This was a great read that pulls you in right from the beginning. Jordan and Grant first meet when Jordan is getting ready to go to basic. They both felt a little spark. We jump ahead a little and Jordan returns from basic training and is ready to get back to school. She starts helping at the dance studio again as well.
When there is a scary twist, Jordan and a friend are attacked and her self defense training kicks in. When the officers got on the scene she came face-to-face with Grant again. Grant is determined to not let her go again and plans on asking her out.
Will Jordan go out with Grant? Will he be able to keep her safe?
Overall I really enjoyed this read. I really liked the characters, Jordan is a tough as nails female who knows how to take care of herself and Grant had a childhood that helps him connect with lots of children on a personal level. There are some twists and turns that add a great element to the story. I will warn we do end on a cliff hanger and it will leave you wanting more right away. If you’re looking for a good read, 1-click and get started today.
This book was a bit different than what I normally read but overall it was good. Seelie Kay created a world that was created based on a version of a type of sexual role play. Following the adventures of Abdul and Tillie as they tried to unravel the mystery of where Annabelle was, is an interesting read. Abdul and Tillie made a great couple and their interaction was fun to read. There were a few twists and turns in the story which made it a fun read. If a reader does not mind reading a novel that goes into something a little different, then this book might be right up your alley.

It’s been a while since I read a book in the 21st Century Courtesan series, I forgot how my emotions will be all over the place. The Husband was a little darker than the other 3 books and boy, was I on the edge of my seat most of the time. I’m not a thriller/suspense reader but Pamela’s writing has me enjoying Evie’s journey. So happy there will be another book and that we won’t have to want too long to see how Evie’s story will end. Highly recommend reading this series from the beginning to understand and appreciate the writing.

I really enjoy just about everything I pick up that is penned by Via Mari, and this, Relentless, is no exception to the rule. It is the fourth in her Billionaire Bodyguards series, and I personally recommend reading the others before diving into this one for the maximum enjoyment, but it ultimately isn’t necessary to the story really. I love how these books bring the romance and the intrigue all in one well developed and quickly read package. I can always expect some high suspense and twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. Relentless gives us the story of Dereck and Layla (I love that her name!) and it is one that will keep you fanning yourself as you turn the pages following the adventurous story they have to share. I cannot wait to see what we will get in the next book.

This is the second book by this author I have read in the Billionaire Bodyguards series. I think I enjoyed this one as much as the previous book honestly. I am quite glad that I had read book three otherwise I would have been a little out of the loop, but I don’t think it is necessary as a reader to have to read it. You could pick it up without it, but it may take a few more chapters to really get into the nitty gritty and understanding of it. As with the previous book this one is also full of action and adventure, drama and danger, and sex, secrets, and suspense. In other words, everything that a keeps me interested and gripping the edge of my seat reading. Just as with the previous book, the author does a tremendous job of keeping the characters interesting and their connection instantaneous. A recommended book from me.

This book is only for those over 18’s due to the adult nature of the content.
Officer Grant Summers is a cop in the Boston PD so that he can pay forward the kindness he experienced as a child and Jordan Smith is a dancer with a dream of owning her own studio and decides to do this by joining the National Guard.
We first meet Jordan on her first day at the National Guard boot camp when some fellow recruits decide to try and get a rise out of her by demeaning her, but she doesn’t take any offense and just shakes her head while walking away from them until she hears the command of a higher ranking officer chewing them out for the inappropriateness of their comments, as he finishes with them, he introduces himself and then takes her to where she needs to meet her commanding Staff Sergeant. We first meet Officer Summers when he is attending to a call relating to oa drugs offence and the scene he sees when he gets there reminds him of his own childhood experiences, so as he reminisces, he looks after the child while his mother and another male are arrested.
Jordan is returning home after her nine weeks at bootcamp and as she is waiting to disembark from the plane, she reminisces about her time there and the friend she made while there, she is proud of herself for completing the training successfully and showing that she is more than just a dancer and a fragile one at that, but she is surprised when she and another recruit are allowed off of the plane first with an accompanying the round of applause when it is announced by the pilot over the intercom. When she sees her friends and family at the arrivals gate and later at her parents home, she realises that they are as proud of her as she is for herself and the surprise party her parents have thrown just confirms it, the next day she returns to work at the dance studio and pulls another surprise with the students who attend it, then she gets back into the everyday routine of being home and she loves it. However, when she and her friend get to the studio a few days later, they are shocked to walk in to see that somebody has broken in and is messing with some of their equipment, as Jordan shouts at her friend to call the police, the guy rushes her and her self defence instincts kick in as she fights the intruder off. When the police arrive, the assailant runs off and they don’t manage to catch him, however, it turns out that the officer attending is someone she already knows.
When Officer Summers is called to a breaking and entering, he is surprised to see that the victim is someone he already knows and they have a connection that nobody can deny and the fact that she fought the intruder ups her in his opinions again. After Jordan has made her statement at the station and returned home, the adrenaline runs out and she feels scared at what could have happened, but she is happy when Officer Summers checks in on her a couple of days later and is even more happy when he invites her out for dinner, she agrees and they end up enjoying each others company a lot, as the next few weeks pass and their relationship develops, Jordan starts to receive cryptic notes attached to photo’s of her when they are left on her car and her front door, but is this related to the break in at the studio, or is it something more sinister? This is a thrilling roller coaster ride which keeps you on your toes trying to work out who is behind the notes and photos while becoming more and more invested in Jordan and Officer Summers relationship as well as the pnes of those around them.
This is the first book in the Royals Gone Rogue series. This is a Romantic Suspense novel and is 113 pages. This story follows MISix Mathilda (Tillie) and Abdul. The Queen has tasked them with finding Lady Annabelle and returning her to the Queen. Between the animals and strange sexual fetishes, Tillie and Abdul must find the terrorist connection. Along their journey, they start to develop feelings for each other. The problem is, do they follow their hearts toward each other or go their separate ways and continue to serve the Queen?

Wow what a story! I think I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through the book, I was completely hooked from beginning to end and what a cliff-hanger! I definitely cannot wait for the next book in the series! Jordan and Grant were great characters to read about, they had so much chemistry. I loved the different twists and turns in the story – this definitely is what kept me on the edge and engaged the whole way through. I am so excited for the next book in this trilogy – I can’t wait!!! Fabulous writing by this author and a highly recommended read!
This was a great story and the cliff hanger at the end has me wanting the second book now. The author has done a great job with the characters. I especially love Jordan, she is a strong independent woman and knows what she wants in life.
Jordan and Grant meet in The Guard. When there is a break in at Jordan’s work, Officer Grant is sent to the rescue. The connection and attraction between them is instant. The couple decide to see where it leads. Things seem to be off to a good start until Jordan starts reviewing mystery messages and Grant is getting threatening messages.
With the threats getting worse and their relationship getting stronger can they figure out who the stalker is in time?
THE HUSBAND (21ST Century Courtesan #4) by Pamela DuMond writing as P. S. DuMond. I LOVE this series yall! Its awesome! I do recommend reading the series in order just to better enjoy it. Its the story of Evelyn Berlinger who is a 21st Century Courtsean. Rich, lonely, broken men come to see her. Evie has had a rough childhood and a certain tragic even totally changed her whole world. So now she is an empath and tries to help others with her power. Evie is still grieving over the love of her life Wyatt who she married on his deathbed. Now that he has passed she has mixed feelings about his brother Easton. Add her boyfriend Dylan to the mix and you have a very steamy love triangle! Evie is so confused and literally heartbroken over Wyatt so she doesn’t understand her feelings for Easton or Dylan. If Evie doesn’t settle down soon her past is going to catch up with her and blow everything up. This is such a fast paced, dark read. Be prepared to not put it down until you finish!

Whew! What a spicy read! It was steamy, but full of a plot that kept me turning pages to see everything unfold. I liked Layla from book 3, and was excited to be able to read her story. I love how brave and determined she was, really willing to risk it all. Dereck came off strong from the beginning, but he quickly grew on me. He helped Layla be able to drop her guard with him, and was determined to keep her safe. Overall I enjoyed this read!

This is the fourth book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series. I would suggest that you read all the books in the series in order to get the most out of the series. This is a fast paced story that kept me turning the pages wanting to know what was happening. The characters are amazing and unforgettable. There is danger around every corner. This book is about Dereck and Layla. Dereck has been assigned to a gentleman who gets into the trafficking ring. This is where Dereck meets Layla. Dereck and Layla find themselves in danger.. Will Dereck and Layla have a happy ending or will they find themselves in a deadly situation? I highly recommend this book to see what happens to Dereck and Layla.

This was such a gripping and deep read! I have not read Ms. Fiano before and this could not have been a better introduction to her! This book is everything my dark suspense and romance reader heart could have ever wanted. I loved how the characters felt real and relatable as I read them, almost feeling as if I was right there as they experienced the suspense. I was not expecting that ending but it sure has my heart racing waiting for book two! If you love a bit of a twist here and there and some deep thoughtful undertones to your romance, this is the book for you. I look forward to seeing what else may be available by Vivian Fiano as well.
Relentless is the fourth book in the Billionaire Bodyguard series. You can read it as a standalone, but it’s a good idea to read the previous ones as there are some tie ins. I’m going to start off by saying that the repeated use of the endearment ‘Princess’ grated on me. Pretty sure that’s a personal preference thing, though. Outside of that, the story is pretty good. Definitely full of the drama, danger, intrigue, and steamy scenes you would expect to find in a mafia romance series.

The Husband is the 4th book in the excellent 21st Century Courtesan series by Pamela DuMond. I have been a fan of this series since the first book and was excited to get to read the next instalment in Evie’s story. In The Husband, Evie is grieving over the death of the love of her life Wyatt, who she married when he was dying, but is confused over her feelings for Wyatt’s brother Easton. Added to the mix is her long term boyfriend Dylan, as if her life wasn’t complicated enough. I really loved reading the next instalment of Evie’s story, although I still haven’t come to term with Wyatt’s death. I really hoped that Wyatt would be the man that Evie finally has her happily ever after with but Pamela DuMond has other ideas. I really can’t wait to read the final book in the series to see who finally captures Evie’s heart for good. We get more from Evie’s ‘devoted fan’ in this book and they give away several clues as to their identity which I’m sure will also be revealed in the final book. I’m now rooting for Easton to be the man who finally ensnares Evie. I love the two of them together and their interactions are hot and steamy which is fun to read. This is a great addition to this series. However, I would not advise reading this book without reading the other first as I think this book would be too confusing to read as a standalone.

Relentless is the fourth book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series by Via Mari. It is another engrossing romantic suspense from Via Mari. The story is full of danger, drama, action, mystery, suspense, a sex trafficking ring, secrets, intrigue, chemistry, and a whole lot of sizzle. As with the rest of the series, this book could be read as a standalone, as each book in the series focuses on a different couple. But, having said that, I really recommend reading the previous three books before starting on this one, because not only are they great stories in their own right/s- but there are also recurring characters who you will want to know more about and a bridging storyline with interconnected details, and crossovers of timelines, settings, and events- so knowing what happens in each book will definitely enhance your appreciation of this story, and the series as a whole. I have followed Via Mari from her first book in the Prestian series all the way through all her book, so I know I can always count on her to deliver a superb romantic suspense with palpable tension, sizzling chemistry, dramatic developments, and surprising twists. But it’s not all action and suspense- there is banter, comradery, friendships, lighter moments, and plenty of depth and emotion, which really makes her work so captivating. So, buckle up and get set to follow Dereck and Layla, as all the excitement and drama unfolds!

Four Stars
Dark and beautiful is how I would describe this story. The broken hearts bleed from the pages. The characters were engaged and will have you enthralled from start to finish. To feel what others are feeling but not able to help the one you love haunts Evelyn.I definitely was wrapped up in this story. The author knows how to keep you so involved with the characters that when the bomb drops you feel it on a different level. I felt like I was watching this book come to life with every page. It was fast paced so definitely be prepared to want more.

This is the fourth book in the 21st Century Courtesan series. I highly recommend reading this book from the beginning to get the most enjoyment of this book. This book has a lot of twists and turns, ups and downs. This has a thriller feeling to it as well as romance, not to mention family loyalty, deceit, and revenge. The characters are amazing and engrossed me in the story. There is a fast pace that keeps me turning the pages faster and faster. I was surprised at some of the twists and turns because I didn’t see what would happen to come. I highly recommend this book, but please make sure you read the previous books first to get the most enjoyment of this book. I cannot wait to see what happens next.

The pieces are finally coming together! We will soon know with certainty who the stalker is and their connection with Evelyn and I can’t wait to see if my guess is right or we’re being lead that way only for a last minute giant twist.
I’m not usually a fan of cliffhangers, I’m too impatient to wait for each book to be released only to have to wait. Let me take that back, I say I’m not a fan but I think I like them a lot more than I’m currently willing to admit. This series is one that helped sway me.
Evelyn has been through so much and it’s not over yet. There is so much to this story and trying to keep up with everyone but I love every minute of it.

OMG, need book 2 asap. This book was written so well. It ended and leaves you wanting so much more. You are left wanting more of Jordan and Grant! Their love story is truly erotic. It is hot and steaming but also thrilling all in the same story. I am left wanting so much more!!
I have read a few of Vivan Fiano’s books, and they are always page turners that leave me wanting more, Seductive Prey was definitely amongst those books. Miss Fiano’s word building is incredible and her character descriptions will leave you feeling like her characters are standing right in front of you. Seductive Prey is full of so many plot twists that you find yourself trying to guess what the characters are up to next. Seductive Prey is the first book in this series and this reader personally can’t wait for book two, I’m sure it will be as suspenseful and adventurous as Seductive Prey.
The Husband by P.S. DuMond is the fourth book in the 21st Century Courtesan series. First, make sure you are reading this series in order! Otherwise, you will miss out on so much as the series progresses. This series is different (in a good way) from what I initially expected. This book is darker than some of the others, but it works for the story. There are twists that were unexpected and the ending just leaves you wanting more. I know this series is getting towards the end and it is leaving me excited to see what happens next. I have grown to be interested in all of the characters and the part they play in this drama. I will be waiting for the next book and look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Seductive Prey was well written the story line is amazing. Jordan joins the National Guard where she meets Grant, he sticks up for Jordan when some other guys give her a hard time. Grant is a police officer where he answers a call about a break in at a dance studio that happens to be be where Jordan works. They hit it off from there This book is definitely a suspenseful, romantic, intense read. I can’t wait for the next book.

The Husband was an incredibly addicting read! I was highly intrigued by this series and I’m so glad I started it; this was my first book of the series but I cannot wait to start the series from the beginning to find out how everything started.
I was able to easily piece things together that I missed from not having read the first three books. Even with not having read the series in order I still highly enjoyed this book. I loved how complex and intense the storyline was, with the many characters each with their own connections to Evie. I was able to easily connect with Evie which made this book even more enjoyable.
I can’t wait to see where this author takes this series! And I look forward to reading the first three books asap!

S. DuMond – Review by Kaitlynn Taylor
Oh my goodness; this book is HOT and had my attention from start to finish! This is the first book in the Relentless Trilogy and the first book I have read by Vivian Fiano, but you can bet it won’t be the last; I NEED to know what happens next as this book ends on a cliffhanger!
The Good: The characters are so wonderful. I love how Jordan goes from delicate dancer to badass chick after her training and the way her character develops. Grant is a gem and struggles with real life career issues and struggles that are relevant with current life today. Fiano does such a great job making her characters believable and relatable.
The Great: The plot is spot on brilliance. Fiano weaves a web of suspense, romance, and intrigue that you will have you devouring this book quickly and eager for more. She keeps me on my toes and drops just enough hints and tricks to keep me guessing what comes next!
The Steamy: As I previously mentioned, some scenes in this book are HOT HOT HOT. Fiano didn’t skimp out on the details but walked the line perfectly to keep it classy.
This is a great read; I can’t wait to find out what happens next in Graceful Abduction!
Seductive Prey (Relentless #1) by Vivian Fiano. This is an amazing read. Its my favorite genre, Romantic Suspense. Its the story of Jordan Smith whose dream is to own her own Dance Studio so when she graduates High school she enlists in the Army National Guard to ensure that will happen. Grant Summers grew up with a drug addicted mom so the police were his saviors so he always knew he wanted to be a police officer. Now he’s a Boston Officer and when Jordan has a crime committed at her Studio they meet and sparks fly. They begin dating soon after and can’t get enough of each other but soon they realize they are being stalked or Jordan is anyway. This guy is so taken with Jordan he will do anything to have her including kill her. Will Grant be able to protect Jordan or will he be to late? Read Seductive Prey to find out!
Another great addition to this series! I enjoyed this book from beginning to end! The twists and turn of the world were fantastic and I couldn’t put this one down. I would recommend reading these in order because they’re all fantastic and they deserve to be read! This one is more intense than the others before it but that made it even more enjoyable. I am looking forward to reading more by this author! Happy Reading!!
