I enjoyed this book. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites. One of the things I love most about this author is how I am pulled into the story right from the start. This one is no different. It is a well written story that made me feel as if I was a part of it. It is a story of starting over, revenge and getting justice. When a handsome man enters the picture will that change things? Is there justice in the future? How will fate step in and take over? There is quite a bit going on in this story but I found it easy to keep up with. This is a really great story that has characters I had no problems connecting to. They are well developed and made the story pop. I highly recommend this fast paced story and this great author.

I enjoyed this Christmas fairytale. This is a story that reads like a fairytale with a princess and maybe even a prince charming. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites of her yet. It is a well written story that made me feel as if I was right there with the characters. I had no problem connecting to them and they made the story easy to read. It is a great holiday story that takes place in a place that most people don’t believe exists. At least Logan didn’t think so until he crashed into it. He is attracted to Princess Jenny right from the start. When he hears that she needs a husband within the next three weeks, he thinks that he fits the bill. The problem is he can’t remember if he already has a wife or not. Will he remember in time for them to have a happy ever after? I found myself hoping that they would end up together in the end but you will have to read this book to find out. I highly recommend reading this book and this author.

This psychological thriller will have you on the edge of your seat while the suspense keeps you on your toes. The story often goes back in time but does so little by little just giving you a hint of a little bit more until the whole truth is revealed and boy does it have some twists. Charlotte Ashe is a weather girl working in London. When a hint of a story is thrown her way, little did she know that it would come with deadly consequences, secrets and lies, painful truths and so many cover ups that she would never be the same. Less You Know: gripping suspense (Ashes to Ashes Book 2) is the second book in the series and you really need to read Bad Things Happen, the first book in the series as it lays the groundwork for this book. Less You Know is a psychological thriller that is dangerous, full of secrets and suspense and is full of many twists and turns that you don’t know what is going to happen, even when you think you do. Rowena’s skillful writing takes you on a gripping journey where you don’t know who is who and what is what. Charlotte Ashe once again finds herself in the thick of things when her friend is missing. Investigating is in her blood but at what cost. The closer she gets, the more she finds out and the more danger she is in, shows just how much she doesn’t know who her friend is and the many secrets she holds.
From The Ashes (Ashes to Ashes #3) is the third book in the Ashes to Ashes series. I recommend reading the previous books before this one. This story starts off with a bang. It’s intense right from the beginning and you just can’t stop reading. Part of what makes this book so suspenseful is the back and forth of the timeline. It keeps the answers just out of reach and creates the drive to keep focused so you can figure it all out. I won’t get into details, because I don’t want to give away any of the plot turns. Suffice it to say, this book is spectacularly suspenseful, marvelously mysterious, and a dangerously delicious read.
5 Star Dares & Dice (Spicetopia #5) by Phoebe Alexander
Dares & Dice is the fifth book in the Spicetopia series and my favorite yet. I have absolutely loved this series and I highly recommend reading the first four books in this series. Although they can be read as standalones once you read one you’re going to want to read more . In this book we get Ty and Makenna are at Spicetopia celebrating their bachelor and bachelorette parties . But what they don’t realize is they are about to have the time of their lives. When the dice are rolled all bets could be off . Will there even be a wedding? I highly recommend reading this hot and steamy book . You won’t be disappointed. As always I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

This was a touching love story about 2 people who have had trouble and heartache in their lives overcoming it to be together and finding happiness again.

He goes to Melinda to sign up to her dating site to find him his perfect match but what neither of them expect to find is that they are perfect matches for each other.

Summer’s Stolen is the second enthralling addition to the Seasons of Magic series by Sarah Biglow. This is another action-packed urban fantasy, with paranormal elements, and interwoven with crime drama, mystery, suspense, magic, danger, tension, intrigue, good vs evil, sinister forces, and more. I really recommend reading the first book in the series, Spring’s Calling, before embarking on this adventure- as there are references in this story to events that took place in the first book, as well as recurring characters- so having all that information on board will greatly enhance your reading experience of this story. It’s been 3 months since the fate of the world hang in the balance, and Ezri averted the apocalypse and saved the day (Book One). She has taken her place on the magical community’s council, as well as working on balancing her responsibilities as a police officer, with her duty to the magical community. When young girls begin disappearing, Ezri is on the case. Her investigation sees her teaming up with FBI Agent Cartwright, and being led back to the order responsible for all the chaos in book one. Can she survive another round with the sinister forces? You will have to read this book to find out. It’s definitely worth the read. I’m really enjoying this series and am looking forward to more ‘Seasons of Magic’ stories!

These types of stories always send me on the best possible emotional rollercoaster. Race does a fantastic job setting the stage for a beautiful story. I was immediately invested, rooting for the main characters to find a way. Because at the end, aren’t we all looking for our own HEA? This played to my romantic heart with a foot kept firmly in reality. I had a hard time putting this down and simply wanted to spend more time with these characters. Beautiful book.

Stewart does it again! She is one of my favorites when it comes to a good rom com. Her characters are complete – completely flawed, completely relatable, completely wonderful. This newest addition to the Carolina Kisses series continues her well-standing tradition of heart filled story. I was glued to this one on the first page and happily read it in one sitting. I have loved these books from the start and this one is no different. We get to know Ty and McKenna, both of them go to spicetopia for their bachelor and bachelorette parties. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. There are some surprising moments in this story. This book is romantic, funny, witty, and original. I loved reading this book, I have come to know that if Phoebe Alexander wrote it then I am going to read it because she is a great author. I highly recommend this book.
Dares & Dice is the 5th book in the Spicetopia series by Phoebe Alexander. I have read the whole series so I knew what I was getting into with this book, and it followed similar to the previous books. Each book focuses on one couple, and takes place in Spicetopia, the adult theme park in the Bahamas. The characters in this one are Makenna and Ty, who travel to Spicetopia on their bachelorette and bachelor party. They are not engaged to each other, but rather are travelling with their bridal party, looking for one last good time. They are in a casino, and their groups join up for a drink, and maybe a little fun… When they are approached by a Spicetopia employee, offering them a competitve scavenger hunt with a $10,000 prize. They quickly pair up and set out for a wild night. What they didnt expect was for sparks to fly, leaving both questioning their future. You can probably read this book as a standalone, but I don’t recommend it. The series is fun and spicy, and have overlapping characters.

This is the second of the Seasons of the Magic series and I find myself enjoying this series a lot. It is full of action, interesting characters and keeps the readers on the hook till the very end. Ezri is on another case with her friend Jacquie, cousin Desmond and other members of the authority. There are children who are missing one after another. The video footage shows them disappearing. Ezri has to use all her magic, her power and her strength to trace these missing children. She pairs up with an FBI agent Cartwright to follow the trail of the whisperers who will eventually lead her to the people who have been kidnapping the children. We get to know about other magical communities in this book, like the African and the Hispanic people who follow magic in their own accord and the friction between different communities. I love this book, which has both a thriller and a fantasy element to it. In fact, even without the fantasy element, this book and the characters would have been equally exciting. Ezri comes across as a strong-willed independent woman whom everyone can rely on, the savior which the western magic descendants need. Overall a very good read, full of twists and turns! A good sequel to the first book! I am hoping there will be two more in this series, and cannot wait to read the third!

Dead Magic (The Sanctuary Chronicles #3) by India Kells was a thrilling 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning.
Finn is a very old vampire, he is at the point where he is ready to meet his maker. However, when a certain someone connects with him and asks for his help, his plans change immediately. She is the one and only person he would stay for.
Violet lost her parents to a vampire and should hate them but something about Finn pulls her in and she can’t stop thinking about him. He’s different from the others. When Finn arrives to help Violet, they discover that working together makes them stronger, can they work together to keep Violet safe and help with her internal war?
Overall this was a great read, my emotions were all over the place. The characters were all great. I love Violet and Finn’s connection. If you like paranormal romance you will love this book and series. 1-click and get started today.

A magical and exciting read, Summer’s Stolen by Sarah Biglow, was a difficult book to put down. It is the second book in the Seasons of Magic series and can be read as a standalone. I felt that this book was better than the first and loved how easily it enveloped my imagination. The disappearances had me intrigued and worried for those involved. I loved following Ezri and her partner Jacquie as they worked meticulously and efficiently to solve their case. They were thorough and I loved their personalities. They had great character development as the story progressed. This was a delightful read and a book I highly recommend. It was an easy 5-stars.

Dead Magic: The Sanctuary Chronicles by India Kells. This one may just be my favorite yet by this author. Immediately I was completely drawn in to this book and couldn’t put it down. This author writes characters that are easy to connect with and picture , they bring the story to life. I find myself lost in the pages and wishing it didn’t have to end. I sometimes have a harder time getting into a fantasy/paranormal type story but I never have that issue with this author and series. The characters are complex and relatable with chemistry jumping off the pages. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Can’t wait for more from this author. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

As indicated above, Summer’s Stolen is the second book in Sarah Biglow’s Seasons of Magic series. This is a series that leaves you wanting more in all the best ways! Much like the first book, Summer’s Stolen captured me from the first word to the last. As we continue to get to know Ezri and watch as she juggles career and personal, magical aspects of her life, there is never a shortage of intrigue or excitement. Sarah Biglow is still a new to me Author but it’s quickly exceeding all expectations with action, great characters and detailed world building. I would definitely recommend this series and look forward to more from this Author.

Golden Void (Black Blade Book 3) by Alexander Charalambides. Another fantastic addition to a great series. Once again I found myself completely lost in the pages of this story. The characters draw you into their story and take you on an adventure you won’t soon forget. This author knows how to hook readers and keep them coming back for more. This story has a fast pace that had me turning the pages as fast as possible. The characters truly bring this story to life. It’s a well written story. I’m giving this story a four star review and highly recommend it. Excited to see where the author takes readers next.

This book really made me think about my boundaries. Jessica Aiken-Hall does a masterful job in this suspenseful, mystery, crime genre. There are twists and turns and drama around every corner. The main character is smart, witty, and an introvert. This story kept me at the edge of my seat. Valerie is the “anti-social social worker”. She works with people who are primarily dead. This is one part of her job she likes. She has boundaries and she sticks to them. If you have boundaries how willing are you to cross them. In this book, Valerie has to cross them. I highly recommend this story. It will keep you going to the last word.

This is book five and it’s just as amazing as the others. Sometimes when a series goes on for a while you lose something unique but this series always captures me completely and I find myself unable to put it down. The characters are complex and relatable, so easy to connect with. They draw you into their world right away. I just love getting lost in these books for a few hours and always sad when I come to the end. The storyline is well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Five huge stars and highly recommended.
Love Gaia: The Diary Directive by T.L. Clark is a fascinating post-apocalyptic read. Aroha and her classmates are in a situation where they must learn from the past in order to survive. Will they make it through? This is a YA read but well written and with many thoughtful topics handled with great care and concern. I have read other books from this author and this one is also well done. I really enjoy the stories brought by this author as well as how the characters and story are developed. This story brought me into what Aroha and her classmates were experiencing with such fine detail. It was not overwhelmed by tons of action like other YA dystopian stories but instead took the energy and time to develop an interesting tale. I look forward to reading more from Clark in the future and what worlds I will be taken to next.

Excellent. This story is fun, it is original, techy, funny and dramatic. I love the storyline of a world addicted to technology and a world where you can hack into someone’s glasses and erase or read their memories. This is also slightly creepy but fun. The only big news Lucy has to share with her sister Mollie, is that she likes Marco. Mollie on the other hand shares that she can erase people’s memories. Then we meet Nick, who can also erase memories, and he sees that Lucy now knows of him. Watching Lucy on the run, as to not get her memories wiped, and her interactions with Marco is an adventure. The romance between Lucy and Marco is sweet and at times for me, frustrating, due to Marco’s memories being wiped. Overall a fantastic read, wonderful characters and I can’t say enough how creative this book really is. I highly recommend this read! I felt as though I was watching a movie and not reading a book. Ruth Mitchell is an amazing writer and I hope for another book like this in the future from her.

You would think after saving the world, you would get a break. Unfortunately that’s not the case for Ezri Trenton. She’s taken her seat on the Council and is trying to find balance between her personal life and being a detective. Some girls start disappearing in the vicinity and when one of them turns out to be her partner’s niece, Ezri jumps on the case. Turns out they are part of the magical community as well and this leads Ezri to the dark underbelly of the city. Heading into dangerous situations again, she learns that the Order of Samael is not finished with her. Can she survive round two?
A story filled with action and magic, it also had the added mystery of trying to figure out who took the girls. Another book to keep you on the edge of your seat. With wonderful characters and an amazing storyline, this is definitely a must read.

Another steamy story to add to a fabulous series. Although I found it wasn’t as spicy as some of the others, it still had enough heat to get you hot and bothered. Makenna and Ty decide to have their bachelor and bachelorette parties at Spicetopia. A chance meeting at the newly opened casino has them teaming up for a scavenger hunt. Interesting things happen on this hunt but fate wouldn’t leave things to chance, dares or dice.
Although the books in this series can be read as stand alones, I highly suggest reading them all. Ms. Alexander will not disappoint you, this series is amazing. I think this book may be my favourite one yet!

I am a huge fan of this series. Every time a new book comes out I lounge on the couch and can usually finish it in a day or two. Dares & Dice was no different. Phoebe Alexander hit the jackpot when she started this series. I absolutely love it. Dares & Dice is book # 5 and each book is better then the last!
This book is about two sets of people. Makenna is there with her maid of honor and 3 bridesmaids while Ty is there with his best man and 3 groomsmen. What are the odds they will break up into teams for a scavenger hunt? Well they do and they decide 5 groups of 2 would make up the teams. I love the 2 main characters Makenna and Ty. They are both set to get married in the next few weeks but, is it really what they want? Ty has some secrets about who he really is and it will come out eventually. I thought Ty and Makenna were both 2 strong characters. Makenna is such a good girl and her fiancé has no idea how good she really is. Makenna and Ty get very close during the hunt but then it is cut short and they don’t get to say goodbye. Will they have another chance meeting? I was appalled by what Makenna finds out when she gets back from her honeymoon. This was such a great read and an awesome addition to the series. I can’t wait to see if there are any more books. Dares & Dice can be read as a stand-alone.
The fun never stopped for Ezri as she continued her journey to becoming the chosen one. The second installment of Ezris story started out with a mystery and continued with some intrigue and suspense. Ezri continued to grow in her powers and in her role as the savior for all her community. This was a really good sequel to the initial novel and I cannot wait to read the next part of Ezri’s story by Sarah Biglow.

Feisty Heroines Romance Collection of Shorts: Paranormal-Contemporary-Fantasy-Historical Anthology 4 Stars!!!!
I really love getting a nice variety of authors and genre types in one book. This is a great collection of short stories. I am really looking forward to reading the ones I have not yet to read. There is something to be said about anthologies as you can get a wide rage of authors and a lot of different stories and not have to put down the book.
My favourite of what I have read is Good Bones by Maggie Adams. This is such a nice contemporary romance. I loved how the author was able to use the main characters pasts to highlight what will become their future. I also like how it was not a love at first sight type story but rather a hate to love story. I find that the author really brought the characters to life and that it was not predictable which is always a bonus. I was so glad that Griffin and Casey were able to come together. It was really quite a sweet short read and I really look forward to reading more from this author in future.

The story Love Comes in the Mourning by Erin Bevan is a book that I loved reading. It pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. It is a romance story that touched my heart and I have to say that I went through quite a bit of tissue while reading it. It had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. It is also a book that had both wondering what was going to happen next and falling in love with the characters of Lesley DeLoach and John Hambrice. Lesley is going to the estate that her great aunt left her, Rosalynn Manor. She is determined to make a new life for herself and stand on her own. Then she meets John. John is a widower who is trying to keep his company afloat and take care of his children. While he knows he would like the job restoring Rosalyn Manor he is not so sure working for someone from the city would be a good idea. He has problems with those from the city in the past. Then he meets Lesley. There is an attraction between John and Lesley that can’t be denied. With John having lost his wife and Lesley recently divorced are they ready for a relationship? Will they take a second chance at love? What does their future hold? Read this book to find out. I grew to care about John and Lesley with each chapter that I read. I wanted them to find happiness. The story takes place in a small town whose residents all know each other and care about one another. I enjoyed reading about the additional characters that are introduced and loved reading about their part in the story. The author has created unforgettable characters and a storyline that has you hooked from the start. I would highly recommend reading it.

I enjoyed this book. It is a young adult story about two people who are sent to boarding school. It is a special kind of school, only for the highly talented to go there. I found this book to be a little slow in the beginning but once it picked up, it took off and I had a hard time putting it down. The characters are great and I had no issues connecting with them. This story is about two young adults that seem to be normal until strange things begin to happen to them. They seem to have some special powers and now someone wants them and not for good either. This is an enjoyable story that keeps you engaged. I highly recommend this book.

I have read a few books from this author and she continues to blow my mind. This is the fifth book of the Spicetopia series. You can read this book as a stand alone but there are previous characters in this story as well. I was so excited when I got this book I stopped everything and started to read it immediately and I could not stop until the end. It only took me a few hours to devour this spicy book.
Makenna Oakley is going to be getting married soon. Her maiden of honor decided they are going to take a girl trip to Spicetopia. Makenna has never done something so daring before. She is then forced into a scavenger hunt around the park with a very handsome man Ty. As she gets to know Ty she feels something she has never felt before. Will Makenna roll the dice and see what happens or will she play it safe? Review by @heatherbass
And it continues. This is book 5 out of the series, it can be read as a standalone but I would HIGHLY recommend that you read all of them in order. This series has been fantastic so far and book number 5 is no different. You would think, how many more books can be made around this theme park, and what other stories can be made, but each time I move on to the next one and my mind is blown and I get excited for what this author will come up with next. I really enjoy how each book has a different theme that goes along with each couple. In this book is Makenna and Ty, bride and groom to be… but not to each other. They both happen to have their bachelor and bachelorette parties at Spicetopia, and so it begins. Ty and Makenna are wonderful together, their respective spouses to be, do not match up with either of them. It kind of stinks that both of their respective partners are getting dumped before the wedding but when it is meant to be, it’s meant to be. The interactions between the main characters is everything you could ask for in a book, steamy, funny, romantic, etc. The secondary characters such as Ty and Makenna’s friends are fun, and made the story that much more enjoyable. I can’t wait to see if there will be a book 6!
Dares & Dice by Phoebe Alexander is the fifth book in the Spicetopia series. These can be read in any order but I recommend in the order they’ve been written. The stories focus on a different couple each time, but there are characters which overlap into other books. This book is about a bachelor and a bachelorette party which both are Spicetopia. I honestly did not know where the story would go exactly but ended up liking this book a lot. The bride to be Makenna and the separate groom to be Ty are in Spicetopia for a last hurrah. Will they both find a weekend of fun? This is a quick but fun read and kept me entertained. I always enjoy books by Phoebe Alexander for a nice getaway and look forward to reading more from her in the future.
