The Empty Box (Invisible Magic Wand Series) by Lois Wickstrom – Review by Sharon Funkhouser
The Empty Box by Lois Wickstrom
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This sweet story of an un-birthday tradition between a little boy and his beloved Grandpa teaches little ones the importance of savoring time (and cake!). The whimsical illustrations contribute to the illusion of using what was initially a disappointing un-birthday present (a seemingly empty box) to learning how to wield the power of his “magic wand” (or, his imagination).
Very sweet story!
