Dominic and Emilia are the focal point this time round and I felt there was a bit of a Romeo and Juliet spin to it which just hit the spot for me but thing gets really intense when these 2 lovebirds cross a line …. She’s willing to give it all up for him and he’s willing to protect her at any cost
There’s so much going on here drama ,violence , angst , steamy and swoony moments , heartache and I just had the time of my life , when I talk of the character people think they’re real ! I know I get really involved 😉❣️📚

I absolutely love all these dark mafia romance books, they are some of my favorites to read. This one was exceptional from the get go.
Lorenzo is the consigliere to the Larussio mafia family, whose job it is to ensure the Larussio family maintains their position in the crime world. So when an innocent family member is kidnapped he knows retribution must follow and is planning on how to execute that so everyone knows not to try something like it again. Then in walks Izzy, a reporter who is hell bent on uncovering and reporting all of the mafia’s dirty little secrets. She is not even on Lorenzo’s radar until he spots her in the VIP section of the Larussio property. This becomes a battle of not only attraction but wits as Izzy aims to expose the mafia for what it truly is. The attraction is palpable between them and with Izzy being a thorn in their side she is offered a job to write the stories they want her to publish. It definitely starts out as a love hate relationship that quickly evolves but there are enormous trust issues on both sides. Can Lorenzo trust someone who is determined to air the mafia’s secrets? Can Izzy trust someone whose past is as dark as his eyes? Will they ever be able to find common ground to make a relationship work or is it doomed to fail?
This was an amazingly well written book that I for one could not put down. The characters are well thought out and diverse. The action starts from the very first page to keep the reader immersed and engaged throughout. This book is a keeper and I will recommend it to everyone I meet that enjoys reading any type of book because this has a bit of everything in it!

Izzy and Lorenzo’s story is full of danger, suspense and revenge. It’s time to take a time-out and get started on this book!

I picked up this book and read it as a standalone instead of the entire series. I didn’t feel lost, but I am absolutely going back to pick up the first two books now! Consigliere’s Revenge is an incredible mafia romance with plenty of action, suspense, and steamy. Every time I thought I had the next move figured out, Via Mari would twist and turn the other way keeping me on my toes. I love that I never felt jarred out of the story with a bad flow or inconsistencies. This author did an amazing job creating a world that you feel like you dive right into with Lorenzo and Izzy. I’m picking up the previous books in the series now, so don’t pass this one up. It’s THAT good!

Dominic Larussio is never played by any rules other than the ones the family set forth. Still, even those weren’t always followed. Emelia Rosa, the mafia princess of their rival, happens to just fall in the lap of the Larussio during the revenge battle how could Dominic pass that opportunity up. With the kidnapping of his younger cousin, and the bloodshed at his cousin’s wedding it was time for the DaRosas to get payback and Emelia was as perfect as it came. Just like the first book in this series, the relationship between Dominic and Emelia is one of hot/cold with a whole lot of love/hate. One of the best acts of revenge that Emelia can get on her father is showing up to a family funeral on the arm of her father’s sworn enemy. Yet, again this author did not disappoint! This book was so full of action, love, war, and steamy at parts that I could not put it down nor did I want to. I needed to keep reading to find out what happened next.

This instalment focuses on Lorenzo and Isabella. Once again, the story was written well and almost comes to life on the pages whilst the chemistry between the characters sizzles and leaps off the pages.
I once again loved the female lead, Isaabella, she’s strong and independent, and fights for what she believes in, I admire that.
This book is full of action, danger and more. It is probably my favourite of the 3 books so far, not only because of the couple’s chemistry where I was rooting for them, but also because the storyline was not entirely as expected, it was so much better.
This series can be read as standalones but for the characters growth and underlying events which occur, I would recommend reading this series in order.

The emotional and sexual push and pull between Adrianna and Salvatore is so well written that you can feel it threw every page. I loved reading this story so much that I could not put the book down. I am going to continue reading this series.

Izzy Arden is a journalist, she is a determined woman who knows what she wants and the stubborn streak she needs to get it, especially in the cut throat world she works in, but she is known for her truth seeking and not mincing her words when she writes, but when she is confronted by a pair of dark eyes and a sexy body, she is more determined than ever to discover his secrets.
As soon as he lays eyes on her, Lorenzo recognised Izzy from across the room and immediately asks how she got there and who she was with, she should not have been able to access this area without a full background check and he is determined to discover how she did it, so when he confronts her in the elevator as he escorts her out, her quick wit and fiery temper match her red hair and hot body to match and this throws him completely off balance. As Lorenzo wakes to find a hot story about his family gracing the front pages, he knows that he has to do something about the inquisitive journalist, but just what is something he has to figure out and time runs out for that and a quick decision has to be made after some juicy titbits are about to be yet another release by a certain redhead who turned up at a family event she most definitely was not invited to. Meanwhile, Izzy is made an offer which she knows she can’t refuse by Lorenzo, so she grudgingly accepts, knowing that although she will still be reporting, it may not be the full truth as she sees it, but add into the mix a handsome mafia in a well fitting designer suit, she knows that if the attraction between them is two sided, she is in more than just choppy waters. As Lorenzo gives in to the attraction between himself and Izzy, he cannot help but try to win her trust as well.
When danger calls and threats made to Izzy come true, will she be able to keep her journalistic integrity under pressure and what will Lorenzo do to get her back, will he unleash his inner demons on the world and remind the opposition why he is called Cosa Nostra back in his homeland and what will Izzy do when she discovers this side of him? This is the third book in the series and I could not wait to dig in! I have read numerous books by this author and absolutely LOVED this book! This book had me on pins and needles needing to know what was going to happen next! I could not put this book down and was hooked from the first sentence to the last chapter! This is the second book in this mafia romance series. Each book can be read as a standalone, but I advise you go back and read the first for a better understanding of some characters/the world the characters inhabit.
I loved the character of Emelia. She’s strong, determined to protect her family and she’s resourceful.
Dominic and Emelia had me invested in their relationship and the outcome, both characters showed themselves to be more than met the eye at face value and loyal to those they care about.
I thoroughly enjoyed this instalment in the series, and will get started on the next book immediately.

This is the third book in the Sicilian Gods Series. I have read all of them but I will say that each book works as a standalone. Each book is fantastic and they just keep getting better. Each book focuses on one family member. This book focuses on Lorenzo’s story and I must say that I was completely unable to put it down. The steam between Lorenzo and Izzy jumps of the page and leaves you wanting even more. I definitely recommend reading this as it features amazing characters and a wonderful story line.

This is a mafia romance which focuses on Salvatore Larussio and Adrianna. These two start out hating each other but as the events unfold, this grows into something more.
This story is full of suspense, action, secrets and of course romance. It’s a well-written and enjoyable to read with lovable characters.
I love Salvatore’s protectiveness and loyalty – he comes across as cold but underneath it, there’s more than meets the eye.
I admired Adrianna’s strength and independence, standing her ground even in the face of danger.
The two together share sizzling chemistry and I was rooting for them from the beginning. I’m glad I came across this book and will move onto the next book as soon as possible.

This is the third book in the Sicilian Gods series and omg they just keep getting better and better. I have loved all of these books and I do recommend reading them from the beginning so you get the complete story the crime families and why they are in the situation they are today. This is a enemies to lovers story based around a Mafia family and their bitter fights with other families. As you can imagine there is plenty of danger, threats, violence, secrets and lies that will get uncovered as the story develops. One thing I love about the men in the Larussio men is they are scary and they fight hard but they also protect and love the people closest to them just as hard. In this story we are with Lorenzo. At first I thought he was the most scary of the family. He is all business and doesn’t bat an eye at threatening people to protect his family. Which is how he encounters Izzy. Izzy is a determined reporter, scared of nothing and no one not even Lorenzo. But she is hiding secrets about her past too about who she truly is and why she is so determined to uncover the truth about the Larussio’s. The attraction between them is intense and something neither one of them can deny but with Izzy’s trust issues this isn’t going to be an easy romance. And with their enemies now looking at her as a way to bring down Lorenzo, he will protect her with everything he has and God help anyone who tries to take her away from him.
This is an amazing read that is full of twists and turns that I just couldn’t put down. This author delivers amazing books everytime and i can’t wait to see what is instore next.

Consigliere’s Revenge is the third book in the Sicilian Gods Series and is a Mafia Romance with a bit of suspense that once you start reading there’s no stopping until you finish. I devoured this book in one afternoon. As with any book by this author you are pulled into the characters world and feel everything they are experiencing. I’m a huge fan of Mafia Romance and a even bigger fan of this author. I never hesitate to read whatever she writes and I love each one. I highly recommend reading this series in order as each book is about a different couple but there are characters that overlap in each story plus you get a better idea of what has happened and you get to know the characters . This story is packed with drama, revenge, action, loyalty and so much more. Get ready for some serious sparks to fly in this intense story. I highly recommend reading to find out what happens next as you don’t want to miss it. As always I look forward to reading more from this Author.

I can’t believe that we are already three books into this series. That being said you can definitely read this is a stand alone but seriously why would you want to. You have two other books before this of amazing mafia men that you won’t want to miss out on. Okay, this book is hands down amazing and grips koi to the words within the first chapter. You won’t want to do anything else other than read what is on the pages. You will try to figure things out as you go along but you won’t be able to. That is what I loved the most about this book. When I thought it was going to go one way it went a different way. I am a huge fan of the mafia trope and these books do no let me down. You will find the right amount of suspense, steam, character development, and just honestly good writing. The book brings into the plot the other two books but if you haven’t read them, you will want to. However the author makes it to where you understand what is going on and aren’t left clueless. It is a quick read with the need to finish it in one day. I personally recommend reading the other two books in the series first because I love this series and the mafia men in them. However, if you don’t have time you will be fine. This is book 3 in the Sicilian Gods Series and man oh man it is so good. The whole series is wonderful. The continuing saga of the Larussio Crime family is captivating. Lorenzo is the consigliere of the family and always does what is best for the family until he meets Izzy, a reporter who is writing stories about Mafia in Vegas. He intends to stop her but her attraction is too much for him. Can they find common ground or will they destroy each other? I get so excited when I start a new book in this series.

This was a 5 star read. I love dark and steamy and this book has it all. I was pulled right in from the beginning. Lorenzo and Izzy, I really enjoyed their story. Another riveting take in the story between the De Rosa and LaRussio families! I am so excited to see if there’s a next book, or what the next book will entail. The suspense, enemies to lovers with a HEA, everything about this book was phenomenal. Everything about this series so far is just absolute perfection! If you’re a Mafia lover, definitely check this book and the other books in the series out!

This book is a huge storm of action, romance, mystery, and tenacity! I absolutely loved every second of it, and just devoured it! I don’t know if I was just so drawn in to the book that it took me such a short time to finish it, or if it is a shorter book, but either way it was a very quick read! I highly recommend this author and this series! Mafia lovers, don’t sleep on Sicilian God’s! You won’t regret it, because this author does not disappoint!

Consigliere’s Revenge (Sicilian Gods Book 3) by Via Mari. First of all I love this series and anything written by this author. This book is so good and its like I say for all of this authors books, be prepared to not put this book down! This is the story of Lorenzo who has come to Vegas from the old country to finish some things left undone. Part of his job with the Laruisso’s family is to spin stories to make them look good. Enter Izzy Arden a reporter has been spitting out stories of the famous mafia family for years. It doesn’t hurt that she’s red headed and gorgeous. Once they meet its like wildfire and they can’t control each other. Their passion is so strong it is uncontrollable. Will Lorenzo get the revenge he’s looking for while also getting the girl or will he lose his job and his love? This is a fast paced love story about revenge, murder and the mafia that you won’t want to miss.

Book 2 begins at the De Rosa mansion when the Larussio’s come in at the end of book 1, when Dominic takes off to find the younger De Rosa children. It picks up very quickly and focuses on the magnetic attraction between Dominic Larussio and Emilia De Rosa as he snatches her to take to their warehouse for information.
Dominic realizes very quickly that Emilia is no little princess, shielded from everything their lives entail. In fact, she is wildly resourceful and has a major desire to help her family and bring down her enemy. Her lack of fear when faced with danger not only keeps her alive in many situations, but earns her Dominic’s admiration and respect, beyond his attraction to her and their magnetic pull towards one another.
There are some things Dominic chooses to keep to himself, both things from Sal and the family as well as from Emilia while he tries to balance everything, find out who is behind which terrible act and why, make a plan to protect his family and the woman he is falling in love with…with some good passionate sections and good brutality to make sure you don’t forget exactly who you’re reading about. Well written, nice world building, gritty without being grotesque, and characters you can’t help but root for.

Lorenzo has come to Las Vegas from the old country to help tie up loose ends from Sal taking the lead in the family and Dom becoming underboss, and their previously told stories. He knows that part of his job as Consigliere is to handle the stories that come out and spin things however they need.
In this case, he knows he needs to keep his eyes on the talented and gorgeous red headed reporter, Izzy Arden. She has been circling stories of the mafia issues arising between the Larussio’s and De Rosa’s. When she manages to steal a key card that gets her to the secret, members-only top floor it proves to be a push too far. Following them to the cemetary as they lay to rest the family lost at the wedding reception is what first gets Lorenzo to approach her and the burn of undeniable interest between them starts immediately.
Thus begins a delicate balancing act between what Izzy writes, what Lorenzo reads, the story she expertly weaves to lead anyone picking up a paper to believe what she wants them to believe…and the risks involved in getting in a relationship with a mafia man. Their passion is explosive, the weaving together and tying loose ends between the previous two books is artful, and it is a fascinating back and forth between seeing how dark Lorenzo can be while also being a fair man who can love deeply and sincerely.

As with all of this author’s books, you are immediately drawn into the story. Lorenzo hires a somewhat frustrating journalist to start to spin stories in their favor, but he definitely got more than he bargained for. While this is the third installment of the Sicilian Gods Series, you can read this as a standalone. Though you won’t want to. You’ll want to know each and every character’s story!

OMG I LOVED this book! From beginning to end I was completely hooked by what I was reading. I’ve read so many of this authors book now that I don’t even bother reading the synopsis I just grab and start reading and as per usual I was not disappointed. I honestly don’t know how she does it every time I say that’s my favourite until I read the next one! This book was just fantastic, this book is definitely dark and delicious from the very start. Lorenzo and Izzy’s story was amazing, she was definitely a match for him and I loved that about the two characters. This book could be read as a standalone but I would 100% recommend reading them in order, you won’t be disappointed!!
