Toya Richardson is a new author to me. Sweet Salvation is a great introduction to her writing story. Her story has a fast pace plot line. The details are abundant which makes it easy to paint a picture in your mind. Her characters make the story come to life. I found myself lost within the pages. Manuela craves a human life. She leaves the Protectors community to live among the humans. She finds out that was not a good idea. Will Manuela navigate in the human world or will be her undoing? I highly recommend this book.

This is my first time reading anything by this author, and I love the writing style and the flow of these stories. These were seriously tough stories to read, but written so well and although I don’t have a lot of knowledge about these subjects I feel as though I understand them just a bit more after reading more about them. I imagine these two young women suffer from things that are a reality to people around the world, and my emotions were all over the place while reading.
The first novella dealt with a young girl Tess, who is dealing with Schizophrenia brought on by the death of her brother. My heart broke for Tess, she went through so much to deal with everything going on in her mind, tried everything to make it all go away. The guy she loves doesnt love her in quite the same way and bad decisions lead to something horrible happening.
I found myself pulling so hard for Tess, she truly was amazing and I wanted her so badly to find her way. I LOVED Ed and Monique in this story. They both genuinely loved Tess and she was so blessed to have great parents and a huge support system. I feel weird saying I loved this story but I did, it was very heartfelt and written with so much care.
The second Novella was even harder than the first, I had a really hard time with it and that stems I think from just not understanding the disease. My emotions struggled a lot during this one and although it ended as it should have it still made me really sad.
I will absolutely be looking for more books by this author. Although the subjects were tough they were written very well.

4 Star Releasing Her Power Within (Fae Shifters Book 1) by Madilynn Dale Releasing Her Power Within is the first book in the Fae Shifters Series By Madilynn Dale. This is a new author to me and it’s her debut album. I’m going to be honest I had a hard time getting into the story but once I did I couldn’t put it down only because I had to know what happens next. I feel like it fell just a bit short for me. I wanted more and it just wasn’t there. Again if I’m being honest this isn’t my normal go to genre. But I do enjoy reading from time to time. The characters are great, well developed and like I said the storyline fell a bit short. Liz is a over worked Physical Therapist Assistant who finds herself leaving her current job to move to the cabin left to her from her mother and taking a new job. What she finds is the new house and the surroundings reveal a story she wasn’t expecting. Will she find the answers ? What does the future look like? Will she get answers to her heritage and the cabin ? Find out what happens next. I’ll recommend this book all in all it was a good book .I do look forward to reading more from this Author I’m curious as to where this series is going.

Every Last Psycho: A Collection of Two Novellas by Zarina Macha is YA fiction- with darker elements, drama, sensitive subjects, and emotion. I loved the cover, and thought the premise of this book sounded quite intriguing, so I snapped up a copy to explore. The book contains two novellas, “Every Last Thought” which follows Tess- and “Psycho Girl”which focuses on Evelyn. The stories are a little darker than I anticipated- which should have been right up my alley- but because they were such short stories, I think they fell short of the initial promise that they held. In my opinion, I really think the ‘topics’ needed to be ‘fleshed out more’- the darker elements needed more time to ‘simmer’ and garner the depth and impact they might have otherwise had- but instead fell a little short due to trying to make the stories ‘fit’ in a smaller amount of space. I would love to see what they could become given more room to ‘grow’. Will definitely check out her next book/s though.

With this being the authors debut novel, I cant wait to watch her grow and read all her stories to come. Liz was someone I could see being friends with, she was sweet, down to earth but also doesn’t take any heat from anyone and stands up for herself. Cam was so sweet and I knew deep down something else was happening and I loved the way we find it out. Liz is given the shocks, yes multiple, of a lifetime in a span of a couple days and she takes it way better than I ever would. But after that ending I need the next book, like yesterday! Great read and cannot wait to see what happens next.

Georgia Clay Georgia Clay by KG Fletcher is book one of the Southern Promises series. This is the first book I have read by this author and I was nothing short of blown away!
Katie Parker is a self-proclaimed workaholic, climbing the corporate ladder, she’s proud of how far she’s made it. She makes a deal with her best friend and attends her ten year high school reunion. Boy is she glad she went because while she’s there she runs into Clay Watkins and he looks so handsome after all this time.
Clay couldn’t have planned it any better when he ran into Katie. He’s happy to see her after all these years and proposes they spend more time together. After spending the entire night talking, neither of them know what’s next but they know they want to see more of each other. Eventually, Katie’s presence in his life gives him the encouragement to take this next big step in his career. Will it change everything about their relationship or will it make them closer than ever?
I fell in love with Clay as soon as I met him. I picture a southern gentleman with quite the southern accent and he is just absolutely swoon worthy. Katie is definitely a strong female character and while she faces some tough choices, I think she made the right call, even if it went against her gut at first. I absolutely loved his book and can’t wait to read book two of the series. This book is a must read for me!
Georgia on my Mind Georgia on my Mind by KG Fletcher is book two of the Southern Promises series. This book is the story of Hart and Gia. I loved this book as much as the first book in the series. I couldn’t put it down and finished it pretty quickly. The characters feel like real people. You meet them and you are instantly drawn into their story.
Gia is passionate about dance but unfortunately her studio isn’t doing so well and she feels like she is drowning in her debt. Because of this, Gia has a second job as a Marilyn Monroe impersonator. This is how Hart and Gia first meet.
Hart is swearing off women since his last hookup cost him his prestigious job in DC. When Hart runs into Gia at a party for a friend, there is just something about her that draws Hart in.
Will their paths cross again? Will they fight for each other and their happiness? Read their story and see if they can put their unfortunate situations aside and allow themselves to be happy.
These characters faced real problems that they had to try to overcome, especially if they want to be together. I was sucked into their story and by the end, felt like I knew them. I absolutely loved this book!
Georgia Pine Georgia Pine by KG Fletcher is book three of the Southern Promises series. This book can be read as a standalone but the first two books are so good you should just read them too. This book is Tim and Jessica’s story and I couldn’t put it down until I read the whole thing.
Jessica pictured her life being a certain way and a divorce is not what she pictured. As she’s coming to terms with what that means for her and her young children, Tim walks into her life and forges a bong with her and her daughters that she certainly wasn’t expecting. Jessica doesn’t realize though that Tim has a secret and isn’t necessarily who she thinks he is. Tim knows he needs to tell Jessica the truth but life has been much easier living where no one knows his true identity. He knows they are growing closer which only reaffirms what he knows he needs to do. Can Tim trust Jessica? Can they each open their hearts to something that might be great for them?
I absolutely loved this book. I loved witnessing the bond Tim was forming with Jessica’s daughters. I wasn’t expecting some of the events in the book but it just made it that much better. This book may have been my favorite of the whole series!

I have never had a negative experience reading anything from Manda Mellett and this second novel of the second generation in the Satan’s Devils MC is no exception to the rule.I would recommend that you go and start with book one but I do believe that it could be read as a standalone. I sincerely feel these stories flow together so well though that you couldn’t go wrong following the series as it is laid out. I can’t ever say enough good things about how strong and skilled Mellett is at weaving emotion into her stories in a way that will have you breathless. I just love the characters that we have all grown to love and get small snippets in these books and we see how the world has changed for them. This novel gives us the story of Hawk and Olivia and these two will definitely steal you off of your feet. I couldn’t put this novel down until I had consumed it all and found out how things would turn out for these two. They really show the strength love can be for us and the amazing things that can come of it. I can’t wait to see what will come next in this series and all the other series I have fallen in love with from Manda Mellett!

This is a debut novel from Madilynn Dale and obviously my first time reading her work. I really was drawn into this book from the title and blurb, not so much the cover but I understand this is a debut. I wanted to love this book, fae being the one area of this genre that I do love a lot and was excited to see what world was going to be spun within the pages of this novel. I was a tad disappointed though. I loved how this book was laid out and could see a lot of potential in it but I felt the story line got lost among the details. I struggled to work my way through this and the smooth read that gives me the ability to feel transformed was missing in this novel. The characters were awesome and I would be interested in trying to read this again if a re-edited version in the future or what other work comes from Madilynn Dale.

Have you ever read a book that felt like you were reading something that would actually happen in real life?!? That’s what this story was. It’s not the overly romantic best friend romance one thinks of when they hear of this trope. Instead it was the story of Max and Alex, two friends, who go some real crappy situations that test their friendship and potential romance. There are lies, half-truths, meddling exes, and a second best friend that doesn’t know whether to hug Alex or smack her upside the head for some of the decisions she has made. This is a story of realness and a reminder that people make dumb decisions when they think they are doing what is best for others.
I found myself rooting for Alex and Max (while wanting to knock some sense into them). Their story was entertaining and filled with ups and downs. But at the end of it all, their relationship was build solidly on the friendship they have shared for many years. It’s a reminder that the best relationships are those rooted in friendship. I really enjoyed this story.
Holding Out For You is a fantastic ‘brothers bff’ romance that will have you hooked. The story revolves around Blair, her best friend Charli, her brother Beck and his best friend Ashton. Blair and Beck have a sibling relationship that is stronger than most, after a childhood illness made Beck realise what it would be like to lose his little sister, and he has gone to great lengths to protect her ever since. Ashton has a completely different type of relationship with her, and they are constantly bickering and fighting. But as she’s going to find out, he’s just as protective as her big brother. One night at a beach party things take an horrific turn when Blair’s blind date ends badly, but from this awful situation come new relationships and bonds as Blair and Ashton finally admit their feelings. Of course these things never run smoothly and there are a series of twists and turns ahead of them, and unfortunately a face from the past turns up to potentially cause more hurt. The story is well written and kept me hooked from the start. I love the relationship between Blair and Ashton, but also the potential for a story between Charli and Beck. I would definitely love to hear more from these guys. This was the first time reading a book by Anna Paige, but I’d look out for more in the future.

Zeia Jameson has a gifted way with words and the ability to craft a very vivid and complete tale that feels effortless. This book captivated me from beginning to end. I connected immediately to the storyline and wanted to follow it to know how it would resolve, if there would still be a HEA. The characters are complete and relatable. The storyline moved fluidly. This was a great book, and one I’m thankful to add to my personal library. Buy this quickly – you won’t regret it!
I’m a huge fan of Via Mari and definitely a fan of this series! Via Mari knows how to hook you with every single book! Rise had all the elements that I love in a book. It had suspense, drama, action, and just the right amount of steam! I completely fell in love with Gio and Serena. His family is a powerful mafia family where her family has suffered under his family’s rule. Their chemistry will sizzle the pages but will their love be enough to survives his enemies?
Via Mari knows how to write a book. I have read many book by her but this series completely has me hooked and might be my favorite to date!

Holding Out for You by Anna Paige. This book is amazing. Once I picked it up I could not put it down! Its the story of Blair who has a brother named Becker and they are super close! While growing up Becker’s best friend Ashton was always around but he and Blair hated each other. They have all graduated and gone off to college and come back home as young adults. As Blair and Ashton are around each other as adults things have changed. They are looking at each other in a totally different light! Maybe they need to look at their relationship again and see what happens. Ashton had always had a crush on Blair but couldn’t act on it because of Becker but now they are adults and things are different. This story is amazing. I loved the brother/sister bond was awesome and the romance was hot!

Bargaining (Hero High Book 3) by Mina Chara. This is the continuing story of Hero High and Friday Fitzsimmons and her life. It is better to read these books in order to keep up with the story line. Her friendship with Jake is falling apart and Dr Dangerous is not who she thinks he is. People are starting to put themselves in danger and she doesn’t know what to do. She is trying to find the truth but keeps getting shut down. She has joined the gold team and the producers even are warming up to her and Captain Fantastic still believes in her. She is determined not to give up but is afraid she is going to get in real trouble if she doesn’t watch it. Read Bargaining to find out what happens.

Hawk’s Cry (Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation #2) by Manda Mellett. I LOVE this series! This one hit me hard and it stuck with me for a long time. This is the story of Eli who is the VP for the Satan’s Devils MC and he’s been married to his long time love and they are expecting a baby soon. Eli has the perfect life, or so it seems so why is he unhappy and wanting more? Why does he think he’s missing out on something in life that there is more out there? Liv is doing everything she can to support and trust him but she is also pregnant trying to take care of herself and with Eli shutting her out its so hard. I could relate to the story sooo much because after being married for 24 years you can relate with Eli but you also feel for Liv. Will they work things out or will Eli leave thinking he can find something to make him happier? Read Hawk’s cry to find out!

Throwback is a great book by Zeia Jameson about two people who have drifted apart and are fighting to get back to one another. I have read the Jaded Lily series by this author in the past and I’m a fan of their writing. Livy has had a very hard upbringing and sees relationships and marriage as a waste of time. She is adamant that she will never marry or have children. In fact she doesn’t even want a man in her life. That is, until Jeremy walks into the bar where she works one night and slowly but surely over the next few months starts to pull down the huge walls that she has built around her. But as you know, the path to true love never runs smoothly. This story will take you on an epic rollercoaster journey of emotions that will leave you feeling exhausted. You will be laughing so hard that tears are running down your face then a few pages or chapters later you will have sad tears running down your face. I absolutely adored both Livy and Jeremy. Jeremy is such an absolute sweetheart with so much patience. I admired how he dealt with Livy and her fear of committing to someone. The world needs more men like Jeremy. If you have any doubts about reading this book then throw them away and dig in for a great read.

All The Wrong Reasons was a really lovely contemporary romance read and one that I really enjoyed. I haven’t read anything by this author previously but I really liked her writing style, the attention to detail in the story was excellent and really made it easy to visualise what I was reading and feel the emotions the characters were putting across. I really loved Alex and Max, they had such a good friendship and I enjoyed reading their story as to whether they could take this to the next level. In my opinion I thought they were perfect for each other!! I would definitely recommend this story and I cannot wait to read more from this author again in the future!
Rise (The Larussio Legacy Book 2) by Via Mari is a great continuation to the Larussio Legacy series. There is so much romance, action, and tension. I was so excited for the release, I needed to know what happened next after finishing the first book. I love the tension and the plot. I was glued to the pages and was bummed to finish. I already want to read more.

With the title Southern Promises, I knew this was a great Series. K.G. Fletcher is a great story teller. She draws me into all the stories I have ever read from her. Her settings are picturesque and characters connected. Each story can be a stand alone book but I recommend all three because some of the characters do crossover into the other stories. These are fast paced stories. There are some steamy scenes. These books will let you forget about your problems for a while. I highly recommend this series.

Southern Promises: The Complete Series by KG Fletcher Five Stars
Georgia Clay is the first book in the Southern Promises Series by KG Fletcher. This is the first book I have read by this author, but it definitely won’t be the last. This book flowed from beginning to end. I love the way KG made Clay and Katie down to earth and relatable. I started reading this book and I just couldn’t put it down. It drives my husband crazy when I start laughing out loud, and this book did that many times. I love when a book cam make my emotions show, that is a sign of a great book. I love Country Music and enjoyed the setting of Nashville. Clay is a songwriter and Katie works in the insurance industry, and they went to high school together. When they meet again at a high school reunion. The chemistry is there and they find they enjoy the same interests. I love the secondary characters and they make me wonder if I will see them more in the rest of the series.
Georgia On My Mind is the second book in the Southern Promises Series by K.G. Fletcher. All of the books in this series can be read as standalones. This is my new favorite book by K.G. Fletcher. It is an amazing story I just couldn’t put down. Gia and Hart are great characters that meet in an unpredictable fashion. Their chemistry is off the charts. The story flowed so well, but it was over too soon. The angst and hardships make this book relatable. This series is on my top five list for the year.
Georgia Pine is the third book in the Southern Promises book by K.G. Fletcher. This book had me hooked from the very first page, and I couldn’t put it down until the very last. Jessica is such a strong woman, finding herself on her own taking care of her three daughters. Along comes the sexy gardener, Tim, and the chemistry flairs. The secret that Tim carries may cause problems if he doesn’t come clean to Jessica. The bonding that Tim has with Jessica’s daughter is amazing, and the book has all the feels. This is such a great boxed set by K.G. Fletcher. I highly recommend it and l can’t wIt to see what she will write in the future.

Stage Mom (Romance in Rehoboth Book 6) By K.L. Montgomery 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the story Stage Mom (Romance in Rehoboth Book 6) by K.L. Montgomery. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Larissa Emerson and Mateo Flores. Larissa is a strong, independent woman. She has a special needs daughter who she loves and will always fight that she is treated like any other girl. This includes when her daughter wants to be in a beauty pageant. Mateo is heading up the Little Miss Rehoboth Pageant. He wants to make sure that he doesn’t screw it up. He also finds himself deeply attracted to Larissa. After what has happened in the past Larissa doesn’t feel that she needs to find another man. Then she meets Mateo. These two have an attraction to each other. Will Larissa give Mateo a chance at her heart? What does the future hold for them? Read this book to find out. I loved how Larissa’s character is not afraid to say what she means. I grew to care about what happened to Larissa and Mateo with each chapter that I read. The story also had my emotions going up and down while reading. There are moments when I would laugh and others that touched my heart. This is a book that I would highly recommend reading.

Montgomery – Review by Laura Furuta
I picked this book up out of sheer curiosity. I love children’s books, I read them all the time. My boys are older, but still it was great fun reading this book together. My older one really enjoyed it too.
This is a story of a dog Jake who has to go to a daycare for the first time, and he is very apprehensive about it. He is used to the comforts of his home and his little friends, whom he has befriended at home. One of his friends, the squirrel Neet, comforts him saying he will accompany him to the daycare. Jake is relieved and both Neet and Jake head off to the day care.
Jake finds new friends there and has lot of fun at the daycare. He is well fed and taken care of. He has a great experience. It is a very sweet story everyone can relate to. The apprehension and fear of Jake when he sets off to a new place and the comfort he finds when his friend Neet agrees to go with him are so simply yet beautifully explained. And this is not for Jake alone, isn’t it the problem each one of us face when we go to a new place? And think about the relief which sweeps over us when someone familiar accompanies us?? A beautiful book !!

This steamy read is a page-turner with wonderful characters. Witty and steamy, it’s very entertaining to get through this quick read. I was thoroughly surprised at how much I loved this. I knew it would be hot when the hatred for her husband was as great as her temptation for the young fellow. Sexy and steamy read from start to finish!

Madilynn Dale makes her mark with a fun adventurous story. Her plot line is simple but attention grabbing. Her characters are complex but totally proportionate to the story. Ms. Dale keeps the story moving at all times. I found this to be a fast read for me. I loved Liz. She is one that keeps me cheering her on. There is so much to her heritage that she is going to be learning. She has left her past life to go live in the cabin that her mom left her. There is so much to learn about her heritage. I highly recommend this book. I cannot wait to see what will be coming next.

Wedding War (Romance in Rehoboth Book 5) By: K.L. Montgomery 5 out of 5 stars
The story Wedding War (Romance in Rehoboth Book 5) by K.L. Montgomery is a wonderful romantic comedy. It is a story that pulled me in from the very beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Jason Friday and Hannah Robinson. Jason is intelligent, funny, charming, and handsome. Hannah is smart and beautiful. Both of their family’s business has been open for a long time. Both businesses have a good reputation helping out brides and grooms. There has also been a feud between their families for a very long time. Hannah and Jason have found out that Uber Brides are coming to Rehoboth Beach. Knowing that the days of their family’s business may be numbered Jason and Hannah band together. There is an attraction growing between these two. Will they be able to work together? Will they save their business? Will they take a chance and give in to the feelings they have for one another? Read this book to find out. This is such an entertaining book to read. There are moments that I was smiling and laughing out loud. I grew to care about the characters of Jason and Hannah with each chapter that I read. I also enjoyed reading about how Hannah and Jason interacted/bantered back and forth with each other. There are also characters in the book that have been brought forward from the previous books. It is wonderful to read about them again. This is a wonderful book with amazing and unforgettable characters. Highly recommended.

What a brilliant series i have loved every second of this novel which is packed full of suspense, romance , drama, passion, action and so much more! The character’s are so meant to be together even through there drama you just want to smack them at the back of the head just so they see what they have, but the storyline isn’t that easy. I really couldn’t pull myself away from this novel and I can’t wait to read more from this author I’ve never been disappointed truly amazing!!!

Life’s a Witch by Carrie Pulkinen was a 3 star read. Crimson is a witch, but every time she tries to do a spell it backfires, she’s now in trouble with the witches council and the high priestess has it out for her, so she has a month to sort out her magic before she loses it. Mike is a recovering demon but he still has to pay a debt to Satan every month, when he’s late on his debt Satan gives him the opportunity to get free and clear but can a mistake he makes be forgiven? I really like Mike and Crimson and their interactions in this book are what kept me interested, but in all the book was for from my favourite. I would recommend you read the book for yourself and see what you think.

Southern Promises: The Complete Series is a lovely collections of feel goods stories which are fully of great characters and brilliant writing.
The first story Georgia Clay is a heart warming story of lost loves and can you have second chance on life. The story follows Katie a hard working real estate agent and Clay a songwriter from Nashville and a love and attraction that truly never thought that they would meet again until a ten year reunion offers love another chance. This story is lovely and such great characters who you want to route for, the story can be read as a standalone but this starts the great collection with a bang and you delve into this world and you don;t want to let go.
The second book in this series, Georgia on my mind is a story of chance meeting and instant attraction. This solitary follows Katie’s brother who was introduced within the first book. He was a up and coming Investment Banker but with an indiscretion has caused him to lose everything, his career, reputation and is hiding at Katie’s house. He then decides to go out and that’s were he meets her Marilyn Monroe. Gia has her struggles and as an independent woman she does not need his help but this handsome guy is starting to seep into her heart. This is a great feel good story like them all and I loved the sassy attitude of the character Gia.
The third book is Georgia Pine and whatever happens to the Head Cheerleader. From the outside Jessica’s life is the standard everyone ones to emulate but deep down there are cracks and she is falling into heartache. Until Tim comes along with his rough and nonsense attitude but when he sees this broken smart woman he decides he needs to be involved in her world. This story is about rebirth for both characters and I loved this story the most, although the other stories where brilliant in their own right I felt more drawn to this story.
If you enjoy feel good, heart warming stories with brilliant characters and a well written story I recommend this collection of lovely books. Although they are a set of three you could read them as standalone stories and they would transfer really well but in all honesty you would want to read them straight like did. This is the first books I have read by this author and will not be the last.

All The Wrong Reasons is the first in the Serendipity Falls series by Erin Bevan. If you are a fan of sweet romances, or just need a nice, light hearted, easy read then I would definitely recommend this story. Alex and Max are best friends. They have a wonderful relationship which is easy to feel through the writing. When Alex goes on a night out she hooks up with a guy, hoping to help her move on from her last relationship. Waking up the next day she soon regrets her choice and calls on her best friend to rescue her. A few weeks later Alex finds out she is pregnant, as a teacher in a christian school she knows that the job she loves is now in jeopardy. Max has an obvious solution, to get married to him. The story follows Alex and Max as they negotiate new feelings, and realise that their friendship alone might not be enough to see them through this. I love the way Max treats Alex. It seems to me that he is very much a gentleman, despite his reputation as a ladies man. This is my first book by this author, but I will definitely look out for others in the future
