OMG!! I am head over heels for this series! I have read each book in this series including the prequel and I can’t wait to finish each book! This author has a superpower when it comes to creating characters and just writing in general. Sky just wants to make her best friend Gia’s senior year one to remember and help her check everything off her ridiculous list! Even if it means Sky will have to be the game piece when Gia sets her sights on Damon Savage. What Sky didn’t anticipate was that she would end up falling for Damon behind her best friend’s back. In each book that I read by this author, she has me falling more and more in love with her work!

I cannot say enough about the Bennetts of Langston Falls series. I have loved each and every book so far and this is not an exception. Each book definitely functions as a standalone but I do recommend reading each and every one so that you can get to know this family so much better. This book focuses on Hank Bennet. He loves their family and the small town of Langston Falls. However, he also has a love of music that is bigger than this small town can ever give him. Plus, his band has gone in a different direction (read: not being a band anymore). This finds him at his favorite musicians concert drinking away his sorrows. Enter Ella Mae. She is the beautiful t-shirt slinging merch girl who he is smitten with after they meet. Little does he know that she is also a songwriter who is the sister of that famous musician he just saw on stage. She offers him the opportunity of a life time. Their immediate connection and dialogue had me hooked on them from the beginning. I wanted to see them succeed as a couple. Once Hank met Travis (that wonderful country singer) I definitely felt myself rooting for Hank and his dreams. I definitely wasn’t expecting this book to send me through all the emotions. And I felt each and every emotion when i was reading this. There were times where I was crying and smiling at the exact same time reading this. This book was filled with drama and hope and happily ever after. Hank and Ella Mae contained a chemistry that dreams are made of. I definitely cannot recommend this book enough!!

I’ve been very drawn towards reading memoirs, whether the characters or authors connect within their experiences or thoughts with their readers. Prior to reading this book, I’ve never heard of this author nor was familiar with any of his previous work. I was completely engaged from his experiences and approach on living in the moment and existing in the moment. Heartache and tragedies may challenge us with society making us think we must continue living our lives through thick and thin. These stories have allowed us to feel the moment we are enduring and be ok with that. Time and time again, there are people out there that do not support properly or understand the challenges others face but reading this finally made me feel ok at where I currently stand. I am present in the moment, taking minute by minute.

I read this story with my 6 year old son. He was shocked but also pleasantly surprised by the new twist! He really enjoyed the ending. He’s all for how this ended! Another great twist on a classic by Lois W. We can’t get enough of her stories!
I can’t think of a single thing I didn’t like about this book. There is something to be said about chemistry from the start. I loved the way the storyline played out. Some of the action parts I had to read a couple times to get the full picture mentally but I read this book in one day. I simply could not put it down. I really really really hope Rose and Titans story continues!

This was a really cute story with a great lesson. I read it with my 6 year old son. He is a lot like Hudson in this story. I hope he learned from him. We both enjoyed this story very much.
Many young girls think their daddy hung the moon, but Colleen is convinced that her daddy holds up the sky. Colleen’s dad is a giant and most of the townspeople fear him and think that he’s made up this story about the sky. One day, Colleen decides to host a party and her dad let’s his hands down for awhile. Suddenly, everyone in town becomes concerned and changes their thoughts on how they feel about Colleen’s dad.
This is a very well written story by a favorite author of mine. The illustrations are super brilliant and vivid! The story and it’s “hidden” meaning are great to share with anyone of any age. This book should be on every library shelf, whether in an actual library, daycare, school, etc.

I wasn’t one hundred percent sure what to expect before reading this, but it was certainly worth the read. An inspiring story which must have taken a lot of courage to share with everyone.
I enjoyed how the book was set out, a chapter for each story, and the way it was written spoke to me. It inspired and encouraged self-reflection. It was what I needed to hear without realising it at the time.
Regardless of whether this is something you feel you need; I think this is well worth a read, it might just begin to open your eyes to your relationship with love.

This is the third book in the series and is a great addition overall. This book can be read as a standalone but is one I would suggest is worth reading in order. This book is detailed and such an interesting one to read. I like how varied the story and the characters felt. The characters really brought this book to life. They added a dynamic to the book that made it even more enjoyable. This author is a very new author to me but I am really enjoying their writing style. It has a good, easy to read tone to it and I always connect with the story being told. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and I can wait to read more from this author.

This book is the sixth one in the series and is just as good and as endearing as the others. I seemed to connect with this book much more than the others, the characters and the story. I loved the connection between the characters. It seemed so natural and real. The story the author has created is fun and lighthearted. It is the perfect feel for this kind of book. I easily engaged with this story and wanted to see how things would play out. I always really enjoy books by this author and this one is one of my favourites.

This is my first book by this author which I enjoyed reading. This is a great older child’s book about Taylor and her friend Jim and the trouble they find themselves in. They are not sure who to trust on top of that it is a race against time for them to be saved. This is an engaging story that any older child /young adult would enjoy reading. It takes you on an adventure that you don’t want to miss as well as reading it to find out how it ends. An engaging story with characters that are connectable and made the story easy to read. I enjoyed watching the growth of these characters throughout. This is an entertaining story that I highly recommend this book.

The Hussar’s Duty (The Winged Warrior Series Book 3) by Griffin Brady. This is the 3rd book in the Winged Warrior Series and it is full of action, adventure and romance. I do recommend reading the previous books first just to better enjoy and understand the series. In this book we find Jacek settled down with a wife and family but he’s not entirely happy. He’s restless and itches to be back in the battles that’s he’s always been in. When Jacek is called back to fight for Poland he rushes to help but when he gets there he realizes not everything is at it seems. Torn between his Country that he loves and who he pledged to fight for and his family. Which battle will Jacek take on the one for his Country or the one with his wife. He loves his family but he was born to fight for his country. This author has written this series so well I feel as if I’m in Poland in the 17th century and in the middle of this horrible war. Do yourself a favor and read this amazing series today!

Trapping the Butterfly (Butterflies Fly Free Series Book 1) by Debra Parmley. I was so excited to read this book because I live in Arkansas and have been to Hot Springs several times. The stories of Al Caone and the gangsters are legend there. This book did not disappoint. I have also been to the Arlington Hotel and it was described perfectly. I felt like I was there in the 20’s and it was so exciting. The story is based on a young girl, Bethany, who lives with her aunt and uncle and they have traveled to Hot Springs for Bethany’s 18th birthday and her Aunt’s health problems. Bethany lives under very strict rules of her Aunt and Uncle and she only wants to live like the other 18 year olds. Bethany has a trust fund that her Aunt and Uncle are also very protective of. They have arranged for Bethany to attend a banquet with one of her Uncles partners and they are hoping for a romantic match. Bethany attracts the attention of Paul a cop who warns her to stay away from a certain floor of the hotel because its full of gangsters. Unknowingly Bethany has already been spotted by one of the gangsters, Rocco. Will the excitement of life with a gangster be too much for Bethany to handle or will she run off with him and live the life she’s dreamed of. I loved this book sooo much! One of my favortie reads so far this year!

Celia feels guilty and knows that she made a mistake, but at the time felt like she was doing the best thing for Kyle, by allowing him to live his dream and not have to make a choice. Kyle now wants to get to know his daughter, and after the anger dissipates, he realizes that he still loves Celia and wants both of them in his life. This is a great start to this series, and I cannot wait to read the rest of them as they come out! There is some strong language, and plenty of steamy scenes, with a guaranteed happily ever after.

Between all of the different demands on their time, Natalie and Anthony have lost each other and have both started to feel like they are drifting apart and are unsure of how to fix the problem, though they both know they want to fix it and save their marriage. When Natalie and Anthony are given the opportunity to spend a week alone, helping to pack up his parents’ lake house, they are finally able to reconnect and really talk through what they feel and want. This is a great book, the 3rd in this series. It can be read as a standalone book, but I truly doubt that you will want to once you start.

Her imagination is and ability to entertain our children. Just another example of why I enjoy reading stories from this author.

This was a really eye opening and inspiring story. The author bravely tells us his journey from almost losing everything to finding himself, happiness and realising what it truelly means to have love in your life. This books is set up in chapters and each chapter is a story about a certain aspects or event that happened which allowed the author to grow and develop spiritually. As someone who loves to find ways to improve myself and improve myself spiritually it was a really great read. Reading about the author’s findings and then looking for similar things in my own life. The author shares some really sensitive stories with us and their ability to be open and vulnerable allows the reader to see that if they can achieve this sense of inner peace and love then so can they.

This is a children’s author that I enjoy reading. I enjoy the learning aspects as well as the entertaining stories. This is a book about Colleen and her dad. Her dad says that he is holding up the sky but what will happen when he puts his hands down? I enjoyed the graphics of this story. They are interactive and tell the story in a way that will keep your child engaged throughout. I highly recommend this book for all children.

This is a great children’s book with a message to not be fearful and to work together is better – at least how I read it! The illustrations are gorgeous. It is a good read aloud that takes you through the story of Colleen, her dad and the community. Being fearful and nonbelieving at first, the community was not sure about Colleen’s dad holding up the sky. But in the end, it all comes together when they realize holding up the sky was an important job, dad wasn’t scary and they could all pitch in and help.

Twisted Proposal was just what the title says. If I’m being honest, I’m the beginning I couldn’t get into the book. It took me days to read the first few chapters. I just couldn’t get into it. I didn’t like the main character Ethan and that was it. I gave it a chance and kept reading. There was a change and I found the book to be a good read. There were reasons why Ethan was the way he was towards Siena. I’m still stuck on why Joyce was sending those emails to Siena. That confused me a bit but all in all, it was a great story once I got into it and I enjoyed reading it.

Have you ever made a huge mistake, and quickly learned that sometimes the lesson that was learned was worth it? That’s what happened to Toby, she was a dog trainer who would visit the local prison, and quickly finds herself attracted to John, a man who has been convicted of murder. Toby helps John escape from prison and finds herself on a journey that she never could have fathomed. Toby describes in great detail her experiences from meeting John, to helping John, to her time in prison for the crime of aiding a convicted murder of escape. To me, this book was a good read, it shows the audience what she was feeling and thinking. It was a page turner, and I am a huge fan of true crime and this book didn’t disappoint! I truly feel that if you are a fan of true crime, you will enjoy this book! And just remember, in the words of Toby, “You are more than your greatest mistake”

Brilliant addition to the series Back in Buckeye Falls with the third book in the series. I love this town and the characters. This is Anthony any Natalie’s story. Always there for everyone else and by all appearances they are perfect but behind closed doors they have lost their way. This contemporary romcom has all the feels. I love every book in the series and it was great to see the other side of Anthony and Nat. Even though each book can be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend reading them all as you get a deeper understanding of the characters, their background and Buckeye Falls.

What a fun story! It’s an entertaining story/myth teaching about helping and being kind. I loved the bright colorful pictures. The story was another big hit in our house for storytime. My grandson now walks around telling me he is holding up the sky. (He is autistic and feels he needs to model heros in many forms). The characters are kind and compassionate. The ones who need to learn lessons always learn a lesson in a good way. I love the stories this author writes because she makes learning fun.

This is the third book in the Buckeye Falls series. So much happens in life when you are an adult and you have jobs and kids and everything; sometimes your relationship falls between the cracks. Is that what has happened to Anthony and Natalie? Is there any way for them to fall back in love? I liked this book but it did take me some time to get into.

This is the third book in this series. But the first of 2 books about Sky and Damon. And if you liked the first 2 books you’ll absolutely love this… Broody bad boy and take no nonsense Femal MC. Match made in heaven. The authors takes you on a ride with her storytelling and I couldn’t put it down. The character development is excellent and well thought out. The plot is also perfect and melds well with the first 2 books. There’s some character crossover so I would definitely read the first 2. With the huge cliffhanger I’m super excited that the next book is releasing soon.

Falling Again is the third book in the Buckeye Falls series by Libby Kay. This is a charming contemporary romance with a small-town setting- a bit of a romcom with second chances, humour, chemistry, emotion, struggles, pressure, duty, responsibility, expectations, family, friendship, reconnecting, reigniting a spark, realising what’s important, and some drama. I have read a few of Ms. Kay’s books now and have enjoyed them all, and this was no exception and was just as sweet and heart-warming as I expected. On the surface Anthony and Natalie seem to have the perfect life, but you know what they say about appearances. Their marriage has been stagnating for a while now and the cracks are beginning to show. Anthony, being the Mayor of Buckeye Falls feels he has a lot to live up to considering his father was the former mayor- so Anthony is determined to ensure he exceeds all expectations. Natalie has the pressure of being wife, mother, and business owner. Holding it all together is exhausting. What happens when they get a chance to spend a week together at their lake house. This book should be rated a big negative 15 stars because it made me cry. Yes, I said it. This big hard, cold hearted, not a crier was overtaken by all the heavy, intense feels in this book and water leaked from my eyes. As -15 stars is not an official rating and is not a fair one, I can’t help but give it all the stars possible.
I have been a fan of this series since I first dived in with Teddy. I stuck around for Walt, the big ol’softee. I was completely blown away with Hank and his Ella Mae. So, where do we pick up with the Bennett clan? Hank is lost after trying Nashville and finding out that it wasn’t for his band. They didn’t want that life. Weekend gigs in local bars with crowds chanting their name, they were there for that. The hustle and grind of the Nashville music scene, not so much. But he was at home working the family farm.
Feeling sorry for himself, Hank takes himself to a concert for his music idol, Travis Miller. Hank is feeling no pain and looking sad when a pretty girl says hello and offers him water. As Hank talks to the mystery woman, he starts to realize that he might never want to let her go. When she introduces herself as Ella Mae Miller, Hank is stunned. Ella Mae is on tour with her brother. Ella Mae prefers the shadows to the spotlight, so she doesn’t mind being the woman behind Travis’ spotlight.
Hank and Ella Mae bond over many things including family tragedies and the shared knowledge of dark secrets. As some of those secrets start to come to light, Ella Mae must decide who she wants to be and the road she wants to take, knowing that it might cost her one if not both of the men in her life.
Absolutely beautiful. The talk that James gives Hank after they got the news, heart wrenching brotherly love. So many tender moments in this one. It is hard to point to a favorite.
P.S. I see what you are doing to Becky and it better be worth it. Cuz I’m fixin’ to say Nun-uh, No to that.
