Such a riveting book! Composed is book number 8 in the Ash Park Series by Meghan O’Flynn. On this adventure, Petrosky has the opportunity to catch what he thinks just might be a serial killer and save his only friend at the same time. One woman turns up murdered and then a second one. Petrosky might He is also dealing with his own set of demons that seem to be more prevalent in this book. This book along with the others is a definite page turner. The storyline is quite dynamic and believable to the point that you think you are in the story. There are so many twists and turns that keep you engaged and involved in the book. Like I always say, you should start with the beginning of this series, but you don’t have to. You can read this as a standalone, but to truly understand this series you need to read this from the beginning. This series just keeps getting better and better. The characters get better and better. I can’t wait for the next book to come out!

I loved reading the book It Comes From Within (House Valdis Book 2) by Naomi Valkyrie. It is a story that had me hooked from the very beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. I love the character of Xenobia. She is the head of House Valdis. She also is feeling the strain of that leadership. I love that Xenobia is intelligent, strong, and independent. She is also considerate of those around her and truly cares about them. What will happen when situations begin to overwhelm her? What will happen when the past collides with the future? Read this book to find out. This is a character-driven book. It tells the story from the POV of many of them and you get a chance to find out more about them and the part that they play in the story. For some characters, this is an emotional journey and for others, it is a time of self-discovery. I love fantasy books and this one is a good example of why. The author does an amazing job of making both the storyline and the characters come alive on the pages. I felt like I was right there with them. Don’t miss out on an exciting and entertaining story that you won’t want to put down. I would recommend reading these stories in order for a better experience. You won’t be disappointed.

This book was such an amazing read! I have loved the whole series so far so I was extremely excited to get my hands on the newest instalment and Ms Kells did not disappoint AT ALL!!!!! I was hooked from beginning to end, it was fast paced, engaging, thrilling and just an all-round fantastic read! Could it be read as a standalone – I guess it could but I 100% recommend the others in the series I think it helps with the whole reading experience for this book! The main characters Catriona and Liam were fantastic to read about, the author does such an amazing job with the characters she creates. I loved them both from the very beginning! I loved that really these two shouldn’t have worked – a nun and a cop but for me they were just perfect! I absolutely loved this book and I 100% recommend it to other readers!!

The fifth book in the Jake Wolfe series and I am still really enjoying reading them. I find myself easily captivated and engrossed in what I am reading from the very beginning until the end. It’s nice to step out your reading comfort zone sometimes which I did with this series and I have definitely found some new books and characters to love. I really like Jake’s character; he is really fun to read about. I loved the twists and turns in this new instalment – they certainly kept me on the edge of my seat on more than one occasion. I think the story is probably quite relevant with everything happening in the world at the moment so definitely made it more interesting to read! As always I look forward to reading more from this author again in the future!

Heidi Herman gives you a glimpse into the Icelandic life and the history of the saying “On with the butter!” Although this book is geared towards those who are retired or on the brink of retiring and looking to prepare for it better, I found it to be really helpful as well.
The book starts with an introduction to Heidi and how she learned about this saying and what it means to her and how it has impacted her life. The explanation is detailed, as is the description of what life can be like when this saying hasn’t been introduced into it.
The format is one that I have not seen used in such an effective way before, each chapter deals with a different aspect of life, there are her thoughts on it, a few anecdotes from her personal experiences and then there is a challenge to go along with it.
This book is a great read if you’re looking for inspiration on how to get the best out of life, giving the little kick needed to try out new things and why it is so important to keep your zest and enjoyment of life present at all times.
So take a chance to discover what it could be like to get on with life and “Spread more Living onto Everyday Life” by saying “On With The Butter” as well!

Secure Again was another great read from R.L. Dunn; the story was as engaging and exciting to read as the first one. There was great mix of mystery and suspense running throughout and I was engaged from beginning to end. I loved that the plot was predictable either; I loved having to guess what is going to happen!! There did seem to be quite a few different characters and it took me a little while to get used to them all but I loved the main characters! I loved Elizabeth! She was a really strong character and a pleasure to read about. I was definitely on the edge of my seat on a few occasions waiting to see if characters would survive and would Elizabeth be able to help them! There were a few twists in the story too which made it even better to read! Secure Again was a great read, one that I thoroughly enjoyed reading and one that I would highly recommend!

This is a book that is only suitable for those over 18, due to the adult content throughout.
This book starts with Road who has just been in a serious accident as is on his way to recovery, the only trouble is, he will never be able to compete in his beloved sport any longer and this is a future that he is really struggling to accept. This is making him a time bomb which could go off any second and everyone around him knows it and is on eggshells around him.
When he is summoned in to see his Prez, Drummer, he is worried about what the outcome may be, he knows his fuse is short and that he isn’t dealing well with things, but he does not know whether or not this is something his Prez is going to continue to allow. This is where his Prez surprises him with a suggestion which could help.
This suggestion is for him to have a change of scenery and go to visit another chapter, in Road’s case, this is the one down in Utah. Drummer is worried that something is going on in Utah, not that it is a bad thing, they haven’t shown any reason for his worry, apart from that things are just too right at the club and he has a gut feeling that something is quite as it should be. Road is surprised, but is willing to accept that Drummer is trying to help, but he wonders why, out of all his brothers, Drummer has chosen him of all people!
As Road prepares to leave and set off for his road trip, he knows that it will be a slow one with the pain from his injuries reducing the amount of time which he can spend in the saddle. Even so, he hopes the time away will help him to clear his head so that when he comes back home, he will be back somewhat to his usual happy self.
When he gets close to the club, the idea that a warm welcome and a bed to sleep in is surely on the cards at least, but other than that, he truly has no idea of exactly what he will be walking into and this is where the story really begins.
What Road finds at the Utah branch will change his perceptions and life forever, but what that means for him is something that he may not have much time to figure out. In this tale of twists and turns, unexpected trials, tribulations and choices which have to be made, will Road be able to handle it, or is he in over his head before he has even walked through the front door? Only time will tell.

Sienna has spent her whole life unwanted and is marked as unwanted. This is a very complaining Dystopian Fantasy which i could not stop reading. Dont let the page count fool you. This story packs so much into it that I felt I read a great story in a short amount of time. Not many can pull that off but this author sure did. Whether you have read anything else by this author or not, this is perfect to get into this world and learn more about Xenobia. This takes place before Rise of the House of Valdis so no matter which order you read them, this is a must read. I cant wait to read more !
This history buff is thrilled to have found Holmes and her treasures. This is my second book by this author and will definitely not be the last I pick up. I thoroughly enjoyed how she entwines drama and adventure into different historical eras and brings them to life. The characters were extremely well written. I felt like I was transported to walk alongside these characters and loved the journey I found. A great piece of historical fiction.

This adventure had me glued to the pages right from the start. Centrae started the book with an immediate dramatic flair and the adventure never let up. Centrae is a new author to me but one I am very thankful to have found. I enjoyed her writing style and thoroughly enjoyed this thriller. I hope to read more from her very soon.
Road Tripped (Satan’s Devils MC Utah #1) by Manda Mellett was a great 5 star read. I couldn’t wait to get started on the first book in the series. Once you get started you will not want to put it down.
Road is having a hard time accepting that he will no longer be able to participate in his favorite sport. To get his mind off of things and get him out of the club for a break, he is sent to go check on the Utah chapter and see what secrets they are keeping. This is where he meets Swift, there is something special about her that pulled Road in.
Will he find out what is going on with the chapter? Will he be able to move on from his past?
Overall I really enjoyed this read. Both characters were great and all of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. There are several twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. We also get some very steamy moments. The author does a great job with her writing and pulls you right in. This is a great start to a new MC series and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. 1-click and get started today.

This story was no different in the regard because once again I found myself completely lost in the pages. They mystery and suspense are on full blast and I was all to glad to crawl inside for a while. I’m a sucker for a great suspense and this author brings without fail every time I read one of these books. Once again I found myself lost in the twists and turns in all the right ways. The characters are complex and easy to connect with. The author is great at pinning down even the smallest details which I appreciate greatly. Excited to see where this author takes readers next. Composed (An Ash Park Novel Book 8) by Meghan O’Flynn was another exciting read. I love a good mystery and my favorite part of crime shows is when one crime relates to another in another episode. Reading from Detective Petrosky’s point of view is like a multiple episode serial killer. I absolutely love all the details and twists and turns. I will probably be on edge for the next couple of days but this book is a book hangover and a half.

Composed (volume 8 in the Ash Park series) by Meghan O’Flynn was another great read in this series! It helps to read the others in the series first, but I haven’t read all the books in the series yet and I wasn’t confused so it’s not required. It does help though! There’s never a shortage of suspense, thrills, or pessimism when you’re reading an Ash Park novel and this one doesn’t disappoint at all. If you’re looking for a good, interesting crime read this one is it! It normally takes a lot for me to get into a crime novel, but it didn’t take much when I read this series! I definitely recommend not only this book, but all of them!

Finders Reapers: A Paranormal Romantic Comedy is the fourth book in the New Orleans Nocturnes series by Carrie Pulkinen. This author does it again. I have read other books in this series and have absolutely loved them, and this one did not disappoint. Like the other books in this series, the main characters couldn’t be more wrong for each other. Asher is the grim reaper who decides to take a break. Unfortunately, this leads to some souls escaping the underworld which poses as a great threat to New Orleans. Jasmine, who is a necromancer, can try to tame the souls but it could turn out to be more trouble than good. Asher and Jasmine must work together to try to get the souls back to the underworld or it could mean death for Asher. This story has the perfect blend of paranormal elements, with light hearted humor and romance. I highly recommend this book, as well as others in this series.

She is also the calm before the storm. With that being said The Chief has been kidnapped and time is running out. Can Petrosky and Jackson stop the killer before it is too late?
Meghan O’Flynn has caught me again with my guard down. This book is so Intense and fast paced. I had a hard time putting it down. The more I read, I wanted to help out. Nothing has been left out in this mystery. You Knew every turn that was taken. I fell in love with Petrosky books ago. But this has to be my favorite. He played his character to perfection. House Valdis Origins: Xenobia by Namio Valkyrie is a prequel to the Rise of House Valdis. This is an amazing short story that transports you right back into the gritty world you have already been introduced to. I loved the insight it gave us into Xen and where she came from. And I loved the fact that the author knew exactly how much we needed from this story and how much needed to be held back for the rest of the series. This book is just brilliant. I was thinking about it long after I had finished reading it and it has just whet my appetite even more for the next book in the series. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.
Lucky At Love: Some Guys Just Never Give Up by Cynthia Hamilton is a unique take on the view people have of love and relationships and what constitutes a success. It was interesting to read a book with this perspective as it isn’t something you see everyday. It was not what I expected from it going in which was a pleasant surprise. At times I did find the writing a bit slow in pace. There were times when I felt the author could have sped up the story a bit or added a little something extra to it. However the overall story was enjoyable and I found myself wanting to know what was going to happen. This was a good book and certainly worth a read.

Secure Desire was a 5+ star read and A Chase Group Novel. All I can say is wow, I was pulled in right from the beginning.
Cassie is an FBI agent who has had a couple of huge tragedies in her life. She has closed herself off from any type of relationship, she’s damaged. Ian Chase met Cassie six years prior and was smitten with her, seeing her again now has brought the feelings back and he starts to pursue her. Ian is an ex-Navy Seal who owns his own successful private security team and I might add is extremely hot.
Cassie remembers meeting Ian but had suffered a traumatic event that has caused her to shut down and have panic attacks. She’s afraid to get close to anyone for fear of rejection.
You won’t like me once you know what I am – Cassie
There is a huge twist at a charity event that had my emotions all over the place. I will warn it does get graphic and had me cringing at times. My heart went out to Cassie and everything that she went through. I was on the edge of my seat pretty much the whole time waiting to see what was coming next. Can Ian and his team keep Cassie safe? Will Cassie finally let Ian into her heart?
There is so much more to this read. I loved all of the characters, they all added great elements to the story. Some I didn’t care for, some I loved. I can’t wait to see more from several of them. I highly recommend this read and I look forward to reading more from R.L. Dunn. I need more from the Chase Group. I loved them.

This was an interesting and informative book about living each day to the fullest.
The author writes in a clear and easy way so it makes it all easy to understand and relate to. It give you lots of examples and ideas to try your self and I like the check list of ideas at the end of each chapter.
The author relates the information to her own experiences which is a nice personal touch and shows she has experienced the stages she is speaking about.

This book got me hooked right away. It starts out with Allison, the journalist for a magazine, pitching her new story idea about a man who has been married & divorced 7 times. Jake who Allison met at his sisters wedding doesn’t believe he is a failure at marriage. Instead, he feels lucky to have loved so many different women. Jake definitely has an interesting take on marriage and love. I also appreciated that Allison started to really think about her marriage. Books that make you think about your own life are the kind I love the most.

When you meet someone you had prejudged as something else, it makes you take a look into your heart and soul and makes you evaluate what you have.
Allison is successful within her career, at the top of her game but when she has an idea to write an article regarding a man who has been married seven times, she does not predict what a life changer it will become.
Jake is a hopeless romantic, he has been married seven times trying to find the right one but he is not jaded he just jumps back in and looks for the next one.
I loved this story the characters of Allison and Jake were rich and just complimented each other perfect. I loved the way that Cynthia delved into the reality of Allison and that she was starting to re-evaluate everything she thought was safe in her life. You feel like you are with her working through all the decisions and relationships she has to get to a place where she loves herself more than anything and that she become at peace with that.
I loved the character of Jake he was warm and definitely jumped the list of book boyfriends. The story was well written and gentle weaved through both their stories. I would definitely recommend this story and can’t wait to read more by this author.

Detective Edward Petrosky is on another dark, thrilling case against a psychophy who is determined to make Petrosky hurt when the killer decides to make this personal will Edward fight his own demons and solve the case and find his friend.
I love this series it’s a dark crime mystery with loads of intrigue and twists and turns. The character of Edward is flawed but it seems like the flaws add dimensions to him which enhances the stories as they go through the series. In this book it delves more into his insecurities and the emotions of the personal element to this case as his friend the Chief of Police is kidnapped.
The story was well developed and a great page turner, it will have you up past midnight reading “just one more chapter”. If you are looking for a great storyline, with suspense and mystery this is definitely the book for you.

I loved how he and Allison were completely relatable characters. Their past situations are completely realistic and you can’t help but completely relate to themselves and how they feel. The author did a great job on the depth of her characters and they were completely engaging. I fell in love with this book and the authors writing. I cannot wait for more stories!

This fantasy hooked me in with in the first page and I couldn’t stop reading it. The story has wonderful characters, it is is well written, and I liked that it clearly shows the points of view of the different characters. Valentina works hard to survive but realizes she needs to find employment somewhere other than at home after her parent’s disappearance. She finds herself working for a lord taking care of his twin daughters in a house that is protected by magic. This book is the first book I’ve read by Ms. Frost and I cannot wait to read more of her books.

The Lightning Horse (Empire at Twilight Book 1) by N.L. Holmes, is one of my favorite kinds of stories. I love a mystery. But her mysteries aren’t just any mystery. Her mysteries are set in history. Ancient history. More precisely the Hittite period. Not only does she write great stories, the language is beautiful, the world is very descriptive, the imagery is evocative, and her characters are so alive. N. L. Holmes is an author I will not tire of recommending.

EverMarked is the first book in The EverMarked Series by A.J Eversley. It is a young adult dystopian fantasy with sci-fi elements, action, adventure, suspense, romance, mystery, and so much more. This is the first book that I have read from A.J Eversley, so I really didn’t know what to expect from the story. But the cover drew me to the book and the blurb sealed the deal. I enjoyed the story, and even though it was a little slow at times and I didn’t fully connect with one of the two MC’s, I am invested enough to want to continue the series- as well as explore the “Watcher Trilogy” which is apparently set in the same ‘world’, only set much earlier in time- sounds intriguing. Sienna is a Marked Kid, (and the whole concept behind that is incredibly original and interesting) who has spent her entire life in an orphanage. She dreams of being “free” and imagining what life will be like once she’s out. Fighting in the Underground is her means-to-an-end. Jayla’s a watcher whose mission is to keep the city safe. But a threat has emerged, which will test them all. With the explosion rocking the city, Jayla is determined to track down the ones responsible. Discoveries are made, which places the Marked Kids in the middle of everything. What ensues makes for an interesting read. Ending on a cliffhanger, I am intrigued by where this series is headed and what I might discover in the next book.

It Comes From Within is the second book in the House Valdis series by Naomi Valkyrie. This is a very engrossing, and complex paranormal fantasy with a multi-layered storyline full of sci-fi elements, action, danger, violence, responsibility, suspense, secrets, vendettas, humour, tension, dramatic developments, romance, chemistry, hidden agendas, and magic. We met the majority of the cast back in Book One, so it was great to pick up with them again. Xenobia is still trying to come to terms with what occurred (in Book One) and all the added responsibility that brings. Merging the two houses and all the restructuring has taken time and a lot of energy. She is feeling the pressure and isn’t sure how much more she can take. It seems like she’s leaping from one crisis right into another. Then someone begins targeting House Valdis- danger is mounting, with a mysterious and malevolent adversary plotting from the shadows, one who has no intention of playing by the rules and is hell bent on winning at all cost, things escalate pretty quickly. With a lot riding on the outcome- the level of intensity was definitely set on HIGH- I was hanging on every word. I soooo need the next book…. STAT!!! I really recommend reading the previous book before starting on this one as this isn’t a standalone story, with the storyline bridging from the first book to this one. There is also a Prequel, which will add even more texture and provide important backstory. I loved that this book builds on what we already know, adding more facets to an already intriguing story. Brilliant!!
