I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! I don’t believe I’ve read this author before, but I will be checking out everything written now! This was a quick fast-paced read that I couldn’t put down. The author did a great job of pulling me in and keeping me hooked the whole time. I can’t wait to see what happens next! I would definitely recommend you pick this up today!

An engaging, fast-paced read. I really enjoyed this story and the writers style is engaging and draws the reader in. The story felt realistic and it was made up of everything a good suspenseful romance needs.
Aimee is a strong leading female who is unexpectedly, but quickly, well-matched with Qadir, who proves himself a great leading man! Through from different worlds, their chemistry is palpable!
I really enjoyed this one by an author I’ve never read before! I look forward to additional books from her.

I love finding new to me authors and learning about their style to see if they are a one and done or if I will be reading more by them. This author is one I will be one I will be looking forward to reading again.
There was something quite endearing about Aimee and Qadir from the beginning and it only increased the further I got into the book.
Aimee is not your average girl in any shape, form or fashion and that was the beginning of her charm. Not having an easy life would have a lot of people mad at the world and bitter towards everyone and everything, not Aimee. She protects those she cares about with everything she has, but she manages take the wrong person mad.
Qadir is not the normal Sheikh. It’s obvious he has money but he doesn’t act like others I have read or the stereotypes and I liked that a lot.
I have been traveling for the last couple of days and this was able to get lost in the book instead of worrying about my husband’s driving. I’m so looking forward to the next book in the series.

This book was gripping! Something About Aimee (Girls from the Street Book 1) by S.E. Smith is my first read from this author, but I guarantee it won’t be my last.
I loved Aimees’ street wise, spunky, and strong willed free spirited attitude. Aimee is proud of her lifestyle and all the different skills she’s learned living on the streets. She is a perfect match for the Sheikh Qadir Saif-Ad-Din despite them being from two completely different worlds. Their love story was one of passion and adventure. I love the fact that Qadir is protective over Aimee, without trying to change her or hold her back. This book is a roller-coaster ride of ups and downs that packed so many emotions. I loved these characters and this book, I can’t wait til Book 2 is out. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone who wants a great read.

Amy McKinley hit it out of the park yet again with book #7 of the Mafia Elite series! I LOVE this entire series—absolutely PHENOMENAL….the books get better each time—if that is even possible. Something About Aimee is an action-packed romantic suspense tale and a long way from the sci fi stories I have read by this author. Your emotions will be all over the place with the many twists and turns. SE has a wonderful way with words, the descriptive nature brings the reader in and doesn’t let them go They say opposites attract, right? The story is a slow burn romance but I would have liked to see a bit more heat/sizzle/passion/sparks for this couple.
Strong, independent, witty and street savvy Aimee saves Sheikh Qadir from danger, only she doesn’t know who he is. Doing so she has inadvertently put herself in danger but this girl from the street knows a thing or two.

Book 7 is just as amazing and page turning as the six books that came before it. With every story, including this one, the author manages to captive you with a different scenario of the same mafia world. This is another amazing mafia romance and sports the enemies-to-over trope with the tale of Nico and Mia.
Mia, mafia princess from New York, is in trouble and the person she has chosen for help? Nico la Rosa an underboss of a Chicago mafia family, aka the enemy. Will Nico be able to look past the title of enemy to protect Mia and help her take down her own family?
I don’t know what you are waiting for if you haven’t started this series. I would highly suggest it. You will be enjoying every moment from page one of book one. I cannot recommend this author or her books more.
Aimee and Qadir are from entirely different worlds but when their paths cross do the sparks ever fly! Aimee was a wonderfully strong female lead who will do anything including sacrificing her own happiness for the man she loves. Can they find their way back to one another? This was my first book by this author, but I know it will not be my last. I am always down for a suspense romance book and this one did not disappoint in the least! This is definitely an opposites attract sort of book but from the perspective of the main characters live two very different lives and immediately develop this connection that cannot go unnoticed by the reader. I really liked the character development and the twists and turns and drama this book had!
Overall I really enjoyed this book. I was hooked from the beginning and found it difficult to put down (when of course I needed to because well.. life!) I am looking forward to reading more in the future by this author!

Something about Aimee was a great read that took me away. I felt as if I traveled to New York and even to Jawahir. The book had lots of twists and turns and kept me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed learning more about Aimee and Qadir, while reading this adventure romance. I didn’t realize that this book is a part of a series when I started reading it but I was thrilled to realize that the story doesn’t end here and I can continue reading the series to see how things develop. If you are looking for a book that will take you places and shows the beauty of the world in both big and small things then this is just the book for you. Thank you S. E. A page turning romantic suspense, which had me gripped throughout. The main characters really are complete opposites, Aimee Wheels who was born on the streets and loves her free-living lifestyle, and ultra rich, Sheikh Qadir Saif-Ad-Din, who was born into royalty and power. Aimee is happy with her courier job in New York City, and although she hasn’t got a lot, she’s contented as long as she has her crazy friends and her skateboard. Qadir is used to having money and every that goes with it, and is used to wielding his power. However, his life changes when he is both saved by and then dismissed by a woman carrying a skateboard, and wearing tattered jeans. He instantly knows that he wants her. Aimee’s life also changes dramatically having saved Qadir from an assassination attempt, and then becomes part of his world when she become a target herself. As well as the fact they have both led very different lives, the couple also have to deal with a rival billionaire trying to kill them. Can their budding relationship survive their distrust and differences, and lead to love. This was a fast paced, entertaining read with an exciting storyline and great main characters, which had me hooked from start to finish. The plot twists kept me guessing and the action, suspense and romance kept me happily turning the pages.

This book is the seventh in a series and can easily be read as a stand alone book. Each book follows a member of the 5 Italian American mafia families from Chicago. This book is about Mia Tucci from the New York mafia and Nico la Rosa. First of all, if you haven’t read this series, run, don’t walk and get it! I love it when a new story comes out. It feels like when a season of your favorite show starts and you get to hang out with all the characters – just comfortable and happy! This book started with a bang and caught my attention with Mia getting kidnapped. I was immediately drawn into her story and could hardly put the book down. There was a twist at the end that I loved, some of which I saw coming. I felt like this book wasn’t quite as explicit as some of the others, but I liked that. Well worth your time!

Aimee Wheels is a free spirit trying to make her way in the world. Sheik Qadir Saif-Ad-Din is a powerful royal. These two couldn’t be more different but when she saves his life he can’t get her out of his head. These two had really good chemistry. I really enjoyed the story and their interactions. I would have liked a bit more relationship development before they fall in love. This story is nice and adventurous and Qadir and Aimee are really good people. An enjoyable story.

What a Story!! I love reading this series! I can’t get enough! The storyline is fast paced and the characters are smart, sexy and have wonderful chemistry. I enjoyed meeting Mia. She really has that spunk and stamina that surprised me a time or two. The male MC we have jot seen a lot of and I actually grew to like him. He has no plans for love or marriage. I loved watching his turn around as he discovers all consuming love.
I loved getting to see ALL the previous characters. The women and their first meeting with Mia AkA the enemy is a memorable one. I do agree with Mia thoughts on the Five Families and how they protect and love fiercely. I enjoy watching/reading their banter and snuggles. Stephen is still one scary guy!
Overall I am saddened that this is the last in this amazing series! But we do have an opening for a spin-off. I have had many emotions while reading this book. I have ranged from love, humor and dislike with a few Wha?? Thrown in. I recommend reading the others in the series first! Trust me!

Let me just say this book is so freaking good. I absolutely loved it. It does have some spice in it, so if that’s not your thing, here’s your warning. But the romance is amazing. The author does such a great job. I just wish it was longer, I need more of this story!! A very quick read, it’ll suck you in and pull you under, and you’ll be done before you know it!

Emiliana went through an extremely traumatic experience and this time we find out what happened to her and instead of fading she rises from it and she’s darker , braver and alert and will orotect those she loves with everything within her ❣️she’s always loved Stefano and it’s as if they were made for each other and yet they have to survive on stolen kisses …..
Stefano is my favourite 😍 there’s just something about him … he knows his Achilles is Emi and his father will easily use her as a weapon against him , he doesn’t want to hand over the throne to his son but he pays the ultimate price and he’s so evil I don’t think there’s a place in hell for him 😱
We finally get to find out who the deceiving so and so is and man let me tell you I also felt like breaking a few bones !

Where do I even begin? This author has amazing talent! She gets you hooked from the very first book in the Mafia Elite series and keeps you wanting more!! As each book has come out in this series each storyline gets better and better. I can’t wait to read what is next to come! In this book, we dive into Nico’s story. He is quiet, calculated, and never thought he could settle down like the rest of his Mafia family. When Mia Tucci tracks him down on an island only his family knows he’s at and holds a gun to his chest, it makes him very intrigued as to what she wants. She was the enemy but as they say, keep your friends close and your enemies even closer. Mia is in trouble with her evil father and stepbrother. Will Nico, the Five Families, and the Chicago Mafia help Mia end the rein of her sadistic, pour evil family all while putting a stop to the sex trafficking business that harmed one of the Chicago Mafia members? This book is amazing and I loved how action-packed the storyline was. It also made me sad because it was the closing book to the Mafia Elite series. BUT now we still get to learn about the NY division of the Mafia!! I can’t wait to see what happens next!!

Wow wow wow!!! Yet again this amazing author brought us a totally captivating story that had me on the edge of my seat from the first word to the very last!!! I read this so fast simply because I had to know what was going to happen next. Nico and Mia come together as a way to not only protect Mia but to also bring down her father and step brother. What starts out as an agreement and blood oath between the two soon develops into so much more. With constant danger seeming to come at them at every turn can they survive it all to find true happiness? This is book 7 in this amazing series and you can read it and enjoy it without having read the previous books BUT I highly recommend reading the whole series from the start not only because they are so worth it but also because it will give you valuable knowledge of all the characters and the series of events that lead to this point.

This book had incredible characters, a great story line and all the chemistry! The push and pull was to die for and all the twists and turns captured me and held me hostage! I did not read others in the series but definitely will be back tracking. This is a great series!!!

This is the first book I have read by this author and I have to say that I will happily read more! The main characters had an instant attraction for each other ,which quickly became so much more. They lived vastly different lives but the author cleverly showed us that they had common ground in their inner strengths and the way they fought for each other and those around them that they loved. With an interesting and constantly moving storyline this book is one you will enjoy and should definitely get reading today!!

I couldn’t wait for this book as I just loved the others in the series. It seriously did not let me down and was just as good! Mia and Nico are amazing and I just couldn’t get enough of them. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat wanting more and more. I very highly recommend this whole series if mafia romance is your thing!
The story tested the true bounds of love and the meaning that opposite the track. I enjoyed their story very much, and i appreciated the differences that they had, but the way they were able to embrace each other. Aimee was such a free spirit and Independent woman. She may not have had much but her life was simple and she enjoyed it. Qadir was much more complex, and quite the alpha male. Watching their love story play out danced upon a variety of emotions. The way he watched over her and protected her displayed his devotion. I enjoyed the story very much and I’m happy that I discovered this hidden gem.
