This was a fun romantic sports story. Peyton and Ryan end up fake dating and unfortunately their first impression of each other is not a good one. Even though these two didn’t start off well there is no denying the chemistry between them. The more time they have to spend together they realize their first impressions aren’t who they really are. Will they end up dating for real? This was an enjoyable read with great characters.

Loretta lives with her parents and helps out around the house, one of her chores is to collect firewood from the woodpile and take it inside to heat their home during the cold, winter months, but one day while she is doing this, she finds a strange tube when it falls out of her armful of wood. She asked what it was and found out that it was a nest for leafcutter bees, so she returned it to the woodpile and checked on it when the weather warmed up.
As she watches the nest, she sees round holes appearing, she knows that it is the bees leaving the nest, but she cannot find the bees anywhere, she also notices more holes in the leaves of her families rose plants, but there is still no sign of the bees, where could they all be?
This is a charming tale which talks about the importance of leafcutter bees and how to attract them to your own garden, just like Loretta is trying to do.
Isaac is just finishing up Law School destine to work in the family business with his dad back in New Orleans but when he goes to a bar with his brother to celebrate before leaving he sees her.
When he runs into the most beautiful girl and they decide to have the greatest night together, but Isaac can’t just have one night so he convinces her to spend the weekend but in the morning she vanishes without a word. Isaac has found his soul mate but can he find her again.
I loved the Hawke Family and getting to read about the next generation is brilliant and can’t wait for the full series. This is a great insight into the next generation and will be just as good as the first, I can’t wait to read the full story of Isaac and the rest of the second generation.

Jacklyn Stone is such a relatable character in this psychological thriller. She is trying to live with grief after the death of her husband while keeping her head above water and trying to move on with her life. Her children suggest a vacation to rest and refocus, but where she ends up is anything but a restful, refocusing vacation. While fighting for her sanity, as well as her mental health after tragedy, the roller coaster the reader rides along with Jacklyn will keep you turn the pages and makes this read very quick and easy. This is my first book by this author, and I am hooked. The characters are well-written and the plot, riveting. You will hit the ground running with this book – I highly recommend it!

This book will definitely remind you of life as a middle school girl (if you were one) and may even remind you of middle school in general. Landry is a typical middle school girl who gets dragged into a contest for a modeling reality show by her friends. She doesn’t view herself as pretty enough, and she doesn’t want to be a part of it really, but when she is the only one of the three girls selected, her two “friends” begin to treat her like she’s invisible. Landry is forced to make other friends. Landry’s new friends, one of whom is also part of the contest, help her to get over the sting of betrayal, but that doesn’t necessarily fix everything. There are the typical kinds of inner group fights, but eventually Landry finds her true friends.

This was definitely a page turner! While being a great story it also angered me to no end! The story is told from Jacklyn and her two adult childrens perspective. After her husband passes Jacklyn has a hard time recovering from the loss which is understandable. When she isn’t bouncing back as her kids think she should they try to help by sending her to Shore Lodge. But is Shore Lodge really what she needs? Do Dusty and Rose have her best interest at heart? This thriller will take you on a roller coaster of emotions. The strength that Jacklyn has is astounding and I love her character. I really enjoyed this thriller and the ride it took me on!

This is not the first book I have read by this author and won’t be the last, I loved the premise of the book and the twists and turns in the book were brilliant. At first I really could not relate to Dominic’s character as he was so angry and with the first encounters where cruel to the extreme but as there relationship develops through the story you understand the reasons and the heart and compassion that is within him.
This was a well written story with a brilliant storyline which is hard not to put down. I can’t wait to read more.

I am so glad for being warned as without it I would’ve been so confused. Though even with it it didn’t give anything away. The surprises were non stop throughout the book. Dominic and Juliana’s love story starts out slow and rises to a higher level. The writing was very arousing in all the right parts. This plot was a lot different than my normal reads, I would definitely read again and even look into other books.

What can I say about this book other than I absolutely loved it! I couldn’t put it down at all, I enjoyed it from beginning to end, I can’t think of a single thing I disliked even in the slightest.
The writing itself flowed extremely well making it easy to read and the beautifully descriptive language made the world feel so real to me allowing me to fall into the pages as if I were there myself. The historical aspects included, for example the politics of Wales at the time and marital ages, were included wonderfully and worked into the story amazingly well. This is something I often find can hinder the story, but this cannot be further from the truth here. I honestly cannot rave about this book enough!
The characters were perfect! They each had their own personalities, and I absolutely loved the main character, Rhia. I felt the way she was portrayed, her thoughts, emotions and actions really reflected how a 16-year-old may respond in her situation. She felt so real to me, and her growth was great to see the way it occurred. Rhia was amusing and sarcastic and I could not get enough of her.
The plot was well thought out, flowed perfectly and was not rushed in any way. I was gripped throughout and did not lose interest at any point. This is a book I would definitely recommend, and an author I will be keeping an eye out for in future.

Bees in Loretta’s Bonnet is a children’s book that will be fun for all ages! This book predominantly aims to teach children about bees (leafcutter bees). The illustrations are impeccable and really help to bring the explanations to life. This book portrays observations of your surrounding and how to handle predicaments that may occur. It also shows the compassion that should be shown to insects in general. This is great learning material that shows the situation from a kid’s point of view.
Luke and Nikolai were a couple until one Night Luke tan and never looked back. She is such a strong character and I loved that about this book. Nikolai however, knew where alike was all along but was giving her the space she needed. One night when Luke is leaving work she ends up hearing / seeing something tragic and she freezes. Now someone is out to get her but, who could it be? Nikolai makes his presence known to her and vows to protect her at all costs. His mafia connections and alpha tendencies help him almost always get what he wants. He wants Lu and doesn’t plan to Let her go after the truth is revealed. Will Nikolai be able to keep Lu safe? Will Lu take Nikolai back after running from him and never looking back? This was a fairly good read by an amazing author!

I can honestly say from the first page I was Inlove with this read. I loved the characters so much and who doesn’t appreciate a good real Romance book. Peyton started dating a married man without knowing it. When she was at a team party realized it she left…with Ryan. Ryan and Peyton really disliked eachother from the minute they were introduced however, he took her home and now that some people think they are a couple, they must play the part. They spend a lot of time together and really Get to know eachother. I can’t even begin to write how Good this book was. I cannot wait for more. This book was a breath of fresh air and I was able to finish it within a little Over a day. Was so hard to put it down.

Savage Start was such an amazing read. This author really blew me away with their book. Savage starts was a romance story but it also had some family drama in there. It was for sure a page turner. The author really drew my attention from the very first page. This book was very unpredictable. I would say this book is for 18+ because there are some mature content in it. Amazing job!!

Alyssa has always had a fascination for Celtic history, so much so that she was majoring in it for school. A warrior is nothing without his weapon, name and talisman. Or so the saying goes. Rowan has ⅔ of these things and he’s running out of time to find the third before he is taken across the ford. All warriors have until their 28th birthday to find their talisman before the Morrigan comes to collect. Rowan’s birthday is coming up. He has pretty much accepted his fate until he meets Alyssa.
Instantly Alyssa catches his attention. When he finds out she is his talisman, he is ecstatic. Unfortunately Alyssa has no idea what a talisman is and what is required of them. All she knows is this handsome man has shown interest in her. Used to being the less attractive friend, she is reluctant to believe that this man could want her.
They have very little time to convince Alyssa she is a talisman and to train her before the Morrigan starts her attack. Can they defeat a Celtic goddess or were they doomed from the beginning?
I really enjoyed this book. It was filled with interesting Celtic lore, handsome warriors, and action themes. Also had romance, spice and a couple of zombie warriors. I could not put this book down. The author did an amazing job building the world. They are very clearly knowledgeable in what they wrote. All the characters were unique in their own way making each one lovable.

This is my first book by this author which I enjoyed and look forward to seeing what is next for her. I enjoyed reading this suspenseful story. This is a story that has twists and turns that had me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what will happen next. A story of revenge and stakes that could destroy. The characters pulled me into the story and brought life to the story. They made the story realistic and added so much to the story. They are relatable and made the story for me. This is a fast paced story that is engaging and hard to put down. I enjoyed watching the growth of the plot throughout which made the story easy and entertaining to read. I really enjoyed reading this suspenseful story. I highly recommend this book.

This was a great read. I really loved Jacklyn character. Even after everything she is going through when push comes to shove her fighting spirit and strength really come out as she fights for her freedom and her sanity. I really didn’t like Dusty’s character, I felt like he was always just looking out for himself and what he could get. His sister on the other hand i do believe she was doing what she thought would help her mother and was conned by Dusty just as much as Jacklyn was.
Jacklyn Stone is going through a traumatic time. After losing her husband suddenly and uncovering secrets he kept from her it’s no wonder she’s a bit all over the place and struggling with things. She needs time to grieve and to make sense of everything she is finding out. However her children don’t see that and think she need medical intervention. Especially Dusty. He has power of attorney over his mum and decides he knows best. And that is to put her into a mental instution. Packaging it up as a retreat to give his mum some peace and time to recover they persuade Jacklyn to to to Shore Lodge. What happens next is Jacklyn’s fight to escape a institution she doesn’t belong in while trying to keep her sanity and come to terms with the deception and her sons part in it. Can Jacklyn fight her way out and escape a place which wants to keep her stuck and “mentally impaired”. Does she really need to be at Shore Lodge after all?
It’s a gripping read that you won’t be able to put down.

So we know Max has a mystery beach girl that he hooked up with and Ellawyn even did a painting for him 🫶🏼so imagine the Jurassic butterflies that hit his stomach when he heard her voice and the saw her at their wedding rehearsal !!! Yes I squealed and no I’m not embarrassed 😉❣️😂
So beach girl has a name , Marley and she’s still beautiful and still a wedding planner and her memory of Max still leaves her hot and wanting 🔥That moment of recognition was epic ! I wish I was a fly in the wall tj have seen it all 😍😂

So Max and Marley created 2 little beings and after the initial shock Max is keen to meet them and man are they cute ! Jax and Izzy are adorable and everyone just sort of find their groove and gel and life seems perfect till someone from Marley’s past brings a lot of suspense , chills and angst to the table , my heart couldn’t handle it and I chewed nails to the quick !
It was a sweet goodbye but I know I’ll be back in Quimby Cove soon enough because Avery and Kennon have a story to tell I’m sure ❣️📕

From the very beginning, Susan pulls you into the story and you are in the setting of it all. The vivid image of loss is shown throughout the story. Jackyln is, as the kids these days say ‘a baddie’, and it shows from chapter one to chapter 56. Susan writes a witty, yet suspenseful tale of the ultimate betrayal. I would definitely recommend this book and even read it several more times.

Engaging This is Storyteller’s and Sherri’s story. It is captivating from start to finish. I thoroughly enjoy this author’s writing style and their previous works, and this did not disappoint. Storyteller is a very interesting character – his journey has not been an easy one. The road to Sherri was filled with heartache and demons from the past. This book is a stand-alone but forms part of The Mayhem Maker Series – Motorcycles, Mobsters and Mayhem. It’s not flowery romance but dark and gritty. Highly recommend.

This was a very interesting prequel. I’m excited to read the full story and see what happens.
Riley and her mom have been moving from place to place without any stability. Riley would love to stay in one place long enough to make friends. We don’t know why they are on the run. They do whatever is necessary to get money to survive on.
Cole and Damen are twins from the right side of the tracks and don’t have any struggles with money but are at odds when it comes to their parents. Their mom is struggling in the relationship with her husband and the boys are caught in the middle. Cole is on his moms side and Daman is on his dads side. This is all causing more friction in the household.
So much happens in this prequel to get me excited the read the story and see how everything comes together or falls apart.

This was a great 5 star read. This author is a must read for me. Storyteller is a great character. I enjoyed the adventure he had trying to find the owner of a book he found. He is a nomad who was recently called to come home by his Prez when he came across the book. Little did he know the dangers it would involve. Sheri finds herself in extreme danger and is surprised when Storyteller shows up to help her. Will he be able to help Sheri? Overall I really enjoyed this read we get some steamy moments from these two along with a great story. The author pulls you right in with her writing. This was a great 5 star read, being only 50 pages I read it in one sitting. This genre is quickly becoming a favorite for me. The characters were great, you could feel their connection coming off the pages. Riley and Cole definitely come from different sides of the track but money doesn’t always make things better. Of course we end on a cliffhanger, looking forward to reading the next book in the series. I need to see where their story goes. Adorable illustrations go along with this great story. A treat for any child that is getting ready to go back to school. Just like for children, it is an exciting but scary time in life. Hopefully this will be a favorite for your kids like it has been for mine.

The Golden Garza is the fourth book in the Red Cage series by S. Ann Cole. It is a fantastic romantic suspense with sizzling chemistry, action, danger, intrigue, drama, angst, tension, mystery, humour, banter, family bonds, a private investigation firm, emotion, and so much more. I love everything about this series and was so excited to find this fourth book had released. I put aside everything else I was reading so I could plunge into this book and soak it all up. I love the Garza’s! And even though we get to ‘meet’ the family members through the other instalments, I love it when each one gets their own book and we can get to know them so much better. Tripp is the youngest of the Garza brothers, he’s a bit of an enigma- a wild card and adrenaline junky. Always looking for ways to feed his inner demon, whether it be motor sports, underground fighting, MMA, secret covert missions, no-strings sex, or flying down the freeway as fast as his motorcycle will take him…. Tripp always lives close to the edge. Soleil is his younger sister’s best friend- and entirely off-limits. So, it’s lucky that he finds her completely annoying. Really! He can’t stand her. He can barely tolerate being around her. So, helping her when she needs it the most is completely out of character for him. Keeping her safe becomes top priority, especially when everything she ever thought she knew was nothing but a lie…. There’s more to her story than meets the eye. And he’s just the man to get to the bottom of it all. But what happens when feelings become involved? But what happens if the past doesn’t want to be revealed? What happens when secrets come to light? Well, the tension mounts, the suspense increases, sparks fly and the pages sizzle as it all unfolds- making for a riveting, unputdownable read… Even though this is the fourth book in the series, it could be read as a standalone, but let me tell you, you would definitely be missing out! The other books are fantastic in their own rights, as well as giving more depth and detail to the other characters, and providing backstories that are incredibly intriguing. Having all those other details on board before you start this book, will definitely enhance your reading experience of not only this book, but the series as a whole. I am excited to see that Tillie will be getting her own book with the next instalment, “The Crowned Garza”- but also a little sad to discover that it will be the conclusion to this brilliant series…. not sure I am ready to say goodbye yet. But, still…… Bring on Book #5!!!! Happy Reading…

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. The way the author draws you into her stories is just outstanding. The story line is great and the characters are very realistic and relatable. I love reading books from Manda Mellett. They are the perfect way to escape from your day.

I’m not sure how I feel about this book, so I’m going to start this another way and I’ll make a decision at the conclusion. First let’s start by saying the way this book reads, tells me the author did a lot of research before writing. It might be a book of fiction but Handle with Care read as something that could be very informative as well. There was slight romance tied in, but it mainly focused on a deadly outbreak and how to stop it. Finding the source of how it started. Containing it to the general encampment of 400,000 people. Yes, that’s a lot of people but worldwide would be worse. Finding out why it impacted men at a more casualty rate than women. The author when answering those questions put lots of thoughts and responses behind it. There was really only one question that came to mind while reading it. That was, Was this intentional? A question that’s addressed by characters and becomes part of the context about midway through, then till the end is how to answer that question and respond. Dr. Hunter Montgomery and Dr. Selma Bryant have known each other for years. Both of them former military medics for different branches of the military. However they constantly crossed paths and worked together. Selma was married at the time so personal interest between them wasn’t a thing. Even though her husband suspected it was. Now years later they’ve found one another again and are building a life together, till Selma runs. And ran she did, right to the UN relief agency Doctors Abroad, which landed her in Northern Rusda. Signing a contract that would bring her home in April she thought she was doing a great thing and helping out those who didn’t have easy access to care, despite the real reason she was there. You can guess what happens next: people start getting sick/dying at an alarming rate and they can’t figure out the how and why? As I continued to read I started to wonder if the jealous ex-husband had something to do with it. At the same time that would be a lot to get revenge on one person. So I bumped it to the back burner but the question continued to simmer. This book is written to me in a journal type format, each day this is what happens. I think that’s what took me out of it some. I didn’t dislike it but I didn’t love it either. If you enjoy medical outbreak dramas this is definitely for you. The author displays knowledge and understanding of what’s being written. Giving the reader so much information to help them understand everything that’s going on keeping them locked in on the story.

Arrrgh! Me Hate to Wait! By Evanson Bleckwehl is one of my all time favorite children’s books. This book is about how a pirate pig named Half-Pint Porky is in a rush to go up so she can attend Pearl of Pork Pirate School. I love all of the fun names for the characters and the language used throughout the book is right on hook (I mean point) with pirate speech. The illustrations that accompany the story are simply amazing creations by Gabby Correa. Gabby did a wonderful job ensuring that each illustration captured the essence of the story. This book is great for children who are impatient. You can have a little lesson about waiting and how waiting can sometimes be hard.
