Brandon and Callie’s story was fantastic. They have had a secret “love crush” one each other since they were young. To get a chance again now that they are adults is a dream come true, the only problem is Phillipe. The antagonist is quite the piece of work. I loved Brandon from Echoing Hearts. It’s great to see him find love. Callie is working through her issues to see where she is, to gain that independence. Will their relationship work? I enjoyed watching Callie grow with strength, confidence and stand up to Phillipe. The women in this series are strong and independent which I love. The plot twist was a surprise. I loved this book also.

Alam – Review by Shelly Kittell
A childhood friends to lovers romantic suspense novel.
What if you’ve known the love of your life since he was six years old and happens to be your little brother’s best friend? But the man whom Callie runs into in the middle of the desert in Morocco isn’t the little Brandon Rossi she once knew. He is a work of art.
Brandon Rossi is the boy-next-door in a rock star package. As the front man of the rock band Canis Major, a visual artist, and an avid stargazer, he expresses his thoughts and feelings through his music, arts, and tattoos. When he hits an invisible wall that hinders his ability to create, he starts on a quest to find inspiration. Who knew Brandon’s ultimate inspiration comes in the form of an unconventional beauty with golden eyes? He did. He always knew because she was the one who got away.
Calliope Chen-Bisset is a hard-working Parisian art gallerist who has gone through many hurdles in life. She was once broken, but she has tried her best to put herself back together—piece by piece. She doesn’t think she’ll be whole again until a blast from the past reminds her of who she is. The years haven’t dulled their connection. They’ve intensified it.
Brandon is willing to lay down everything for her, but will Calliope open up to him like she once did? Will she let a little fact that he is her little brother’s best friend stop her? Or will it be her past that cast a shadow on their future?
This book has mature situations and some domestic violence themes, though without graphic depiction, which may be considered triggers for some. However, it is also a story of rising from the ashes stronger. Reader discretion is advised.
C. R. Alam loves to write heartfelt and steamy love stories with strong yet vulnerable characters readers would root for. There hasn’t been a main character she’s written about whom she didn’t fall in love with despite their shortcomings. She’ll laugh with her characters, cry along with them, then laugh again in the end. When she’s not reading or writing, you’ll most likely find her in the kitchen, cooking, baking, or eating while wearing her trusted Birks, sweatpants, and “I’m emotionally attached to fictional characters” T-shirt. After a whirlwind decade of living abroad, C. R. now lives in Durham, NC, with her husband, daughter, and cat.

This was a great 5 star read. The beginning oh my, it starts with some heart wrenching moments. The characters were great, they were both strong and great for each other. Even though they fought the attraction they did finally give in. Ginger is hired to protect Jack after his heartbreaking loss. Now that he is president his safety is her number one priority. As they spend time together feelings start to develop. Will these two give in to their attraction? Can Ginger protect Jack? Overall I really enjoyed this book. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing and I look forward to reading more from her. 1-click and get started today.

What an introduction to this new author! His Protector was a wonderful read and in all honestly such a refreshing read. I loved the storyline for this book and it really was so well written. The relationship between the two main characters was so genuine and believable. I think given the plot a slow burn worked perfectly, I think anything else wouldn’t have felt right and I’m so glad the author chose to write their relationship that way, The suspense that ran through the story was great and my attention was definitely kept the whole way through. This really was a great read and I am definitely looking forward to reading more from this author again in the future!

You should celebrate women’s history month by reading a book with a strong female lead character. This is the book for you, me, and women everywhere. Our heroine has a secret, unrequited love with a married man. Spoiler alert: he has a Very Important Job. When he becomes a widower, she is assigned to protect him. In close proximity, sparks begin to fly.

This was a really gripping read. The author is new to me but I will definately be keeping my eyes open for more books. I loved the story and the role reversal. It was nice to read a romance Suspense with the female character being the protector instead of the male. The romance and chemistry is a slow burn as both Ginger and Jack have issues to deal with but there is no denying that it is there.
Jack is running to become president when he and his friends and family are attacked. In that one moment he lost his friends and his pregnant wife and he feels like his life is over. Why would someone do this to him? When he has time to recover he decides to keep on with his race to become president but the danger hasn’t passed and he relys on his security team to keep him safe. One person in that team though catches his eye in a way not entirely professional.
Agent Ginger Carver has been assigned to cover Jack’s protection detail. She has seen his darkest moments of losing everyone he cared for and his slow rise to pick himself up. She realises that her feelings are growing in ways that aren’t professional but with the increased risk Jack if he makes president and the unknown person(s) trying to take his life Ginger knows she can’t allow herself to be distracted from the main goal. Protecting Jack at all costs. Will they give into the chemistry between them? Will it mean Ginger takes her eye off the ball? Can she protect him while allowing her emotions take over?

Ayyyy caramba – spicy spicyyyy! From beginning to end. Jack and Hawke unknowingly both have the same intention on a night out before big days / life sets in. The sparks and chemistry starts to soar and they have a wild wilddd night. Of course who wouldn’t want more?? I need and want more of this story! It was a short, sweet, spicy hell of novel. Trust that you won’t regret it. Hoping to read more from Themis author in the future! 🔥 🌶️

His Protector by Sara Vinduska. I love, love, loved this book! It is full of murder, mystery, suspense and romance. Its the story of Jack who is running for President and during the campaign he has just suffered the worst loss ever. Someone has murdered his wife and unborn child. He is destroyed and doesn’t know how to go on until there is a second attempt on his life and then he’s ready to fight. He is assigned Agent Ginger Carver of the Secret Service as his personal guard. She is determined to find out who is out to get Jack and why. When he is finally elected and the more time she spends with Jack the more her feelings get involved. Ginger is very determined to find who is out to get Jack and will protect him with everything she has. Jack is still very much in the depths of his grief but he can’t deny he has a connection to Ginger. He needs to concentrate on his Presidency and more importantly the threats to his life. Will Ginger break down his walls or will she always be just the “protector”? Read this fast paced thriller to find out!

This book was twisted and a definite thriller. There was so many unexpected turns. As story builds over the time with a variety of suspenseful twists, we see Sam go through so much as she tries to make her was as an actress. It was definitely an emotionally intense read. This was my first time ever hearing of or reading anything by this author and I was blown away. Definitely worth the read if you love psychological thrillers.

His protector is the first book that I have read by this author, and it will not be the last book. His Protector is a wonderfully written Romantic Suspense read. I enjoyed the story line and the characters of the book. What happens when an agent falls for the person she is protecting?? I loved the building of the Chemistry between Agent Ginger Craver and Jack. I liked the realness of this story not far off things you can’t relate to, this story is believable and enjoyable. I look forward to reading more books by this author, If Romantic Suspense books are your cup of tea i highly recommend this read. Thank you to this Author for writing this great read. @stephaniedulac25

His Protector was different. Not a bad different though, I enjoyed it. It has suspense, thrills, mystery, heartache, and romance. In saying that I can easily say, the author keeps you hooked once you’re on the line. It’s a story written that I could see being a movie. It gives you that kind of feel. Jack has just lost everything he holds dear, while in the final months of his presidential campaign. How can he move forward, he knows he’s the best guy for the job but tragedy is holding him back. That is till a second attempt is made on his life. In tragedy comes perseverance and that’s exactly what he’s going to prove. Agent Ginger Craver has been assigned to lead the detail to protect Jack Amborn and she believes these attempts on his life are connected but how can she prove it, when everyone else feels they are random. Once he’s elected President Amborn is now her number one priority. But what happens when the man she took an oath to protect, becomes the man that takes hold of her heart. It’s a weakness that she can’t let go. So she stays by his side despite how she feels. This book is written across a 5 year or so period showing the reader the ups and downs of life. On top of that of being president and having to deal with that enormous responsibility as well. It’s a wonderfully written story that will have you rooting for Agent Craver. I know I was! Can she separate job and feelings? What if Jack feels the same way? Jump into this with an open mind and you may very well see the movie play out in your mind like I did.

I truly loved this book! This features two strong characters who acted with integrity. It features the president of the United States who has just been widowed and in losing his wife he also lost his unborn child. He has a secret service agent who is assigned to protect him. She is developing feelings for him. However, she doesn’t know if the President feels the same way. There are still very valid threats against the president’s life and the more time they spend together the more neither of them cannot deny their feelings. This book combines romance with suspense. I love how well it is written and how developed the characters are. I definitely recommend this book and I love that it combines genres!

His Protector by Sara Vinduska is an enticing romantic suspense that had all the ingredients to keep me engrossed in the story the whole way through. It is the first book that I have read by this author, but after enjoying being between these covers, it certainly won’t be the last. It is an action-packed romantic suspense with plenty of danger, chemistry, emotion, steam, and more. The characters are well-developed and interesting individuals with their own personalities quirks and flaws. It was easy to connect with them and I found myself fully invested in them and the outcome of their story. We have the widowed president of the United States, and a sexy Secret Service agent who will do everything to protect him in the line of duty. With an Assassination plot that places him in extreme danger she will need to fight her growing feelings if she is going to keep him alive. Things are about to get tense… Looking forward to exploring more of Ms. Vinduska’s work. Happy Reading…

Sara Vinduska is a new author to me and I was excited to see what she brings to the table. I must say I was pleasantly surprised and really liked this story. His Protector is a romantic suspense tale. The story is unique and original which is refreshing. I love that there is a swap in the protector roles. The book is well-written and has characters that are well developed, with strengths and weaknesses that are believable. Her job is to protect the number one man. But can she do her job and find the enemy before he takes him out. He is still grieving but he can’t deny his attraction. Just because she is my protector doesn’t mean he won’t protect her. There is a real slow burn that you just want them to give in and get to it. Ahhhh! It is a good story that is suspenseful, has some humour, is action packed and interesting. If you are a fan of romantic suspense, you will enjoy this book. I look forward to reading more of Sara’s work.

She’s falling in love with the man she swore to protect…
When a botched assassination attempt leaves President Jack Amborn grieving the death of his wife and unborn child, he finds solace in devoting himself to his Presidential duties. Despite the looming threat to his life and the assassin who’s still at large, he’s confident that his expert security detail will keep him from harm.
Secret Service agent Ginger Carver spent her life preparing for this job. Endless hours, meticulous planning, and constant vigilance are second nature to her. There’s only one thing she never could have bargained for – falling in love with the man she’s duty-bound to protect.
But now the widowed President is in more danger than ever… and the harder she works to protect him, the deeper her feelings for him become. The assassin is still lurking in the shadows, waiting for another chance to strike. Ginger is willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for Jack – but what if he wants her heart, too?
As an explosive and action-packed romantic suspense novel that will sweep you off your feet, His Protector is a tantalizing read that will keep you guessing until the very end

Night Hawke: (A Second Generation Hawke Family Prequel)
by Geyn McNamee
4 out of 5 Stars
Extremely short but existing book. I wish it was a little longer and that’s why it gets 4 stars. As always this member of the Hawke Family will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions. I couldn’t get enough of the main characters. Definitely a good read if you are taking a short flight or if you are looking for a quick one day/or less read. Highly recommend.
First of all, let me say that I absolutely loved Night Hawke, which was the prequel to Ruthless Hawke. It definitely starts the series off on the right (steamy) page, so if you haven’t read that one yet, pick it up! I love the entire Hawke family and this one is no different. Gwyn McNamee has such an extraordinary way of grabbing your attention, making you speed through the book without realizing it. The amount of natural chemistry pulls you in and feels more like being a part of the story instead of just looking from the outside in. I HIGHLY recommend this book as well as anything else Gwyn writes because her talent is just incredibly powerful. They have never disappointed me yet!

I absolutely loved reading Tripp and Soleils story. Them both being attracted to each other without knowing that the other is, and the lengths he goes to to help her were amazing.
Tripp and Soleil have to overcome a few things in order to figure themselves out, and work towards each other, but once they do it’s like an explosion of amazingness.
I loved this story throughout the entire thing. Couldn’t put it down!!

Savage Collision: This is the first book of the series and when she gives that warning on her page she means it. This book really had me readling non stop. Danika is a super fierce, strong, smart lead female, and man was there some real passion between her and Savage. Also Abello is a psychopath smh. And omg the epilogue was sooo cute i loved it lol. I think they might be my favorite couple so far. Tortured Skye is the next book in the series by the great author Gwyn McNamee.i was excited to read about Gabe’s story. I loved him in the first book. The way he had savages back when going up against the bad guy, a plus. Even through the ups and downs he and Skye had some real heat passing between them. I’m looking forward to seeing more of them. Again a one sit read.
Stone Sober & Building Storm are the third and fourth book of the The Hawke Family series by the really talented Gwyn McNamee. She has such a way with word that your just propelled into the world that she creates. She really knows how to write passion and leave you breathless. And oh man the suspense with the twist and turn. I also love seeing the past characters return to the new stories, it really ties everything together. Like omg the surprise at the end of Stoned Sober with Nora and Stone OMG lol.
Tainted Saint & Steele Resolve are the fifth and sixth book of the series and although they were a little bit shorter than the other, but man they did not disappoint. I truly am now a huge fan of Gwyn McNamee. I am a long time reader now. I was so excited to finish these books, but I was also super sad because I didn’t want them to end. I then saw that there is a new one coming out soon, the second generation . Sign me up!. They were both also still super hottt.

Night Hawke is available now in Paperback and eBook ⭐️⭐️⭐⭐ Book Review
“I love to play games, especially with an opponent like Jack and when I know what I’ll win in the end.”
Both “Jack” and “Nolan” find themselves running from reality for two completely different reasons. “Nolan” has just finished law school and is about to enter the billion dollar family business. “Jack” has her own share of family problems. The two meet in a bar and agree to a one night stand that turns into an entire weekend together…in bed. When “Nolan” decides two nights together isn’t enough he speaks up. When he wakes up and notices “Jack” has left he does everything in his power to catch her. Two nights with only two rules lead to a lifetime of consequences. Will “Nolan” ever find his mystery woman?
Night Hawke written by Gwyn McNamee is a second generation Hawke family prequel. McNamee writes stories with a bit of suspense and action mingled with romance and heat. Night Hawke will not let you down in any of these categories. This novel is steamy and full of spicy scenes. The novel jumps right in from the very beginning with a steamy introduction. This prequel really sets the stage for the next series, ending with a cliffhanger that leaves you begging for more. It is not necessary to read the first generation to follow along in the second series, but I promise you wont regret getting your hands on those as well!
“This woman is trouble. No doubt about it. But it’s exactly the kind of trouble I need tonight.”

This Is a short read approximately 2 hours probably quicker for the fast readers. Even though I haven’t read any of the other ones in the series, it’s a fast read. I found I really enjoyed this. I loved reading from the different POVs. And boy oh boy it has some steamy bits between Nolan aka Isaac and Jack🫣😂❤️ no complaints from me 😉I loved it. I look forward to reading the rest of the series from this author, literally running to get the other ones. As a first time reader I gotta say Gywn McNamee you got a lifetime reader here.🥰

This was a quick sexy read. Isaac wants to end his time in Chicago with a beautiful woman, but not any beautiful woman; he wants the sexy red head. Jack just wants a carefree night away from her family. Their time together is fiery and hot. However, Jack is full of mystery and wants only anonymity. This book leaves off on a cliffhanger that only leads to more questions.

Isaac and Jack are hot and wild!!! This story leaves you wondering what her backstory is and what she’s hiding… But it’s hard not to let this story carry you away. It’s steamy and intense with nothing but pure passion. I’m definitely gonna have to read the next book!

This book starts off hot and sexy and continues all the way through. It does not disappoint. Hawke decides to have one last fling before he enters the corporate world. He sees a woman at the bar who keeps looking at him. He’s ready for a one-night stand but realizes afterwards that he wants more with her. Now he has to try to figure out who she is and how to get in contact with her. Will he be able to find her in time?

If you were looking for a quick all-night sex extravaganza, then Night Hawke is your book. Issac Hawke is a newly graduated lawyer who is leaving Chicago to move back to New Orleans to be a part of the family business. He thought having one more amazing celebration with a gorgeous redhead would do the trick. The two spark up a conversation both wanting the same thing – a really good one-night stand. The catch is that they want to end it with no strings, which means no real names; Isaac goes by Nolan and the redhead goes by Jack. Well, this one-night stand becomes the best thing either one of them has ever experienced. The whole story is a prequel that starts their relationship, but the only thing that really occurred was a lot of untruths (to safeguard each other’s feelings, but also their lives) and sex, lots and lots of sex. “Jack” you don’t really learn much about her except that her family is highly controlling and she isn’t supposed to be out. She makes little hints but there is no description of why she is kept “captive” by her family – my guess will be maybe mafia related. Either way, the two feel more then they expect when one night turns into two. However, while Nolan wants more, he is left wanting when she up and leaves in the morning. He has no information on how to find her except that she lives and is from Chicago – he doesn’t even know her real name. As characters, I find both of them charming, and mysterious, but want more for their lives. That is the only info you get so the prequel sets you up for future stories, but you have no idea what that will be. It worked because I am interested to find out what happens.

This is a well written story with many twists and turns. It makes you want to keep reading the next chapter that you are at the end of the book before you know it. If you like medical outbreak stories added with a touch of romance, this is the book for you.
Hunter and Selma have known each other for years and have been in different relationships until 20 years later when they can finally be with each other. However, they take their careers first.
Selma has volunteered to go overseas to help Doctors without Borders when after she arrives, an outbreak happens. Hunters and a team of doctors end up going over to Africa after her to try to help with the sick and to get their friends out of the country and safe back home. Everyone debates whether or not the outbreak was an intentional threat or not.
The author does a great job in displaying knowledge and understanding of the events in the story.

Quick read Kind of short and not real in depth as far as getting to know the characters but enough to not feel lost. I really enjoyed this book though. I look forward to more from Debra ☺️
