I don’t even know how to start this review. I’ve read the other two books in this series and they were so awesome. This book…. Was by far the best book I’ve read in 2020. I’ve read a lot of books this year… this was… phenomenal. I laughed, I cried, I almost vomited… SUCH A GREAT BOOK. I don’t even know where to begin seriously. This was Libby’s book, she’s a badass FBI agent who takes down the bad guy… but then things start to turn south after her amazing bust. I can’t give anything away but read this series. The third book is the best and they were all so amazing. I will literally read the phonebook if Megan Mitcham writes it. *fan girl* 🙂

Who needs sleep? These books will make you forget everything you need to do so warn your family that you’re unavailable. Every single book in this box set is amazing. You can see and read the growth of the author as she gets more in depth with each character as we go. Each book follows a different couple but you do get to see the others in each book. I loved getting to read about the ins and outs of the club and the members. Love all the bikers and how they vow to never get an old lady and then fall head over feet for the most perfect woman for them.
I laughed, I cried, and I swooned with each and every book. Great series, and I will own each of these in paperback one day.

This series isnt at all what I expected it to be. This follows Friday an her at Hero High, which is being filmed as a reality show. A bit of futuristic, a bit of mystery, a bit of YA. I was definitely surprised that I enjoyed this series as much as I did! Plenty of fast paced action and laughs! You cannot go wrong reading this book series!!!

Be Brave with Me: Finding Love in Green Springs, Book One by C.A. Miconi
Everyone deals with their pain in different ways and this couldn’t have been more true with Meg and Drew. They were both angry but they dealt with it in very different ways.
Meg is in the earlier stage of grief and she just can’t seem to get her feet under her after two heartbreaking losses. She ends up in Green Springs and has no intention to stay.
Drew is a life in Green Springs but he too had dealt with grief. He has his life together, good job and his Nana is there for him as well.
This story about two people trying to figure out which path to follow is sweet and touching. I enjoyed this story and I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

I have quickly come to love Tricia Copeland books. Perfect was my first romance novel by her, and it was much different. It is written in a very unique way, and it took me a while to catch on. I don’t want to give anything away so I wont say much about it, but its very different from anything I’ve read before. The story follows Chloe from college, and through the next decade or so. She is an amazing female lead, because she is independent and brilliant and successful. She knows what she wants, and isn’t afraid to go after it, even if it means compromising relationships along the way. She doesn’t have a type, and I actually kind of loved all the men she dated throughout the story. From her high school sweetheart to a college basketball player, fashion industry, to IT. This book gives you a happily ever after, that you didn’t see coming. Or at least, I didn’t see it coming! Read it, you won’t regret it.

Just The Way You Are by Allison M. Lewis was a great modern day fairytale! I felt like I was being transported back in time as a little girl reading some of my favorite fairy tales in this story. This mostly reminded me of The Little Mermaid in the first half of the book, and then changed into its own story in the second half. It was well written, with great characters and a great storyline. I laughed, I cried, I felt like I was right there in between the pages with both Misty and Derrick. I can’t wait to read more from Lewis!

Be Brave with Me (Finding Love in Green Springs Book 1) by CA Miconi was a sweet romance. I was curious about main character Meg after the opening of the book. I wanted to know what happened and what has caused her to run. I got my answer later on. I loved how she began to change in the small town of Green Springs. Drew was also a fascinating character and I loved his personality. He understood Meg immediately after meeting her. He too had been through tragedy and it changed him. Seeing the two interact as they did was beautiful. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to others.

Perfect by Tricia Copeland is a sweet and fun story about one persons journey to find love. I wasn’t too sure about this book when I read the description – I usually like that clear male/female lead characters and this book sounded like it was everything but that. However as soon as I started reading it I enjoyed it. The book has an overall lighthearted feel to it and is an easy book to read. The author does a great job of creating a world in which it feels like you are there with the MC. You really get to see her develop throughout the whole book and find what is means to be her. This was a great book and one I am glad I picked up.
Designing Love by Victoria Grant is the third book in the Calderone Family Romance series. This book can be read as a stand-alone, it does not have to be read in order. This is the first book I have read by this author and I found it to be a highly enjoyable one. It was a well written story that knew how to catch your attention. The characters were a really good match as well. At times I found Caroline to be a little too argumentative – almost like she was doing it for the sake of arguing – but Charles was a great offset to this. It all seemed to work very well and produced a couple that I wanted to see together. Although not the first in the series it was an easy book to get into and follow and has definitely piqued my interest. I will be going back to read the first two books.

Bryer and Nathan have been through a lot…and are finally at a place where their relationship is on solid ground. They are moving on from their pasts…until Bryer’s past starts contacting her. Nathan knows this is not a good sign and vows to protect Bryer at all costs. However, through the use of the manipulation that Cash is known for, he gets Bryer to come to him…willingly. What follows causes both Bryer and Nathan to question just how solid their relationship is and what the future holds for them. We are left with another cliffhanger…which makes me excited to read the next book.
I found myself, once again, intrigued by how the story will play out. The vulnerabilities and emotions displayed by both of the main characters can seem too much at times…but they are real. This is how real people feel in relationships. And the secondary characters, again, help push the story along while hinting at their own story that could be brewing. I will definitely be checking out the next book to see what happens next!

A High Price To Pay is the second book in the Madeline Dawkins series. If you haven’t already I would definitely recommend reading the first book in the series beforehand. Madeline is back working as an events coordinator, but also trying to get her PI business off the ground with her friend and partner Mike. Madeline is a great main character, she’s strong and feisty, yet real and vulnerable too. She has suffered in the past, which she is still coming to terms with, but it just makes her more relatable. Like the first book this story is full of action to keep you hooked and wanting to find out what happens next. The story is full of tense moments and mysteries to be solved. The characters all have a lot of substance to them which I love, and you can tell the author has done a lot of research which really pays off in the details of the story which really bring it to life. Looking forward to reading the next instalment.

I was absolutely blown away by Be Brave With Me, and I definitely recommend it! It caught my attention from the first page and i just could not put it down! This is a box set that includes three books from the ‘Hero High’ series, Denial, Anger and Bargaining. The series is centred around, Friday Fitzsimmons who is one of the “One in a Thousand People on Planet Earth who have a Supernatural Power”. Friday is sent to ‘Hero High’, a school for the supernaturally gifted to train. The school is in the glamorous Icon City, a haven for all those with supernatural powers. However Hero High is not just a school for trainee superheroes it is also a reality TV show and one of many on the Hero Channel. As a ‘gifted’ student Friday has to take part in a reality TV show where good fights evil for the city’s soul. However not all the students use their powers for good, like the mysterious masked boy or the man on fire who calls himself The Figure In The Flames. Along with friend Jake, Friday struggles to come to terms with her new situation and her new powers all whilst battling her crippling anxiety. Luckily Friday has Captain Fantastic on her side. Each book is a short read but packed full of adventure, with a fast paced storyline and each book continues Friday’s adventures at Hero High. I have come to love Friday over the three books and think she is a great lead character as she is very likeable and relatable as a character especially as she battles with acute anxiety. The world building is great and thanks to the authors wonderful descriptions I felt totally immersed in Icon City and Hero High. I thoroughly enjoyed all three books and found that as it was a box set I could just continue with Friday’s story in the next book straight away.

I have absolutely loved all the inclusions of this Anthology, Hansel & Gretel (Down the Rabbit Hole). Who doesn’t love enjoying the chance to take a piece of their childhood and discover a grown up way to read our favorites. I love this book as it gave me a chance to take a moment and enjoy so many twists to a classic that has always been an all time favorite of mine. I enjoy the fact that each author has such a distinct voice that comes across and makes you feel as if you’re stepping into a whole new world with each novel. This one did include some authors that I didn’t know I was missing in my life. I will now have a whole set of new authors to discover outside the anthology and that is a win win situation for all involved. I loved all of the short reads available but the ones by Lorah Jaiyn, and Jess Bagnall, so those will be the ones I have decided to start devouring their libraries first. I look forward to seeing if this is the beginning of a set of anthologies that will make our old fairytale favorites come to life for us again. Happy reading!

I have really enjoyed all the Stalker Series from Megan Mitcham so far and the latest installment of, How, is not an exception to the rule. I love how Mitcham writes romantic suspense. The flow and the suspense is always so well balanced that I feel as if I am reading a story and viewing the movie right before my eyes. This one has to be one of my favs of the series though as I grew close and invested in the main character even more so and the supporting cast as well. This book will want to demand your full attention from beginning to end so I recommend giving yourself a solid day to devour it the way you will so desire.
In How we get to follow the FBI Special Agent Libby Irish as she struggles to prove her worth as a woman in a field overstocked with men and manly sexiists. She is forced to take time off until an scandalous, well some say so, picture surfaces. During that time things are anything but a vacation and a stalker begins to mess with Libby in some disturbing ways. She suspects her creepy neighbor may be the culprit but ends up not so much and these two will develop more than a strong team to battle the issues at hand. The romance was a nice break up with the suspense. I can’t wait to see what Megan Mitcham has up her sleeves next!

This is my first read by Victoria Grant and this is also the third book in her Calderone Family Romance Series. I didn’t struggle with not having read the others but I look forward to seeing what the other books are like now that I finished them. These novels revolve around a sexy set of rich brothers in the Caldrone Family. In this novel we get to follow the smexy Charles, a dedicated architect, and what happens when Carolyn has to work together to design a new office building. Things takeoff and a comedy and romantic story that follows. I loved the push and pull between Charles and Carolyn they did seem to come across as meant for each other eventually and their banter keeps things light hearted and fun as you read. I look forward to seeing who we will meet next in the family and getting my hands on those other novels that came before. Always is a bonus when I find a new author that I enjoy as it seems to open a whole new world of reading for my nerdy self to devour. I can’t wait to see what will come next for the family and who we will get to meet. I am also about to go one-click the previous books asap!

Book 1 Denial Welcome to the School for the Power People. Hero High provides all the things the students need. This is a different type of school you are used to. These high school students are told what to wear, as the school provides the clothes. The students are followed around by cameras and are told who they are to date. That being the case, they are paid for this. Good or bad the money is to help out their families. That is all I will tell you! No spoilers!
Book 2 Anger Hero High is at it again. Follow along as you meet Figure in Flames and Dr. Dangerous. You will join in with new characters as the team and start a new adventure. The main characters stay in the back as they know they are being watched. Come on into the superstructure, just be careful! I refuse to give you any spoilers as I feel you will enjoy the story.
Book 3 Bargaining This is a Young Adult fantasy story. This book should be read after Denial and Anger. Bargaining picks up where Anger left off. You are in the future built around the fantasy world. By reading the in order, you will become familiar with all of the characters. You will also find growth, as Friday tries to figure out what she really wants. Remembering Friday is also still being watched and is trying to lay low.
Mina Chara has continued to keep the YA’s entertained with this series. All 3 books are fast read, with plenty of excitement. They are a must read, loaded with fantasy and adventure. Included are the superheroes, all while keeping them reading. Big props to Mina Chara for encouraging teens to read. Adults would also enjoy this series as well. I have truly enjoyed this series. I will also be looking for more, to share with my teens.

Arrows Tipped with Honey (Natural Forces Book 2) by Jean Gill. I recommend reading these in order as this one continues from the first. I was definitely pleasantly surprised by my love for this story because this isn’t my normal reading but this author really has a gem of a story here. It’s got a little bit of everything I’d like in a story and it’s very original and unique. This story had a way of coming alive right before my eyes be even the smallest details are so well written you picture everything happening as you read. The characters pulled me in completely and I was definitely a bit say when I reached the end. It’s a well written story that’s paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I can’t wait to see what else this author has to offer because if it’s as good as these I know I’m in for a good story. Four big stars and highly recommended!

Perfect by Tricia Copeland. This is the story of Chloe who is a super hard working sophomore in college pursuing a business degree. She loves fashion and wants to work in that field. She has a long distance high sweetheart but she is done with that relationship and wants to move on. She has just meet a hunky basketball player when her ex boyfriend proposes she doesn’t know what to do. Deciding to just pursue her career she becomes a rising star in the fashion industry and she meets several other men but none of them stick. While she continues to do well in her career she just wants someone to share life with. Who will Chloe choose to spend her life with or will she just continue to be successful in her career? I loved this story and the multiple choice ending is Perfect!
Designing Love is the first book in The Calderone Family Romance seriesby Victoria Grant. This is my first read from Ms. Grant, and as I have been known to do- I jumped on board the series part way through. Luckily this book, and series, can be read as standalones. I discovered a sassy contemporary romantic comedy with enough drama, banter, and antics to keep me entertained. The characters are realistic and believable- they are fully developed with their own unique personalities, quirks and flaws. Caroline drove me crazy with her temper, somewhat aggressive assertiveness, and argumentative manner. I found it a little hard to connect with her because of my frustrations. But the story was well written, and I liked Charles, so those things kind of balanced the experience for me. I am curious about the other characters who are a part of this series- and will probably go back to read the other two books so I can familiarize myself with them and their stories. So, if you like strong sassy female leads, drama, power struggles, and romantic comedy- then you will want to add ‘Designing Love’ to your library. Happy Reading!

Night Justice is the first instalment in a stellar new series by India Kells. Ms Kells is one of my favourite authors, and I can always count on her to deliver an enthralling read. The premise of this story grabbed me right from the get-go. The whole vigilante justice angle mixed with plenty of action, an investigative reporter, danger, the underworld, and a new deadly drug- what’s not to love. Right? This book/series is a bit of spin-off from the Purgatory series- with characters, and references to events from Women of Purgatory. You don’t need to have read that series to enjoy this book- but I highly recommend reading them anyway- because not only are they fantastic stories- I think knowing what happens there will give you a much better understanding of the background events that propelled the whole “vigilante’ angle- and I think that would really elevate this reading experience for you. At the very least I think you should read “Breaking Point” (Woman of Purgatory Book #4- Novella). As expected, Ms. Kells weaves palpable suspense, tension, intrigue, and drama- holding my attention throughout this engrossing story. Really looking forward to the rest of the series!

I loved this short story. It is a steamy story that I read in one sitting. I was pulled into this story right from the beginning. I had no problems connecting with the characters as they brought the story to life. This is a story about a woman who was dumped and after a few months decides it’s time for a night out. This is where she meets Mayium. He is hot, steamy and sexy. Now she has one night, one stranger and some secret desires just waiting to be fulfilled. I don’t regret picking up this book and neither will you. You don’t want to miss this one. I highly recommend this book.

I enjoyed this book. This is my first book by this author and I look forward to reading more from her. This is a well written story that I found to be engaging and fast paced. I had no problem connecting to the characters as they made the story come to life. This is a story about the rules you set for yourself and realizing that sometimes they are meant to be broken. Caroline has made her career the most important thing in her life. She has one rule, no relationships but when she is selected for a new job will Charles change her mind? Charles is the VP of his family business. He knows that there is more to his life than just work. When he meets Caroline, he can’t seem to get her out of his head. Will he get her to break her rule? These are great characters that I enjoyed from beginning to end. I enjoyed the banter back and forth which kept me turning pages. I found myself wanting them to have a happy ever after. I highly recommend reading this book to find out if fate lets them get the happiness they deserve.

I loved this unique storyline. India Kells is a favorite of mine already, and this start to a new series had me hooked from the first chapter.
Orla is a noted Investigative reporter, she is trying to get to the bottom of a suspected Vigilante in her city. Another story falls on her desk and she decides to put the Vigilante on the back burner while she tries to figure out how to stop the distribution of a new drug in her city that has been known to kill people.
I love how the author merged Orla’s two stories together and watching these unfold had a lot of edge of your seat reading.
Although it did not end on a huge throw your kindle kind of cliff hanger, the story will continue and I can not wait to see how this all plays out.
This was a quick read which I was able to devour in one sitting and I highly recommend grabbing it.

I loved reading the book Designing Love (The Calderone Family Romance Series Book 3) by Victoria Grant. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. I loved the characters of Caroline Winters and Charles Calderone. Caroline is intelligent, independent, and strong. She is determined to be the best at her job and that includes being the lead designer for the Calderone Industries office complex. She also has a no relationship rule. Meeting Charles has her rethinking that rule. Charles is a man who works for the family business. He is finding it hard to concentrate on the new complex, all he can seem to think about is Caroline. Sparks fly when they are in the same room. What does the future hold for Caroline and Charles? Will they successfully finish the office project? Will they end up falling in love? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had my emotions going up and down. I enjoyed reading about the bantering that goes back and forth between Charles and Caroline as well as the other additional characters that are introduced. I found myself caring about what happens to Caroline and Charles and wanted them to find happiness. I loved that Caroline is feisty and sassy and that Charles is someone who wants their relationship to work. Don’t miss out on an amazing story with wonderful characters. I highly recommend reading this book.

The story Eat Me (Mayim Merman Book 1) by Amber Dark is a paranormal/erotica book. It is a story that has steamy scenes that make the temperature in the room rise. I loved reading about the character of Mayim. He handsome, sexy, and talks dirty. Can he help the main character let go of the pain of an ex? Will they break all the rules? Read this book to find out. This story includes passion and desire. Secret desires are indulged, and pleasure is enjoyed by both main characters. The book will have you reaching for a glass of cold water. Will this story have a happy ending? Don’t miss out on a steamy read that you will not be able to put down until you have read the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

Be Brave With Me by CA Miconi and J.B.Havens Five Stars
Be Brave With Me is the first book in the Finding Love in Green Springs series by J.B. Havens and CA Miconi. This series is going to be both heartbreaking and heartwarming if this first installment is any inclination. This book had me on an emotional roller coaster. I have to say this is the first book of the year that left me with a book hangover. I had to have a box of tissues on hand. The main characters, Meg and Drew, are both broken and dealing with loss. I would highly recommend this book and look forward to reading the next book in this series. Review by @sunbarn

This is the story of Meg and Drew who both had pretty life changing events happen to them and while they are dealing with the emotions that come with it they find each other, but can they deal with their pasts to make a happy future or will their depression tear them apart? My emotions were put through the ringer with this book, the authors gave us a story that holds your attention and doesn’t want to let go even after the book was done.

This is an amazing fairytale story with a difference. The difference is the princess has a disability. It is amazing written and is a story which puts the message across that no disability should stop you following your dreams.
Misty is a princess, she longs to see the world and meet her prince charming like every other princess. However, her parents keep her locked up for her own protection because she has a disability. Misty is tired of being stuck in so she leaves and after striking a deal she goes to meet her prince charming.
Derrick is prince of the neighbouring region. He meets Misty and falls in love with her. Even when he finds out about her disability he still loves her and wants to be with her. The only problem is their parents have been enemies for years.
Can this couple’s love overcome all the anger and bring their parents together? Can they actually become a happy family?
