This is such a cute coloring book! This book has 30 pages of beautifully drawn artwork to color, well 31 if you count the cover sheet too. I like how this artist and author put a warning at the front to make sure to put something under your page if you don’t want the colors to leak through, and a whole blank page to test your colors. I don’t know how many times I have had to color on something else or off to the side of my masterpiece to test a color. The little characters are so sweet and it is fun to color them in the different halloween costumes, and of course who doesn’t love a Hocus Pocus inspired scene.
This is a super cute coloring book with Halloween pictures that is suitable for children and adults. Get lost coloring these super cute, original pictures!

Overly protected Melody is the step daughter of a very famous rockstar. Wil is in the USA to take part in a movie project at UCLA. A chance meeting between Wil and El (Melody) leads them on the journey of a life time. Trying to make the money needed to create a music video for El and to just live on and help with his mother’s medications back home in Germany. This couple finds that they have a lot in common when it comes to song writing and music in general. I absolutely adore the way they interact and get to know each other. It is a wonderful storyline. I love everything about this book.

This is the 4th book in the series but the only one I’ve read. I will definitely be going back to read the others! Jared and Ella have such a unique chemistry. The banter between them is felt through the pages. They start off with tons of bickering and arguing but that changes once they are snowed in a cabin together.

My daughter, my niece and my young cousin all LOVE LOVE LOVE this coloring book. The pages are adorable and super fun. Kept us coloring and comparing our pages for quite a while. A must have for all Halloween parties and get-togethers.
I like how it’s not written how you’d think it should be but worth the read. I don’t usually take to short stories but this one was worth the read. I like how it was different another time. Also, zombies aren’t usually my thing but I tolerated them for this short read, LOL. The way the author wrote this was cute and intriguing so kudos, I liked!

Right now, I’m reading so many books but this one made me put the others down. I have a sweet spot for poetry and musicals or music, in general. This book reminded me why I’m a writer (when I have time) because it made you feel raw and intense emotions you’d never thought of or dreamed of. Big thanks to author for taking me to a place I can only imagine to reach as an author! Great work!

This book is such a good, quick read that I found myself relating to in so many aspects. The characters were so believable and relatable. It’s a story about how people’s experiences and perspectives influence our path’s in life. It also is about when the past comes crashing into the present. Finally, it shows how the things we always thought, might not always be true. Ky works for the police. She has a loving family and has all the support in the world. However, her past comes crashing in around her when she makes an arrest. The man that she is arresting is Jayson. Jayson is a local drug dealer who is part of a large drug ring. However, he is also her childhood crush. The boy who broke her heart. Jayson has always fantasized about being with Ky, from the time he was really young. He had an awful home experience and Ky’s family truly influenced him in a major way. He didn’t mean to break Ky’s heart. In his eyes, she broke his heart. When they reconnect the sparks are instant. They both remember what they used to have. Jayson really wants to try having a relationship with Ky. But will their jobs hurt their chance of being able to have the relationship they desire. Are they willing to risk everything to be together? This is truly the epitome of a good girl / bad boy romance. And man did I love it. I truly recommend that anyone considering reading this book do it!

Ian Troy is back and he is recovering from his time in captivity, since his rescue, he is numb, his jailers took everything from him, his memories, his magic, his will and his freedom, as well as the freedom of his friends. As everything slowly and painfully returns he is recruited into a desperate rebellion against the High King Draken, a long time enemy of Ian’s and the one who kept him in the conditions he has just escaped.
He is tasked with the job of retrieving and repairing the Crown Of Stones, an object he has used in the past which creates the magic scars which cover his body, it is an artefact of his people which is now lost again, but which is needed to overthrow the High King. Ian is reluctant to use it again and put himself in the path of addiction his use of magic causes, but he knows he doesn’t really have a choice in the matter if he is to save his scattered friends.
What he cannot understand is why his scars are multiplying even though he is not using his magic, this is where he learns about his ancestry and the secrets which have been buried in the past, but can Ian reconcile the man he was, the man he is now and the man everyone needs his to be? This is a fantasy tale of good versus evil and all the grey areas in between, as a reluctant hero faces the past and future in order to save a world which he struggles to merge with, as you follow along on his adventures and feel everything along with his in this roller-coaster of emotion you will not want to put down.
So many gorgeous pictures to colour! The images have a Halloween twist but are also cute and fun! Plus I love the testing pages at the front that allow you to test your colouring materials first rather than potentially ruining any of the colouring pages by accident! Will be looking forward to more from this creator!
She hates him and what he stands for, but how do I get his eyes from staring at me in my dreams.
I saw her in the hospital and she intrigues me, her sassy nature draws me in but who is this woman who has snuck inside and I can’t let go.
This is the first book I have had read by this author and omg it is brilliant. I loved the way the characters interacted with each other and crated the tension and darkness the story oozed. The story itself was well written and created the tension and passion to hold you until the end.
This story twists and I loved the way the author weaved through the drama and the secondary characters added to the depth of the story.
I love this genre and I can say that this is one of the best written and developed stories I have read to date. I will definitely be reading the next in this series and more books by this author. Thank you for drawing me into the world of the Larussio family and more.

This was a great 5 star read. And a great start to a new series. I love mafia reads and this one did not disappoint. Adrianna was feisty and clearly did not like Salvatore in the beginning, by the way she was acting at the hospital. There was something about her that caught Salvatore’s attention. You could feel their chemistry coming off the pages. We get a mix of dark, romance and mafia danger all in one great story. I was pulled in right from the beginning and didn’t want to put it down. I loved Salvatore, he was a hot alpha male that always got what he wanted. The author does a great job with her writing. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. 1-click and get reading today.

Curse of the Elf Lord is the second intriguing book in the Kingdom of the Elf Lords series by Heidi Vanlandingham. It is a fantastic fantasy full of paranormal elements, romance, elves, shifters, magic, action, danger, drama, emotion, adventure, superb world building, challenges, past history, interconnected details, complexity, depth, family, a quest, and high stakes. After reading the first book, ‘Return of the Elf Lord’ I wasn’t about to pass up the opportunity to read this instalment. I had high hopes for what it might contain- especially after finding out about the curse that turns an Elf into a werewolf… I was already hooked by at that stage and my anticipation was set on high. After excitedly diving right in, I was soon engrossed in all the intriguing developments- and devoured every word. I was so happy that the story turned out to be every bit as good as I hoped it could be, and more. I can’t wait to read Cyran and Shalendra’s story, Book #3 in the series! Happy Reading!

A Sci-fi fated love romantic story with loads of adventure. This story is short and sweet with plenty of chemistry between the two main characters. It’s the first time I’ve read of a space vampire, but who says vampires can’t be aliens. It works well in this story. The journey with loss and hopelessness leads to trustint one another. Love between the two, growing underneath betrayal, grief and pain. Review by @bilberrysweet Brandy Vaughn, September 2023

I think this book should be a must have for kids. Definitely one of the best books by Lois Wickstrom. Absolutely recommend.

I enjoyed We Blend. It reminded me of all the romance movies that have been made when lying by omission could come back to bite you. The author weaved an interesting story with wonderful characters. Character growth was presented in an elegant way. Especially between the two main characters. El and Wil have ended up in the same place at the same time. Her trying to take a leap of faith and him in turn being the savior she needed to succeed. Unfortunately for El she doesn’t know that Wil has a hidden agenda with every intention of using her. What Wil never realized is El is not the person he assumed she was. She’s sheltered and kept isolated, but is it really for her own good? I feel like her parents are holding her back, they don’t want a career in stardom for her. El wants to have a music career. And music is my favorite theme throughout. Music allows both El and Wil to truly see each other. It also is a big growth contributing factor. Does Wil’s secret come back to haunt him? Will El’s parents realize they are smothering her and not protecting her? I look forward to reading other books by this author in the future. Because I went into this one with hope and promise, and it Absolutely delivered! Now it’s your turn!

There is a beginning scribble page to test out your art media and what to do if your coloring bleeds through. This is a great idea! Faces look like anime anime artwork and the damsels are age appropriate in design. The characters don’t look scary and are adorable. There are enough details in the pictures to keep you interested and keep coloring for any age group. I like to do adult coloring and this is a wonderful book! WOOT!!! She did it again!!! Another feather in this talented author’s cap! Boss’s Vendetta is the first book in the Sicilian Gods series by Via Mari. This is a fantastic start to a new series, but is also a bit of a nod to ‘The Larussio Legacy’ series as this first instalment gives us Salvatore Larussio’s story- and wow, what a story he has! It is a fantastic dark mafia romantic suspense with an enemies-to-lovers and forced proximity element- as well as danger, intensity, drama, action, chemistry, sizzle, agendas, mafia politics, high stakes, emotion, and more. As I have mentioned so many times now, I have read all of Via Mari’s book and have loved every one of them. She never fails to deliver a sexy and enticing read that keeps me glued to the pages as all the gritty developments unfold. And this story didn’t let me down! With wonderful characters, superb chemistry, attention to detail, as well as palpable suspense cleverly woven throughout the plot… all this gripping tension definitely had me on the edge of my seat- avidly reading to discover how it would all play out. Well Done! Bring on Book #2!

As always I’m happy with Lois Wickstrom’s work. This is a really cute kids book. Lois Wickstrom always makes the stories fun and makes sure to teach the young ones in the process. It’s a wonder the steam from this couple didn’t melt them away from their snow covered prison in the mountains. You could cut that sexual tension with a knife. And those are exactly the things that made this such a fun read. Ella is very much a “what you see if what you get” type of chick, but Jared is another package that takes some time to unwrap and figure out. Boy’s got some issues, but I enjoyed watching them work through their differences and find each other. I loved this book and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to read it. If I did it all over again, I would start from the beginning of the series, just so I had a little better sense of some of the chapters. But no worries, as I’m ready to jump right into those now! Strongly suggest this fun read!

All I can say is WOW! When I started reading this book I thought it was a romance novel but as I made it further into the book I could tell it was much more! This book started as romantic suspense to a new high with fast-paced, action-packed twists and turns. The book follows two main characters, Kylee and Jayson. They come from two very different ways of life. Jayson is from an abusive alcoholic low income family. At the same time, Kylee comes from a large supportive family. Kylee and Jayson finally stop fighting the physical and emotional attraction they have had all these years for one another things start to become more complicated. When Kylee gets jumped because of her job as a police officer and Jayson is about to blow his cover as a DEA agent he must leave Kylee alone in the hospital recovering from a horrific attack that left her almost dead. I love that the author jumped to the future in the story to continue the story at a turning point! I can’t wait to read more from this author!!

The Mermaid and the Ice Cube Necklace is a science based story where two friends learn that cold water doesn’t melt ice cubes as quickly as warm water. When two friends decide to make their mermaid friend a necklace made from ice cubes by blowing on them through a straw to make holes in them, they learn that the ice cubes float. This book is a fun story with an educational base. The illustrations are great and the topic is relevant to young scientists.
