My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Jordan Smith joined the Army Reserves to be able to afford college. On her first day, she meets Staff Sergeant Grant Summers. He tries to come to her aid when some other Reserves talk trash to her, but Jordan handles it well and Summers is surprised that is he attracted to her strength and spunk.

Jordan finishes boot camp and returns home to Boston where her father is the chief of District 5, and she is a dance teacher. Summers also returns to Boston where he is a police officer. The studio where Jordan works is broken into, she fights the attacker, but he gets away. The officer responding to the scene is Officer Summers. The two are delighted to see one another again, and Officer Summers eventually takes Jordan on a date. Soon after the break-in, Jordan discovers she is being stalked by someone. Is her stalker the guy from the break-in or is it someone closer to her?

As a lover of thrillers and romance novels, I have to say this book is top-notch in both categories. It’s an easy read, and Vivian Fiano keeps you guessing. A wonderful job on a book well-written.
