Being Lost (Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1) by Manda Mellett

5 ++++ Stars

I could not wait to get my hands on this one. We met and visited the San Diego Charter back in Darts Book, as well as learning the story of Dart, the new sitting VP and his adorable wife, Alex. I believe this is also where we first met Lost. Then enter Patsy, who we met in Inks book. I actually didn’t think I’d ever see Patsy and her son “Dan” again. Surprise surprise!!

I’m not even sure where to start with this review except to say I Loved It!! I fell in love with Lost just by his photo on the cover, and learning more about him and his insecurities just strengthened that. Add in that him and Patsy are not spring chickens and I was completely done for. Their story totally touched my heart and will absolutely be one of my favorites of all..Thats not easy to say because they are all special but this one just a bit more to me.

I love that I’m able to be a part of watching a new chapter begin their start within this series. I felt the same way when we met the Colorado chapter and after meeting all of their members I’m chomping at the bit to get my hands on the next one. This author has ruined me for any other MC series. MC’s are one of my favorite genres and Manda checks every single box on my list of what I love most. So many books yet every one of them is different while still holding on to that main important aspect of it all being a family. I’m so looking forward to rereading this whole entire Satan’s Devils world someday.

Super curious about what was going on in the last few pages of this book, and can not wait to see what that is all about. Some answers were never received in this story leaving things wide open for Lost and Patsy. Also no hidden clues about who the next book is about, or if there was I totally missed them.

LOVED IT!!! I NEED MORE!!

TWO HEARTS UNSPOKEN TARGETS (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 11) by Tamara Ferguson is another wonderful story by this talented author. Tamara’s stories always grab me right in the heart and sweep me away especially for the things that soldiers must face after coming home from war. Tamara is a storyteller that brings a story to life. It is a quick read but a good read.

Elizabeth embarks on a new life and adventure to Wisconsin for the betterment of her son.

Zach is a retired air force captain who now resides in Crystal Rock and trying to come to terms with his injuries.
Can Zach learn to love himself again and move forward to allow someone to love him? Could someone like Elizabeth ever like someone like him? Is Kyle’s disability too much for Zach to handle? Will Zach finally find the life he has been searching for?

Perfect for a peaceful afternoon.

I’ve never quite prepared for the stories the Mellett puts together and the journey I’m always taken on. This latest book, taking us to the San Diego chapter, was another emotional ride. Always jam packed with amazing character development and dramatic themes, Being Lost certainly lived up to my hopes and expectations. I fell into this book quickly and devoured every page. Being Lost is the next installment in the Satan’s Devils MC Series by Manda Mellett. This is book one of the San Diego chapter. Ms. Mellett is one of my go to authors. She brings the harsh reality of the MC to light along with the strong love and passion they strive for. Lost is one of my favorite characters in all of the Satan’s Devil’s books. He is strong but doesn’t know it. He cares greatly for his club and wants to protect them at all costs. He has to learn to trust his instincts and Patsy is just the woman to help him. This story had me on the edge of my seat more than once. I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading more of the San Diego Chapter.

I am always excited to get a Manda Mellett MC novel, but this was a nice and new exciting chapter that we get to focus on. Belong Lost is the first of the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego chapter. I love the scenery change and that this one dove head first into the big guy, the president of the chapter, Lost. He is currently looking out for a family as asked by another chapter, but he takes it a bit less serious until drama and danger comes knocking and things are kicked into high gear. The woman of the family, Patsy is just the right mix of confidence and sass that she can hold her own with Lost and the sparks are hard to miss between the two. The road to a happily ever after isn’t necessarily easy but is so worth it in the end. I look forward to seeing what else we get with this chapter!

TWO HEARTS UNSPOKEN TARGETS (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 11)TWO HEARTS UNSPOKEN TARGETS by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Another wonderfully heartwarming story by author Tamara Ferguson. When wounded Air Force Captain Zach Logan and single Mum Elizabeth Bowen meet at the beach at Dragonfly Pointe, their mutual attraction is instantaneous. However Elizabeth, Beth is a Mum to a severely autistic son, Kyle and Zach is battling PTSD making any new relationship complicated. Beth had been a full time accountant but the place she worked at was closing down and as Kyle’s father was long gone out of his special needs sons life, when the opportunity to enrol Kyle in a vocational facility in Wisconsin came up Beth was happy to except it. Meanwhile wounded warrior Zack was searching for a new life for himself having retired and at his friend Luke Bryant’s (from ‘TWO HEARTS SURRENDERED’) invitation he ends up in the the town of Crystal Rock. He accepts a position of administrator at the recently built wounded warrior facility. When Luke meets Beth he can’t deny their chemistry and is ready for a new start and Beth can not believe how excepting Luke is of her sons autism. However Zach is still experiences flashbacks of a gruesome murder and soon both himself, Beth and Kyle are all targeted by the killer.
As usual Ferguson took me on an emotional rollercoaster whilst reading this wonderfully written romance story. I loved the main characters, Beth and Zach, the chemistry between them sizzled off the page when they met and I liked how their relationship developed throughout the story. I was cheering them both on to their happy ever after.

Being Lost (Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1) by Manda Mellett. I LOVE Manda Mellett so much. She has become one of my favorite authors and this series is amazing. Two Hearts Unspoken Targets by Tamara Ferguson is the 11th book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance series. This is another fantastic addition to an already great series.
As with the previous books in this series the author really knows how to take you in a journey. You are right there with the characters through all of it, experiencing exactly what they are. You really do become so connected with the characters.
The story had everything I have come to expect from a Tamara Ferguson story – action, suspense, romance. It was yet another book by her that once I had started I had to finished it all in one sitting. This whole series is fantastic and I would definitely recommend anyone read them.

Being Lost (Satan's Devils MC San Diego #1)Being Lost by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

In Manda Mellett’s Being Lost, we are introduced to the San Diego chapter of her Satan’s Devils MC. Other chapters of the MC – Colorado and Arizona – are already well established in Mellett’s books and San Diego has been mentioned before so it is exciting to get to know it properly!
Lost has made mistakes and trusted the wrong people, and suffered for it. He is still suffering, and worried about what the future could hold for him and the San Diego chapter. But this fear feeds a determination to do the right thing, and a carefulness about where he places his trust. He’s got a good team around him and is willing to work hard.
This story has plenty of tension and action in it. It’s a real page turner! But this doesn’t take away from the romantic story. It’s great to have an older couple as romantic leads, particularly with both of them dealing with the pain they have suffered in the past.
You can absolutely jump in at this story if you haven’t read the others. Mellett gives the reader all the backstory they need to understand what’s going on. That said, the story leads on from the events of Ink’s Devil, the 5th book in the Colorado Chapter series. And if you’re going to read that, you might want the backstory in Devil’s Dilemma at which point you may as well read the whole Colorado Chapter series, and the original Satan’s Devils series, because why not? They’re great books.
For me, this is a five star book. A great addition to a great series – I’m looking forward to reading more from the San Diego chapter!

These characters are complex and relatable, you can’t help but root for them and feel a connection with each ones story to be told. This story had me reading well into the night because I couldn’t put it down. This author knows how to write an MC story that you can get lost in and not want to find a way out of. The characters each bring something unique to the storyline and each one is well developed. The storyline draws you in with it’s perfect pace and well written ideas. I’m excited to see where this author takes readers next. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

Being Lost (Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1) by Manda Mellett was a great 5 star read.
I was pulled in right from the beginning.

It was great getting to see the San Diego chapter. Lost is the prez of this chapter. When another chapter reaches out to them to keep an eye on a mother and her son things take an interesting twist. When Lost meets Patsy there is an instant something between them.

Patsy made some hard choices when she decided to move with her son. She is missing her daughter but knows that she made the right move. When she meets Lost she finds herself very attracted to him. When they finally got together it was great, they are perfect for each other.

Will Lost and the MC be able to keep them safe? Will Patsy and Lost get a HEA?

Overall this was a great read. This is an older group of characters but they pull you in just as much. I really liked all of the characters, they all added a great element to the story. Manda does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. I really enjoyed getting to know this chapter and look forward to reading more from them. 1-click and get started today.

What am I to say about Satan’s Devils? I love Manda Mellett’s other two series about Satan’s Devils. I feel I am with the characters while reading the books. The emotions, adrenaline, and sadness are sp descriptive which makes it easy to follow along with the characters. As for the story, there is some mystery and some romance. It is not your typical romance, there are action and adventure with the romance. I have to admit in the opening of the San Diego chapter, I found that I need Lost. He is trying to keep everything together even if things are coming forward that questions his leadership. Then there is Patsy. She is in a bit of trouble and needs someone to help protect her from her past. Will Lost be able to help Patsy? Will Patsy stop running? I highly recommend the Satan’s Devils series.

*Sigh*

I am pretty convinced that every time I finish a book by this author I have the same response…I want more, OMG that was so awesome, and I need more Tamara Ferguson.

Not even sure how to review her books anymore because I’m out of words to explain how awesome she is. I Love this series and this one touched me a little more because of the circumstances. I have a grandson on the severe end of the spectrum and this story was nothing short of perfection. My heart was completely invested throughout and then add in the suspense and I was a goner. Then as if all of that isnt enough, these books take place in Wisconsin, the place I call home…This book mentioned a lake that I have literally spent a lot of time on as it’s just south of my hometown…

I instantly fell in love with Zach, Beth, and Kyle as well as many of the other characters..This was a touching wounded warrior story that just proves that love is more powerful than anyone realizes.

This is an awesome book, part of an awesome series, written by an awesome author..You must give this a one click, you will fall in love and want the rest of the series.

Being Lost by Manda Mellett a five-star read that will find you. This is number one in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego series and what a start to this amazing series I can’t wait to hear more from this chapter as they have come through the flames and are now rising from the ashes. Normally I’m not one to picture the person on the cover as the character I am reading about, but this was so close I couldn’t help myself, I normally like to imagine my own mental picture as I read, but yummy what a silver fox Lost is. It was so nice seeing an slightly older couple as the main characters, they like the chapter have come through the fire and are making the most of the life they have, even if its not what the want or need just yet. These characters are just sublime, and once again show what a great writer Manda Mellett really is, I have yet to find a story that I haven’t devoured.

When you feel the world is against you, your stars align and things work out for the best but will love also finds it way.

Two Hearts Unspoken Targets is a true romantic story involving Zach a retired war vet and Beth a single mother who has a young autistic son, will true love find a way for these two great characters. A chance meeting on a beach Kyle, Beth’s son runs into Zach as soon as their eyes meet they both know something special can happen.

As the story goes on you find out that Zach becomes Kyle’s teacher but as the book unfolds you get to see the insecurities from both Beth and Zach, both not knowing if they deserve happiness.

I have read the majority of the Two Hearts wounded warrior romances and this is my favourite, the characters in this series are flawed but they have the strength and determination to carry on and pursue what they want and need. The characters are always well rounded and written excellently.

The stories are always emotional but you don’t feel pity for the characters Tamara writes about, I always feel like I am living the story with them as a friend hoping and praying this work out in the end.

I recommend this book and the series, if you have read this wonderful author you are missing out.

The authors’ writing for this story was so smooth and effortless – it was a real pleasure to read. I loved the age of the characters too, it’s nice to read stories about a variety of characters and I loved Patsy and Lost – they were really great characters to read about. I really enjoyed the slower pace to this story, its different to what we usually get form this author but 100% perfect for these characters!! I am really excited to read more from the San Diego MC!!

Being Lost (Satan's Devils MC San Diego #1)Being Lost by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Being Lost: Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1 by Manda Mellett is the next first book in the Satan’s Devils saga that is set in the San Diego chapter. MC President Dart is plagued with a ghost from the past, the old Prez Snake (who was disposed of in an earlier book) is keeping him awake and making him doubt his abilities. Patsy is a loving mum who gave up everything in order to ensure that her youngest son had the best chance of making a new life for himself. Under the protection of the MC Patsy finds her life may be in danger from the very crime boss that made her son need to go into hiding. Lost has an affinity for Patsy and their romance starts to blossom while the MC also comes up with a plan to keep Pasty safe. I am already a big fan of the Arizona Satan’s Devils books, so it was enjoyable to see how the San Diego chapter had changed in the last three years. As with all the other books Satan’s Devils series this book is perfect for those who like an alpha biker doing all he can to protect his woman, with a lovable cast of supporting characters that you just can’t help wanting to learn more about. Looking forward to the next book.

Being Lost (Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1) by Manda Mellett , is a great love story. A classic woman in trouble, man stops to help read. It is all that and more. Plenty of action and suspense. Lost is a man unsure of himself and in bondage to his past. Patsy and Lost together have certain aspects of their past they must deal with in order to forge a future. When we allow ourselves to be chained to the past we can never move forward. And sometimes the forward is such a rich adventure, it would be a shame to miss it. This story illustrates that. Be forewarned, there is much mature language in the story and some very mature situations.

Martimus (Feisty Lawyers Book 5) by Seelie Kay was a great 5 star read.
I was pulled in right from the beginning. This was a great quick read. There are socialites that have gone missing, which includes a former vice president’s daughter.

Who is involved? Can Cate and the team solve the mystery?

Cate goes undercover trying to get information on the missing. I loved her possessive boyfriend Hazelton, he isn’t really thrilled about all the men eyeing up Cate. He is a former Navy Seal and can be very intimidating.

We get twists and turns, action, mystery, suspense and so much more. You can read it as a stand alone but reading in order will help you connect with the characters better. My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Satan’s Devils world is probably one of the favorite series of books that I have ever read. They get better every time a new book is released. I feel like these guys are all a part of my family now…and I learn more about them as each book comes out.
Lost is the President of the San Diego club. The previous President did the club dirty and they have been trying to recover ever since. Lost is still unsure if he is doing right by all the members that rely on him.
Patsy has recently moved to San Diego to be with her son. They are starting over and no one is supposed to know who or where they are. When they find themselves in danger, Lost steps in to protect them.
Both Lost and Patsy have been burned by their exes in the past…and are both hesitant to start something. I enjoyed the fact that they were older and had life experiences that shaped their characters. Manda Mellett has, once again, written an amazing book that I thoroughly enjoy. I am looking forward to the next book!

Finally getting a break, they realize that they can’t send in one of their own so they pull a favour from MI Six. Agent Tillie severely injured some of their operatives so they decided to borrow her to go undercover for this case. Give her a chance to redeem herself. The chase leads from Morocco to the ocean floor and back to Spain. There is no lack of action and intrigue in this story. It is filled with suspense, drama and twists and turns that will keep you turning those pages.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Martimus is the fifth book in the Feisty Lawyer’s series. You can read this as a standalone, but you’ll probably have a better experience if you read the previous ones to get the background on the other characters.

I like the premise of this book. I had a difficult time getting past the way the main character, Cate, was written when she has to slip into her undercover role. There is something about intelligent women acting less than their smarts that just grates on me when it is written in certain ways. Now, on the flip side of that, I did feel an emotion when I read those parts, so the author has definitely given you an emotional connection. In that respect, it is written in a way that does engage you.

Martimus is full of action, suspense, and mystery as the characters are searching for missing socialites. It also has some steamy romance to spice things up. The use of the underwater habitat was interesting and gives added dimension to the story.

Overall, once I got past my initial aversion to the previously mentioned aspect, it was an entertaining read and kept me turning the pages.

This is the 5th book in this series and I’ve read all of the books before. I love this series and this author’s style of writing, the way she can merge in storylines and although being a partly romantic series she has a way of making the romance only come forward when needed, while you’re focused on the suspenseful part of the series.

I really liked this one, and it was nice getting to see the gang again. I loved the lab under water and would have loved spending a whole lot more time down there, this fascinates me and loved this addition to the story.

I highly recommend reading all of this series since the characters are in and out of all the books, you’ll find that you love some and then some you’ll have a little less love for but as a whole it all works perfectly.

This is a very quick one sitting read

Loved it

Martimus is the intriguing fifth instalment in the Feisty Lawyers Series by Seelie Kay. This is another clever, complex, and well developed story- intriguing and suspenseful- and in true Seelie Kay fashion, it packs quite a punch!
This is a quick and easy read with all the elements needed to make it an engrossing read:
-Missing young wealthy socialites with influential parents- one of which being the former VP’s daughter. Check
-A mysterious and state of the art underwater habitat dedicated to pharmaceutical research. Check
-A bit of a mystery surrounding the fact that the facility uses prisoners for labour, but they are never heard from again. Check
-A beautiful Agent and her protective former Navy SEAL lover, caught up in all the intrigue and action. Check
-A plan to infiltrate Martimus and find out exactly what is going on. Check
-Plenty of action, suspense, mystery, dramatic developments, twists and turns, and edge of your seat reading. Check
-A wily adversary. Check
-Danger and intensity at every turn. Check
-And a tense race against time. Check

Definitely one of my favourites of the series!

Thank you, Seelie Kay!

Martimus (Feisty Lawyers Book 5) by Seelie Kay – Review by Sunday Barnaby

Martimus (Feisty Lawyers Book 5)Martimus by Seelie Kay
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Martimus by Seelie Kay
Five Stars

Martimus is the fifth book in the Feisty Lawyers series by Seelie Kay. This is one of my favorite series, and this book may be my favorite so far. I suppose you could read this book as a standalone, but I don’t know why you would want to miss out on the great stories from the first four books. Ms. Kay weaves great stories with very opinionated characters. I couldn’t put this book down. It’s full of action, adventure and hot steamy romance. I would highly recommend this book, series and author. I can’t to read more from Ms. Kay.

Being Lost (Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1) by Manda Mellett – Review by Faith Jackson

Being Lost (Satan's Devils MC San Diego #1)Being Lost by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book, along with all the others I’ve read from Manda Mellett, are beautifully written and every character has great purpose. I think she brings out the best in her characters as she’s done with these two. In this book, we meet Lost and we meet Patsy, who unknowingly come into one another’s lives for a purpose bigger than the two of them.
Lost is the definition of his name as he blindly followed Snake, the late president of the MC. The problem with Snake was he was his namesake as well: He’d planned a mutiny under Lost’s nose as he never suspected anything. Lost knows his faults better than anyone else: He’s made mistakes, lost everything, and knows failure. That is until he meets Patsy, who for the sake of her adult children, needs to be protected and Lost is ready to step up to the plate to do what it takes. Lost ignores his gut to scare her off but he does have doubts of his own before he steps up.
Patsy believes she made the right choice to start over but now she has to step out to help her adult kids but she has to shield their identity until they’re discovered. Satan’s Devils are there in the knick of time to save the day. As an older woman and a more experienced woman, Patsy doesn’t need a man to rescue her but who is she to turn down help when she desperately needs it and she knows she has to face the fears she’s been running from.
In order to save Lost, Patsy has to instill confidence and a sense of worth into him so he can not only step up to protect her but to protect the MC as well. Again, I cannot get enough of this writer and her books!
