Rick: Ingram Brothers #3 by Roz Lee

Rick Ingram is youngest of the three boys and from what I can tell is the most guarded of the three but that makes sense since he feels like he has to keep his entire life a secret from everyone.   I haven’t read the first two books in this series yet so I’m guessing here.

There are so many things about this book that I really enjoyed and holy smokes Rick and Brett have some incredibly hot moments.  I think there was smoke coming from my kindle a few times whole reading.

Rick’s feelings aren’t uncommon which is heartbreaking to me.  I think he was comfortable with who he was, but not with sharing that side of himself with anyone. Nobody should have to hide their true self out of fear of how people will feel about them.   I hope there is a time where everyone is able to be their true self at all times.

Ms. Lee is a new to me author and I really enjoyed reading this book.  I plan on looking at her catalog and reading other books by her.

This book is one of the most wonderful romances that I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading! Due to its fast pace and ability to keep the reader glued, I spent every spare moment among its pages, impatient to find out what happened next. Though it definitely qualifies as NSFW (Not Safe For Work), the scenes that make it so exhibit and enhance the passion and love the couple has for one another instead of just being mindlessly thrown in. Even though it’s the third book in a series, it holds its own incredibly well. I highly recommend it.

Rick is the third book in the Ingram Brothers series by Roz Lee. I have come into this series backwards, not realizing that when I one-clicked a copy of this book, that it was the third (and final ?) instalment in the series. This book can be read as a standalone, as each instalment focuses on one particular brother- but having said that, there were references and details in this book that made me curious about what occurred in the previous two books, so I will definitely be going back to read them as well.
Rick has carried the burden of his secret for so long now- all through his military career with the Marines- it weighed heavily on him, but he felt that the military wasn’t the best environment to lay bare his soul. Finding a lover in a fellow Marine was an unexpected bonus, and for six years they kept their own secret from the world. But then Ricks world is shattered when his lover announces that he plans to marry someone else. Drinking his pain away seemed like the best idea at the time- drowning his sorrows in a gay bar- one too many drinks later and Rick is lucky a gorgeous blonde decides to take pity on him. But the blonde turns out to have closer ties to Rick’s world than he first realized- what happens next makes for a great read.
This is an engrossing and emotive MM romance, with just enough drama to keep things interesting.

Thank you, Roz Lee!

This book is from the perspective of Rick, the 3rd Ingram brother, but it can be read as a standalone. Roz Lee’s description was excellent, I was instantly transported into the story and could not put the book down. However, I felt at times the book stalled to the point where nothing was happening.

Rick is the third book in the Ingram Brothers series by Roz Lee. This is the first book I have read by Roz, but definitely won’t be the last. I look forward to reading the rest of this series. That being said, this book can be read as a standalone but I think that I would have a better sense of who everyone is and the backstory if I had read the first to books first. Rick Ingram and Brent Whitehall are amazing characters. The story hooked me on the first page and I couldn’t put it down. I like to change up my genres, so I think this series is going to be perfect. I can’t wait to read the other two books.

Rick is the 3rd book in the Ingram Brothers series by Roz Lee. This book can be read as a standalone. I had not read any of the previous two books and did not feel that I was missing any necessary information. Although now having met all 3 brothers in this book, I’d like to go back and get the stories of the others two brothers Jake and Will.
Unlike Jake and Will’s stories, Rick is an M/M romance. I don’t read a lot of M/M romance but do usually enjoy them when I do and I really enjoyed this book very much as there was so much going on that just the M/M sex scenes although I must point out that they were HOT!
I really enjoyed Rick and Brent’s story. Rick is ex-military and has kept his sexuality hidden. He is well and truly still in the closet. Thanks to his brother he now has Brent as his roommate but the attraction between the 2 is off the charts and they soon can’t keep their hands off each other.
I was really rooting for Rick to come out to his brothers but I’m sure he never expected them to find out the way they did. That was one of my favourite scenes and I won’t spoil it by saying what happened but it’s definitely worth a read for this scene alone.

Rick (Ingram Brothers #3)Rick by Roz Lee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book I’ve read from the author and I really enjoyed it. It’s was male on male romance that contains plenty of secrets.

Rick is a marine. He is a stereotypical marine and being gay  or at least openly gay  wasn’t am option. So Rick keeps his sexuality a secret from everyone except Dave Turner.

Rick and Dave  work together and become lovers in secret. Rick falls in love with Dave and has his heart shattered when Dave confesses that he is engaged to be married to a woman.

On a path of destruction Rick ends up drunk in a gay bar where he spots an attorney who works with his brother. After he swears Brent to secrecy he thinks things are sorted.

Brent was surprised to see his bosses brother in the gay bar but promised to keep his secret. There was an attraction between him and Rick but nothing happened due to Rick being drunk.
After trying to find somewhere to live Brent is happy when his boss finds him a place. Until he realises  that place is at Rick’s home.

What could go wrong? Will Rick be able to keep his sexuality a secret from his family? Will the attraction between Brent and Rick grow? And what happens if it does?

Rick by Roz Lee is the third book in the Ingram Brothers series. This is a book can be read as a standalone and is a great example of someone finding the strength to just be themselves. I think the author has done a great job of portraying the struggle within Rick. It feels like he is a realistic and engaging character and it was so easy to be drawn into his story. The conflict you could see him just made him all the more interesting to read about.
The story itself was well written and it had been developed in just the right way. The story built when it was needed but the author managed to stay true to the characters she had written as well. I thought it was well paced and very easy to get into.
This is the first book that I have read by this author but it definitely won’t be the last – and I will be starting with the previous books in this series for sure!

Rick, book 3 in the Ingram Brothers series by Roz Lee is a new author to me. I love a good M/M romance so when I read this blurb I was very intrigued. Yes, I was lost a few times because I haven’t read the first two books, but that didn’t stop me from liking this story. This author had my emotions attached to the words and wanting more. We all know secrets have a way of coming out but Rick is more worried about what his small town is going to think of him. This was a sweet, steamy, and easy-to-read romance, now I need to go back and read books 1 and 2.

I loved reading the book Rick: Ingram Brothers #3 by Roz Lee. It is a story that had me hooked from the beginning. I love the characters of Rick Ingram and Brent Whitehall. The attraction/chemistry between them is undeniable. They find themselves roommates. What does the future hold for them? Will they take a chance on their feelings for each other? Read this book to find out. This story has some hot, steamy scenes that make the temperature in the room rise. It also had my emotions go up and down the entire time I was reading it. I grew to care about what happens to Rick and Brent with each chapter that I read. I wanted them to find happiness. There are additional characters that interact with Rick and Brent who I enjoyed reading about. Don’t miss out on an exciting and entertaining story that I didn’t want to put down until I had finished the final page. I highly recommend reading both this story and the series.

Rick has a secret but what happens when your secret could be told and may shatter your world.

Rick has a secret, he is gay. Although with his career in the Marines was not an environment he wanted to come out, he did have another marine who has become his lover for more than six years, until one night after his brothers wedding he is floored when his lover tells him he is engaged to be married to a woman.

As Rick drinks his hurt away, he is taken under his wing by a blonde gorgeous man but in Rick’s drunken brain he is familiar but were has her seen him. In the morning reality hits and Rick realises that the blonde fantasy is no other than his brothers new junior partner in his law firm. What will happen now his secret is out.

I loved this story, you see the vulnerable side of Rick and I just wanted to hug him when Dave dishes the hurtful hit my heart just went out to him. This is the first book I have read in this series and the first book by this author and I am downloaded the other two books to read to find out about the other brothers. Tis story was full of heartache and new starts and the chemistry was brilliant between the two main characters. The story is well written and can’t wait to read more.

Rick is the third book in the Ingram Brothers series. While reading the previous books might give more detail on how one event originated in this story, I was able to read this book without having read the others.
I LOVED THIS BOOK! All the feels, all the steaminess. I don’t usually read books that are based in the state I live in and I’m glad that I didn’t realize this one was or I would have missed out on a superb story. The characters are written in a way that makes you connect to them right away. And, you will definitely want to read the prologue in this to get the set up. It makes all the difference to the depth of emotion you feel later on in the story.
Oh, and I can’t forget the kitchen scene with the air freshener – laugh out loud hilarious!

There is nothing better than reading a book that plays out like real life. The way we perceive how others see us, the way we put our blind faith in others and trust openly and the way some crazy just appears out of nowhere and hit’s you in the face like a brick. This was such an excellent example of all of the things life puts in front of us. The characters are amazing. The landscape is perfect, that house sounds so quaint and I can see every room as it is described!

This was a decent book read out of order, I have not read the two preceding books about the other brothers and I had a decent idea of who they were and it didn’t give away too much for me to go back and read them. (I’m on it, promise)

Rick (Ingram Brothers #3)Rick by Roz Lee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Rick is the third book in Roz Lee’s Ingram Brothers series. It starts off with Jake’s wedding, wrapping up the story of the previous book, before delving deep into Rick’s messy love life.
As well as being sexy from the get-go, there is depth to the characters and the complications they face. Rick has been in the closet for a long time, keeping his sexuality a secret from the military he served in and from his family. A long-term “thing” with Dave is complicated by both parties’ reluctance to be public about their relationship.
This is an enjoyable read. It was easy to connect to the characters and get invested in their experiences. I found myself rooting for Brent from the start – so caring and considerate. And of course there’s the whole accidental housemates trope which is very fun!
For me, this is a five star book. Great for fans of gay military romance, and I would recommend it to all fans of a good messy romance.

Rick: Ingram Brothers #3 by Roz Lee is a MM romance story and the last book in the Ingram Brothers series. This was my first time reading this author and found it to be well written and the characters are complex but enjoyable. Rick has kept his life secret from everyone. Living in a small town it’s hard to be who you are. Things soon heat up when his brother asks a favour he knows he should turn down. I came in late to the party as I have not read the first two books in this series and feel like I have missed out on a lot but it didn’t stop me from liking this book. I will definitely be going back to read them.

5 stars!

I absolutely loved this book! The characters were easy to fall in love with and the story, had me so entranced. I did not read the other books in the series, but I didn’t feel as though I couldn’t follow along, although it would have been nice if I did so I could have had some background on Rick’s brothers Will and Jake and their dramas. From the beginning I really thought Rick and Dave were going to be it, but the way Dave broke it off with Rick was just heartbreaking, especially to see how Rick reacted to the separation. When he meets Brent I started getting excited for a new relationship for him, and it is HOT! I love Rick and Brent together and I love how protective Rick gets of Brent. When Rick’s brothers drama comes back and spills into his life with Brent it adds a little bit of excitement into the steamy romance we have going on. I wish this book could have been longer, I was hanging on every word. I hate that any homosexual male or female feel they have to hide who they are for fear of what the public will thing, I can’t wait for the day when anyone of a different sexuality will feel safe enough shout who they love without any fear or discrimination A definite must read!

This is a new author for me. I enjoyed my first romance story by this author and look forward to reading more from her in the future. This is a well developed story that pulled me in right from the beginning. This is an engaging story that is fast paced and easy to read. The characters bring the story to life and are connectable. This is the third book in this series and Rick’s story. Rick is a brother who is a good brother and would do anything for his. His brother wants him to rent out a room to his new lawyer, even if it seems like a bad idea, Rick goes with it. As Rick is about to find out, he now has a problem. His new renter, Brent just happens to be the person who is sworn to keep a secret about Rick. Brent was just looking for a place to rent. He never expected to land on Rick’s door. Will Rick’s secret come out? What will fate have in store for these characters? I enjoyed these characters and what they brought to the story. I didn’t read the previous two books in this series but I will be going back to do just that. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens to Rick.
