Lucifer’s Emblem: A Paranormal Academy Novel (Celestial Academy Book 1) by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk – Review by Joanne Ellis

Lucifer's Emblem (Celestial Academy, #1)Lucifer’s Emblem by Sarah Biglow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Zuri, is Lucifer’s daughter. She has tracked her father’s Emblem, which happens to be his one defence against the Archangels that banished him from Heaven, to a thief at the Celestial Academy. However, as a chid of a fallen , Zuri will never be allowed entry to the school for the descendants of angels and saints.

But she comes up with a plan…… She dons a fake identity, which will lead her right into Miryam bat-Michael’s path. Miryam is the daughter of the Archangel Michael and she is far from perfect herself. Craving the love of her farther, as he is never there, therefore she is always seeking admiration and affection wherever she can find it. She will even throw in with Zuri, and she doesn’t fit in. An alliance blooms as the girls realise Lucifers emblem can unleash Armageddon and with Zuri’s blood, it can break the seal.

The only hope of averting the apocalypse and escaping death is for Zuri to trust Miryam, but is their growing bond strong enough to overcome an eternity of bad blood between Fallen and Archangels?

This is a brilliant angels and demons book, I really enjoy paranormal books and this one did not disappoint. The story flowed brilliantly and the characters was very well written, especially the relationship between Zuri and Damian, their friendship is wonderful. It gives a different take on good verses evil. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.
Very much looking forward to the next instalment.
