Moonlit Mirage: A Cook Islands Romance (Moonlit Destination Series) by Amy McKinley. I love Amy McKinley so when I see her name I read it. This book was no exception. It’s a slight version of the Grey Ghost books and I love those. Its about Nadia Bennett and Cade Malone. Cade is in a horrible car accident and Nadia saves him but he doesn’t get to thank her. She has become something he can’t get out of his head. Nadia risked everything by saving Cade but it was so worth it. It was the risk of a lifetime and it was all worth it even if she loses everything because of it. Cade vows to find her again and he won’t let her go next time. Read Moonlit Mirage to find out what happens. I loved this book!
Moonlit Mirage: A Cook Islands Romance by Amy McKinley is part of a Moonlit Destinations series. This book can be read as a stand-alone as it is a complete novella. I didn’t realise before starting this story that it had a crossover with the authors Gray Ghost series, which is a series I already love. However I soon figured it out and it made this book automatically better. This book had all the things I have come to expect from this author – intrigue, suspense, action, romance. It hooked me immediately and I couldn’t put it down once I had started. I read the entire book in one sitting. This was a great start to a new series and I can’t wait to see what is to come next.
Moonlit Mirage – A Cook Islands Romance is the first in a new Moonlit Destination series by the amazing Amy McKinley. I have become a huge fan of Amy McKinley, in particular her Gray Ghost series so did not hesitate to jump headfirst into this book. To my great delight I discovered it has a crossover to the Gray Ghost series with Hannah and Jack making an appearance. This book is a novella so doesn’t go into the great depth that a typical Amy McKinley book will take you but she still managed to write a suspenseful story that gripped me straight away and kept me glued to the very end a few hours later. I did not put this book down until the very end. The book has a very exciting start with Nadia helping Cade Malone escape from his car when he was driven off the road into a river. However Nadia slipped off as soon as she released Cade and he always wondered why she had done that. The events of that fateful night never left the 2 of them so when they met several years later they were drawn straight to each other. In typical Amy McKinley style you just know that there is so much in both of their pasts that will both put them at danger and also blow apart any relationship that they might have forged with each other and this is no different. It’s filled with excitement, danger and romance. What more could you ask for? If this novella is any indication of the series that will develop from this story then I can’t wait to see what delights Amy McKinley has in store. I, for one, will definitely be reading.
Moonlit Mirage: A Cook Islands Romance is the first book in the Moonlit Destinations series by Amy McKinley. It’s a superb romantic suspense- with a bit of a crossover with The Gray Ghost Series. I love Ms. McKinley’s books, so it was a no-brainer when this popped up on my feed. But having The Gray Ghost connection made this book even more intriguing for me. This is right in Ms. McKinley’s wheelhouse- romantic suspense done right. We dive right into the action from the get-go, and I was definitely all in right from the very first page. The story has action, adventure, mystery, danger, suspense, romance, intrigue, emotion, spice- with plenty of dramatic and surprising developments that kept me glued to the pages. You don’t need to have read The Gray Ghost series to fully follow and enjoy this book- but having read them I can vouch that they add a lot more ‘flavour’ to your overall reading experience of this book. Now I am really looking forward to reading the rest of this series!!!

Moonlit Mirage: A Cook Islands Romance (Moonlit Destination Series) by Amy McKinley was an excellent novella. I finished this book in one sitting. Case was Nadia’s mark. She was supposed to kill him but saved him instead. Disappearing, their paths cross again years later. There is a strange connection neither can explain.
I loved Cade and Nadia. They were amazing. Nadia was so lethal. Having read many of the Gray Ghost books I understood the type of training she went through to become who she was. Cade was a hunk. I liked that he took care of himself and branched off on his own after the night of the crash. This story was excellently written with a good plot and climax. McKinley did an awesome job with characters and scenery. I highly recommend this book.
I seriously love the suspenseful romances from Amy McKinley. I fell in love with her Grey Ghost series and was super excited when I found characters and small tidbits of it in this new series, the Moonlit Destination series. I loved how this book didn’t mess around, it just took off with a big jump and never slowed down until the final few chapters that brought it all together. This book read super quickly and was one that just kept you glued to the kindle until it was done. I loved how it was sort of a simpler read than past novels. Almost as if things were just simplified and not messy. The story was focused on a few things and didn’t branch in a million directions. I was enamored with the relationship that is featured between Nadia and Cade and it kept me rooting for them to find that happily ever after all the way until the end. I am excited to see what will come next in both this series and if we will get more in fact of the Grey Ghost peeps and stories that we love. I am sure that I will be in love with them just as much as I have before.
This is a short story filled with action. These two characters met in the past made a connection then met again in the future. Not sure if they will be able to overcome their past when all the cards are laid on the table.
Each of these characters have depth to them. More than I even thought. The story flowed along smoothly and drew me in. Overall it’s a easy read with suspense mixed in. I have read the Gray Ghost Series and this easily falls in line with those.

Oh my word!! WOW!! Not sure where to start with this review….
This is my second book by this author and I’m completely blown away, like sitting here trying to figure out what I just read. I have to confess that when I was at the very beginning I was a bit worried because I was more than a little confused as to what was happening, but that lasted about 5 minutes and then I was so fully immersed in this story that putting it down physically hurt…then at 5% left I closed the book and immediately went to see if the second was out yet because I was scared to death to finish it, I didn’t want to finish it! In looking for the second (which to my sadness is not out yet) I found the novella that came out last year..I quickly purchased that and will be starting that the second I’m done with this review.
No book I’ve ever read has matched a title more than this book! My mind is still all jacked up, there are so many moving parts of this story that take your emotions, squeezes the life out of them then twists them up and has you questioning so many things about how you feel about certain characters in this book. Then add in the twists and turns that have you spinning like a top and I’m telling you right now I feel completely raw.
I’m not even going to attempt to sum up this storyline…the author’s blurb is enough. I am going to attempt to convince anyone that loves to read to buy this book. I’d say buy the novella and this one even if I haven’t read the novella yet, I knew without a doubt I had to have it. Some of the content of this story was completely cringe worthy but that didn’t stop me from becoming completely invested in these characters.
I will be the first in line to buy the next book and will be stalking or I mean following this author everywhere waiting for news on the next!
As I mentioned above..Completely blown away with this authors writing style and the way she made me feel the emotions described.

I loved reading Moonlit Mirage: A Cook Islands Romance (Moonlit Destination Series) by Amy McKinley. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and I didn’t want to put it down until the last page. The book has romance and is at times suspenseful. I enjoyed reading about the characters of Nadia Bennett and Cade Malone. These two have a connection and strong feelings for each other. What does the future hold for Cade and Nadia? Will a secret from Nadia’s past destroy their chance at having a relationship? Read this book to find out. Nadia and Cade are characters that I couldn’t help but want them to find happiness. The story flows smoothly and the author writes in such a way the I feel like I am right there with the characters. Don’t miss out on reading this amazing book. I would highly recommend it.

Find out what happens next in this absolute must read!
Moonlit Mirage by Amy McKinley was a really good novella! Super quick, easy read, it has the suspense, drama, slight mystery and romance that makes for a great classic. I read this book in a matter of a few hours, but it felt much longer by how I got pulled into the story and was experiencing everything that Cade and Nadia was experiencing. There was some surprising twists I didn’t expect, and it just made the story that much better. Great storyline and plot, and I loved the location chosen for the book! It doesn’t get much better when you have a great story set in the beautiful scenes of an island. This is story for all ages, and I highly recommend!
I loved this book. This is a short story that is packed full of romance and steam. This author has fast become one of my go to authors. This is a well written story that I read in one sitting. It is a fast moving story that has characters that bring the story to life. Cade is saved by an angel who he never thought he would see again until he did. Nadia has a past colides with the present and threatens their relationship. Find out if Nadia will take a chance on love and if fate will allow them a HEA. I highly recommend this must read story.

So after reading Covert Threat and the little snippet at the end about finding out what Hannah was up to I had to grab this book. This is kind of a part of The Gray Ghost series with a few of the characters crossing over, this was a super quick read that was full of all kinds of content, leaving out all the extra info that is normally a part of longer stories, yet still contained everything you expect when reading anything by this author. It jumped right in (lol you’ll understand why that was kinda funny when you read it) and had me on the edge of my seat right from the get go. Completely curious where this newer series will go, not sure if it will still be part of The Gray Ghost or what this author has in mind but I’m completely ready to find out because I love this all taking place in The Cook Islands, I could almost visualize everything that was mentioned in this story.

This is my first book by Manda Mellet. This isn’t the typical book I would read, I thought it was a good book, though I read this as a stand-alone, I would recommend reading the complete series so you can follow the flow of the series. Briefly here is the setup of this book, Beth and Ink meet at the wedding. They agree to have one night together but they didn’t expect what would happen. Beth is opposite to Ink She doesn’t have a lot of men in her life whereas Ink isn’t a one-woman kind of man. Want to know more read the Series!

I love mafia, murder, all that dark dangerous stuff so when I saw this book I knew it was for me. But WOW! It even blew me away. Its all the things a Mafia book should be and more. After he had his way with her he ordered her murdered. This was an exciting thrill ride which sent me on an emotional roller coaster. I loved this book! It had everything; action, drama, suspense, love, and hot sex. This is the first book that I have read from this author and I’m so happy to have discovered her. Her writing is exceptional. She has a way of pulling you in and keeping you enthralled. The story was well thought out and complex. It wasn’t just an MC story. The characters are well rounded and relatable. Being the fifth book in this series, I had no problem following the story line. The story centred on Ink and Beth with recurring characters from previous books. I fell in love with theses characters and definitely plan on reading the whole series.

Ink’s Devil (Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter #5) by Manda Mellett – Review by Sam Sheerin, 5 stars This is my first read by Mandy and what can I say, this has everything I could ever ask. Heat, passion, vengeance, love/hate, family feuds. I love how Mandy did the three person POV which totally worked and you could see the strong family relationship bonds that are evident throughout the book. Ink and Beth are one of the cutest couples but if you could picture them knowing what you know you wouldn’t see them together at all. The MC has a tight knit family appeal, brother in arms and all. Look forward to reading some of the other Satan’s devils books

Brutal & Raw: Mafia Romance & Psychological Thriller (Beneventi Family Book 1) by Sonya Jesus. WOW what to say. It is gruesome, it is so very dark and twisted, it is gritty and raw, it is violent and it is I nothing like I have read before and it is like watching a horror movie, a train wreck and a massacre and not being able to look away. But you know what? I could not put it down. Sonya always writes shock value and with this book she has certainly done that and more. I often felt sick and my heart was in my throat, but I had to know where it was going and what was going to happen. Underneath all of this darkness is a love story that is so tragic and twisted but had you feeling for them. Sonya writing is so vivid it is not hard to believe the world and the characters she has brought to life.
I am not going to share any of the book with you this time because I think you need to read it for yourself and see where you stand.
If you love something that will make you sick to your stomach and is so depraved you can’t imagine, then this is a book for you.

Wow!! This book certainly lives up to the title- Brutal & Raw!!! This latest offering from Sonya Jesus is a dark, gripping, and intense ride. The action starts right from the beginning, and drags you into the story kicking and screaming. So many times I wanted to shut the book and turn away from the bloody and violent details, but the story is so compelling I really needed to know how everything turns out. The characters are fully realised individuals, with their own personalities, depth, and flaws. There is definitely a love/hate relationship with them, for me- the MC’s really messed with my emotions as I really felt for 327 and everything she endured. I wanted to hate Breaker and did at times, but my heart broke for how he became the brutal man he is. He is such a complicated mix and that is what both drew me to him and repulsed me at the same time. Then there are the supporting characters, who got as much development as the MC’s. Sonya Jesus unleashes the monsters as there are some totally despicable psycho’s to be found between these pages! This book is not for the feint of heart- there are gruesome and shocking developments that will twist your heart, turn your stomach, and leave you reeling! So, consider yourself warned!!! This is definitely a series I have to follow- so bring on Book #2!!

What an amazing book! This one grabbed my attention from the summary and the amazing cover and then just never let go. There are many different characters that are introduced besides the two main ones. They range from helpful to the downright dangerous. Some of them you have to wonder about their motivations, and some are only out for themselves. I found myself reading far into the night to find out the ending. The author did an amazing job of making me feel like I was there with the characters. This is the first book in a series and after reading it I can’t wait for the next one.

Wow that was one heck of a ride with Brutal & Raw: Mafia Romance & Psychological Thriller, the Beneventi Family. I could not put this book down, literally from the moment I saw the cover. Once I did have it I couldn’t wait to see if it the story inside would live up to the epic cover that graces this novel. I have always appreciated the way Sonya Jesus can take a dark and twisty world and still make it feel as if you are reading a fairy-tale at times. This one however takes the cake, and has become my favorite of her to date!
In Brutal & Raw we have the story of 327, a woman who has found herself among the worst of the worst and in a mafia ring she can’t escape. She meets Breaker there and he completely shatters her first impressions about all of it. Breaker is one of those Alpha’s that you want to hate and not fall for but I can assure you that by the end it will be hard to deny the goodness that hides in the soul bathed in darkness. I loved all the twists and turns and I can’t wait to see where things will go with the next book.

Brutal & Raw by Sonya Jesus was a thrilling read. I could not put this book down. I was shocked at first with how quickly the author moves the reader through the terror and horror of what the mafia was doing. Wow. I was at the edge of my seat. I also lived the main characters and how well they were developed. They were easy to visualize as the story progressed and realistic. This was such an invigorating and addictive read. I highly recommend it.

Do you want a dark story that will keep you reading into the night? How about on the edge of your seat? Well I couldn’t put this one down! The story left me Brutal and Raw! This isn’t your normal hearts and flowers read. It is dark, suspenseful and thrilling. The characters are evil, difficult and manipulative. I couldn’t get enough of them! Being inside Breaker’s head…I am twisted up! I can’t even say whether I like or hate Breaker for his choices and decisions. 327 is strong! She struggles with herself over thoughts and feelings, living or not living. Does she want to be free of him or free with him?
This is not my first book by this author. Each one is better than the last. This story blows me away! The characters are so hard and difficult but yet a small glimmer of softness. But Day-Um she knows how to manipulate my heartstrings with them. I will tell you she doesn’t give all the answers. I can’t wait for the next one!

I loved this book. This is the first book in this author’s new series, I can’t wait for the second book. I have read all of this author’s books and this is my favorite yet so far. This is a well written story that has a little bit of everything in it including suspense that left me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what was lurking in the shadows. Her characters are connectable and both good and bad which makes the story engaging and a page turner. Lyla is on the run from the mafia boss but she is also the one that has the control to bring his organization down. She is a great, strong character that has a great control but what will she do with it? I highly recommend reading this book and find out what happens next.
