Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes is another captivating, read that can be read as a stand-alone. Tamera Ferguson is one of my go-to authors, she continues not to disappoint us with her amazing writing, storyline and even better characters. This read draws you in from the very beginning right until the very end. I absolutely loved following Ben & Samantha’s, it has been filled with romance, suspense & action. This read like the rest in the series was easy to read, it flowed effortlessly from chapter to chapter and made it impossible to put down! I can’t wait to read more from this series and more from this author!
Moonlit Mirage is a novella in the Moonlit Destination series. It can be read as a standalone.
This story starts off with an action sequence and doesn’t slow down. Since it’s a novella, the details aren’t as fleshed out, but you still feel like you got a great tale out of it when you’re done. I enjoyed the set up to the romance. It gives you a fast, but solid, connection point so that it doesn’t feel rushed.
Devil’s Spawn: Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter #6 by Manda Mellett is a great unique story. I have loved every book I have read by Manda but this one tops them all. It is a very emotional read and tells the story of two of the MC members at the same time. The MC brothers are people I would want in my life and that is because Manda writes them like they are real people who pop off the page. These are alpha men who love deeply and protect what is theirs fiercely.
Lizard has everything he has always wanted, great brothers, freedom to do as he pleases and a job he loves, plus his choice of club women as he wants. However, a twist of fate shows what he has been truly missing and leaves him broken for what he has done.
Mace can’t help his protective nature when a broken and battered woman and child comes into the limelight. What he never wanted is right in front of him. Not only that but is he losing his best friend? What he and the club come to find is that things are not always as they seem and helping could cost them everything when try to help one of their own battle his demons after his mind is broken.
I know one day this series will end but I am not ready for it. I truly love this series and the associated series.

This is a quick read that is filled with romance and suspense. We meet Cade right before he is run off the road in a hit that was supposed to kill him. He is saved by Nadia right before she runs away and disappears. Flash forward five years and their paths cross once again. In order for them to have a chance at any type of relationship, Nadia is going to have to come clean about who she is and what she did. However, this could put her in danger and force her to run again. Is Cade worth staying for? Can Cade have feelings for her once he knows the truth? These questions are answered in a story that was fast to read but so full of actual story!
I enjoyed Cade and Nadia’s story. Even I was waiting with anticipation to know the whole truth behind Nadia’s actions. It is a quick insta-love story that has enough drama to keep it believable and kept me turning the pages.
Moonlit Mirage : A Cook Island Romance ( Moonlit Destination Series) by Amy McKinley 4 Stars
This was such a nice short read. I really like to find books I can fit in quickly. The author is amongst one of my favourites.
Nadia and Cade have a very unique chemistry. I like how the author is able to bring them to life. I was hooked from page one and there was just enough drama mixed in. I look forward to reading more from this author. Reviewed by @caraleeloonat
Nadia was a russian spy who mission was to kill Cade. However, she fell for him so instead of following orders she saved him.
Fast forward 5 years later and they meet again on an island. The attraction between them is so strong but is it strong enough to withstand the secrets of thier pasts.
Moonlit Mirage is the first book in Amy McKinley’s Moonlit Destination series. It ties in with her Gray Ghost series, with a few background characters from the familiar team, but is shorter and contains less action. The focus is on romance and character development, in a book that can easily be read in one sitting. Cade was the reason Nadia defected. The target she couldn’t leave to die. Nadia was Cade’s angel. The face he could never forget after she saved his life and disappeared. When chance brings them together years later, on a beautiful island that both have come to as an escape, neither can resist the chance to get to know each other properly. But Nadia’s past threatens to catch up with her, as she struggles to keep secrets from Cade. This is a captivating book. All through I was desperate to find out why Nadia had saved Cade, and why he was targeted in the first place. Although short, there were plenty of interesting details like Nadia’s efforts to increase the time she could hold her breath underwater, which added depth to the story. For me, this is a four-star read. I’d recommend it to fans of the Gray Ghost series, and if you haven’t read the series yet this would be a great way to get a taste of McKinley’s writing style.
This book was great! Every single one of the books that I have read by this author has been awesome and this one is no exception. The author has a way of pulling you in and keeping you nterested throughout the entire story and I couldn’t get enough. The main characters in this book are Ben and Samantha. They meet by chance in Iraq and immediately see that there is a connection between them but they part ways and dont see each other again until a few years. Ben doesnt want to deny the connection he is feeling but Samantha wants to run the other way. They have a long way to go if they want a HEA between them. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and I would recommend this book to a friend! Happy Reading!
Moonlit Mirage – A Cook Islands Romance was a great 5 star read and part of the Moonlit Destination series.
I was pulled in right from the beginning with Cade’s accident and being saved by a woman he considered his Angel. She stayed with him under water until help came making sure he had air, then she vanished. Nadia took a big risk helping Cade.
We jump ahead a few years and Cade and Nadia come face to face again. Cade recognizes Nadia from the accident, he is immediately drawn to her. They both feel the attraction and decide to go with it. Nadia is taking a big risk but she’s willing to chance it.
What will happen if Cade discovers her secret?
Overall I really enjoyed this book. You get suspense, excitement, romance and so much more. Amy pulls you in with her writing, you feel like you’re right there with the characters. This can be read as a stand alone. I’m looking forward to reading more from this series. 1-click and get started today.
So I will start off this review by saying that I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this book. Once I started however it was hard to put it down. Sonya Jesus has this uncanny ability to really put you into the book and make you feel like you’re right there with the character as she winds down a path you don’t really see coming. It’s such an intense read that is a little messed up in the best possible way if that makes sense. I hate horror movies but this was a fascinating read!

This is a series I have loved from the very beginning, this book is my favorite yet. I highly suggest reading this series from the beginning, it is that good. This author has fast become one of my favorites with her great writing style and characters that pop off the pages. This book is written like there are two stories in one. Both stories are heart breaking but also heartwarming. The twists and turns will take you on a roller coaster ride for sure. There are some dark parts and may have some triggers for some but if you can get past that it is an awesome, must read story. The characters have such chemistry and are supportive of each other. To see their story grow together was just amazing. I highly recommend reading this book, you won’t regret picking it up.

Devil’s Spawn (Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter #6) By Manda Mellett 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the book Devil’s Spawn (Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter #6) by Manda Mellett. It is the next exciting story in a series that I have loved reading since the first book. The story includes suspense, danger, and romance. I enjoyed reading about the characters of Vanna and Mace. Vanna is a strong, independent woman. She has had to be as it has fallen to her to raise her son when her husband’s brain injury caused him memory loss, unable to remember either of them. Now she is wanting to get Cas, her son, help as he is going down the wrong path. Will her husband still not remember her and his son? Mace is a man who doesn’t feel the need to settle down. He is fine being a bachelor. Why does he feel the need to protect the girl who has come to them for help in removing a tattoo? What does the future hold for Vanna? What does it hold for Mace and the Colorado Chapter of Satan’s Devils? Read this book to find out. This story had me on the edge of my seat and turning pages to find out what is going to happen next. I love the characters that are new and enjoy reading about the ones from the previous books. This series just keeps getting better with each story I read. Don’t miss out on this story and series. Highly recommended.

While serving as a Marine, my husband survived when an explosion took out the transport he was travelling in. He lived but suffered a traumatic brain injury which wiped his memory.
What do you do when your husband doesn’t recognise you or his young son? What if living together is doing neither of you any favours? After two years of trying and we still weren’t more than strangers, I accepted defeat and we parted.
Cas, our son, has grown into an unruly teenager, getting into trouble and needing a father’s guiding hand. At my wits’ end, I set out to find his dad, hoping after all these years, he might have his memory back, or at least, be persuaded to play some part in the life of the son he didn’t accept he had.
Mace
Lizard had been right to worry about the girl wanting her ‘Property of’ tat removed. Putting a patch on someone has meaning in our world. Before we covered it up, we needed to discover who had claimed her as theirs.
I’m a confirmed bachelor, but when we found out who’d put their name on her back, I was one of the first to offer my protection to her, and the kid she brought along with her.
Manda’s life’s always seemed a bit weird, starting with a childhood that even today she’s still trying to make sense of, then losing her parents in the late teens. Going from the tragic to the bizarre, who else could be unlucky enough to have had two car accidents, neither her fault, one involving a nun, and another involving a police woman?
There isn’t enough space to list everything that’s happened to Manda, or what she’s learned from it. But by using the rich fabric of her personal life, psychology degree, varied work experiences, and amazing characters she’s met, Manda is able to populate her books with believable in-depth characters and enjoys pitting them against situations which challenge them. Her books are full of suspense, twists and turns and the unexpected.
Manda lives in the beautiful countryside of Essex in the UK, the area’s claim to fame being the Wilkin’s Jam Factory at nearby Tiptree. She can usually find jars of jam which remind her of home wherever she goes. As well as writing books and reading, Manda loves walking her dogs and keeping fit. She lives with her husband of over 30 years, who, along with her son, is her greatest fan and supporter.
Manda is thankful that one of the more unusual, and at the time unpleasant, turns her life took, now enables her to spend her time writing. Confirming, in her view, every cloud has a silver lining.

Amy McKinley is becoming one of my go-to stand out authors! She continues to create reads that captivate you and bring you along on her characters journeys. While this is a quick read it doesn’t lack in anything its full to the brim with romance, steaminess, suspense & action! This is a fast-paced read that flows effortlessly and is well developed with amazing characters and a storyline that draws you in from the very beginning. I can’t wait to read more from this series and this author!
I am such a sucker for Tamara Ferguson’s Two Hearts Wounded Warrior series. I have yet to read one by her that I didn’t fall completely head over heels in love with and TWO HEARTS UNLIKELY HEROES is no exception to the rule. I adore that she keeps her stories realistic and reasonable but real and raw. Often there is some sort of touch wounded warrior stuff that can be a heavy topic to discuss or write about but Tamara does it flawlessly and with a passion that is evident from the very first page until the bittersweet last few words.
In TWO HEARTS UNLIKELY HEROES we get the story of Sam and Ben. Sam was attacked brutally and lost some of her friends as well as gained injuries in a convoy attack. One of the men that was with her, the one who made sure to save her life, is Ben. These two find themselves thrust into each others lives and what ensues is some pretty awesome story to read! I can’t wait to see what we will get next from Tamara Ferguson!
Moonlit Mirage is a novel in the Moonlit Destination series by Amy McKinley. This is my first novel by this author.
Nadia helps Cade escape from his car when he is driven off the road. After she slips away and Cade still wants to find her years later.
When they meet again years later, they are drawn to each other.
But Nadia has a secret that could tear their relationship apart.
Even though I haven’t read other books by this author, which build up to this book, I really enjoyed it. It was such an amazing read and I am glad I gave it a chance.
Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes is the ninth book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance series. It can be read as a standalone. The prologue sets up the story, so make sure you don’t skip it.
This story is full of drama, action, intrigue, and all the feels. The author does a wonderful job of creating characters with depth and interesting personalities. And, you can tell that a lot of heart has gone into writing this adventure.
Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes is definitely a book you won’t want to put down once you get started! The slow-build romance is definitely worth your time.
TWO HEARTS UNLIKELY HEROES (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 8) by Tamara Ferguson
5 Stars
I’m seriously about out of words to use to review this author and this series. I love Crystal Rock, Wisc. and I want to live there!! It helps that Wisconsin is home to me and I want to move back there so badly, so reading all of these books is completely comforting to me. Even when they are filled with suspense and danger and edge of your seat kind of words, reading another is like coming home.
This can absolutely be read as a standalone, but there is so much that comes before and the return of so many characters scattered throughout makes it so worth reading the whole series, actually a couple different series that revolves around this town and these amazing people.
This one is full of danger and I love how there was no insta love between Ben and Samantha, with everything going on their growing connection felt even more real.
I love this series, and the writing style and imagination of this author is unmatched for these types of stories.
I highly enjoyed this novel I just couldn’t put it down. I love how it was a sweet romance but with a little drama, music and so much more. I mean I’m a sucker for a romance story but with the music too well I’m in love! I was highly addicted to this storyline and I couldn’t pull my eyes away it is a story I could read again and reccomend to others.

Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 9) by Tamara Ferguson is another amazing story in the Wounded Warrior Romance series and her characters are written to be loved. I always find myself getting lost in the heroes and heroines and each leaves a lasting impression and steal your heart. If it is a story that Tamara has written I know I am always in safe hands and will absolutely love the story because she is a great storyteller.
Samantha has served her country and is now coming to terms and peace with the injury she endured to the point she is ready for more but what she didn’t know was that a certain Captain Ben Nash would be part of that more.
Ben is undercover and waiting for the full details to come to light but in the process, he finds the one person he has been looking for and will stop at nothing to her protector.
As always, I look forward to what Tamara gives us next.
Moonlight Mirage: A Cook Island Romance a five-star dream of a read. I was so excited to see this author had a new series as I had been a huge fan of the Grey Ghost series, and I loved this one. It has the same fast pace, a story that doesn’t let up until the absolute last page, the characters that will keep you on your toes and will make you fall so deep in love with them. Nadia is such a complex character, she has secrets and knows will ruin her happiness, but sometimes you need to risk it. Cade he just made me smile with his fearlessness and determination. Do not miss this story, even if you haven’t read anything by this author again give it a go as you will love it.
Moonlit Mirage: A Cook Islands Romance is part of the Moonlit Destination Series by Amy McKinley. Amy McKinley out did herself once again. This is a short story that has romance and suspense around every turn of the page. This story is about Cade and Nadia. Their story is complicated by their past. Will Nadia overcome her past and not let it destroy her future? Will Cade be able to be Nadia? You will have to read this story to find out what happens.
5 Star TWO HEARTS UNLIKELY HEROES (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 8) by Tamara Ferguson
Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes is the ninth book in the Wounded Warrior Romance Series although it can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading this series in order you won’t be disappointed I know I haven’t been. This Author is one of my favorite go to authors her style of writing grabs ahold of you from the beginning and doesn’t let up till the end.Her characters are very well developed and easily relatable. This is Ben and Samantha’s story ,these two meet in Iraq by chance but there’s a weird connection between them . A few years later down the road they run into each other again but she’s avoiding him .He doesn’t know why. She just can’t seem to get past the feeling that there’s more than meets the eye to Ben. What will happen when the truth comes out? Can they have their HEA? Find out what happens next in this must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.
I’m convinced that Ferguson never can outdo herself and yet somehow she always does. This latest installment was one I knew I would love and boy was I ever right. These books give me all the feels – from romance to military pride to intrigue and suspense… there is just simply something here that will resonate with most. Samantha was an amazing heroine that stuck with me. Just adored it.
Moonlit Mirage was a short quick read. I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into reading this. This book was a rockin rollercoaster of events. I thought the book was well written. Very well written actually. Sometimes I feel an author tries to hard to fit so much into such a short book but this was not the story here. This book had so much suspense and I just kept scrolling to see what was going to happen next. I really enjoyed reading about Nadia and Cade. This book was a great read!
Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes by Tamara Ferguson is the ninth book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior series. This book can be read as a stand-alone although the whole series is worth your time. As with the other books in this series this one was well written with lasting, interesting characters. You know instantly that Sam and Ben are going to be characters that you get behind. Their connection is instant and it is palpable. This author is one of those that you always know you will get a good book! It doesn’t matter which one of hers I pick up I always enjoy them all, and this one is no exception.
I absolutely adore this series! Book 9 and I am still loving it every time the author brings out a new one! I love her writing, it captures my attention from the beginning – the stories are full of action, romance and always wonderful characters that I always fall in love with straight away! Two Hearts Unlikely was no exception! I was hooked from beginning to end. Sam and Ben’s story was a wonderful read – from the moment they met I knew there would be something special between them. Their initial meeting was full of action and I was left wondering how this story was going to play out! I loved watching the characters navigate the world of terrorists and the danger that surrounded them. The authors writing is in depth and detailed and I always feel like I am right there in the story at times. – This is one of the reasons why I never hesitate in picking up a book by her! I am already looking forward to her next release!
As a fan of Amy McKinley’s ‘Gray Ghost’ series I was looking forward to this first book in her new ‘Moonlit Destination’ series and this novel definitely did not disappoint. A fairly short book at only 80 pages it is packed full of action and has a great storyline. Nadia Bennett has Cade Malone under surveillance when she acts against her orders and rescues him when he has a car accident. They both share a once in a lifetime connection but although the chemistry between the two is instant and reciprocated due to the reasons why Nadia was there at the time, saving him will have to do and she has to walk away. However Cade never forgets the ‘underwater angel’ who saved him all those years ago and so when a chance encounter under the moonlight brings the couple together again he is determined not to let her get away this time. Nadia also recognises their chemistry and can not walk away again and so risks everything to be with him, unfortunately a dark secret from her past could destroy their relationship. This novel had me gripped from page one and I could not put it down, full of adventure, excitement, suspense, past secrets and romance it is a fast paced read, all with the breathtaking Cook Islands as it’s backdrop. The author takes you on an emotional rollercoaster but thankfully it does have a happy ever after ending. For readers of the ‘Gray Ghost’ novels there is a crossover between the books however you do not need to have read them to enjoy this book. I look forward to reading further books in this series by Amy McKinley.

Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes is the ninth book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Series by Tamara Ferguson. I don’t know how Ms. Ferguson manages to do it- but each new release seems to sightly eclipse the one before. You’d think that nine books in, the series may be starting to lose momentum, or start to ‘wind down’ – but not this series, it just seems to get better and better. Ms. Ferguson weaves a wonderful romance around a gripping suspense- bringing two of my favourite elements together in one unputdownable package. This is a superb romantic suspense- with a wounded warrior/military theme, second chances, drama, mystery, emotion, intrigue, action, and more. Samantha Caldwell and Benjamin Nash’s first encounter is in war torn Iraq when Samantha’s team is attacked by terrorists. She is wounded in the ensuing fight and left bleeding on the side of the road where Benjamin finds her. As rescue arrives, Benjamin is also shot and wounded. But this is not the end of their story- as fate brings them together again 2 years later at the Wounded Warrior training facility in Crystal Rock, Wisconsin. Soon romance is in the air, but also find themselves in a new battle of survival- as Samantha is once more targeted by terrorists. What happens makes for an exciting read. This is a fast paced, quick, and easy read. It can be read as a standalone, but as the series revolves around Crystal Rock and the close-knit community there- I really recommend the rest of the books in the series too. Reading them will help build a much bigger picture, where you will discover interconnected storylines, character connections and gain a much better appreciation for these books/series! I really can’t wait to see what Ms. Ferguson does next!
Moonlit Mirage: A Cook Islands Romance (Moonlit Destination Series) Starting off by saving the life of a man named Cade after his car is run of a bridge, Nadia’s life changed, it was no accident she happened to be in the right place at the right time. Five years later. Nadia and Cade cross paths again, only this time she doesn’t disappear into the night. Although a short read it’s packed with suspense, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story and am glad I have found a fab new author to follow. Great read five stars.
