Let It Be Love (A Mustang Prairie Romance Book 5) by N.D. Jackson – Review by Skylar Daniels

Let It Be Love (A Mustang Prairie Romance)Let It Be Love by N.D. Jackson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book that I have read from the author and I was not disappointed. I loved this book from the beginning to the end. I had to read the entire thing in one siting.
Eric
Falling in love with a pop starlet has its drawbacks
Lack of privacy, for one
Gossip, for another
But falling in love with Kiki Ramirez was the best thing I’ve ever done
And the stupidest
One story planted by her agent and now I look like a fool
Played by the starlet
Looking like a simp for the world to see
But none of its true and I can’t defend my woman how I want
The urge to fight for her, to defend her is too strong
Even against the Hollywood machine working hard to keep us apart
Kiki
Falling in love with a civilian wasn’t part of the plan
I didn’t believe in love
Not for me and not for my life
But a small town mayor was the man who’d torn down my walls
Snuck past my defenses
And now with our future hanging in the balance its up to me to find a way to make it all work
A crazy agent
A ravenous paparazzi
And a pregnant belly I’m powerless to hide
I want Eric and the life I see for us
But how can I invite this madness into his quiet, small town life
I’m excited to read more books from the author in the coming future.

Divorced father, Luke Pierce, takes life seriously. He’s never forgotten the dark-haired beauty he’d fallen hard for during an uncharacteristic one-night stand, but Nadia makes it perfectly clear that sweeping their past under the rug is a requirement of the job.
The only problem is Nadia’s wicked sense of humor. Getting Luke to let his guard down and see the fun side of life is becoming a pastime for Nadia. If she’s not careful, he’ll fall harder for her than he did before. And this time he might take her with him . . . no matter what her opinion on love may be.

Mr. Nice Guy (Pierce Brothers, #1)Mr. Nice Guy by Belinda Williams
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

NICE GUYS CAN PLAY DIRTY TOO . . .
This is the first book that I have read from Mrs. Belinda Williams, and I honestly really liked the book. Her way of writing is amazing, and the plot of the story had sucked me in immediately from the very first page and the last page of the book. I was not able to put the book down until I had finished the entire thing in one sitting. The characters were amazing, and I was able to see and feel everything they were.
‘Give me a week. Seven days and seven nights. I’ll show you what it’s like to be with a nice guy.’
Chelsea’s housemate Tom is tired of her complaining about her boyfriends. Arrogant, sexy, irresistible, bad boys are basically Chelsea’s M.O.
Pretty much everything that Tom is not. He’s dependable and sweet. He’s also kind of hot in a cute, unthreatening way. His offer surprises Chelsea. He’s right . . . she’s never really given a nice guy a chance before. And now she’s curious. Hell, it might even be fun.
There’s just one rule: this isn’t a friend with benefits arrangement. Except Chelsea never imagined nice guys could play so dirty
I’m excited to see what she has in store for this series.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book that I have read from this author and i was not disappointed. This book is the fourth book in the Firehouse 13 series. But don’t not let that stop you from picking it up and reading. This story is absolutely amazing, and it suck you in, so you aren’t able put it down long enough to do your daily tasks. Even if you haven’t read the rest of the series yet, this book can be read as a standalone but i recommend reading the other books also, so you’ll understand everything a little better. This book brought out a lot of different feelings inside of me including loss, love, and comfort. This book does a great job of shining a light on mental health and how it can affect the relationships you hold.

Each character has their own unique qualities. Sol, a retired firefighter, holds onto his injury and lets it affect every part of his life. Where Ember, a rookie firefighter, takes life by the horns and works hard in her career. The two of them together create sparks that could very easily start a fire.

This is the second book in the Donovan Trait series by Seelie Kay and is just as intriguing as the first book. This book is a fun paranormal romantic suspense, with vampires, lawyers, vampire politics and law, agendas, uncovering the truth, and more. And as with the first book, Ye Gods! has an original take on vampire lore.

This is the first book that i have read from the author and I loved every minute of it. I was not able tp put the book down, i had to finish it all in one sitting. First, We Kill All the Lawyers is the first book in the Donovan Trait series by Seelie Kay and it really was an amazing read. This is a paranormal romantic suspense, a great murder mystery with vampires, lawyers, crime and investigation, a serial killer, hidden agendas, revenge, shifters, politics, and all woven with a very original take on vampire lore.
Donovan Trait is a highly respected lawyer- a superstar in courtroom circles, but there is more to him than meets the eye. For one, he’s a vampire who’s over 300 years old. The bodies are piling up, with no idea who could be targeted next. Donovan will need to do something to draw out the killer, especially if he is to protect those he cares about. What ensues makes for a gripping and suspenseful read. Add in the intriguing vampire lore details, the other paranormal elements, and a sweet romance I was hooked.
The ending leaves an opening for more. I can’t wait to see what the author has instore for this series.

Elsa Fitzgerald was raised in New York City’s high society, she has landed herself one of the Titans, and things couldn’t be better. Elsa is one of the most successful real estate agents in the entire city, and has the devotion of one of Hollywood’s leading men. All that’s missing is the two things she desires above all else.
Their love story is one for the ages, or so she thought. Just when it seems as if everything she’s ever wanted is within reach, tragedy strikes and threatens to tear it all away. As their fairytale starts to unravel, choices have to be made. There are consequences when chasing perfection. Will they be able to live imperfectly ever after? Or will their choices destroy those dreams forever?
I’m excited to see how she continues this series with the next book.
