This is a great fantasy read for older children. The author does an amazing job of making fantasy feel like it could be reality. This is a heartwarming story of a young girl and her adventures as she navigates her life however things aren’t that straight forward.

Gwendolyn is a dreamshifter. That means at night she shifts into whatever she dreams about. Normally this isn’t a problem she always wakes up the next morning back in her human form. However, this one night she gets startled awake by the fire alarm in her home and gets stuck as an elk. Now she has to figure out a way to get herself back into a human all the while making sure she keeps safe and away from hunters. Can she stay safe in the form she is stuck in? Will she be able to change back or will she be trapped as an elk forever?

Where oh where do I start! After laughing out loud from the very first sentence I just knew I was going to be hooked on this book and I was so right! This AMAZING Author brings together two total opposites, Tenley, a podcaster who preaches practical relationships and spurns the idea of love, and Teagan, the love guru who truly believes in love and all it can add to a persons life in such a fun and completely captivating way that I didn’t want to put his book down even for a second! With it’s wonderful storyline, fantastic cast of characters and fun steamy moments it is simply one you don’t want to miss. This is the first book I have read by this author but I am telling you now it definitely won’t be the last but simply the first of many! Her books are now being added to my Christmas wish list, I just hope my family are paying attention! LOL

This book grabbed me from the very beginning. I have been a WWII buff for a while now and always enjoy a different turn on every story from that time. This is completely unique! I really love the magic and mysticism that encircles the little statues, and their unique capabilities. I could feel a sense of the danger surrounding the characters, and really enjoyed the descriptions of how music is more than just notes on a piano, but have a life of their own and can make a person feel ways they don’t naturally feel – the passion and freedom that can come from it. I could not guess where the story was going to go and was hooked the entire time. Truly a great read – and I will probably read it again and again!

This was a really sweet and adorable story. Enzo and Candi were just wonderful characters to read about , they are the type that you take into your heart as soon as you start reading about them. I adored Enzo, he was just the sweetest character ever and I was rooting for him and Candi the whole way through. I did feel for Enzo at times and how his past had an effect on how he viewed any potential future relationships. Candi was a really relatable character, again things in her past have made her the way she is today.
This story was beautifully written and I would absolutely recommend it.

Another really cute children’s book from this wonderful author. I loved how each of her books tackles something different for children and creates talking points for children to discuss different issues. In this books the dwarves have a dilemma and have to think about how to deal with things fairly. This is great for children especially as they often don’t understand this kind of problem.
Again the story was well written and beautifully illustrated.

I have never heard of a dream shifter before. I really loved the idea of it and how the author put it into a book that not only I loved, but I think my ten year old will as well. Gwendolyn is a 12-year dream-shifter. She shifts into the animals that she dreams about. Fun right?! Well each night she prepares for the dreams and normally enjoys them. There is one catch to being a dream shifter though. If you wake up normally on your own you shift back to human. BUT if you get woken up suddenly (like from a fire alarm) you stay shifted! Crazy right?! Lets just say that her parents were shocked the first time it happened. Unfortunately, she learns that if you don’t shift back within a few months you get stuck in the form that you last shifted to!! So, she’s leaping around as an Elk and having fun, when she’s bolted awake from the fire alarm. They forgot to turn off the space heater that they used to make smores indoors. Not only is Gwendolyn stuck as an elk now, but their home burned down. To top off her already horrible night, she learns that it’s almost elk season! Which means she has to find a place to hide! Where do you hide an elk?? She’s stuck as an elk with no knowledge on how to turn back and now she must keep away from hunters! Thankfully she can speak English and she still thinks mostly like a girl. But how do you explain this to people? And who would believe her?! Getting the help from a magician that she’s a little scared of is her last resort, but she must. He gives her access to his magical library which she finds out that her grandmother’s written books are part of! Maybe she can find some answers finally!! He does end up having a book that might help, but for some reason she can’t get near it. Oh odd!! Will Gwendolyn spend the rest of her life as an Elk? Will she get hunted and killed during the season?! Hiding out at the magician’s house, putting on magic shows for kids to pay for room and board is just the start to this fun and interesting book!! I got sucked in and I hope my daughter will as well. I’m excided to share it with her. If you have never heard of a dream-shifter (like me) you are in for a treat!!

What a great read! I really enjoyed every minute of this book. I’ve read stories by this author previously so I knew I would be in for a good ready but I definitely think that this is my favourite by her so far! I loved the original feel that the story had, it was completely different to anything I had read before. I loved the setting for the story also, so beautifully described by the author. I liked both Tenley and Teagan they were great characters to read about and had a great amount of chemistry between them. The way in which the author chose to write the story too was great, I found it really engaging from beginning to end. A great 5 star read and one that I would highly recommend.

I thoroughly enjoyed this historical fantasy novel, it was a Irish family saga which had me hooked from start to finish. Although part of a series, I happily read it as a standalone story, however, having enjoyed it so much I am now keen to read the rest of the series. Set in Ireland in 1114, ageing warrior Maelan serves his chief with his bloodied blade, but he also has the unique ability of magical camouflage. His main aim is to provide a legacy for Orlagh, his seventeen year old granddaughter, so he’s horrified when she runs off with a disreputable bard. In order to go after Orlagh, Maelan will have to abandon his chief and risk dishonour. Having to risk disgrace and betrayal to bring his granddaughter home is a real dilemma for the loyal guardsman. The descriptive narrative really brought the characters and the setting vividly to life, and the added historical details made the time period realistic. The mix of historical elements and fantasy made this a real page turner.

What a cute children’s story. I loved everything about this book. The illustrations were amazing and went along with the story so well. I loved that the main character loves the backyard and getting out in it. This is an exceptional story to get kids out of the house and into the outdoors. There are some great lessons learned including where to go online for assistance getting a park in your area as well as tips on how to build one. I highly recommend this story for all children, all classrooms, and all libraries.

This book is a short story that I absolutely LOVED!! I REALLY, REALLY hope that the author decides to either continue it later on or add to it somehow. I would love to read more of this story!! So, every 10 years the Gods choose a paranormal being, who was unjustly killed, and they get a second chance at life. Nice right? Well, there are rules though!! First, you only have three days to find and choose a mate. Second, you can’t use any powers to influence said mate (love potions, mind control, etc etc). Third, you can only choose one person. If that person doesn’t work out for any reason, you go right back to purgatory. No Second Chances within this second chance. Your chance is just lost! And lastly, you have to tell your chosen mate about the challenge and said rules. Maybe not so easy after all! Quinlan is the chosen one this decade and boy oh boy does he have his work cut out for him! The gods have placed him in a hotel, in wolf territory, and in the middle of nowhere. These Gods must be out to get him! At least they gave him three changes of clothes and some cash, but funny thing is that they forgot underwear! What the heck?! Was that on purpose?? What are these silly Gods up to!!? Day one is passing quickly. By the time he catches some animals to eat (as he is a vampire) and looks around the SUPER small town he’s ready to get some sleep and work out a plan for this challenge. Scoping out the town at night might bring some more answers about the town and it’s residents. Will he be able to find a mate time? Three days in a small town with less people could be a big issue. Maybe he needs to take a day to travel somewhere else and up his chances? With not much money he won’t be able to get far. Should he let the alpha in the area know about his challenge? He doesn’t want to tick off the locals and have a wolf war on his hands too! Man oh man you are in for a treat with this one! Like I said it is a short story, but the author packs in some great stuff in those few pages. Give it a shot and see what Quinnlan ends up doing AND what he ends up dealing with.

Murder on Oak Street is the first book in A South Shore Mystery Book series. I was intrigued by the blurb about the book and that I had not read this author before. I am excited to have read this book and look forward to more from this series. Daniel O’Halleran is frustrated by the politics and red tape he faces in his job as the coroner’s physician. When he changes to a new city, an old case is brought to his attention. Will he finally get closure on the case? Also, is it related to a recent murder?
The characters are great and leave me wanting to learn more about them. I also enjoyed the twists of not only the old case but the new one as well. If you enjoy historical fiction with mystery and suspense, this is a great book to get your hands on.

Lisa, Tina, Mindy and Ruby, the members of the Rom Com Movie Club. The group is all flustered because Tina is getting married soon and the tension is starting to mount. Once the girls all get to this month’s location, Lisa’s condo, they put on their facial masks, paint their toes and settle into the month’s selection. Soon, an unexpected ring of the doorbell brings Tina’s fiance and his very single, very delicious brother bearing cookies. Despite first meeting with Lisa covered in avocado mask and pj’s, there is an instant spark with Ryan. In a matter of days, Ryan and Lisa are inseparable. She knows this is all too fast. Probably too fast, so it won’t last. But for Lisa, that is the norm, people never stay.

From the beginning, everybody warned Ryan that Lisa had baggage. Even Lisa kept telling him that eventually he would tire of her and leave, she would understand. Ryan was unsure of how to handle this. When he thought of Lisa, he thought forever. As he started to get to know her more, Ryan started to understand where these statements came from, but he was determined to make sure that Lisa knew that his forever was truly forever. As the wedding came closer and happened, family, ex’s, history and even friends tried to get the way of the HEA for these rom com junkies. Will Lisa and Ryan get their HEA?

I love these characters. The sisterhood is magical!! I hope that we get to continue to see them in the next books.

If you are even the slightest bit into stories of the paranormal and steamy romance, I would take a shot on this book! (And even if you aren’t because you will be.) This author is excellent at telling stories that are intriguing and making paranormal characters not only relatable but compelling. I picked up this book and could not put it down. I love paranormal stories – not so much romance, but I loved this one. Quinnlan Trinity is a vampire who must choose a mate in three days or be sent back to and remain in the afterlife. This creative story will keep your eyes glued to the pages as they flip. It is easy to read and get lost in. 5 stars.

I enjoyed every page of this book! My first book by I.M. Foster and I was not disappointed! It’s not a genre I typically read but I’m glad I gave it a shot. Murder mystery’s definitely keep you on your toes! Making you wonder who did it and when you think you finally figure it out…things change. The author has a way of holding your attention! The dialogue, the suspense, the way things are described…so good! If you want a good murder mystery with suspense and drama, read this! And I’m a sucker for dialogue and there was so much in this book.

Fabulous story. Jorja is a strong woman PI that takes on a case to look into the death of a father. It involves a cursed object. I loved the adventure and the drama. Jorja ends up with her hands full. I found the writing delightful and full of detail. The story was entertaining and easy to read. The characters were spicy and full of drama, which made for a very exciting story. A definite must read for mystery lovers.

Oh my stars, the intensity and drama of this story! I absolutely loved it. This book is just as much, if not more, as good as the first book (Quirk of Destiny). The writing is superb. The suspense builds like a thriller movie. You can almost here music building as you are reading. That plot feels so realistic; it almost scares me because it could happen. The elite are out to take control of our world. Honestly, this plot leaves you thinking, a lot about some major issues in our world. The author includes a lot of current topics going on in our current events. The characters are superb. Good guys, bad guys, they all have such detail to them. The interlopers should have been taken out as soon they started causing problems. And that cliffhanger!!!!…..I will be moving on to book 3. I don’t recommend starting anywhere other than book 1 with this trilogy. You must read it if you love suspense/thrills. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. Wonderfully done.

This one of those stories that will have you riding the emotion roller coaster. Early crushes but another got in the way. Now they have a second chance. Will they make this work? Will they overcome the baggage? A beautiful story of Mary and Brad that is so well-written. It truly felt like you were there sharing it will friends (kind of like Laurie). They writing is real, heartfelt and you can feel their issues. You can feel them going through relationship struggles and joy. The characters are well-developed. It was great to have Katie, Chase, Timmy, and others from ‘This Time Around’ make an appearance. The descriptions make the town sound like any small town, USA. A beautiful second chance romance that you must read.

Oh my goodness! The TJ’s will have you feeling all the emotions. Teagan, better known as the Love Guru, invites Tenley, the Love Grinch, to a weeklong couples resort the fun begins. They have only seen each other on the web. She doesn’t believe in love. He’ll prove her wrong. But, can they survive scandal, family pasts, and their personal beliefs? I loved this author’s writing. Real and humorous. A mixture of story and texts, this is the funniest I have ever read. It’s the first I’ve read of this author. I’m going to go back and read about the other couples from the week. Their stories look fantastic also. The characters are terrific. They feel like your friends. They are down to earth. The story had a great flow. I can’t tell you more without super spoiling it. You just have to hit one-click and buy that book. You won’t regret. A quick and fun read.

This is a fantastic book. I thoroughly enjoyed the mystery and suspense. The detail taken throughout the book to make you feel like you were there was amazing and down to every last drop. The characters were so well written. That prologue just grabs you by wrist and yanks you write in to the story. My heart was racing as I read it. I found the plot to be fairly smooth. There were twists and turns that I didn’t quite expect but it all still tied in nicely. A new author to me and, quite frankly, I hope to read more. These are my favorite type of mysteries. I highly recommend you give this book a shot. Well done!

Lucianna has been Kidnapped and Master Catteneo has been tasked to recuse her and bring her back into the fold. Catteneo decides to seek the help of the most powerful seer and when he arrives, he is stopped in his tracks by the grand-daughter, Alessia, who does not trust the vampire with her precious grandmother.

Although in the end Alessia is destined to help Catteneo with his quest and the two start having feelings for each other, although Alessia is a different type of woman to Catteneo as he is used to people following his orders and this woman has her own sassy and determination with the tasks ahead which infuriates him. Can they locate Luccianna and complete the tasks along the way and not let the attraction get in the way.

This is the fifth book in the series and although I felt this could be read as a stand alone so insight in the first four books does give you a grounding to the world of the Master of the Consulate. I love the way this series draws you into the stories and you feel like you are engaged and part of the world that Sylvia Black creates.

This book delves deeper into the world and brings together two unlikely companions but as the story goes through you see the attraction building and creating the love story between these beautiful characters. The story is fast paced, full of suspense and thrilling to read as always, the intensity of the story has you at the end of your seat trying desperately to turn the next page to see what happens. If you are a fan of the paranormal world, then this has it all.

I can’t wait for the next instalment in this series, thank you for allowing us into your world.

This was definitely not what I expected and it took me a little by surprise , but in a good way ! Again o was reminded not to judge a book by its cover 😉❣️📕

Juliet , still recovering from her divorce is quite the lady and she’s for , does yoga , carries her age well and is rather Vi dependant and she’s a darn good English teacher just to add a cherry to the top 😉

Jim , he’s just a plain , good old soul with a real and honest heart , after his wife died he sort of let himself go but he’s picking himself up again and broadening his orison so to speak and that’s one of the reason he’s signed up for the English class and he finds so much more than Shakespeare and poetry, he finds his very own Juliet ❣️

I lived watching Jim and Juliet and they made me laugh , let me tell you old Jim is a real charmer and so easy to love and Juliet is one lucky lady❣️😉 these are 2 people who really deserve their happily ever after ❣️

Love the writing style , when we first meet Samuel asking his farther for help , him preparing for his first reading , it’s written in such a way that you can actually “feel”the scene playing out and what I found really special is that his reading is an intimate family event .

The priest selects Samuel to participate in the Passover and serve at the tabernacle and as I understand it it’s quite an honour 🙏❣️

Samuel may be a young boy but he’s devout and dedicated and I admire that in him ❣️

The Priest and Samuel are walking towards the Tabernacle when they come across people talking about Yeshuah , Jesus and his imminent condemnation and it’s Samuel’s reaction that had me wondering how many other people had the very same reaction on that day ….

Then the curtain separates , the ground begins to shake and I could feel their fear and confusion, their realisation of what actually happened and who He really was 😱🙏

It was good to read these events from someone else’s perspective, someone who was “there” it makes one take a moment to think and process from another point of view .

Once I finished reading this , I just spent time reflecting on the events that secured my salvation ❣️🙏

This is not my typical genre and was hesitant going in but I really enjoyed this collection. It started off a little confusing as there was terminology that was created for this book but as the book progressed, it made sense. Likewise, the beginning was slow but quickly moved to a page turner that I could not put down. Nialla and Bishr create a wonderful team that you cheer on while feeling their heartache, exhaustion, and fear. I am anxiously awaiting the next collection to be completed for Book two to be released.

I liked the mix of supernatural creatures. I always like to see how different authors have them interact with each other.
My only complaint is that it was a short story and I read it way too fast. It was so good I wanted more.

I love a good slow burn and this is definitely that! The fire and passion that burns from the start between Enzo and Candi is undeniable. Even though they have both been dealt some crappy hands in life they are perfect for each other and truly help the other grow and heal from past trauma. I loved the story of Austin & Casey. Austin is heartbroken when the woman he loves, Mavis, chooses his brother and they become engaged. He has the chance to make partner at his law firm and has the opportunity to head up the newest team in Chicago. Casey is Mavis’ best friend and former roommate who is smitten with Austin. Things however become kind of twisted when the opportunity Austin had been hoping for lands in his lap. He has to choose between building his life in Chicago or going back to LA to pursue his dreams. Which will he choose and will it be the right decision? At first I thought it was good for Mavis to find her happiness, however as the book went on I began to dislike her. It seemed like she didn’t want Austin to be happy especially if it was with her best friend. She was marrying his brother but seemed jealous at just about every turn with the budding romance between Austin and Casey. I feel the author did a good job bringing these characters to life for the readers. I’m looking forward to the next installment of this series.

I’ve loved every single book that she has written in the mafia elite series and this one is no different. I fell in love with it from the very first page and I wasn’t able to put the book down until I had finished it. It had me hooked. I look forward to reading more of this authors books in the future. I will continue to re read this entire series over and over again!
