This is a series that I have enjoyed reading from the first book. This is the sixth book in the series which I highly suggest reading all of the previous books. This is a series that keeps getting better with each installment. I never hesitate to pick up one of this author’s books. They are engaging, fast paced and hard to put down. The author’s use of writing skills and attention add so much to the stories. This book is no different. The characters pulled me in from the start. They brought the story to life and made me feel as if I was part of their world. They have great growth throughout as well as great chemistry. I really enjoyed reading this book and the creative characters made the story for me. A vampire story you don’t want to miss for sure. I highly recommend this book and this author.

Better than Twilight, I found this story to be more exciting. Forbidden love between Kodiak and Tamaska. From the moment they met at the Opal event, the chemistry was palpable. It kept growing. When you’re a wolf like Kodiak, you can be torn because you should listen to your pack leader, even if he disagrees, but will he? This is an exciting adventure that had me from the start. I was intrigued and had to keep going to see what happened next. The characters are well written and fit right into the story perfectly. It all flowed together so well. This is a new author to me and I so look forward to reading more from her. Great job! If you love paranormal, you definitely should read this. This book is so intense and full of action and suspense. I had to remind myself to breathe. You might a trigger warning up front. These ladies are helping rescue others from the skin trade. Dealing with the abuse issue can make reading it a little hard but this is a real issue. These are some strong, kickass ladies. Shadow has been to hell and back. She likes Panther and he’s there for her. They seem to be working out there issues. The question is, can she truly live life for her? This author writes the best dang MC books I’ve read that remain with you even after you’re done. The sick, twisted creep playing the game with her is messed up. She just rolls with it. I loved the end of the story. She deserved an HEA. I can’t wait to read what comes out next. I thought Grimm’s Wolves was my favorite but these ladies kicked them to the curb. I love seeing how they overcome their challenges and get that second, maybe third chance. Don’t’ give up. Great story. You can read it as a standalone. I think it’s better in order.
This relatable story is about a little piggy pirate who can’t wait to go to big pirate school with her siblings. When the day finally arrives, all that anticipation becomes anxiety about change. A few puns that might get lost on younger kids, and a few silly things that are likely to make them chuckle. Illustrations are colorful and fun.

Wow this book was so good! I have read other books by this author and once I saw this one, I knew that I had to read this too! I could not put this book down! I felt as if I was a part of the story and not just sitting there in my office at work reading. Savage Start (Hidden Valley Elite Prequel) by Isla Vaughn – Review by Jessica Stone
This is the first book I have read from this author, but she did not disappoint , I literally cannot WAIT to read the rest of this series. Going to purchase as soon as I’m done with this review.
This book starts off with Riley and her mom moving into a new place in a new town, seemingly running from something but we haven’t discovered what yet. Riley’s mom is seeing a new man and is certain this will be the last new town, the last new home. Promising they are done running and things are changing, but Riley, knowing her mother, isn’t so quick to believe that things will actually be different. Used to getting by on the bare minimum, having nothing Riley’s learned to stay distant from everyone she meets, clothed in her “goth” style, it’s easy to play the unsociable weird girl to avoid drawing attention to herself, the last thing she’d want is for someone to look to closely.
Cole and Damon and two brother living in the perfect home with the perfect family… or so it seems from an outside perspective. Coles and Damon’s family is shredding apart from the inside out, Cole father, a certified jerk is having an affair and Coles mother is cracking under the pressure to keep it together on the surface. The only thing holding their family together are the boys and their willingness to try, but will that be enough to keep their “perfect” lives from crumbling down.
By chance one evening Riley and Cole meet at a party thrown by coles also seemingly perfect cousins, and sparks FLY between the two. But just before things can get to out of hand Riley flees from Cole, but that doesn’t stop him from invading her every waking thought from then on.
I loved this little taste of the Hidden Valley elite, super glad I was able to read this before diving into the series because it gives a look of perspective I believe of what’s going to happen in the series and why the characters are who they are. I would highly recommend reading this before starting the series but I do not believe that you necessarily have to read this before the others. It is short and sweet though so that’s something to note.

This book is the prequel to a new series. This was a quick read but it’s a good one!
You are pulled in right from the beginning with Riley’s character. The back story is intriguing and you definitely want to find out what’s going on. You can tell that while Cole and his family are well off, they are just as dysfunctional as the next family. This book did a really good job of setting the stage for the series. It introduced characters and gave some back story. You get hooked just enough!
I’m not new to this author , love her writing and to me she’s pretty diverse and an all rounder ❣️📚 I love myself a good mafia romance so I couldn’t wait to get lost in between these pages 🫶🏼
At first I struggled with Luke being a woman ( the name ) but after a chapter or 2 Luke reminded me she’s a woman, all woman , a seductive , sultry and beautiful woman 😉
Luke is not only strong but independent and has had no qualms of looking after herself and the man that he has his eye on her is wise not to try and box her or her character in , give her freedom to be who she is …..
Nikolai is part of the Seattle mafia and a man of poet , he also happens to be a man that loves Luke , see everyone has an Achilles heel !? Anyhoo he declares his love and Luke runs , but he has his eye on her and when she needs him most he swoops in and “saves” her
These 2 had me all over the place but I love them and they captured my heart , their story may not be traditional but it’s beautiful 🥰

This is such a cute children’s book about a piggy that does NOT like to wait. I have two kiddos of my own that aren’t a big fan of patience, so we read this one together. We all loved the illustrations, and they said they understood what piggy feels like because they also don’t want to wait most of the time. We laughed and played alongside pretending to be pirates. Overall, this is a very enjoyable book and would highly recommend to families teaching their young ones that good things come to those who wait!

Real Movie Hero is the second book in the Green Brotherhood: SEAL Team XII series by Debra Parmley. It is a military romantic suspense with SEALs, danger, tension, chemistry, sizzle, intrigue, emotion, action, a protective Alpha-type hero, and dramatic developments. This is another short story in this series, and my favourite so far. It’s a very quick, and easy read. I read it in the time it took me to have my lunch. As I have mentioned previously with some of Ms. Parmley’s other books, that though this story is complete, and an interesting read, I would have preferred it to be much longer, more detailed, and a ‘meatier’ story… because then I would have had more time to fully immerse myself in the story, really get to know the characters, and for them to have more time to fully develop. Plus, who doesn’t want to spend a longer time between the covers with a hot and hunky SEAL? I did like the story, and as I said, it is definitely my favourite of Ms. Parmley’s books, so far…. This was the best Fantasy Romance book I have read in a LONG time. I had not read anything by Nicole E. Kelleher before, but this knocked me right off my feet. Wild Lavender is the magnificent first book in the Heart & Hand Series and I cannot wait to read the next. The author has such a brilliant way of creating such an all-encompassing world, I wouldn’t pass this one up. It is a gripping, fast-paced read full of romance, danger, and lots of chemistry. Heading over to pick up the second book in this series because I simply can’t wait any longer! I highly recommend giving this one a chance and you’re sure to fall in love with the beautiful world and intriguing characters.

Between my daughter and myself, aspiring writers, it was great to see a laid out checklist of the process and resources of where to go for specific services. This is a staple tool in our library for many years to come, whether it is recommending this work to other aspiring writers/authors and within my family. With such a guided map of the process and the publishing industry, you never know what lengths inspiration may take you.

This book is the prequel to the Isla Vaughn’s new series Hidden Valley Elite. The story follows two young teenagers, Cole and Riley. They comes from drastically different background and financial statues. Riley and her mother move around constantly, never staying in one place to long because they are con artists and hiding from her biological father. Her mother says that this time is different, that they will hopefully be able to settle in and stay. The first day Riley is in town, she comes across a house party at a mansion sized beach house. After scoping out the house, Riley steals a gold lighter and get caught by a dangerously attractive alpha male. Cole, catches Riley in a bold face lie and when taunted by Riley, kisses her. To both of their surprise it is the most intense kiss either of them have ever experienced. Riley’s mother’s plans of staying are quickly changed and before they know it they are on their way to moving again. The book ends with a cliffhanger! I cannot wait until Book One is released to see what happens between Riley and Cole!

I love Lorettas books. They are so informative an you learn so much. This is a quick read an she takes you through every stage of a caterpillars lifecycle. Teaches you what they eat an their predators.
This is a really cute children’s book. It grasped the concept of how kids react to waiting to go to school. They are so excited waiting to go but once the time is actually there they are scared. This story is is a must read for any child getting ready to start school as it shows that they don’t have to be scared as they will meet new people and make friends. I recommend this book to any parent with children ready to start school.

Ouroboros is a very good read. I love how all the characters grow from how they were when they first met in the first and second book to how they are now. The author did a really great job in how the characters can relate to each other even though they all have different backgrounds. There are a few plot twists that one would never think of happening which makes for an interesting read.

I love how informative and supportive this book is. It is exactly as you would expect from the title and the description. I found it to be a really interesting read, insightful yet informative. This is completely different from anything I have read by this author but I enjoyed seeing a different side. For anyone looking to published a book I would highly recommend this one.
Myself and my kids were drawn to this book because it was about butterflies however it was the authors storytelling that kept us engaged. This whole book was clearly designed to capture a child’s attention and I can say from my experience that it worked. The story was everything I have come to expect from this author – educational yet fun. As usual, the whole family enjoyed this book and we have read it multiple times. This is a great story for kids that I would highly recommend.
This is such a good book! I truly enjoyed the characters and have to say these are some of the most detailed characters I have ever read. This is the second book in the series, however, it definitely can be read without reading the first one. However, I recommend reading the first one just so you gain a better appreciation for the Bennet family and what all they have been through. This book has the perfect happy ending and definitely leaves me wanting more (in the best way possible).

This is the start to a new series. I really enjoyed this story. It is the first book in a new series that I have enjoyed this much in a long time. I really enjoyed the characters and thought that they were multidimensional. I also liked that this was a little dark and really was reminiscent of high school in many ways – especially the stereotypical high schools that were found in TV dramas. It reminds me of many of my favorite tv shows which means that I am really looking forward to more in this series. I definitely recommend this!!
As always, this is a Hawke family book that does not disappoint. This is the first book in the Hawke Family Second Generation series. However, it does contain some of the characters in the original series. This book also has a prequel, it is not necessary to read it to understand this book, it just demonstrates the amount of chemistry between MIna and Isaac. This chemistry was absolutely undeniable and continues in this book. Isaac is a man who will do anything to protect his family but in this book the danger is so close. I definitely recommend this book, just as much as I have recommended every other book by Gwyn McNamee.

An enjoyable and engaging fantasy romance with an epic storyline spanning realms, mystical prophecy’s and royal intrigue. A wonderful read with steamy love scenes and a grasp on the historical fantasy genre. For me it is in the details and this book has them in spades! I loved them all, down to the map in the first pages of the book. I cannot wait to read more from this author. You definitely won’t regret this read!

If you are a writer hoping to get published doing a single project or multiple projects at once this book is the one stop resource you need to help you create a successful timeline and goal. With so many resources at our disposal today it can be hard to know which ones are credible and which ones are taking advantage of will be authors. This takes the guess work out of which ones you can trust. This is a wonderful resource that all budding authors should have. It will help you avoid costly mistakes and produce your most amazing self on paper!
Let me start out by saying that this is the second installment of this amazing series, and I highly suggest you take the time to read Jake! This book focuses on Evan, who we meet in the first book of the series. Evan is a silent backer of a dating business called “Blind Date”, which is owned by Kayla, a wonderful woman we also met in the first installment. Kayla and Evan have a good friendship, but that seems to be all, at least on the surface. Evan’s friends talk him into trying out the Blind Date, just as he had talked his friend Jake into doing. The rules stayed the same, four women would be chosen, one by each of Evan’s friends, and he would go on a blind date with all of them. Evan has a terrible experience with the first two dates, but the third seems so right to him, that he feels almost comfortable, almost familiar. This is an amazing short and beautiful read, and I highly recommend that you take the time to read the first installment and keep your eyes open for the third book! I’ll be impatiently awaiting its release! <3

Chatroom With a View is a very dark and at times disturbing read. The book begins with Troy finding his mother dead in her own pool of spreading blood and he has beat the crap out of his father to the point of his father being immobilized and helpless! What a way to kick off this dark book! Troy, who is the main character of the story is not the nicest guy nor the brightest color in the crayon box, but he knows how to play dirty! Troy’s life is going okay between work and tending to his immobilized father until Veronica, a few night stand that he met through a chatroom and met up for some fun a few times, has contacted him and told him she is pregnant with his child! What a major upheaval in his already jacked up life. The waitresses that he works with are basic run of the mill bitches who like to play games with those in the chatroom so Troy decides to dish out his own sweet revenge for him and all the other guys that the waitresses have screwed over and played with. Very dark story but entertaining if you enjoy suspense and thrillers and being inside the mind of twisted people! The characters are very well written and definitely a very original book which is quite refreshing since most stories seem to be rewritten or updated versions! I must say that this was a very good read and I cannot give enough praise for such an original book! BRAVO!!!
