the same time, Brant’s bad luck of being someone’s target seems to be including Aubrey.
I really enjoyed reading this romantic suspense story. Although this is the fourth book in a series, I had no problem following the story. It definitely could be a stand alone book. The characters were easy to connect to and I couldn’t help myself rooting for Brant and Aubrey to connect as a couple. It took me a while to catch on to who was causing so much trouble in Brant’s life. The story kept my attention and I really didn’t want to put it down. I’m sure I’ll be reading the author’s other books in the series soon.

This author has done it again! I really enjoyed book one in the Mafia Elite series, and I highly recommend you read it first before Blood Oath, the second in the series. This author has a way with words and makes the characters pop in this series and leaves you wanting to keep reading to find out more.
Blood Oath was a hard to put down read and I would definitely recommend it for anyone who enjoys romance suspense books with a Mafia storyline. I really enjoyed the storyline of this book and fell in love with the characters in this series, and I absolutely cannot wait until I can get my hands on the third book!

This book is the second in a very promising series. It is not for the reader who does not like gore but it is a fantastic tale from beginning to end. Dripped throughout are bits of their past that takes this story to a whole new level. I loved it.

Enzo Vitale is the Underboss in a branch of the Chicago Mafia, he is the heir to the throne and as such, has a large target on his back and is surrounded by danger at all times, but it also means that he is left alone by the authorities because of his blood. Sofia La Rosa is a Mafia Princess who is surrounded by friends and family who love her and will do anything for her, but she is also faced with danger because of this. Her best friend has always been Enzo from a very young age and they know that they would do anything for the other, but everything which seems clear cut as a child, isn’t that always way in adulthood.
Sofia is a fashion designer and one day as she is working in her studio in preparation for her first fashion show during Fashion Week, she is confronted with an unexpected and disturbing sight, this leaves her on edge, even though her best friend who has come to see her is pretty oblivious to the danger. She calls her brother and tells him what is going on, however, they are overprotective of her and soon give her orders to stay where she is until some guards arrive to escort her sagely home, she is annoyed, but understands, so she packs everything she will need up and prepares to go home. Enzo finds out about what happened at the studio and cannot believe what he has heard, he thought that Sofia was safe there and is now worried about her safety, he has tried to keep his distance, but she makes it harder for him at every turn, even though it is the last thing he wants to do.
As the next few days pass and Sofia and her friends try and figure out why this new danger is here and what it means for the present and the future, Sofia hopes it isn’t related to a past event which she has had to swear secrecy about, but as time progresses, she realises that it is indeed that. The danger increases around Sofia as she tries to regain some semblance of normality and because of this she is thrown towards Enzo and despite his best attempts, he cannot deny her anything, however, he is holding onto secrets of his own. Will these secrets destroy everything that Sofia and Enzo have worked towards on their own paths, or will they explode and rip the two best friends apart? This is a battle of past and present to secure a future where nothing is certain and trust is hard to find, earn and be earned as this mafia romance violently flies through from one event to the next in a flurry of action packed storytelling until the conclusion is reached.
I loved this book! It’s a feel good Christmas story. The food sounds delicious; I wish the author would have added recipes, but I’ll be looking a few of them up. This story has great, realistic characters that you can’t help but to fall in love with. If you like Hallmark Christmas movies (and who doesn’t) then this book is definitely for you! I can’t wait until the next one!

Max is another member of the Mafia, however, he has been brought up by the Sicilian branch of the families and knows Liliana’s grandfather, but when he goes to America to infiltrate into an arm of the five families, he changes his appearance and his name to Matt Trambino so that his identity remains a secret, all so that he can protect Lilliana.
Liliana has graduated from college and returned to the fold and her family home, however, life isn’t as straight forward or as pleasant as it seems from the outside, the only saving grace is that she has her small circle of best friends who would do anything for each other and in the past have. To anyone outside of that circle though, her life is perfect, a loving family and wants for nothing, but behind closed doors, she is trapped and will only gain her freedom when her father deems it the right time. I was eagerly looking forward to this story. I enjoyed this one after a while. It started good but then it seemed to stall, be slow and honestly I skimmed a bit during that time. Just past half way things really picked up and became extremely interesting.
I love this series and the characters that have come out of it. In this one we meet Brant and his lovely children. There is more than one reason to love these. Brant is an honest guy who inspires devotion. His kids are a treat…unless your name is Sebastian. Ha ha! Aubrey is a girl looking for her future which doesn’t include Brant. She is focused and it’s easy to admire her. Their chemistry when together, is off the charts!
Overall this is a good addition to the series. It is not necessary to read the previous books but it will heighten your enjoyment of this one (especially book 1). As stated above I did enjoy the last 40ish percent.

This book was entertaining, cute, fantastical, and charming. I enjoyed it! I have read a lot of paranormal romance books and this is one I would definitely read again. I loved the animals that the author chose for the shape shifting, I had not read any books with these animals before! It was a pleasant surprise. Because it was on the shorter side I did not expect to get so attached to the characters as much as I did. I found myself wanting to know more! I look forward to reading their other works.
I really enjoyed Book 1 and was very excited to get started on Book 2 and continue with the story. I feel like you could read this book as a standalone if you wanted to, but it’s so much better to be read in order of the series. I was hooked on reading this from the start. So much action and suspense, that kept me quickly turning the pages eager for more. I loved the attention to detail making me feel like a fly on the wall watching everything happen. I loved every second of reading this book and can’t wait for the next book!
