The Traveler: Chimera Rising (The Book of Eleanor 3) by Shannon Nemechek is a time travel paranormal fantasy story. It is fast paced and takes up where the second book left off. The story is well written and keeps you immersed in the story as the characters are transported back through time to 1692 Scotland and meet up with an old foe. It is full of intrigue and danger, magic and spies, drama and suspense and let’s not forget the prophecy. Once again Shannon’s vivid narrative makes it easy to love and easily imagine her characters and the worlds she has created.
I’ve said it before but if you love Outlander, you will love this.

I enjoyed this time travel story and the adventure it took me on. This is the third book in this series which I highly suggest reading the previous two books in this series. This is one of my favorites by this author yet. This is a well developed story that takes you on a time travel adventure that makes you feel you are with the characters. I had no problem connecting to them as they kept me turning pages. This story picks up where the Revolution left off. This is where the story picks up the action, a mission is revealed and fate gives it opinions on things. I won’t say too much because there is much going on in this book I think you read about for yourselves. This is a great series that is worth picking up which I highly recommend you do. Don’t miss out on an adventure of time.

The book The Traveler: Chimera Revolution (The Book of Eleanor 2) by Shannon Nemechek was a great book to read. I did not read the first book in the series, but I plan to go back and read it. The story was very professionally written, and the characters and storyline are amazing. This story transports you back to 1779 Savannah with Katie and Colm. There they face deception, lies, secrets, and an old foe. Protecting the book from destruction as well as Katie being tutored in magic and trying to keep those with them alive will have Katie and Colm dodging danger. This is a fast paced book that keeps you intrigued from the first few pages, I cant wait for more from this series to come out.

This is the second book in The Book Of Eleanor Series. Unfortunately I didnt read the first book and as this book starts where the first book finished i do recommend reading the 1st book before reading this one.
Even though it made it tricky to follow to begin with it didn’t make this book any less enjoyable. It is full of mystery, danger, intrigue and magic as Katie and Colm travel through time. They are sent to protect Colm’s great great grandfather but will their presence make any difference or will their presence change the course of the future.
Its a great read that keeps you hooked from the first to the last page.

The Traveller: Chimera Revolution is a story full of action and fantasy, with Katie fighting to protect the book will she be able to and get back.
Katie has be propelled back to 1779 Savannah where she has met Colm and with his help they are trying to uncover truths and trying to keep safe the people are helping them but can they survive. Katie is delving into the world of magic to try and protect the book but are there forces against them and can Katie battle against evil.
I have a bit of a disadvantage as I delved straight into this book with out reading the first one and although I caught up with the story I felt I missed some important elements to this story and so I read the first book after this one and caught up to date so too speak.
The characters were brilliant and you could feel the chemistry coming off the page with Katie and Colm, especially with the commitment that both seemed to have. The story was well written and had a bit of an “Outlander” feel which flowed through which making me forget the world around me and was transported into the world with them. The secondary character compliment the story and the main characters and not distract from the story.
I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who loves the fantasy, action packed stories this is certainly one for you.

The Traveler: Chimera Revolution (The Book of Eleanor 2) by Shannon Nemechek. I loved this book. It begins just where the 1st book left off. It can be read as a standalone but will make much more sense if you read Book 1 first. This story takes you back to 1779 Savannah and you feel like you are actually there in the book. As Katie and Colm enter 1779 Savannah they face all kinds of obstacles including, lies, betrayals, secrets and old enemies. While Katie has to protect the book she is being taught magic. Captain Colm & Katie are swept into danger, mystery and intrigue. This is a super fast paced read and it will keep you on the edge of your seat. Mrs. Shannon has really outdone herself with this book! As this is my first read from her I highly recommend reading book 1. I loved everything about this witty, page-turner. This book follows Katie and Colm on their next adventure.
Katie, a 21st century woman, is thrown back into the past. A past in which she finds love. When she starts learning things; it seems the past isn’t all it seems.
Colm, a Captain,is thrown for a loop when he finds love. He learns that his great great great grandfather isn’t all he was told. He learns things his father didn’t even know.
This is the second book of The Eleanor Books and I highly recommend it. It had me on the edge of my seat and I honestly couldn’t put it down. I would read the first so you aren’t confused with what’s happening.
I was excited to get my hands on this one after I read the first book in the The Book of Eleanor series. The Traveler: Chimera Revolution picks up right off of where book one left off so I would highly recommend that you read it before you read this one. These books are fast paced time travel and fantasy reads. They have a little bit of everything for everyone though and keep the reader engaged from page one till the last. I loved how this one keeps the suspense and drama deep and strong as you read and feel as if you are in Savannah in 1779. I feel as if I do take a time to travel to the locations and can feel the air and ground as I watch and follow along the adventures taking place. I can’t say enough good things about these novels, even though this one takes the favorite place as of now. This is a series you won’t want to miss and will find yourself thinking about and longing for long after the time you finish reading it. I can’t wait to see what the next book will hold and where it will take us!

The Traveller: Chimera Revolution by Shannon Nemechek a four-star read that will take you on a journey. This is the second book in the series and it picks up where the first leaves so I would recommend you read them in order. If you like a good time travelling drama then this would be a great series for you, its action packed and will pull you into the story much like the main character Katie Butler. But its not all action, there is intrigue, deception and danger that will keep you hooked to the page. It comes so close to being a five-star read, I have high hopes for the next part of Eleanor s story.

I haven’t read the first book in the series and I was a little worried that I would be completely lost but actually I was dragged into the story straight away and whilst reading book 1 would have given me answers to some of my questions I absolutely loved what I read. I love historical stories but I’m quite new to the time travel genre and I have to say this author has me hooked on it now! I was captivated by the author’s wonderful writing, full of great descriptive language and fantastic characters. I am definitely going to read book 1 now and I am very excited to read book 3!! The Traveler: Chimera Revolution (The Book of Eleanor #2) by Shannon Nemechek was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning. I do suggest that you read book one first, since this book started where book one ended.
You get pulled in by the authors writing and we get a great storyline. I really like these characters and seeing the journey continue was great. In the first chapter we are transported back in history to 1779. Colm and Katie have an electric connection and are in tune with each other. They find out that Katie is the only one that can help. Katie has to train and learn control before confronting Mordred.
Will she be successful and defeat him?
Overall I really enjoyed the read. I look forward to reading the next book in the series. I like the historical pieces that are weaved into the story, King Author, Camelot and so much more. There are so many different characters that added a great element to the story. There were a couple of spots that got me emotional and on the edge of my seat. We end with these two going into another journey. I can’t wait to read the next book. This is the second book in the series and I highly recommend you read book one otherwise this book will not make sense to you. This is a true continuation book. It picks up where the first book left us in the cliff hanger. I love the illustration Shannon Nemechek uses in her books. I enjoy the adventures the characters go on. In this book, here is danger, mystery, magic, and some intense sexual content. Also, there are lies, tension, and old foes. Colm and Katie have travel back in time. Will this be too much for them? Will they find others they can trust to assist them? Who can they trust? The next book is due to come out in December of 2020 and I cannot wait. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.

I have no words for this amazing book! This is the second book in Shannon’s The Travelor series and it is absolutely amazing! I was on the edge of my seat with each page, desperate to find out what happens next! I absolutely loved the first book Chimera Rebellion and impatiently waited for this sequel! To start with, I had not read the first book so I did not have a stepping ground and got pulled into the middle of the action. It took me a while to figure out who is who, but once that is sorted, the book was rock and roll! The story transports the two main characters Katie and Colm to 1779 Savannah, where they are pulled into a world of deception, danger and lies, and an old enemy. There is a prophecy to be fulfilled and there is suspense in every step they tread on. Katie has to figure out whom to trust and whom not to. Colm is to make a choice, which will decide the course of history. It is overall a very gripping read; I only wish I had read the first book so that I can understand this one better. I will surely pick up the previous book very soon!

Having read the first book in the series I was looking forward to this second book and I was not disappointed, like book one it took me on an epic and exciting adventure through time. This book does continue on from the cliffhanger ending in the previous book, ‘Chimera Rebellion’, however it does provide a ‘Where we Left Off’ chapter to begin the story. This time Katie and Colm are taken on a trip through time to 1779 Savannah, in the midst of the American Revolution. Here they enter a world of spies and magic, and also come face to face with an old foe. The couple still have the book and are still protecting it and to help them with this task Katie finds a tutor to help her learn magic. When an ancient friend appears and seems to guide them, they must decide if he really is a friend. Meanwhile Colm is still battling with deciding which side he is on and must confront his great-great-grandfather to convince him that life without Eleanor is possible. Colm tries to get his ancestor to fight on the right side of history but without revealing the future it’s a difficult task. This second journey seems to be even more dangerous than Katie and Colm’s previous one and they must not only protect the book but save themselves, and stop the prophecy becoming true. This is a fast paced novel which took me on an exciting journey back to the American Revolution. The storyline is full of adventure, suspense and drama along with a little romance, all of which had me hooked. I felt immersed in the story and I loved the main characters, Katie and Colm and how their relationship changed and developed throughout the story. This is a great read and I am now looking forward to book three in the series.

These characters pull you so completely into their world that I forgot the real world for a while which can be nice. The characters are complex and relatable. They are well developed and you root for them. This author has a wonderful way of keeping readers coming back for more and you can sink into this story and it was definitely difficult when I reached the last page but I’m definitely looking forward to more. It’s a fast paced story but you don’t get lost, well thought out storyline. I’m giving this book four big stars and highly recommend it. Can’t wait to see where this author takes readers next.

I am happy to say that this is just as bit as good as the first book and makes me really look forward to reading the rest of the series. As we discovered in Book One- Katie Butler and her love of old books results in her being catapulted on an adventure through time- on a date with destiny. Katie hears of a rare book which piques her curiosity and she is determined to track it down. This leads to her to being swept back in time- and smack bang into the middle of a war- crossing paths with Captain Colm O’Donnell- changing their lives forever. This story picks up where they left off in book one, with discoveries to be made, secrets to be revealed, choices to be made- all while figuring out what the book has in store for them and their role in it all. The Traveller: Chimera Revolution book two of the Book of Eleanor series by Shannon Nemechek was a great sequel! This was a great read, I was instantly enthralled and couldn’t put the book down once I started it. I really enjoyed the first book, and this was one was no different! I loved the characters, the plot, and the storyline itself. The plot of the series keeps getting better and better. I love the added history to the stories, it just makes them that much better. This book starts right where book one ends. I could not wait to get my hands on this one. I love time travel and Miss Nemechek has so far hit this series out of the ballpark. I love it.
Not going into any of the storyline because of how book 1 ended and I don’t want to give anything away, just know you must read these in order to get the full effect.
I loved this book as much as I loved the first one and already can not wait for the next. It has such a great reading flow, so great in fact I was finished before I knew it. It was a one sitting read because once you get started you can not put it down.

The book The Traveler: Chimera Revolution (The Book of Eleanor 2) by Shannon Nemechek is an exciting and at times breathtaking book to read. It pulled me in right from the start and I was hooked. The story includes romance, danger, and magic. This story transports you back to 1779 Savannah with Katie and Colm. There they face deception, lies, secrets, and an old foe. Protecting the book from destruction as well as Katie being tutored in magic and trying to keep those with them alive will have Katie and Colm dodging danger. This is a story that had me turning pages to find out what was going to happen next. I love the characters of Katie and Colm and I found myself rooting for all to come out as it should. The additional characters are interesting, and I found myself enjoying reading about many of them. There are also those characters who have an agenda who I hoped would fail. There are emotional moments as well as suspenseful ones. Don’t miss out on the second book in an entertaining series. You will not want to put it down until you have read the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

I enjoyed this book. This is the second book in this series, it is just as good as the first one if not better. I highly suggest you read book one before this one as this one will pick up where the first one left off. This is a well written story that took me on an adventure that kept me engaged and turning pages. The characters are connectable and made the story for me. This story picks up where Katie and Colm took a trip back in time. Katie finds someone to help her with her magic but is the person really a friend? Colm has to choose which side he is on. Will he choose the right side of history? Their story is one of spies, danger, magic and the adventure they go on could mean survival and fulfilling a prophecy. This is a fast paced story that I had a hard time putting down. I highly recommend this book and this author.

The Traveler: Chimera Rebellion (The Book of Eleanor 1) by Shannon Nemechek. When I read the blurb I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect but I knew I was interested to see where this author was about to take me. And boy am I so very glad I opened this book up and stepped inside. Katie immediately drew me inside the story and I was ready for an adventure and this story gave me just that. I couldn’t put it down and I’ll be honest I wasn’t ready for it to end. The author’s writing style is smooth and detailed, I found myself forgetting I was only reading what was happening and not living it or watching it. I’m excited to see where the author takes readers next. Four stars and highly recommended.

The Traveler: Chimera Rebellion was a great 5 star read.and book one in the Book of Eleanor series.
I was pulled in right from the beginning. Katie is in Savannah enjoying a vacation, when she hears a story that intrigues her. She is determined to find the book. She ends up traveling back in time. This is where she meets Colm O’Donnell and things get more interesting from here.
Will Katie stay in the past or come back to the present time?
Overall, this was a great read. I really loved all of the characters. The authors writing pulls you right into the story and you feel like your there with them. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. 1-click and get started today.

The Traveler: Chimera Rebellion (The Book of Eleanor Book 1) by Shannon Nemechek is full of Magic, romance, and time travel. I fell in love with it immediately. Katie is taking a break before beginning her new role and managing her PTSD. She stumbles on a story that is a huge part of the small Georgia town history that she us somehow tied to. I loved following her and learning of Colm and Eleanor. Each of these characters was amazing and realistic. I loved the Bits of history mixed into this fun story. It was an excellent read and I highly recommend it.
