This is the first R.L. Dunn book I’ve read, not offhand realizing that it was book 6 in the Chase Care series. That being said, other than being annoyed with myself for not starting at the beginning, you don’t HAVE to start at book 1, so don’t be discouraged if this is the topic that pulls you in!
Being in the medical field myself, I really really enjoyed that aspect of the story. There were enough things that I found relatable having worked both in oncology as well as the acute care (hospital) setting that I found the storyline very fun! The romance progressed quickly, which was enjoyable as well, and there were a number of *gasp* moments that had my husband turning to check on what was happening only to see me deep in the story. Definitely a catchy read, I’m eager to catch up on the rest of the Chase Care series!

As a member of the Morpheus Society, an elite, highly trained group of Mediums, Madame Chalamet is required to provide mentorship to an aspiring Medium at least once every ten years. Not a job she much enjoys, Madam Chalamet is even more disgruntled to have been saddled with a know-it-all of an apprentice who touts natural talent ahead of book smarts. When the Duke de Archembeau appears with a nobleman friend who’s daughter has recently disappeared, she displays her own natural talents of Ghost Talking to discover what has happened to the missing daughter and her attractive maid.
This thoroughly enjoyable series continues to entertain, moving through new mysteries and tales of love, while simultaneously furthering the heroine’s personal motives of learning the identify of her father’s killer.
Anxiously awaiting Book 4!

This sweet story of an un-birthday tradition between a little boy and his beloved Grandpa teaches little ones the importance of savoring time (and cake!). The whimsical illustrations contribute to the illusion of using what was initially a disappointing un-birthday present (a seemingly empty box) to learning how to wield the power of his “magic wand” (or, his imagination).

Very sweet story!

Ms. Rose penned an intriguing mystery that dances within paranormal sects as a mysterious security detail is tasked to protect the “Blood Opal” on display for one night only- a night that ends in disaster for Tamaska, the event organizer, and Kodiak, the head of security.
The first in a series (of hopefully many), Tamaska and Kodiak cross path multiple times while on the search for the Blood Opal, Tamaska to save her career, Kodiak to save his pack. Vampires, Werewolves and a lot of sexual tension fill this page turner with excitement, intrigue and anticipation of what’s to come in the next installment of the Protector Wolf Shifter Series.
