I was excited to pick this up because it’s a trilogy and I love to binge read! I hadn’t read anything by this author before, but I definitely enjoy the style of writing. I really like how she grabs your attention and doesn’t let go throughout all three stories! It’s amazing how she can make a book go by so fast, I was definitely craving more by the end. Laura Koerber writes magical realism like no other. You will feel like you’re inside each story with her in-depth characters instead of just being an observer from the outside. I highly recommend this trilogy especially if you enjoy the supernatural and dystopian genres!
