I’ve always enjoyed books written by these authors. They know the best way to pull you in and keep you interested. I found this story to be quite ordinary its take on vampires. The world knows of them and the vampires have been trying to integrate since prohibition. They have gained certain rights and are fighting for more. Trying to show the world that they deserve love and life even while hunters chase them down.
Even after one hundred years, Edith still mourns the loss of her love. She’s constantly living in the past until she meets Darren. He makes her want to shed her reservations and live in the moment. Being a hunter, Darren never thought he’d meet a vampire he didn’t want to kill; until Edith. Unfortunately for them both, they are breaking clan laws. The clan leader will do everything in his power to stop them.
This is a story filled with desire, longing and danger. It’s hunters versus humans. Will you choose to be the hunter or the hunted? Another excellent book to add to these authors collection.

Dead Lawyers Don’t Lie by Mark Nolan a five-star thriller. This was a great start to the series and shows us what a great story is to come, there are parts that will have your brain itching with clues, but they are just you’re of reach, I feel like the more I read the more clues I will find and the more I will understand. This takes you to the extreme, it really has the most villainous villain I have ever come across. There has to be a special mention to Cody, who will always have a special place in my heart and no doubt the heart of mystery.

Yule Lads I’d a lush short story to read. It’s a Very original storytelling with alot of creativity. The trolls bring a enchanting elements which makes it an fun interesting read. It’s nice to see Iceland version of the Christmas legends. Folk tales are extremely diverse.

This is book three in the PJ Santini series and follows on from the previous books. This book has elements of mystery and romance to it making it a thrilling read. Depressed, crabby, angry; this is the book to read. Your mood will change drastically as the story progress. Lynne Russell has written an incredibly entertaining and, at times, laugh-out-loud crime novel. I’m looking forward to the next in the series of P.J. Santini, her crazy family and friend. She is also both a TV news reporter and private eye. PJ is the kind of woman that once she is assigned and assignment she is determined to find out the answers and truth of what happened. A must read for anyone.

I have read other books by Seelie Kay, but I have to say this one is my favorite one so far. This is not your normal vampire book. The storyline is interesting and fun. There are some points that I had to go back and reread because I did not see the twist coming right at me. The characters are complex and interesting. The characters really bring the story to life. Donavan is a lawyer by day and a vampire by night. He has stumbled across a case in which someone is killing the lawyers. This is not a problem for Donavan as he is already dead. However, Donavan’s duo life is not public knowledge. The lawyer killer is out there but who will be the killer’s target since Donavan can not be killed? Can Donavan find the killer’s identity before it is too late? I highly recommend this story to find out the answers to these questions and more.

This is a great collection of christmas stories which will have your heart in christmas bliss. This book involves 5 books all short stories all revolving around a happy time of the year.
A Magical Christmas in Jerusalem is the first story in this book and follows Kiara who decides to accompany her grandma on a trip of a lifetime. As they arrive in Jerusalem Kiara is met by a handsome guy who ends up being there tour guide.
When Jacques takes Kiera to the not so travel parts of the country will a romance blossom out of this beautiful chemistry, will this just be a holiday romance or much more?
The next story is Another Magical Christmas in Jerusalem, when Tom travel to Jerusalem for a friend’s wedding he is not looking for love, but when he meets Lucie there is a instant attraction. Can Tom and Lucie survive christmas and have a happily ever after.
The third story in this book is Christmas Kiss, New Year’s Wish, Luca and Taylor have been friends for years, while Taylor has always had a soft spot for Luca she has always been too shy to pursue these feels. Luca spends alot of time away with work and now that he has been asked to accept another 2 year contract will be able to make the decision without his best friend Taylor. After a night Taylor decides to make a move and kiss him, will this fulfill all her dreams or shatter a friendship.
The next story in this book is Christmas Kiss in London, the story revolves around Amber who works in a fertility Clinic and loves helping families who have loss all hope in ever having a family. She then is invited to a christmas party and meets someone who she is not really interested in but after he insists that she friends him on facebook she pretends and gets a shock when she receive a private message from a random stranger. She then takes a chance and starts to get to the mystery stranger, will they eventually meet a put the chemistry to the test.
The last book in this collection is Christmas Kiss: But only for the holidays, When Jenna finds herself at home for Christmas, trying to convince her mother that she is happy or she will. Jenna’s friend Leo is also in town, recently single and looking for a date for an event, so he decides to ask Jenna if she could attend them with him, although they are friends Jenna is not happy as Leo is always so boring but as they spend more time together they both see a different side to each other. Could there be a future for them?
I loved this collection of short christmas stories, they were well written and the characters were brilliant, I really enjoyed Christmas Kiss but only for the holidays and Christmas Kiss in London these two books really engaged me and the characters were brilliant, opposites attract in the Christmas Kiss only for the holidays. If you are looking for a great collection of stories, which are easy to read and lovely for this time of year.

I love cheesy Christmas stories. They just make my day. I really like these stories the characters were written well and the writing smooth. Got me ready to watch all the Christmas movies on tv. The author put together something nice for the reads to get a little romance with their tinsel. Taylor had to be my favorite character. She was sweet and the crush on the bf was cute. I definitely recommend this book if you’re looking for something a little sweet to along with the cold nights and hot chocolate.
This book is an anthology of five stort holiday Christmas stories. The stories are connected, but each have their own storyline. I love how it doesn’t take long to fall in like with each of the characters and wanting more. These are great stories that give you all the feels for romance and the Christmas season, so grab a blanket and settle in for a bit and enjoy yourself.

I loved this book. It has everything i love. It is full of mystery and crime. The characters are well written and you can’t help but feel like you are there with them.
Jake is a retired war veteran and along with his dog they just want a quiet life. They have both served their country and now they want to leave their violent past behind them.
That is until a killer arrives calling himself The Artist arrives. Jake accidently gets himself on the killers hit list after he takes a photograph of the killer without realising it. Starvation by Molly Fennig was an incredible book, one that will resonate with you for awhile. While the author tries to take a stab at some dark humor sprinkled throughout, this a serious novel, one that deals with many things. It deals with depression, suicide, anxiety, and eating disorders. It could definitely be triggering for the right person, but I also think that if the right person reads this novel, it can help more than harm them. This book was so well written, I felt like I was right there, struggling along with Wes, the main character. In all honesty I felt like I was reading a John Greene novel with this one. This was absolutely an incredible read, one I think everyone needs to read to try and understand people just a little bit better. Kudos to Fennig for this novel.
There is nothing better than reading a book that plays out like real life. The way we perceive how others see us, the way we put our blind faith in others and trust openly and the way some crazy just appears out of nowhere and hit’s you in the face like a brick. This was such an excellent example of all of the things life puts in front of us. The characters are amazing. The landscape is perfect, that house sounds so quaint and I can see every room as it is described!
This was a decent book read out of order, I have not read the two preceding books about the other brothers and I had a decent idea of who they were and it didn’t give away too much for me to go back and read them. (I’m on it, promise)
Dreaming of Christmas: 5 Complete, Sweet Holiday Romances Joanne Dannon 5 out of 5 stars
There are few things I enjoy more than getting cozy on my couch in front of the Christmas tree with a good book. Make that a book filled with the magic and love of the holiday season and I could stay there all night. Dreaming of Christmas is the perfect collection of sweet, heartwarming stories that will fill you with holiday cheer. My favorite thing about this collection is that while each story has their similarities and ties, they are each unique and enjoyable in their own right as well. I most enjoyed the Christmas Kiss stories. I am a total sucker for the fake relationship plot so Christmas Kiss: But only for the Holidays was definitely a favorite of mine. Christmas Kiss: New Year’s Wish was another absolute favorite as it was another theme that I can not get enough of. I will say, the characters in all five stories were relatable and likeable, you wanted each to have absolute happiness. Joanne Dannon really put together a great holiday collection I would recommend to anyone that wanted to get into the spirit of Christmas, faith and happiness.
2020 has been unreal. And if you’re anything like me, reading (which was already a passion) has become a wonderful escape. And you can definitely do this with Carrie Pulkine’s New Orleans Nocturne series. Light, funny with a touch of angst and a good romance, Ms. Pulkinen has quickly become a go-to author for me.
Life’s a Witch (New Orleans Nocturnes Book 3) is my latest read by this fun author and I was not disappointed. Now, keep in mind, all of Ms. Pulkinen’s books can be read as stand-alone reads but you will get oh so much more enjoyable if you read the books in order. One of the good things about doing this is that Ms. Pulkinen keeps the story moving through each book. There aren’t any “story gaps” between the books (which is AWESOME). You’ll be engaged in each story from the very beginning and pick up more and more details and nuances in each book, so yeah, read them ALL. But back to my review…
This is the 3rd book in this fabulous series and follows Crimson and Mike. And what a pair these two are! The sparks fly between these two from the get-go (and it’s not because Crimson had another spell go awry, lol). I fell in love with these 2 characters so much! I think they might be my favorite couple in this series so far. The shenanigans and circumstances that these two find themselves in are so crazy but hysterical. And the romance – WHEW!! Steamy but sweet! With the added benefit of the wonderful sub-characters and great story, this book was a true pleasure to read. I will definitely be picking up the next book in this series!

I loved this collection of five heartwarming festive romances. ‘Dreaming of Christmas’ gives us five books in one, and each story was a wonderfully written romance which put me in the Christmas spirit. The five stories were all linked and were all about love, hope, family and of course the magic of Christmas. In ‘A Magical Christmas in Jerusalem’, sparks fly between Kiara Lonsdale and Jacques Lenoir, who runs a family tours business in Israel, over camel rides in the desert and mud baths at the Dead Sea. The couple must decide whether what they have is just a holiday romance or something more. ‘Another Magical Christmas in Jerusalem’, centres on Lucie Lenoir a tour guide in Jerusalem who is part of the family business. There is instant attraction between her and Tom Connor but Tom finds Lucie’s large family overwhelming and he’s never wanted a child of his own and Lucie does. The pair must either reach a compromise and have a relationship or just have a holiday romance. In ‘Christmas Kiss, New Year’s Wish’, Taylor Williamson has a massive crush on her best friend, Luca Bianchi but is afraid of ruining their twenty year friendship. Having shared a kiss or two at Christmas Taylor wishes their Christmas kisses will lead to more but Luca is about to return overseas for two more years. ‘Christmas Kiss in London’, introduces us to Amber who accidentally friends Stuntman Darcy Harris on social media but he lives halfway around the world, is a party guy and is younger than her. Supermodel Jenna Williamson seems perfect as she’s not interested in settling down, however, when Christmas kisses become heated between the couple Leo realises that he can not meticulously organise everything. With a bit of Christmas magic their “arrangement” could become permanent. Each story has a lovely romantic storyline featuring some likeable, realistic and relatable characters, which made this an enjoyable and engaging read. The characters all came to life due to the authors descriptive narrative and the chemistry between the couples really came across as well. I could not put this book down once I picked it up and I fell in love with each story. This was a lovely romantic Christmas collection which is a perfect read for during the festive period.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed reading the short stories. The Christmas aspect of these romances filled me with the festive spirit to the point that I could not stop smiling. I instantly fell in love with the characters and Joanne Dannon’s writing style. If you enjoy reading Christmas romances’, this book is definitely for you especially as you drink a mug of hot chocolate by the fire.
Rick is the third book in Roz Lee’s Ingram Brothers series. It starts off with Jake’s wedding, wrapping up the story of the previous book, before delving deep into Rick’s messy love life. As well as being sexy from the get-go, there is depth to the characters and the complications they face. Rick has been in the closet for a long time, keeping his sexuality a secret from the military he served in and from his family. A long-term “thing” with Dave is complicated by both parties’ reluctance to be public about their relationship. This is an enjoyable read. It was easy to connect to the characters and get invested in their experiences. I found myself rooting for Brent from the start – so caring and considerate. And of course there’s the whole accidental housemates trope which is very fun! For me, this is a five star book. Great for fans of gay military romance, and I would recommend it to all fans of a good messy romance.

Unwrapped by Evelyn Sola is a quick, festive story that keep you entertained from start to finish. This is a nice easy read that is perfect for one of those lazy afternoons. I thought the story was quite fun and well paced. It was easy to get loaf in the pages. I did find that there was a bit of disconnect with the characters. I would have liked to have got to know them a little bit more. However then worked well together and had a connection between them that was obvious. This is an overall enjoyable story that is certainly worth reading.

I found this book just like the first very exciting, fast-paced and steamy to say the very least. The heroine takes the reader by the horns into her world where she and her gang save the city of Chicago (or attempt to) but it’s deeper than that. Sloane and Luke’s chemistry is very heated but better together through those action-packed scenes I love as well. I won’t give too much away other than that but this is well worth the read!

Lies That Bind (Logan McKenna Series Book 6) by Valerie Davisson. I LOVE this series. Its my favorite genre but the books are just great. Valerie Davisson had become one of my favorite authors! This is the continuing story of Logan McKenna and her boyfriend Ben. In this installment they are about to meet Logan’s newly found half sister Olivia. Ben and Logan are also remodeling their new home. When the granddaughter of the wealthy owner of the town’s luxury Hotel is found dead in the hotel pool the question is brought to light of whether is was a horrible accident or murder. Logan’s new found sister Olivia is a attorney from New York so she jumps into the investigation with Logan which causes all kinds of chaos. This book has topics such as Mental Illness, murder, guilt and lots more. Such a good read!

I really enjoyed this book. It is a collection of 5 romance stories set at Christmas time. They are so full of festive joy and the magic of christmas that it really makes you get into the spirit of the season.
The romance is sweet and very fitting to go with the Christmas time. The stories are perfect reading to curl up with in front of a warm fire with hot chocolate. The characters are so well written that you can’t help but fall in love with them and feel all the emotions that they are going through.
These books are a great example of the magic and romance that Christmas can bring.
This book is steamy, sensual, romantic and the characters are breathtaking. I loved each and everyone of them but the main two bring the heat, hunty! Their chemistry is undeniable from the beginning and you find yourself rooting for them every step of the way. This book will get you in the Christmas spirit in the most sexiest way.

This book surprised me, I’ll admit it. I’ve never read anything by this author and picked it up based off of the cover. Dom and Tallulah were such a cute couple, but not in the fluffy no substance kind. What I enjoyed most about this couple is that their relationship seemed very realistic. There is romance, but the parts that got me were the tender moments, the moments that they cared about each other, the simple brush of a hand, and the best was the banter. I am a woman who loves to banter and harass my man and get it back. There is romance and some HOT intimate scenes but they don’t drive the story or the book. There was substance to the words, to the story, there were surprises and even a little twist. They dealt with real world things and this book did a great job of showing how a couple thinks about those differently, but also how they find their strength in each other. The author’s writing style is very easy to read, the words just flowed, and she made you feel connected to each person even the secondary character like Amy, Mason, and Seb. If you enjoy contemporary romance that is about more than just doing it you will want to pick up this book. I already preordered the next book this morning!

This is the third book in this series, I enjoyed it just as much as the previous two books. This author has continued to impress me with his writing skills and his attention to details. This book is no different. The plot is creative and the characters bring the story to life. This is a fast paced story that is engaging and easy to read. Rowena is back in another action filled story. This time she has taken to the streets to report the war going on around her. As things are falling apart around her she is forced to decide which side of the war she is on. She is such a great character and really does make the story for me. I highly recommend this book and this series.

Fake Fiancé: A Second Chance Office Romance is another superb read from Amy McKinley. I know I have said this before, but I really do love Ms. McKinley’s books, she never fails to draw me into her stories, getting me completely invested in her wonderful characters and the outcome of their story. Ms. McKinley is a one-click, no questions asked author for me. I don’t need to know anything about her book to know that I will love it- and this book proves that point yet again. I loved Adeline and Stone- their chemistry was intense and palpable. But if that alone isn’t enough to entice you, the story was cleverly woven with interesting elements that had me captivated the whole way through. Add a little mysteriousness, some touching & tender moments, emotion, a little drama, lots of spice- and an extra helping of destiny- and this story became un-put-downable. Another feather for Ms. McKinley’s cap, that’s for sure!

Unwrapped by Evelyn Sola. When I read the “about” part of this story I knew I had to read it. This author is new to me but after this book I’ll definitely be looking for more. The author blended steamy romance with well written storyline nicely. Sometimes it can be a bit heavy handed but I didn’t feel that in the story. In the beginning it was a little slower but once I was drawn in I didn’t want it to end. I had a easy time connecting with each character and they each really made to story. It’s well written and paced nicely. I’m definitely excited to see what else this author has to offer. Four stars and highly recommended!
