Lucifer’s Emblem: A Paranormal Academy Novel (Celestial Academy Book 1) by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk was a fun read. I really liked the plot and all of the twists. Zuri and Miry were polar opposite characters. I loved Zuri’s spunk and ability to call things out as she saw them. Miry was everything Zuri accused her of being. There were so many questions I still have and really hope to get more answers in the next book.

Lucifer’s Emblem: A Paranormal Academy Romance (Celestial Academy Book 1)
by Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk

This book drew me in from the beginning and I had a hard time putting it down. Zuri, daughter of Lucifer, has a very strong personality and she’s a little rough around the edges. She is determined to find the stolen relic no matter what, especially since she knows it will be her responsibility one day. Myriam, who is archangel Michael’s daughter, is a very needy girl who doesn’t get a lot of attention from her father. These two unlikely allies are trying to work together to catch the thief and retrieve the relic. There are always two sides to a story and it seems that Zuri has no problem telling the side of the story that the kids at the academy haven’t been told. This book took me on an adventure full of detail, great world building, wonderful characters, danger and more. I found this story to be original and very entertaining, I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. I highly recommend this book.

5 stars!
Lucifer’s Emblem is a fun read. I really enjoyed the storyline and how Lucifer has a daughter, Zuri. The friendship between Zuri and Damian is beautiful, he would sacrifice not only his future but himself to save her. He also has her back when it comes to lying to her father, but it is funny that he really can’t keep any secrets from the king of hell. Zuri and Miryam’s relationship is weird for me. I can understand why Miryam is so sheltered and annoying and I also understand why Zuri would be frustrated with her. It was nice that they both formed a sort of bond and friendship and by the end, Miryam was willing to sacrifice herself to save her new friend. By the end the group of friends defeated Beelzebub and saved the world from the apocalypse, but there is some tension with Miryam and her boyfriend Chris and Zuri. It seems Zuri may have developed feelings for Miryam and I am hoping in the second book we get to see their relationship grow more romantic, because I agree with what Damian says, in that they have something special.
Definitely a great read, I would recommend to paranormal lovers and romantic lovers alike, and can’t wait for the next book.

Lucifer's Emblem (Celestial Academy, #1)Lucifer’s Emblem by Sarah Biglow
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

When Lucifer’s token seal — his only protection against the fallen angels who ejected him from, is stolen, his very own daughter, Zuri locates it at the Celestial Academy. As a degenerate, she’d never been allowed to enter the school for the heirs of angels and saints. Under a false persona, it leads her straight to Miryam bat-Michael.
Daughter of fallen angel, Michael, Miryam is a far cry from the angel her dad is. Seeking approval and devotion from her father who’s barely around, she’s looking for love in all the wrong places even if that means befriending Zuri who no one else seems to favor.
A speculative bond unfolds as the two unravel the mystery of the thief’s true intentions. As doomsday is about to unfold the world, only Zuri’s blood can break the seal. Zuri’s only hope is to put all her trust in Miryam but is their bond enough to prevent the worst from ending the world as they know it?
This has most definitely been an entertaining, page-turner of a read and was unpredictable from start to finish. Action-packed and worth the read. Check out this beautiful story!

Lucifer’s Emblem: A Paranormal Academy Romance (Celestial Academy Book 1) by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk is a YA fun paranormal world story with Angels and the Devil and magic. It was easy to get lost in the magical world the authors have created. There is a lot going on where there is action and danger, and the characters are endearing as we follow along on the adventure and their banter. The daughters of good, Archangel Michael and evil, Lucifer must join forces to retrieve a magical item, Lucifer’s Emblem that has been stolen and the fun begins.

Lucifer’s Emblem is the first book in the new Celestial Academy series by Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk. This is definitely my favourite of their books, so far- and I can’t wait to get my hands on the rest of the series. It is a fantastic YA series with angels- Fallen and Archangels- as well as adventure, mystery, action, suspense, friendship, discoveries, danger, and so much more.
Zuri is the eighteen year-old daughter of Lucifer, the Ruler of Hell, and has been groomed to take over the kingdom one day. Here we discover that there is a lot more to Lucifer than we’ve been ‘told’. (Which is an intriguing take on the whole ‘Lucifer’ story). Anyway, Lucifer’s Emblem is their family heirloom and their only defence against the Archangels- so when it disappears Zuri is determined to hunt it down and return it to hell. She tracks the Emblem to the Celestial Academy, and in order to gain access there she assumes a new identity- so she can continue her search. She is accepted, and then discovers that her new roommate is none other than Archangel Michael’s daughter, Miryam. This should be interesting. As things evolve, she and Miryam begin to form a bond- but can Zuri really trust her? She soon discovers that there is a lot more to the emblem than she knew, and now there is so much more at stake- the missing emblem is just the beginning.
This is an exciting and very original story and I loved following along on the adventure! Book two can’t come soon enough!!!

Thank you, Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk!

This is not my first book by this author but it is my favorite yet. It is a paranormal romance story that I had a hard time putting down once I started it. I was pulled right into the story by the characters. I found that I could easily connect to them. They made the story feel real. The story is about an emblem that was stolen that must be found before it unleashes Armageddon. There is only one person’s blood who can stop it, Zuri’s but will she learn to trust Miryam before it is too late? I really enjoyed this story and the mystery it brought. Watching their bond grow throughout the story was great and the connections they made with each other. I highly recommend reading about these Fallen and Archangels and if they find the emblem before it is too late

I loved reading the story Lucifer’s Emblem: A Paranormal Academy Novel (Celestial Academy Book 1) by Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk. It is a book that is entertaining and hard to put down once I had started reading it. I enjoyed reading about the characters of Zuri and Miryam. Zuri is trying to recover a stolen relic. Zuri is someone who is independent and takes chances. She finds herself at the Celestial Academy and meets Miryam. Miryam is the daughter of the Archangel Michael. She is a girl who wants attention and can be needy. There is bad blood between Fallen and Archangels. Can Zuri and Miryam work together to find out the true motives of the thief and get the relic back? Read this book to find out. This is a story that has action and danger. I enjoyed reading the bantering that goes back and forth between Zuri, Miryam, and the other characters that are introduced in the book. The authors have done a wonderful job in world-building. This is a book that had me wondering what was going to happen next and how it all would end. I highly recommend reading it.

Eternity (Captivity Book 3)Eternity by Sarah Biglow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Eternity is the third and concluding instalment in the Captivity series by Molly Zenk and Sarah Biglow. It is a really well developed, imaginative, and intriguing paranormal romance/urban fantasy- with shapeshifters, action, adventure, danger, drama, some dystopian elements, choices, and more obstacles.
I really recommend reading the first two books before starting on this one, because the story continues from one book into the next- so you really need to know all the important information, character details, and storyline that’s contained in the first two instalments- in order to fully appreciated this book.
It isn’t a very long book, which makes this a very quick and easy read. But even though the books are short, there is quite a lot that happens in the small space- lots of revelations are made, with action packed adventure, and our characters go through a lot in the process.
The story picks up where book two left off. Finding Sanctuary should have been the end of their saga- but our characters soon learn that there is a new threat which places ALL shifters in danger. They are once more drawn into a life and death situation. This high stakes final show down kept me avidly reading to discover how everything plays out in the end. Their relationships, and skills, are really put to the test- with a lot riding on the outcome. Will they win out in the end? And if so, at what cost?
This was a superb ending to the series! Looking forward to seeing what these two talented authors do next!

Thank you, Ms. Zenk and Ms. Biglow!

Eternity is the final book in the Captivity Series. I highly recommend you read Captivity & Sanctuary first as it gives you a real insight into the characters and also gives you the backstory. It also helps each book flow into each without you losing your way.
Once again these two authors have created another incredible addition to this series, they have made it fast-paced, action-packed and mentally visual, it also helps you really connect to the characters and their journey. I was once again totally captivated with this read from the get-go, I had to keep turning the pages to find out what could happen next, so much so it would have me on the edge of my seat, its just such a shame that its come to an end!

I’m so glad I got to experience this read and these awesome writers. I cant wait to see what else these authors have to offer! Until then I highly recommend you check out this brilliant fantasy series!

Eternity is the final book in the Captivity written by Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk. This is a Paranormal Romance with a twist where shifters are captive in the future and what will they risk breaking free? This is a great read I loved the characters and their quirks the way they play off each other is amazing
Will one more mission to The City be the end of their freedom or will it kill them?
Aiden, Lorelei and their loved ones thought they were finally safe in Sanctuary. When they uncover a plot to put all shifters at risk, a decision must be made will they cling to their isolationist freedom or risk everything to protect their people.
Aiden is his healthiest he’s ever been and his relationship with Xander is working out great. Lorelei focus is on the baby and her relationship with Douglas. They just found out that the Booshie elite plans to poison the water supply with blood graft.
Lorelei feels as long as the deadly plot affects shifters outside of Sanctuary, she convinces herself it’s not her problem. When Douglas reminds her helping others is what the MCU stands for, will she leave their baby to join the final fight?
Can they survive the City again? Will they be-able to stop the Booshie’s plants poison the water? What will happen if they fail?
You will have to read the whole series in order to find out what happens. I highly recommend this book/series…

Eternity (Captivity Book 3)Eternity
By: Sarah Biglow
My Rating: 5 of 5 stars

Eternity: A Paranormal Romance Novella (Captivity Book 3) by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk was a fast pace ending that closed out a just as equally fast pace action packed series.

This series has been one of my fave this year, it starts out on a serious note and set the stage for the action and crazy to come. As this was a short read it was over before I knew it, and as happy as I am that this series got it’s ending, I was sad to see it go.

I do hope there is more to come from this world, as I feel like there is so much more that can be explored upon. But overall this book was just as good as the others, and held that same intensity, fast moving plot, complex layers, that has made this series not only memorable but fresh and original. Just to note this is a continuation series, so you have to read the books in order. If not you won’t get the impact, or understand the layers that make up this powerhouse read.

To end, this book gets my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval.

Happy Reading

Eternity: A Paranormal Romance Novella (Captivity Book 3) by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk is the last book in this unique paranormal romance series. Our characters have just found Sanctuary but have found there is a bigger problem building that their hosts don’t want them to know. Fighting what is right to stop humans from treating shifters as second class citizen and being held without their consent. To build a world where they can live in freedom and secure a future for their children.

Eternity is the last book in the Captivity Series by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk. Like the other two books, this book is not one to miss. Biglow and Zenk brought life to their stories. The well developed characters to a well thought out plot to keep you engaged until the end. There are some surprises and a roller coaster ride is worth the read. I would be careful because once you start you may not stop until the very end. The characters are real and they belief in the Sanctuary but will a decision they make for the good or will it be their end?

I give Eternity: A Paranormal Romance Novella (Captivity Book 3) by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk, 4 stars.
** This review may contain spoilers from previous books in the series. **

Lorelei, Aiden, and the group they now call their family are happy in Sanctuary. That is, until they learn of a potential plan that may have tragic results to all shifters. They meet some opposition from the other residents, but they know they cannot just stand by and let it happen. So they travel back into the city where they will have to face some of their worst fears and enemies. Will they be able to succeed or is it doomed to fail?

I have greatly enjoyed this series and this book just added to my pleasure. The book weaves a wonderful tale of love, hate, action, and the extremes some people will go to. It also does a wonderful job of tying all the books together, bringing back characters we have met in previous books, as well as introducing some new ones too. I was completely engrossed in this book and could not put it down until I was done.

If you are a fan of shifters, romance and action, this book is for you.

I really found myself associating with Lorelei. She has so much to lose but so much to gain and I felt as though I was going through the emotions and drama as she was. I like how she is able to grow and move on from her past and how she is able to change the world she lives in. I really found that the authors were able to bring the plot and story to a great ending. This story is even harder to put down then the previous two. I was pulled into the shifters adventure from the moment they out their mission plan into motion. After making the heartbreaking decision to leave her precious Dougie behind, Lorelei joins her friends in their most dangerous quest yet, trying to save the future of their kind.
Again, Ms. Biglow and Ms. Zenk have used description that makes the reader see the story unfold. The emotions felt by Lorelei, Aiden, Xander, and the rest of the shifters are intense and are real enough to jump off of the page. Each page brings excitement and leaves the reader waiting impatiently to see what happens next.

This was a good continuation and finale to the series. This book picks up where Sanctuary finishes. You need to read the first two before so you can fully comprehend the story. Lorelei and the gang are getting comfortable with their new life at Sanctuary when they discover a threat to all shifters. Though some want to stay safe, they decide it’s too important a threat to ignore. They set off on an adventure to try to save the world. With danger lurking around every corner, can they all survive to live another day?

Once again I enjoyed the banter between the characters. Their relationships grew and evolved with highs and lows. Love was gained and love was lost. The book was filled with action and the danger added a thrill to the story. I think this is a fitting end to the series.

The supernatural aspects of this series are fabulous. The characters are wonderful, flawed, determined, and complex. But the most important thing about this series and this book in general is that the themes and lessons can be talked about in the context of what is happening in the world right now. I know Sarah Biglow is a lawyer so I don’t think I’m over thinking this but maybe I am. I’m still going to make everyone I know read this.
