Whiskey Dick by Ryan Ringbloom – Review by Jenni Bishop

Whiskey DickWhiskey Dick by Ryan Ringbloom
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Whiskey Dick by Ryan Ringbloom is every bit as fun, witty and crazy as the title. Ryan has done an excellent job on this short story and the characters and their shenanigans and banter just cracked me up. It is sweet and steamy and will have you laughing out loud each and every step of the way. If you need a little pick me up then Whiskey Dick is just what you need. I can’t wait to see what else Ryan has in store for this series.

Just Exes by Charity Ferrell – Review by Angela Hayes

Just ExesJust Exes by Charity Ferrell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

“I want to punch him in the face.
I want to apologize.
I want him to know I regret what I did and that my heart beats only for him.
But it wouldn’t change anything.
No amount of apologizing will reverse the betrayal and pain I caused.”

Just Exes is a fantastic second chance romance by Charity Ferrell. I fell in love with Ms. Ferrell’s writing when I read ‘Just One Night’ (Book #1) and ‘Just Her Body Guard’(Book #2), and have since read many of her other works too- so when I saw this book there was no question, I knew I just had to read it. I am excited to say that it was everything I had hoped for or expected from this talented author- I thought it was going to be impossible for her to get me to love any characters more than I did Stella and Hudson (Just Her Body Guard)… but Lauren and Gage have certainly succeeded. This is now my favourite book of Ms. Ferrell’s, so far.
This is a beautiful and such an emotional story- extremely well written. It had me totally engrossed right from the start. I found it a sexy, slow-burning, funny, emotive and very relatable!
The characters are all so well developed and endearing. I found it easy to connect with them and their story. I was cheering them on from the sidelines the whole way through. They had both been through so much and had carried their pain for so long, my heart ached for them! But boy, these two were entertaining with their arguing, verbal jousting, and one-upmanship- their banter was hilarious at times, which did help to balance the emotional and heartbreaking moments.
The story has a great pace and a smooth flow. It was so easy read, I got through it all in one sitting.
I am very excited to see what comes next!

Thank you, Ms. Ferrell!

Famished (Ash Park Series Book #1) by Meghan O’Flynn – Review by Angela Hayes

5 Stars

Famished is the first book in the Ash Park Series by Meghan O’Flynn. It in an intense, dark, gory, clever serial killer thriller/crime novel that had me completely gripped in its hold from beginning to end. There were times I thought I should have looked away, closed the book and stopped reading because it was quite shocking and disturbing in places- but I couldn’t, I was glued to the page, heart in my mouth, on the edge of my seat trying to piece everything together and figure it all out before everything was revealed. But, wow- I did not see THAT coming, at all!!! Ms. O’Flynn spun a brilliant web of intrigue, mystery and danger- cleverly choreographing everything into a riveting story and keeping me guessing right till the very end!!

I can’t wait to dive into book #2!

Thank you, Ms. Flynn!!!

The Dirty Rooster by Kelly Mooney – Review by Tracy Manderson

The Dirty RoosterThe Dirty Rooster by Kelly Mooney
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Dirty Rooster by Kelly Mooney
5 out of 5 stars
The Dirty Rooster written by Kelly Mooney is a new adult romance book. This is my first read by this author and it was amazing I loved the characters and their quirks but also the storyline is amazing. The easy flow between the characters and the secondary characters where great. I simple loved this story.
Preston Ellington spends long summer days on Hilton Head at his family’s hotel bar, slinging Dirty Rooster shots to half-naked women who eagerly jump into his bed for the promise of an equally dirty night. That’s the only promise he’ll make, since anything else will interfere with his plans.
He doesn’t do commitment because he has a dream and a trust fund. The last thing he needs is some gold-digger trying to sink her claws into his future.
Summer Fallon fled her hometown in New Jersey as soon as she had her college diploma in hand. She arrives in Hilton Head with one goal to make as much money as possible without distractions in the form of sleazy bartenders who take home a different girl every night. Her job as a hotel maid sure isn’t glamorous, considering the marathon sex fests she needs to clean up afterward in the penthouse, but it’s going to jumpstart her new life.
Will Preston let his walls down for Summer? Can Summer see behind Preston’s facade? Will they have a happily ever after or will everything blow up in their faces?
I simply loved this easy read and can’t wait to get my hands on more of Ms. Mooney’s books….

Badge Bunny (Romance in Rehoboth book 4) by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Susan Mowdy

Badge BunnyBadge Bunny by K L Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

AHH! I love this series and author! I was so excited to read this book and it doesn’t disappoint! You can read each book as a separate standalone but they truly awesome books that you don’t want to miss out on.

Brynne is an ER doctor that kind of has a thing for cops. She has dated numerous cops which has caused her co workers give her the nickname badge bunny. She’s finally over the whole cop thing when Chris (a state trooper) enters the picture. Their first meeting isn’t ideal but now they are in the wedding party of two of their friends and hilarious interactions continue!

I loved this book from the very first page and was sad when it ended. I love all the characters in each of these books but Brynne and Chris are probably my Favorite!!!

I am not going to tell you too much about this book I will just say – This book will commune you with its flawless emotional writing, it will fill you angry at all the BS in one person’s life. And if you find the right person and fight hard enough, you will have the strength to move forward and have the life you have always wanted.

Before reading this book, make sure a glass (bottle) of wine and box of tissues are nearby. If what I said and the blurb don’t have you one-clicking this book then I don’t know what to say.

Georgia Pine (Southern Promises Book 3) by K.G. Fletcher – Review by Jessica Leombruno

Georgia Pine (Southern Promises Book 3)Georgia Pine by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Georgia Pine is the third book in the Southern Promises series by K.G. Fletcher. Every book in this series just keeps getting better than the last. You briefly meet Jessica in Georgia Clay and got a quick glimpse into Jessica’s life in Georgia on My Mind and I excited to find out that the next book would be her story. I loved everything about Tim and Jessica’s story; he is the perfect gentleman for this Southern Belle. From their first meeting in the pantry, Tim was meant to loved and take care of these five girls. The way Tim cherished Jessica and loved her adorable four girls melted my heart. Some parts of this story reminded me of my step-father coming into my life and being the father that I needed.

K.G. Fletcher, your writing had me glued to my kindle from beginning to end. I can’t wait to see what you write next!

The Sound of Love (The Sound Series Book 1) by Maria Watts – Review by Heather Bass

The Sound of Love (The Sound series #1)The Sound of Love by Maria Watts
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book that I have read from this author and wow she blew me away. I absolutely love rockstar romance but this story exceeded all my expectations. This talented author made these characters come to life with her writing. This is the first book in The Sound series. These characters kept me up at all hours of the night. It only took me a few hours to devour this incredible book.

Nina Bains is your typical teenage. She is a good student and is a very good daughter. Nina doesn’t like any boys expect her dream love Chris Mulligan from the number one boy band of Funky Guys. She is absolutely in love with him. Nina is shocked when she finds out that one of her friends gives her Chis’s number. They start to get to know each other and when he comes into her town her life changes. Next thing she knows she is going on the road with her dream man. She quickly realizes that not everything is glitz and glamor for the rich and famous. Nine is caught into his world so much she starts to question everything she believes in. Will Nina be able to handle the rockstar life or will she realize that she doesn’t belong?

I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, struggles, and finding yourself. You will absolutely fall in love with these characters right from the beginning. Nina is a beautiful teenager that is trying to find out who she is. She is a sweetheart but she doesn’t let anyone walk on her. Chris is your handsome band heart throb that has a good heart. He loves his life but he also wants more than just fame. These characters have some steamy scenes that will make your temperature rise. This talented author will keep you at the edge of your seat until the end. I absolutely loved the ending. I can’t wait to meet the rest of this wonderful band.
