Jordan Smith joined the Army Reserves to be able to afford college. On her first day, she meets Staff Sergeant Grant Summers. He tries to come to her aid when some other Reserves talk trash to her, but Jordan handles it well and Summers is surprised that is he attracted to her strength and spunk.
Jordan finishes boot camp and returns home to Boston where her father is the chief of District 5, and she is a dance teacher. Summers also returns to Boston where he is a police officer. The studio where Jordan works is broken into, she fights the attacker, but he gets away. The officer responding to the scene is Officer Summers. The two are delighted to see one another again, and Officer Summers eventually takes Jordan on a date. Soon after the break-in, Jordan discovers she is being stalked by someone. Is her stalker the guy from the break-in or is it someone closer to her?
As a lover of thrillers and romance novels, I have to say this book is top-notch in both categories. It’s an easy read, and Vivian Fiano keeps you guessing. A wonderful job on a book well-written.
The SEAL’s Temptation (Wounded Hearts Book 7) by Jacquie Biggar. I LOVE these books. They are all amazing and each time I read one I think its my new favorite and this one was no different. This is the story of DEA agent Maggie Holt who is suffering from PTSD due to being held captive by a drug cartel. Retired Navy Seal Agent Frank Stein just wants to relax after years of being a Chief Petty Officer. He has a ranch and wants to just enjoy his retirement. Maggie thinks this ranch will be the perfect place to recover. Unbeknownst to either of them the drug cartel has moved into the area in the manner of cattle thieves, escaped convicts and drugs. While the two help Maggie recover they are also fighting the cartel and falling for each other. Will Maggie and Frank be able to finally put the cartel to rest and will they make a go of their budding relationship? Read The Seal’s Temptation to find out!
So wonderful to return to The Broken Bow and the amazing characters that make up the nearby town! Loved reading about Rayna, Thomas and Mason! In Plain Sight differed from the usual romance storyline but that just helped to build the characters and the setting – something different but wonderful. Would definitely recommend this whole series!

I enjoyed this book. This is the fourth book in this series which I highly suggest reading from the beginning as they are that great. This is a well written story that has twists and turns that left me turning pages fast just wanting to see what would happen next. The characters brought the story life on every page. They are relatable and truly made the story for me. This is a fast paced story about romance, revenge, family and loyalty. It is also engaging and entertaining to read. Darkness and broken hearts what more could you want in a dark story. I highly recommend this book and this author. You won’t regret picking up this book

Seductive Prey is book one in The Relentless Trilogy by Vivian Fiano. This gripping story is full of action and suspense and is page turner. Vivian’s writing transports you into the story and the journey of the characters. But it is not all sunshine and roses she certainly puts the characters through many twists and turns and has you on the edge of your seat.
Jordan finds herself with unwanted attention and Grant a devoted police officer is determined to be the one to keep her safe and protect her with his life. The chemistry between these two is so palpable you can feel it. I am waiting with bated breath for the second book for more of Vivian’s writing and her wonderful characters.
The Seal’s Temptation: Wounded Heart is the 7th book in the series. I highly recommend reading the first six books in the series before reading this one. It is a bit laborious to understand who all the characters are and their backstories without having read the previous books. This story mainly focuses on DEA agent Maggie Holt as she struggles to overcome PTSD as well as SEAL team member Frank Stein. Together they work to solve a nearby case alongside fellow agents. Will love blossom between them during that time and while together on Frank’s family’s ranch? Find out in this action packed story!

The SEALS Temptation is book seven in the Wounded Hearts series by Jacquie Biggar. I have not read this author’s work before, so it took a little while to get into the story. But once I did, I could not put it down. Maggie and Frank’s story interested me from the beginning. I love this military romance genre, and having a woman as an agent is not something common, which makes it more exciting. I also love the way of life a soldier. It is very close to my heart as my son is a soldier. The camaraderie and sense of family is paramount and loyalty among brothers dominant in any soldier. It was an exciting and heartfelt joy to read Maggie and Frank’s journey. It was not an easy for them and their lives were constantly fraught with danger, uncertainty and risky situations. Throw Maggie’s partner Adam and you have a nice little love triangle that keeps things very interesting indeed. With passion, discovery and an epic battle of will between these two fascinating characters, this story was engaging and electrifying. There was always something going on and one drama after another to overcome. Overall a intriguing and very busy tale. 4 stars.
Rayna Nydert is a beautiful woman with a successful business growing and selling produce to the locals and in nearby farmers markets, but recently has been full of regret and shame over her part in putting a close friend in danger and Thomas Archer is not letting her forget it easily, and although they once dated, those feelings are well in their past and neither one knows how to deal with that, so they just push each other away, but for different reasons, that is until Rayna finds a young man in one of her fields, he is injured and terrified, but agrees to her help, although he refuses to go to a hospital and this is when she calls in Thomas who albeit is a veterinarian, he has had some medical training on humans as well and this is where everything changes.
As Rayna brings the young man into her home, she tries to talk to him while she is apprehensive waiting for Thomas to arrive and take a look at him and she can tell when he does that this is the last thing that he wants. As he starts to talk to them, he tells them his name and that he has been running with his wounds for three days and that he would rather die than go back to where he was, he has tried to leave before, but he always ended up back with the Smiths. This shocks the two of them and as he takes a look at the injuries, but when the kid announces that he doesn’t know how old he is or even what year it is, it is almost more than Rayna can bear, but the three sit down and eat something while they figure out what to do. Rayna insists that the kid should stay with her, but Thomas isn’t keen on the idea and decides that he will stay as well, but as he hasn’t anything prepared and the kid has nothing but the dirty clothes on his back, Thomas makes a couple of pit stops at home and the local bog name chain store to get supplies. While Rayna unpacks the shopping in the kitchen Thomas takes the clothes and toiletries up to Rayna’s spare room where the kid is just coming out of the shower and when he offers to “pay” for the clothes, the reality hits home of exactly what this kid has been through.
The next morning, the three of them start to have more of a conversation over breakfast and it is apparent just how much this kid has missed out on, but Rayna and Thomas are determined to keep him safe, but in the end they agree that in the end, the decision is up to him, albeit with a few notes of encouragement from Rayna. After a few days where he starts to settle in, the secret comes out and their families find out what has happened and this is where a very quiet investigation is begun into where the kid was being kept, who was doing it and why, but this brings danger to their front doorsteps and things start to go wrong, but things also start to go right as Rayna and Thomas finally start to open up to each other as they grown to know the kid as well. Will Thomas and Rayna be able to keep the kid safe while trying to figure out how to bring down those who hurt him, or will the trail run deeper than anyone expects? This is a thrilling race against time as the group has to find out who is behind everything before the danger comes calling, all the while some of the relationships are strengthened throughout the trying time.

DEA Agent Maggie Holt knows about Hell. Frank Stein knows the signs of PTSD, he’d suffered the symptoms himself as Chief Petty Officer of SEAL Team Five. Can the two of them help each other? Or will their nightmares be too much for them. This novel took me a few to get into. But that’s because of the topic in the novel. This novel shows how two people are just coexisting and not really living.

I enjoyed this suspense-romance story. This is a well written story about off the charts chemistry and a killer who is watching those on who are after them. This is a well written story that has characters that bring the story to life. They are relatable and I enjoyed watching the growth between Officer Summers and Jordan. They are great together as they try to find a killer but yet may find themselves prey. The twists and turns left me turning pages fast and had me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what would happen next. I am glad I picked up this book and I think so will you. I highly recommend this book.

I have enjoyed this romance, suspense, and contemporary series. This is the third book in The Broken Bow series. I have enjoyed the first two books, but I have to say that this book is my favorite. The details in the story are what keeps this story going in my mind’s eye. The characters are engaging and relatable. If you have split directions of a past romantic relationship, would you be able to call him and ask for help? This is Thomas and Rayna’s story. I love Rayna’s character. She is a strong character. She finds a beaten young man in her field and she calls the one person whom she does not want to call Thoms. Thomas has taken a different road from Rayna but he still has feelings for her. This relationship is key to this story. Thomas said he would come and help and that is where the plot thickens. There is something not quite right with the young man left in the field. Rayna starts to see that there is a lot more to this situation than she realized. Will Thomas be able to help Rayna? What exactly is happening with this young man? What will Rayna be willing to sacrifice to help this young man? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens to all involved in this situation.

This book was a slow starter for me at first, but the storyline eventually caught my attention – probably should have started with the first book in the series. Overall, I felt it was a good read with drama, action, intrigue, and romance. The characters were believeable and interesting. Definitely going to go back and read the books from the beginning. I felt ikke I was missing much of the plot not having read the first 6 books. Overall a good read and great way to spend some quiet time.
I was a little concerned when I first picked this book up as it is in the 3rd book in the series, I have not read the first two. I was sucked in immediately, and never felt like I missed anything. I related to more than one of the characters, especially Rayna, as I want to save all kids in the world from pain and suffering. I got lost in this book and was disappointed when it was over, will be going back and reading the other books she has written. I have found a new author I enjoy!!

Five stars
My heart is breaking for the kids in this story. The pain and trauma they will never get over that they will remember for the rest of their lives. The author really had me crying over this story. I couldn’t believe the words I was reading. Though this happens in our everyday life. Children and adults coming up missing and never to be heard from again. The abuse and addiction. This world is corrupt. Rayna is an angel. Her character has to be one of my favorites. She helped a complete stranger for no reason other than it was the right thing to do. Invited him into her home and trusted that he would respect her. I couldn’t imagine being the one listening to that child’s story. I absolutely loved this read. It broke my heart but put it back together in its own unique way.

The author continues to impress me with the story line and character development. This book was a quick read for me and I found it to be just as good as the other books in the series. In Plain Sight is the 3rd book in The Broken Bow Series written by Ashley A Quinn. This book is about a young man named Mason who is found hiding in Rayna’s field one fall evening while she is harvesting crops to sell at the farmers market. She quickly figures out that Mason needs help but he is distrustful of the police or being taken to the hospital. Rayna calls Thomas, her ex boyfriend who is the local vet to help with some of Mason’s injuries. Soon after Thomas gets involved helping Mason, they figure out that Mason is a victim of child trafficking. Rayna & Thomas are both caring adults and know people that can help Mason and hopefully find the other kids that we’re held captive at the same location. This book got my attention pretty quickly. Not only are the characters well thought out but I felt like I was transported into the story. I know child trafficking is a hard thing for many of us to read about but this was written well and got me thinking.

The Seal’s Temptation by Jacquie Biggar Four Stars
The Seal’s Temptation is the seventh book in the Wounded Hearts series by Jacquie Biggar. This is the first book I have read by this author, and I enjoyed this book, even though I wish I had read this series from book one. I will be going back to the beginning and probably re-read this book. I was sucked into this story from the very beginning. The twists and turns have my emotions scrambled. This book is full of action, adventure, action, and romance triangle. This book goes into details about PTSD. I think Ms. Biggar did a great job bring this issue and others to light. I would highly recommend this book, but you should try to read the first six books first.
I cannot get enough of The Broken Bow series by Ashley A Quinn! In Plain Sight is the third in the series, but could be read as a standalone if need be. I personally would recommend that you read the series in order to get the maximum enjoyment of all details and characters that build throughout. In this one we got the story of Rayna and Thomas, and they did not disappoint! I was so sucked in by this book that I read way past my bedtime for the first time in a long time. Three AM came so fast, but I was not one bit disappointed that I got to see how this thrilling romantic suspense novel would turn out. Quinn does a wonderful job of building the story and suspense as you read, that you often find yourself sitting on the edge of your seat. This book is one heck of a ride and may even tug at the emotional heart strings as well. I won’t divulge much more because that would just ruin the fun, but this is one you do not want to miss out on. I can’t wait to see what we will get in book four!

Seductive Prey by Vivian Fiano is the first book in the Relentless Trilogy. This book will absolutely leave you on the edge of your seat and wanting more. Found that I instantly connected with the characters, Grant and Jordan. They worked really well together and were believable right from the start. For me this just added to the story as I felt like I was more engaged with it as a whole. The author has done a great job of creating a book that will have you hooked from page one as well as desperately waiting for book two. This book does end on a cliffhanger but something tells me it is I’ll be worth it! This is well written and an exciting read, everyone should pick this book up today!
I did not realise this was part of a series and is the first book I read in it. Although you don’t need to read them it would probably be best as I think it refers to previous books quite abit. I did really enjoy it though. Full of drama, romance and raw emotion.
‘In Plain Sight’ is a brilliantly written, quick paced story, right from the first chapter. I thought I would be able to put it down but my hands were glued to it, right until the last page. This is also the third book in the series by Ashley A. Quinn. It starts off, 12 years earlier, with Rayna and Thomas trying to figure out their future. It goes from bad to worse and thus, 12 years later, they are on different roads and non speaking terms. Rayna, who is working the farm of her dreams, discovers a young viciously beaten teen in one of her fields. She took one look at him and decided to take him in and swallow her pride and ask for help – help from none other than Thomas. There was many opportunities for crazy and wild conflict but instead the story took more a ‘who done it’ and internal conflict approach. Which actually fit the story and the characters much better. Ashley A. Quinn has really created something special here. This story is more than just about two people that refuse to admit they still love each other. It is about survival, putting others first, friendship, right and wrong and, of course, there is a dash of romance. It truly was an amazing read and I highly recommend too.

4-stars
In Plain Sight was a fantastic read! This was my first book by this author but it won’t be my last. Having said that I can honestly say that this book can be read as a standalone as the author wrote enough details in a recap for me to have a good understanding of the characters. Now that I’ve read this book, I will absolutely be going back to read the first two books of the series.
This story is dark, intense, heart-wrenching and action-packed, a fully entertaining read from start to finish. I ended up reading it in one sitting as I couldn’t bring myself to put it down. I loved all of the detail throughout and enjoyed reading the characters develop from the beginning until the end.
I cannot wait to dive into the beginning of this series.

Thomas has never really forgotten Rayna the one woman who had always had his heart but years before something changed and they ended up leaving each other. So, when he gets a call out of the blue from her that she needs his help he is straight their to help her but will be able to leave at the end or will he pursue what was suppose to be and be in her life forever.
This is the second story in this series and I loved these two characters, the interaction between them sizzled through the book and with the thrilling storyline and gripping scenes you have you turning the pages to find the conclusion in the story. I loved the way the story weaved through the history of these two characters and with the secrets and pressures make this a must read. Although this is the second book in the series you can read this book as a stand alone story but the characters do run through the first two books, I definitely can’t wait to read the next book in this thrilling series.

In Plain Sight by Ashely Quinn is book 3 in the Broken bow series. I absolutely love this Romance- suspense series and the characters in it. I loved reading about Rayna and Thomas I really enjoyed following them through there journey together. There is something about Rayna that I could just relate to. The way Ashley Quinn writes keeps you reading, Once I got stared I was not able to put the book down. What I liked most about this series was I was not able to predict what was going to happen next. I look forward to reading more books by Ashley Quinn and thanks for another great read.

In Plain Sight (The Broken Bow Book 3) By Ashley A. Quinn
Another great book in an already great series. This is the third book in this series and can be read as a standalone but I would suggest reading them in order for a better experience and back story on some of the characters. This story had me on the edge of my seat and also brought me to tears, happy and sad ones. All the emotions I was feeling during this read is what makes this such a great story along with wonderful characters. There are twists and turns I didn’t see coming. I enjoyed watching Rayna, Thomas, and Mason grow in their relationships with each other. You definitely don’t want to miss out on what this book has to offer. I was engaged and entertained throughout the entire book. I highly recommend this book.

In Plain Sight by Ashley A Quinn a fantastic four-star read. This is number three in the Broken Bow series, but you don’t need to have read them all previously I have only read number two and didn’t feel lost, as each one focuses on a different couple its easy to keep up with it all. This story is so much more than it first appears, you have the second chance romance between Rayna and Thomas, and they have some supreme chemistry. There is also an underlying drama and suspense that will snag you and keep you hooked, with a darkness that just edges into the story.
