Just the Way You Are by Allison M. Boot is a magical fantasy story that is wonderful and tells the tale of a young princess with a disability that doesn’t stop her. It is a sweet adventure as we journey along with her and her love. This story is well written, and the characters are likable. Allison’s words give us a vivid view of the world she has created. This story is not one to be missed.

This was a great story that I enjoyed from beginning to end. I didn’t want to put this one down! It was well written and I immediately got sucked into this urban fantasy world. This story had lots of action and suspense and of course a really sexy vampire. What more could a girl want?? This story follows Zariya Chanji and her quest to find the truth behind her father’s death. She believes he was murdered and she will stop at nothing to find the truth. The deeper she goes the more dangerous it gets! Will she survive long enough to find out what happened to her father? Or will she end up in the same place he did? I really enjoyed this and I am very much looking forward to reading more in this series and by this author! Happy Reading!

Seeing Satan’s Devils MC Boxset (Books 1 – 5)had released, I knew I needed to re-read these stories. I have followed the Satan’s Devils through the entire series, as well as the new chapters, and second generation books, this got me remembering how I started this series on Book #6 so long ago and at that time how I quickly realised that this was one series I would want to follow closely and going back and grabbing the first 5 books to explore too- and how I have been avidly following along with each new release ever since. I must admit that I am not a huge fan of MC romance- or should I say, I wasn’t until I read Ms. Mellett’s work. She brings just the right amount of emotion and vulnerability to her characters- whilst still delivering all the elements and characteristics you could expect from a well written and complex MC story/series. These first five books cover all kinds of topics, from disability, sex-trafficking, racism, dealing with grief, overcoming obstacles, and more. The stories are woven with plenty of emotion, danger, drama, suspense, some mystery, plenty of camaraderie, banter, and of course some sizzling romance.
This boxset contains: –Turning the Wheel (Satan’s Devils MC Book #1) –Drummer’s Beat (Satan’s Devils MC Book #2) –Slick Running (Satan’s Devils MC Book #3) –Targeting Dart (Satan’s Devils MC Book #4) –Heart Broken (Satan’s Devils MC Book #5)
Each book can be read as a standalone and not feel like you are ‘lost’ or missing out on anything. But after reading this one, you may find you have developed a taste for Ms. Mellett’s stories and will find yourself wanting to go back and read all the other books too. I loved going back to the beginning of this series and remembering how it all began, seeing a lot of the characters we’ve come to love over the course of the series- and ‘re-connecting’ with them all over again. If you love a really well written, riveting MC story- with complex, flawed, quirky, and endearing characters, and an original plot- then this is definitely the books/series for you.

Night Justice is the first book in A Chicago Vigilante series by India Kells. India Kells is one of my go to authors and this book is my new favorite. This book had me reading long into the night and I couldn’t put it down until I read the last page. It was well worth my lost sleep. This dark thriller is full of action, adventure, mystery, and romance. The characters were well defined and very relatable. Orla Karlsen is a reporter who goes undercover to save the city from a new drug that could destroy it. The Vigilante is a dark savior who is catching bad guys, when the two meet sparks fly. Both have issues with trust, which can lead to death or glory. I can’t wait to get my hands on the second book in this series.

Arrows Tipped with Honey (Natural Forces Book 2) by Jean Gill
This book took me on an intriguing adventure. This is the second book in this series and it is my suggestion that these books be read in order for better understanding and enjoyment. I was pulled into this story from the beginning and couldn’t put it down. There is suspense, danger, and wonderful characters in this wonderfully told story. The author did an exceptional job making me feel like I’m going along for the adventure because it was written with vivid detail and the emotions were jumping off the pages. I was left with the questions that I’m hoping will be answered in the next book. I cannot wait to read the next one. I recommend reading this book.

Arrows Tipped With Honey is the second book in the Natural Forces series. I was captured by the title and blurb and didn’t realize that this was part of a series at first. You will definitely want to read the first book before you read this one!
This story has a solid blend of fantasy, action, intrigue, danger, and romance. It also has a bit of a dystopian feel to it with the nature vs. civilization components. I enjoyed the unique characters and the amazing world that the author built for them.
Arrows Tipped With Honey was not a “quick” read for me. It has a lot of layers so you will want to take your time with it. You definitely don’t want to pass up a chance to read this series!

Night Justice (A Chicago Vigilantes Novel Book 1) by India Kells. I love India Kells and this book was no different. I started reading thinking I would read a few chapters and go to sleep, think again, I stayed up until 2am and the book was finished! Its soo good. Its the story of Orla Karlsen a Chicago Reporter who has found out about a new drug that is about to take their city by storm and not in a good way. She decides to go underground to investigate and meets a Vigilante who is trying to fight to protect the city whatever it takes. Meaning if its illegal they will still do it to save the right people. He is working to take down the people trying to bring this drug into the city and he’s following her to see if she can help him. Once they meet they decide to work together and during that time there is an electricity between them. Once they give in to it they can’t stay away from each other. Orla develops feelings for the Vigilante and she is trying to find out who he is. Will she decide to trust her heart or play it safe. Will the Vigilante stop the people bringing the drug in or will he die trying? The Vigilante and Orla’s chemistry is off the charts and I’m rooting for them to make it. Can’t wait for the next book!

4-Stars
SPOUSE TRAP: Madeline Dawkins Mysteries (The Madeline Dawkins Series Book 1) by Cynthia Hamilton was an intriguing and exciting read. Madeline is accused of cheating when her husband shares pictures of her having a so called affair. Madeline claims something fishy occurred and that she did not. So much more was behind what really happened.
I felt that the story easily pulled me in as a reader with the opening scene. Madeline was overwhelmed and trying to figure out what was going on. This scene easily transitioned into her trying to figure it out. I was amazed with her character and the development she experienced as the story progressed. It was easily enjoyable and realistic. Great read!

I had emotions for all the characters we’re supposed to. There are some background characters that weren’t mentioned much- but I have a feeling, they’ll be in the future novels. I knew I wanted to read this from the synopsis, and I was not disappointed. Great word building and plots that balance out. Honestly, I couldn’t put it down.

This was a book full of drama, action, suspense and romance, it also has a sassy heroine and a strong hero who’s chemistry sizzled off the page and led to plenty of steamy scenes. I was hooked from page one, reporter Orla Karlsen is determined to track down and prevent the distribution of a new drug in Chicago. She is even prepared to enter the underworld of Chicago, however she’s not alone as the ‘Vigilante’ has also sworn to protect the city. Their common quest sees the reporter and the masked man working closely together and sparks start to fly but when they both enter dangerous territory will they fight together or apart. No spoilers, this was an exciting read and I thoroughly recommend this first novel in India Kells new series.

Night Justice by India Kells is the first book in the Chicago Vigilante Series. This book is dark and suspenseful and so exciting. It had me on the edge of my seat so many times, quickly turning pages, desperate to find out what was going to happen. The story is so well developed, and I loved the fact it gave me a “Batman” type feel to it. I was gripped by this book the whole way through and really didn’t want it to end. I am excited to see what else is to come from this series!

Hero High: Figure in the Flames by Mina Chara is a unique and interesting story, looking at the idea of “super heroes” in a different way. This is the boxed set of the first 3 books in this series. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I read the blurb of this book – I figured I was either going to love it or I really wasn’t. Thankfully I can honestly say I loved it. I really enjoyed that it was a different take on a super hero story as more exciting to read and gave the book a new depth to it. The characters were all really interesting as they were all so different from each other. This is a well written and fun series to read. I would definitely recommend it!

This was a great fast paced story that i couldnt put down.
Madeline has a life most women dream of. She’s rich, has a beautiful home and a wealthy and successful husband.
However all that changes when she wakes up in a hotel room, naked and alone. She thinks she just got drunk and stayed the night but the truth is so much worse. When her husband brings proof of her cheating on him that night she is devastated as she doesnt remember a thing. Did she willingly do that or was something else entirely.
As she starts investigating she realises nothing is what she thinks and her husband who she thought loved her is a nasty piece of work.
She now has to fight to save her life as she knows it and to prove all the gossip wrong.

Finding Leda: The Science of Happiness is the first book in the Italian College series, part of Gaia B. Amman’s The Italian Saga. The saga follows Leda from childhood to adulthood, through relationships and friendships, studies and travels as she grows up. In Finding Leda, we see Leda starting college to study Biotech. Determined to move on from a bad relationship, Leda welcomes a fresh start. Her social group at college is determined more by her carpool group and choice of seat on the first day than anything else, leading to an interesting mismatched group. She gets a blast from the past when she finds that Claudio, a boy she went to middle school with, is now two years ahead of her and, somehow, less evil than she remembered. In this series, I particularly like the characters who are always there, in the background. Boyfriends come and go, but people like Starry, Leda’s mum, and Lexi, her best friend, are always ready to come back on the scene when Leda needs them. It’s interesting seeing their relationships develop. Another thing I particularly like in this book is seeing Leda muddling her way through the sciences, as someone who had previously mostly studied literature. Having already read some of the later books, when Leda seems pretty confident as a scientist, seeing her struggling to get to grips with a whole host of ideas and processes is interesting (and not just because I learnt a lot about science on the way!) For me, this is a four star book. I’m enjoying the series, and would recommend it to fans of coming-of-age stories that span a long duration (I feel like I bring up Adrian Mole every time I review one of Amman’s books but seriously, if you liked Adrian Mole and feel like Adrian could have been a bit more female and Italian, you’ll love this).

I’m so confused. I don’t read these kinds of books on a normal basis, but something drew me to this and I’m so hooked right now wanting the second in this series like right now!
I’ll admit that since I haven’t read a lot of Fantasy, many of the terms were foreign to me. This in no way though took away from how much I enjoyed this story. It was short, I read it in about an hour but it felt like a full length novel full of all kinds of information that leads me to believe this is going to be an awesome series. Although it moved quickly, it never felt rushed. Emphasis was put in all the right places and it didn’t leave me wishing there was more except wanting the next.
I’ve read a couple stories by this author, and completely enjoyed them, which was one of the reasons I took a chance. I enjoyed the well placed humor in some spots that made me smile, then the edge of your seat action thinking in some spots maybe I knew what was going on, but completely unsure at the same time. I love the characters, Zariya was on a mission and she wasn’t about to be deterred from that. What she got while exploring this was all sorts of fun. I loved the underlying feel of a romance building, yet never fully forming..Yet? I loved the feel of friendship that was being tested and hope that all of that works out in the end. I loved the family feel as well and Auntie was definitely a favorite of mine. So although this didn’t end on a kindle throwing cliff hanger, there are so many questions I can’t wait to receive answers on.
Seriously..Grab this, it is truly an amazing book!

Hansel & Gretel (Down the Rabbit Hole) By Amy Allen (Author), CeeCee Elaine (Author), Jess Bagnall (Author), Lorah Jaiyn (Author), Erin Lee (Author), Rachel Pudsey (Author), Debra Parmley (Author) 5 out of 5 stars
This is a wonderful anthology that has different authors retelling the story of Hansel and Gretel. I loved reading every one of the stories. The authors have done an amazing job of making the characters in each story come alive. I felt like I was right there with them. The stories included deception, danger, and some gave me a scare. I love anthologies because I get to read stories by authors that I am familiar with as well as being introduced to new authors as well. The stories pulled me in and I didn’t want to put them down until I had read the final page. These stories also have emotional and romantic moments. I found this group of stories to be entertaining and intriguing. There were times when I would say to myself “that didn’t just happen, did it?” The authors have done an amazing job of writing their version of Hansel and Gretel. I would highly recommend reading these stories.
This is an exciting read full of action and crime taking you to a world similar to our own but with a twist. A reporter is on the bend to help the city overcome drugs. There’s also a guy called Vigilante issuing his own dose of justice to those perps but he’s been using Orla Karlsen, the reporter, to get the info he needs to prevail. The two must work together to dismantle the dishonesty, influence and viciousness. The more Orla learns about the man behind the mask, the more she wants to help him. As she realizes his true intentions for the love of the city, she waivors her past assumptions. Allegiances and aspirations are challenged when they give into the unquestionable temptation of one another as they can’t fight how they feel. Orla has given her heart and body to Vigilante but fights to gain his assurance. There’s so much on the line as Vigilante doesn’t know what to trust — the bond he created with her or to protect his own secrets by sacrificing her? This was a great read with steamy scenes and action that keeps your heart racing. The mystery of which way Vigilante will turn will keep the suspense pounding.

Satan’s Devils MC Boxset Books 1-5 by Manda Mellett filled with five-star reads. I have loved all of the stories I have read by Manda Mellett, she just brings the MC alive, I had read later stories in this series but somehow missed these, so it was a treasure to be able to go back and start from the beginning and get to know the characters I had fallen for even more, getting to see what made each of the tick. I adored each of the stories but I do have to admit that Turning Wheels was my favourite, I don’t know why maybe it was Sophie, or maybe it was Wraith as he just has this sense of protection that all of the Devils do, but his was so much deeper. But Heart Broken came a very close second, I nearly though that one broke me, I am woman enough to admit I cried a little at that one, but I am also woman enough to admit I cried a little at some of the others, as you get so emotionally invested in these stories, that’s why Manda Mellett has fast become an author I can’t ignore when her writing drops on my kindle.

I loved this book. This is the 3rd book in the series and can be read as a standalone. Although, I would recommend readers to read the first two books as well because they’re really good too. This books kept me in edge, biting my nails because I was on the edge. It is well wirtten and I loved the attention to detail. This story is very fast paced and I was egar to see what was going to happen. I would recommend this abyine to that liked thriller novels. This one is worth read and I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future! Happy Reading!

If you like well written romantic drama that just happens to involve a motorcycle club, Mellett is your author and this box set is a must read. Each book is a spellbinding tale on its own and they read well when taken individually. But the universe is so much richer when the books are read collectively. I promise once you read one you will want to read them all. So this box set is a must read and must buy. Mellett is incredibly gifted and I gladly one click everything she writes.

This latest book from Kells was one I knew I would love. And I was SO right. Just an amazing detailed ride full of action, suspense, and romance with that just the right amount of darkness seeping in. Kells has an eye for detail that provides the reader with a beautiful tapestry that is a feast for the soul. She is absolutely a one click author and Night Justice is another wonderful example of her masterful writing skill. Loved every page and will definitely recommend highly.
