Continuing the world of Italian Mafia in Vegas, this third book in the Sicilian Gods series doesn’t disappoint! A local Vegas reporter Isabella is potentially sharing some secrets via the news. Lorenzo must stop Isabella from sharing those secrets. How will he get her to stop while he fights his attraction to her? Expanding the world a bit more and seeing how Dominic and Isabella try to fight the attraction each has for the other shows the author’s talent. Book 2 in the Sicilian Gods series, this book is about Dominic and Emelia are from two enemy families. Unlike Dominic who is involved in the family business, Emelia has been sheltered from her family dealings and business. Don’t get it wrong though, Emelia is a strong smart character. I really enjoyed getting to know more about Dominic in this book and love the continuation of the first book spilling into this second book. The author did a great job keeping the story moving and adding the new characters into it. I had a hard time putting the book down at bed time or whenever I had a few minutes to read it.

It’s been a while since I read a book by this author. The author does a wonderful job building the world of the Italian Crime Family of Larussios. The characters are also well written and easy to connect with. I liked the spunky but calm Doctor Adrianna who isn’t scared to step up and put Salvatore in his place. True, most of us don’t come in contact with mafia bosses in our regular day to day world but it sure is fun to read about a family like the Larussios! Oh and what will happen between Salvatore and Adrianna when the truth comes out about her family.

This series is amazing! This is book three and although it can be read as a stand-alone, I suggest reading them all. Not only will you get a better understanding of the back story but they are so good.
This book centres on Lorenzo and Isabella. She is a head strong, driven journalist who through her stories hopes to bring down the family. Yet she is a reporter with integrity, only wanting to reveal the truth. With some personal issues behind what she does, she walks courageously into dangerous situations.
Lorenzo, being the consigliere, is always watching to protect the family. Getting rid of this nosy reporter is top on his list. She already knows too much and is smart enough to uncover more. Although he knows he should bury her, he can’t fight the attraction.
This is another book filled with danger, secrets, action and passion. It will keep you on the edge of your seat. The chemistry between the two main characters is off the charts. I loved them both. This is a fantastic addition to the series that I highly recommend.

Izzy is a reporter bent on writing articles for sale about the local Mafia in Las Vegas. Lorenzo is the Consigliere for that same Mafia and wants nothing more than to stop her in her tracks. When they collide, sparks fly but can they trust each other? Opinion If Via Mari writes it, I read it. Mari is my go to author for when I am in the mood for a Mafia romance. The way she is able to convey a dangerous world but make the women feel so protected in it amazes me. This book is no different. With this book, Mari is able to show her skills in bringing together people who shouldn’t make sense. A journalist and someone who routinely breaks the law should not get along but they do. I loved this book from start to finish and look forward to more.

This is the third book in the Sicilian God’s series and it is just as good as the first two in this series. This author writes exceptional dark mafia stories that keeps me entertained and turning pages to find out what happens next. This story is full of suspense, action, danger, romance, great characters and so much more. This is Izzy and Lorenzo’s story. Izzy and Lorenzo don’t start out on the best terms even though the attraction is off the charts. This is a must read to find out where their story takes them. This author will have you so enthralled in this book that you won’t be able to put it down until you get to the end. I highly recommend this book.

I really enjoy this series. This book is no exception. I love all of the ups and downs, the different lifestyle and the danger that these bring. Lorenzo was not what I thought. I expected him to be a thin wiry guy with a pencil thin mustache. Not a muscled tattooed strong male. He is the thinker, the solver a Puzzles and a strategist. I enjoyed getting to know him better, and watch him grow as the story rolled along. I liked Izzy (or Isabelle to Lorenzo) but she was not a fav until we got closer to the end. I felt she became not herself as she became more embroiled in the Larussio particularly Lorenzo’s life. Near the end she really showed her true self which was nice to see.

Consigliere’s Revenge Is an exceptional addition to the series. I swear every book is better than the one before it. This book is full of suspense, heat and action. Izzy is a reporter and one night she’s at the casino when Lorenzo spots her. He knows exactly who she is. She may be there trying to get information for her next story but, Lorenzo knows what needs to be done and decides to show up at her house and have her write stories he approves. He keeps her on a short leash to Keep her safe but, everything doesn’t go as planned. This was a great book with great characters. Many of which were in previous books and I’m sure will be mentioned in more books. 5 suspenseful stars!

With the 3rd book in this series I still very much enjoy this Mafia world. This can still be read as a stand alone but does pick up where book 2 leaves off.
Izzy is a strong independent woman who meets her match in Lorenzo. He takes one look at her and knows he’s in trouble.
There is still a bit of a repetition in the writing that still bothers me and it was missing some of the emotion for me the other 2 books brought but it was still a quick enjoyable read.

The story follows Lorenzo, consigliere to the Larussio crime family, and Isabella, a journalist who is determined to spill the dirt of every crime family in Vegas. Lorenzo realised the Larussio family could use Isabella’s skills to their advantage, but he doesn’t expect to fall in love with her. My favourite character is Isabella and my least favourite character – it’s the same every single time, evil man – is De Rosa. I recommend this book because I’ve now read the three of Via Mari’s Sicilian Gods series, and I’ve loved all three of them. Each one is full of angst and passion, with a different take on mafia romance each time, and I can’t forget the strong, independent women featured. I can’t wait to read her next book. I know this quote isn’t romantic, but it felt important to share: “Sometimes it feels like we deal with more sharks on the legitimate side of the business than when dealing with the men who sell arms to the highest bidder in the dirtiest of alleys. Perhaps it’s because we expect differently of them, but they are just as dirty if not dirtier than the rest of us.”

Isabella is determined to expose the dirty under belly of the Mafia in Vegas, from the De Rosa’s feud to the revenge of the Larussio family, so when she gets access to to the inner sanctum of the VIP floor of Larussio’s hotel she sees things which would make a great story, upon leaving she is stopped by him, The Consigliere, he should scare her but with his dark soulless eyes and his alpha present she is attracted to this fascinated man who in one order could have her killed. But there is something there she can’t quite understand, but she has learnt not to trust these powerful men.
Lorenzo see’s her and instantly is drawn to her, once he makes her a proposition to work with them, she is his not just in work but in body too, can he get Izzy to trust him and love him back?
OMG, I love this series. This book although the third book in the Sicilian Gods Series you can read as a stand alone as each book focuses on one member of the family. This happens to be Lorenzo’s book which what a fast paced brilliant read. Lorenzo in the other books has always been a fleeting character and it was nice to read his “Forever Love” story. The character of Izzy was a brilliant equal to his character with fight and sass and it seems all your woman have the strength running through which makes them brilliant alpha ladies to these violent alpha males.
The only regret I have is not getting more of the Izzy’s relationship with “Families” in Italy as there is certainly a back story there which would be fascinating to read, also to understand the secret her father is keeping as that really peaked my interest but that may be in a different story relating to other characters we will see.
The story was well written and the two characters where just the right air of illusion to each other and to see the trust and chemistry build was brilliant to discovery.
Please, Please make Sergio your next story, he needs calming down with the love of a good woman, LOL.

I just love these dark mafia romances by this author. In this particular book, we get insight into the Lurussio’s family’s consigliere, Lorenzo. He is a dark, private, intense man, but on the inside, he is more caring then he lets on, but only for Isabella. Isabella is a reporter that is trying to secretly get the scoop on the mafia families of Vegas. However, Lorenzo, as consigliere, he knows all and calls her out when caught in one of their private clubs. The chemistry between the two is instant. In addition, they are both familiar with circumstances because Isabella’s father use to work for the family. Because of the attraction and her father, the Lurussio family offers her a deal to be their reporter and write the stories they want to be published. Isabella takes the job because, well does she really have a choice? It definitely starts as a love-hate relationship that quickly advances to love-love. However, being someone who is trying to spill the family’s secrets, will need to try really hard to gain her trust, but she needs it from him too, the lady’s man. Can the two of them find common ground to do what is best for all families involved? Can they learn to trust each other, even when love is clearly present? As all the other books in this series, it was a great, quick, sexy read. The author has a great way of just getting to the point – I am not a slow-burn lover and this author never keeps you waiting. Both characters were quite loveable and you can see the growth of love they both portray for each other. I also love that you can see the trust unfold through the story on both sides – it just makes the love story seem more believable. I am not sure if this is the end of the series it seemed like yes, but I know there are more characters that can become important pieces for the family so I hope to continue to read more on the Lurussio family.

The story is just as intense and captivating as the others and I loved reading about the characters. Their chemistry was undeniable and I was pulled into their connection instantly. I knew once I started this book I wouldn’t be able to put it down because I had to see how the story would develop. This author creates fantastic stories and this one is no exception. I absolutely love this series and this AMAZING author so damn much!! I basically only have to see her name on a book now and I know I have to read it! This 3rd book of the series brings us Izzy and Lorenzo who are fantastic characters with sizzling hot chemistry. Add to that the fantastic storyline and you will be completely hooked on this book from start to finish. If you haven’t read the first two books of the series, that’s ok you can read this book and still enjoy it but I really recommend reading the entire series from the very start to enjoy it even more and because its all just so damn good!

So, I highly recommend reading the first two books before starting on this one, as knowing what has happened previously will definitely enhance your reading experience of this third instalment, as well as the series, as a whole. 5 stars I love, love, love Via’s work. Via is known for writing steamy dark mafia romances and I have love each and every one of them. I jumped to grab a copy when I saw this new book was out. Consigliere’s Revenge is the third gripping book in the Sicilian Gods series. Make sure you read them in order or you will be missing out on all this dark and delectable goodness. Via does dark and dangerous so well that you are sad when the final page draws near. In the dark of the crime world these ruthless, dangerous and powerful men do not play around when their backs are up you can be sure that there will be retribution, retaliation and sweat, sweat revenge. This is an author that I have read every book by her and loved each one. One of the things I enjoy most about this author is her ability to pull me into the story with ease. Her books are well written and hard to put down. This book is no different. It is the third book in this series. It can be read as a standalone but I highly suggest reading the previous books in this series to help your enjoyment of this author. The characters are strong, steamy and supportive of each other. They pull you into their world and keep you coming back for more. They have great growth and their chemistry is off the charts. This is a fast paced story that has a little bit of suspense added to the romance. I really enjoyed this story and found it easy to read. I highly recommend this book and this author. A must read!

Loved this story. You do have to ready the first book in the series to fully understand and enjoy this story. Once I picked it up I couldn’t put it down. The author did a great job with both character building and moving the plot along. Highly recommend

This author is an amazing writer. The mafia books do not disappoint. They are mesmerizing, action-packed. A good romance develops between a Mafia leader and a doctor. The story of the Mafia fighting for what they want. I could not put it down. Can’t wait to read more of these books!

Book two of the series and only getting better. I was so pleased with how well balanced this book was. There was a perfect storm of steam and drama. The characters were well thought out and phenomenal. You couldn’t help but be drawn right into the book unable to step away even for a moment. I will definitely be adding this book to my read again pile!

Overall this was a very good book. The plot moved along that it did not become stale but had twist and turns so that it wasn’t easy for the reader to guess. The beginning started out just a little confusing, I think more context was needed but that was very easy to overcome! Even having not read the first one it did not take away from this book!
