This is the second book in this series and it is just as good as the first one if not better. It is a well written story that took me on an adventure of a race against time. The characters made the story feel realistic and engaging. I was pulled into this book right from the beginning and hard a time putting it down until the end. I highly recommend this book. Who will win a dark fate or will the defenders beat the clock and get the win they deserve?

Journey through Spacetime ( Journeys through book1) By James Talismen “A mysterious voice is heard in the minds of inhabitants across multiple worlds within the vast MultiVerse of space and time…”
What a great book, If fantasy is your thing this is the book for you! Mr.Talisman really has a way of pulling into the story with his writing. Truly a great fantasy story it was a little slow going for me in the beginning but was definitely worth reading. Following all the characters through the Story is very exciting and makes you want to keep reading. The further in you get the more you want to read. I enjoyed learning about the different worlds as well as the different characters and what they can do.

Despite the book being on the shorter side, I enjoy very long books. It feels like you’ve been through a long journey and understand more about the many worlds introduced in this book. James does a great job intertwining the Characters and worlds together even though initially they all seem different. James has a great writing style that’s complex but easy to follow and understand. I’d be very interested to read more from James as I enjoyed his style writing of this book.

Journeys Through SpaceTime was a great 5 star read and book one in the Journey’s Through series. This is my first read from James Talisman and he did a great job with his debut book.
You get pulled right in and get to know all of the different characters. We get different worlds and timelines as well. It took a little bit of time for me to get to know everyone and what was going on, the more I got into the story the more I liked it. Each of the characters are connected in one way, they have a voice that speaks to them and they are each facing some dangerous issues in their worlds. I almost felt like I was reading multiple stories in one book.
Overall this was a good read and it’s amazing the worlds that James came up with and the characters. If you like science fiction you will love this book. All of the characters added a great element to the story and there are some that I would love to see more from. 1-click and get started today.

You are Immersed into the story and before you even half way through the book your already saying this isn’t a stand alone there has to be a book 2 !! Overall the story is fantastic, the characters are written very well no character got lost in the storyline. I really like the build up of the characters and as your read the book your viewpoints start to change or get stronger with different Characters of the book. You start to understand their strengths and what drives them. I recommend this book to my son and I’m going to read it again with him. It’s a great read for adults and teens who enjoy fantasy. Journeys Through SpaceTime by James Talisman. Are you looking for something unique and that can take you away on an adventure from the real world? Look no further because that’s exactly what you’ll be getting with this incredible story. This story had me completely captivated from start to finish. The author knows how to write a story that had me lost in a fantasy world that I didn’t want to leave. The characters are complex and well developed even the smallest details are taken seriously. This book will definitely be on my mind for a while. While I loved it I was sad when I ended it so I’m excited to see what this author comes out with next. This is a new to me author but it definitely won’t be the last book I’ll be getting. The storyline it well written and paced nicely. Five stars all the way and highly recommended.

This is a sci-fi/fantasy in which there are multiple storylines following different characters in different universes, realities and timelines. Each is very different and draws on various ancient mythologies which I really enjoyed. Although confusing to follow, I appreciated having to engage more with the story. I also liked the world-building, which was extremely complex, although it was at times more descriptive and wordy than immersive. The ending was definitely action-packed, and the weaving of the story becomes clear in the way the end is tied up but leaves you wanting more.

Journeys Through SpaceTime is an exceptionally in-depth, complex story that takes you on a journey through multiple worlds and times. You get a clear, vivid picture of each world and of all the characters as you delve into this mysterious novel. I struggled with finding the connections at times, but thoroughly enjoyed reading about each of the characters separately and getting to know them and the fantastical worlds they lived in. I would honestly love to see this broken down into one book for each world, and then tie the worlds together in a final book! There is so much to learn about each world and the characters within that I think this would definitely be doable!
This is not a quick read. You need to allow yourself at least a week to travel on this journey in order to really grasp the concepts depicted and keep each world straight in your mind. You will probably want to read it more than once as there is a lot going on! Loads of action, mystery, deceit, magic, and an abundance of thought provoking narrative that will have your brain working overtime! While this is not normally my genre of choice, if you are a fan of sci-fi and multiverse theory, this one will definitely hold your interest from beginning to end! You can most definitely tell this author is very passionate about this subject matter!

Journeys through SpaceTime is a collection of stories running through parallel universes. Each story happens in one realm, and each story has the protagonist, the antagonist and an invisible force connecting them all, encouraging the protagonist to believe or remember his/her powers to fight against the evil. The focus shifts from one realm to another, we come across kings and queens of Egyptian empire, the vassals of the Roman empire, people from the Utopian empire and then humans of the current Earth. The book spans across different characters in multiple universes and in each universe, there is this good character, trying to battle the evil forces in any way they can. It is a very ambitious sci/fi project with lots of details, and definitely not an easy read. There are too many characters and too many worlds. To be honest, as a reader I felt it should have been more spread out. But as this book is the first in the series, I am hoping the author is going to connect all the pieces of the puzzle together and we will know the reason behind so many different characters. Based on how he constructs the plot, it can definitely turn out to be an epic fantasy/ science fiction series. It is not easy to imagine and building one fantasy world, and the author does a very commendable job building up so many at one point of time. It is a work of excellent imagination from a very promising author. Hope to see more work from him!

This book spanned across time and space with the action packed lives of each of the six different characters’ time and dimension. Their directions are similar yet different which makes this book exciting. It provides action with knowledge and insight on their own personal greater power. This books keeps you on edge on what will happen next with mystery and intrigue keeping you glued in chapter after chapter. Pick this book up and you’ll never want to put it down.

Journeys Through SpaceTime (Journeys Through Book 1) by James Talisman 5 Stars I really enjoyed this exciting and fast paced debut novel by James Talisman. Set in the ‘MultiVerse’ of multiple worlds scattered through both space and time this sci-fi/fantasy story was out of my comfort zone and not a genre I have read before. Honesty I had never heard of the term MultiVerse, but I am so pleased I gave this book a chance. The blurb states it is, “an exciting journey of adventure and discovery”, and it did not disappoint. The story begins with a mysterious voice which is heard in the mind of a selection of inhabitants across the multiple worlds within the MultiVerse of space and time, who’s voice is it and what does it want? The world building is so well done I felt as though I was on each world, and through Talisman’s descriptive writing the sights, sounds and smells all came alive. There were a lot of different characters introduced from the various worlds, each with their own stories. I did struggle to remember them all in the beginning but the list of main characters at the beginning of the book definitely helped and I did refer back to this at times. The story was told from each characters point of view which I liked and the characters were likeable and relatable, from Hirisho, the sword master’s son from the Dameon Province world, Queen Neferities of the Isonian Empire, Matt Larson, a college student on EarthVerse world, the reptilian humanoid scientist, and a leader of an utopian world. Along with their mentors, who seemed to have ‘godlike’ powers, each character embarks on an adventure and joins the battle between good versus evil. I highly recommend this well written debut novel which has an exciting storyline even to readers not familiar with this ‘MultiVerse’ genre. It is book one in Talisman’s, ‘Journeys Through’ series and I look forward to the next instalment.

Journeys Through Spacetime was such a fantastic read! I was instantly pulled into the story through the author’s imaginative ad creative writing style. This is the author’s debut novel and I am really looking forward to seeing where he takes this series. The storyline is complex but I really found that I was able to become fully absorbed into what I was reading. I’m not usually a fan of sci-fi stories but I did actually really enjoy this one and I am definitely looking forward to reading more! The characters in the story were really interesting to read about, and being told form multiple points of view enabled me to begin to understand the role each of them played in the story. The story as whole was beautifully detailed and I could definitely tell how much work the author had out into the story. As I said earlier I am really looking forward to the next book in the series and I would absolutely recommend this book to other readers!

From the First page of this, I was hooked. I’ve always loved time travel stories, and this one was no exception, if anything it set the bar higher for any other time travel books I’ll read after this one. I loved the amount of detail and attention that was put into this book. From all the different characters and the different worlds and how it built up and all intertwined. Often times with books with several characters it’s hard to keep up, but this one I didn’t struggle hardly at all, and the handy guide in the beginning was also very helpful. I recommend this 100% to anyone who loves a detailed story, time travel, and sci fi/fantasy. I am anxiously anticipating the next book! 5 out of 5 stars.

Journeys Through SpaceTime (Journeys Through Book 1) by James Talisman is an amazing read. This isn’t usually a book I would read but after reading the Synopsis I became curious. This is a sci-fi/ fantasy book that is full of time travel, adventure and action. This book has many characters and scenery that the author did amazing job on giving detail to that you can envision while you read. After I started the book I realized I needed to read it at a slower pace so that I didn’t miss anything. I quickly became hooked on this book and I am so glad I chose to read it. Journeys Through SpaceTime is a debut book by James Talisman and an awesome first book in what looks to be a superb series. This sci-fi/fantasy is packed with action and adventure that had me hooked from the very start. This story incorporates a lot of different characters and worlds, and it is wonderful how James kept them organized and in sync. Because of the sheer amount of information and jumping between multiverses, you need to read without distractions to get the full effects of the story. I really felt a connection to the characters and was amazed at the plot. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.

I really like finding new authors! This is the first book from this author that I have read and I was not disappointed. I found the author’s writing to be unique and a change from my regular genre. The author’s very vivid imagination brings the characters to life in the writing. I felt as though I was there right alongside the characters as the drama was unfolding.
I found the concept of a mulitverse quite original and thought that the author did a good job of laying out all the factions.I didn’t have a problem following the story through the various parts of the multiverse and thought that it was very well organised and presented. I have to admit that this book had me glued to the pages cause I couldn’t put it down till I read what was gonna happen next.I will definitely read more from this author in the future.

This is not my usual genre but sometimes I really just love a good sci-fi read. This book is so complex with many different characters and worlds intermingling, but it all works, and comes together nicely while still being able to follow along easily. The storyline was gripping and very fun to get into, and I love a book that makes me feel as if I am living in the same time, or space etc. The action, suspense and adventure kept me enthralled waiting to see what would happen next to each individual character. I really enjoyed the beginning that had a layout of all the different worlds, the characters we would meet from those different worlds and how they were connected to the other characters. It helped me put a lot together in my own mind. I was impressed with how easy it was to follow along with each journey because at the start of a new story, the world in which we were being transported to was announced. I would definitely recommend giving this book a read, I don’t think you would be disappointed in the slightest.

This is the debut novel for Talisman, making it the first I have read by this author. Journeys Through is a new sci-fi/fantasy series. Talisman does a great job of creating not only one fantasy world but several within a universe!
Those many different Verses, are shown to us in the first chapter. We jump right into the adventure of this story…this world. There is a great battle coming. Good v. Evil. The ultimate battle and every being must be ready. With many different characters and worlds being introduced it is easy to become lost, but Talisman has a way of bringing the reader right where he wants them.
If you are a fan of fantasy, sci-fi or adventure, then this is the book for you!

Journeys Through SpaceTime by James Talisman a journey of a five-star read. This is number one in the Journeys Through series and shows great promise for the series. The fact that this is a debut novel shows in one or two tiny parts, but honestly, I could not believe it. I have been known to get into many a debate about the multiverse theory and usually avoid stories about it as they all follow the same type and we just get the one line, but I am glad I took the chance on this one as it had a great fresh perspective and made me start a whole debate about ideas from this story. Normally I cannot do that as I read a lot of romance and science nerds do not enjoy debating that, but this was great we started on one point and I brought in so many more. Much like the story it was deep and complex, and I found myself arguing over people just to get my point across, I explained it in different ways as the characters were so complex, they gave you strength from reading them. After we had our discussion we sat and talked and they all asked what book I had read as it must have been good to get me so impassioned, I explained that it was one I took a chance on and I hope many more people will. I did try to get them to give it a go, but they admitted that between the four of them they read one book last year last year. Hears hoping next year they raise the total to include this one.

Journeys Through SpaceTime by James Talisman is his debut novel and it is a doozy. This book is not one that I would normally pick up because I tend to get extremely overwhelmed with multiverse story lines. Now, I must say this book had its confusing times where I found myself rereading sometimes three times to finally sort it all out, but I felt like this book was worth it. That is where the key to a great book lays for me. He has managed to build up these beautiful and vibrant worlds so that you feel as if you are traversing space right along with the characters. I enjoyed the amount of effort and time that was so apparent while reading, that was put into this novel to make it all that it is. This book also incorporates a lot of different characters as well as the worlds so be prepared to take a deep breath and dedicate the time to this novel to get the maximum enjoyment out of it. I read it over holiday break so I feel like maybe I will need a reread when the tiny terrorists return to school lol. I will definitely be around for a book two to see what will come next.

This story gives you a new level of appreciation for the multiverse theory. You have multiple people across space and time that hear one voice with the same message. I used to dislike how people just become heroes when they didn’t want to. Like the weight of the world rest solely on you. The author gave it a little twist and it changed my opinion slightly. These individuals seemed to mesh well. The goal was clear and it felt like everyone was willing to play their roles. There a multiple POVs and many layers. It gets a little wordy in places and it drags. But the adventure and characters keep you interested. I kept reading because of the suspense. You just can’t help but see what happens next. The amount of time of thought put into the details is amazing. To connect so many worlds, times and people in one story is amazing. It did get overwhelming keeping up with who is who but overall it was a really great read. If I was really inti sci-fi it would be a close top 5.

Journeys Through SpaceTime is a fabulous multiverse adventure journey with lots of action. It begins with a sword master’s son, a powerful queen, a skilled warrior, a college student, a reptilian humanoid scientist and a wise and beautiful leader. The worlds are very well developed, the book is also told in multiple points of view from the main characters which makes them all very well developed and interesting, and there are a lot of characters which can make it confusing at times. I loved following the adventures of all the characters and seeing them fight against evil. It’s full of exciting moments which will have you quickly turning the pages to find out what happens next! This is a great start to what I know will be a great series!

A mysterious voice is heard in the minds of inhabitants across multiple worlds within the vast MultiVerse of space and time…
An exciting journey of adventure and discovery develops as a sword master’s son, a powerfully enlightened Queen, a skilled warrior, an “ordinary” college student from Earth, a reptilian humanoid scientist, and a wise and beautiful leader of a utopian world use their wits and newly acquired skills to battle evil forces bent on ensuring “reality” forms as they desire.
Puzzlement ensues as special mentors appear and seem to defy what “reality” means. Wielding “godlike” powers, these teachers help illuminate the secrets of all creation.
Witness the powerful link of unity that seems to embody all participants in this incredible struggle of “good” versus “evil”. With powerful ideals forged on each side of this ancient battle, will one become the victor in the end?
With a profound fascination for ancient esoteric wisdom, James Talisman has found a way to explore this subject through writing. Along with a personal desire to learn more about these ancient wisdom traditions, James hopes to convey age-old concepts through the time-tested method of good old-fashion story telling that involves powerful characters in captivating adventures that touch the reader and make them ponder their own story.

5 Star The Rise of House Valdis (House Valdis Book 1) by Naomi Valkyrie First off I want to say that I loved the Cover and I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first started reading. But before I knew it I was lost in the pages and couldn’t stop reading. I had to know what was going to happen next. The story flowed smoothly and the characters were so very well developed and easy to follow. Although this is this Author’s debut novel I can’t wait to read more. I loved the character of Xen,she was given a second chance to start over on Earth , but one decision could expose who she really is .She finds herself in danger will she have to reveal her secret? Find out what happens next in this absolute must read.

Rise of the House Valdis by Naomi Valkyrie is a fast-paced little story about relationships. All kinds of relationships. Xenobia is just trying to keep her girls safe in her own household, but her household keeps growing and becoming more than she ever imagined. The story is told from several different viewpoints and sometimes it seems repetitious but you’re just getting a different viewpoint. And that’s kind of different. But it all works together in the end.

This was another new author to me and so I had no idea what to expect but when you see a cover that bright and interesting it is hard to deny my brain the desire it has for knowing what will happen between the beautiful covers that grace this novel. Mega win on the cover for starters, then add the fact that this is a powerful and bold story that kept me on the edge of my seat waiting and waiting for each little tidbit to fall into place. I adored inner and well overall dialog of the main character, Xen. She made this book all that it was and more and I am eager to find out what will await in the following novels that I am praying come in short order. This is one you will have to take my word for it. It is a complicated but not overdone story that will keep you well entertained and have you falling in love with a new set of characters! Not enough good to say! Run and one click I am sure you won’t be disappointed one bit!

The Rise of House Valdis was a great 5 star read and book one in the House Valdis series.
Xenobia came to earth seven years ago, We start out with her best friend Maggie giving her a hard time about getting out and dating. But she has a fear that they will see what she really is and she doesn’t want to take that risk. Maggie is the only one who knows what she is.
When someone dangerous resurfaces fiver years later, she is wondering why now? Things take a dangerous turn and she is asked to help a girl named “Mercy”. When she finds Mercy she is being attacked by two men, she saves her and brings her home with her. Can she keep Mercy safe?
Matt is investigating the death of three men, he meets Xen when he goes to question her. He knows that there is more to her story. Matt has his own secret and when he reveals it to Xen she is shocked, I actually had a LOL moment at her reaction.
There is so much more to this story that is told in several POV’s. Overall I really enjoyed this read. Xen ends up finding out that she isn’t alone, will she finally fit in?. All of the secondary characters were great. I was pulled right in by Naomi’s writing. This is my first read from this author and I was pleasantly surprised and I look forward to reading more from her. 1-click and get started today on this great paranormal read.
