Touched is the first book in the Elemental Passions series and I could not believe the amount of effort that went into this book. TEN different amazing authors came together for this masterpiece, creating an amazingly unique world as one. You can’t even tell which author wrote which segment, considering how seamlessly they wound it all together. Touched is an incredibly written fantasy romance adventure with some extra spice. I adored Aeris from page one, and ate up every single page that followed. I do highly recommend this book, and CANNOT wait to snag book two!

Touched is Book 1 in the Elemental Passions series and I am just amazed that 10 authors completed this story together. It is just one story, having it all come together by multiple talented authors truly amazed me. The story was fantastic weaving a blend of Fae, magic, forbidden love, secrets, suspense, fantasy and romance. I cannot wait to see where this series takes me….I am totally intrigued.
What can possibly happen when you see through a Fae’s glamour? Detective Callum LeBlanc finds out on the streets of New Orleans…mesmerized by a beauty that he cannot stop thinking about. Aeris loves visiting among humans…but uses glamour so she is not noticed as a shield to protect herself and her Fae family. When Callum sees though her glamour…something is amiss. Humans are not supposed to see Fae when they have their glamour hiding them. The sparks ignite between them..there is something between them that is undeniable. Aeris knows the attraction between her and Callum is forbidden including even talking or being among humans….

I don’t usually read the fantasy genre, but I’m glad I chose to read this book! The book is long, but it’s so entertaining, it had me reading as quickly as possible to see what happened next. I love Aeris. She is glamorous, yet independent and capable. I could relate to her character – wanting independence, but still caring very much what her family thinks of her. Callum is a brave gentleman and wonderful leader. He does well to balance Aeris’s characteristics. I was amused by his learning fae culture, as I was learning while reading this book, as well. Aeris and Callum together bring passion to this fae-human romance. I feel the authors did a great job building the relationship between the two characters, from the first time they met, throughout the ending of this book. It is book one in a series that is not yet finished. I’m excited to read book #2!

A fated meeting between a far and human changes their lives forever. An accidental run-in between the two leaves an impression that neither can shake. There’s instant attraction, undeniable chemistry, and yet…this can’t be – not only because humans aren’t supposed to be able to see through fae glamor, but the union itself is forbidden. Beyond being your typical paranormal romance, this book – the first in what promises to be an intriguing series – has elements of adventure, mystery, and action. I’m floored that this book was written by so many people! The writing is great and united, you’d never be able to tell that more than one person wrote it. I can’t wait to see what’s next!

I was intrigued when I heard about this book. Aeris is fae and she’s a rule breaker because she’s so curious about everything. She is especially curious about humans. Aeris enjoys reading human romance novels. She has been told not to venture into the human world but she feels safe because they can’t see her. That all changes when she literally bumps into detective Callum and he’s able to see her. Calum doesn’t have any knowledge of the mythical world he lives in. Later in the story Callum finds out that he’s sylph, which is how he’s able to see Aeris. There is chemistry right away between these two. This book is full of fae, trolls, sylph, Werewolves, romance, drama, danger, suspense, fantasy, and great characters. I don’t want to say anything more to give anything away, I will just say that this is a must read. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. I know that each book will give me more information about the past between all of them. I highly recommend this book.

Touched: Elemental Passions is a fantasy story about a fairy named Aeris. Aeris is adventurous and loves pushing boundaries to be in the human world. While she knows it is not always safe, she is fascinated by the human world. One day, while she snuck out, a human ends up being able to see through her glamour. This human is a detective named Callum. Callum and Aeris are immediately drawn to each other but don’t understand how or why. Callum is on a big case and things are getting weird, and not just because he can’t stop thinking about Aeris and what she is. The two of them realize that they are destined to be together and try to figure out what all this means. However, simultaneously, the two worlds are in danger and there is a batter brewing. The only people thought to be able to stop this is Aeris and Callum, but how? Will they be able to fight together, figure out what is going on, and also be allowed to be together? This was a good book. I thought both characters were interesting. The storyline itself was fast-moving. I enjoyed how the fantasy world and the human world collided together. This is only the first book in the series, so I am sure I will go on to read the others to find out what will happen with this couple and their story.

With so many authors working on this story, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was impressed with how well it was put together. There was a lot going on in this book, and I did feel that some of it could have been stretched out into other books to help with the pacing, but you can still follow it pretty well. I loved the Aeris character, how she’s curious and isn’t afraid to break the rules to satisfy her thirst for adventure. This story has a little of everything – drama, danger, tons of paranormal/fantasy beings, a prophecy, forbidden romance, and more! Great read!

Touched: Elemental Passions Book One by Skye Turner, Sloane Nicole, April D. Berry, C.J. Pinard, Danielle Jamie, Darlene Tallman, Julie Morgan, Livell James, Machelle Hanleigh, and Melissa MacKinnon. This is the first book 8in the Elemental Passions Series. Its the story of Aeris a fae who is very intrigued by everything but especially humans outside of Laric. Her brother Cyrus has warned her against this but she still sneaks out and watches them without them knowing or so she thinks. There is one human who can actually see her and asks her if she is ok. Callum Is a police detective and he is concerned for Aeris and asks her if he can help her. Aeris does this only think she knows, she flees! While Callum is on a case he accidentally hits Aeris with his vehicle. No one can see her except for Callum. Aeris heals herself and Callum convinces her to go for a ride with him because he is drawn to her. In the middle of them seeing each other a storm comes up and Aeris is ripped from Callum and she knows she’s in trouble because her father is the one bringing her back home. Callum is part Sylph and didn’t really know what that meant until he met Aeris. Will they be able to makes their very different worlds co exist? With so many authors I was a little concerned this story wouldn’t flow well but it was sooo good!

It was definitely odd to me that 10 authors wrote one book. I have never heard anything like it before. I wasn’t sure how it would work. I was pleasantly surprised that it not only worked, but was a great read. It was cohesive as if only one person wrote it. I don’t want that to scare anyone away. As far as the story, I really enjoyed it. I am a huge fan off all things mythical and paranormal. This book was right up my alley. There was so much in this book – suspense, action, adventure, etc. It was never too much and flowed really nicely. It did have a little bit of a slow start for me, but the rest of the book more than made up for it. There are the supernatural creatures I’ve heard about plenty of times ( and LOVE) and then new ones I have never heard of. I loved learning about them. This is the first book in the series and I am glad. I can’t wait to read more.

I was a little hesitant on reading this book because i was afraid of it being a chaotic mess with so many “cooks in the kitchen”, BUT, It was really good! You absolutely cannot tell where one author’s part ends and another begins. They managed to make this very seamless and I am impressed. I enjoyed the main characters in this one and the amount of spice was just right for the mood I was in! There was mystery, supense and Paranormal/fantasy element that all made up this romance and it was a very nice book! I am very much looking forward to reading anything else this group of authors puts out!

To start off if you can’t tell by the title of my review this story was written by 10 different authors which is WILD to me, it’s not multiple little stories in one volume, no this is 10 writers coming together to create one epic fantasy.
I was hesitant about the fact that there were so many hands in the compilation of this book but it was done well and flows seamlessly. To be honest I quite enjoyed this more than I have any other book recently. It’s filled with fantasy, action, a little romance, hard decisions, witty banter, a little angst, it takes place (partially) in New Orleans which is not only my favorite city, but the perfect setting for all things strange and unusual.
The female main character Aeris, I absolutely adored, I love her fiery personality, her inquisitive nature and her penchant for trouble. Honestly, she was refreshing as a strong, female main character, making the hard choices and following her heart.
I also enjoyed our male main character, he’s a good man and I think the perfect match for Aeris in all ways. I think he’s confused and angry and lost at first and that makes his full character arc much better, to see him grow with the story, rather than staying who he is.
I’m not sure how many books will be in this series but I can definitely say I am here for all of them! There is a much world and lore become realty and some really interesting characters that I would love to see get their moments.

Touched is the first book in the Elemental Passions series. The long list of authors caught my eye – initially I thought it would be a collection of short stories and when I realised it was a single story written by so many people I was intrigued to see how it turned out. I was impressed – the story felt consistent and considered throughout.
The story switches between the perspectives of its two protagonists – Callum and Aeris. Aeris is a Fae who enjoys visiting and observing humans. Callum is a New Orleans police detective who is suddenly thrust into the world of Fae and other magical beings when he sees Aeris through the glamour that’s supposed to keep her hidden.
This is an exciting fantasy book, with a great cast of characters! My favourite is Trevor the troll, who proves a helpful and knowledgeable ally. I’m looking forward to seeing more of these characters in the next book!
Touched gets five stars from me! I’d recommend it to fans of urban fantasy and paranormal romance looking for a new obsession. I can’t wait to read more from these authors!

This is a great romance story written by ten great authors. Some are new to me and some are favorites. This is an engaging story that is hard to put down. A story where it takes fae and human, forbidden love and one where fate will step in and take over. I enjoyed the characters and how creative they are. Their journey had me wanting to know what would happen next. They are connectable, relatable and brought the story to life. I enjoyed watching their growth throughout which made the story easy to read. This is a fast paced story that has so much entertaining value. This is one you don’t want to miss. Wonderful paranormal fae romance that is set in New Orleans. The book is written by a collection of 10 authors: Skye Turner, Sloane Nicole, April D. Berry, C.J. Pinard, Danielle Jamie, Darlene Tallman, Julie Moran, Livell James, Machelle, Hanleigh, Melissa McKinnon.
The book started a little slow but picked up about a third of the way through. The romance is insta-love/insta-lust with mystery, tension, and of course insane chemistry. I thoroughly enjoyed their love story, especially that it is a forbidden love. Aeris, who is fae, is very interested in humans outside of her home, Laric. But she is given several warnings from her older brother about them. Her curiosity wins out, and she decides to use glamour to watch humans. The twist is… Callum, a police detective, (human…..or is he?) can see her.
Aeris doesn’t understand how Callum could see her, but after some research, she realizes glamour does not work on other mythological creatures. Since Callum, must have mythological blood, she reveals to him that she is fae. But what type of creature is Callum?
There are lots of twists and turns that are executed perfectly. I was worried that the book would not flow properly considering how many authors are involved, but the story is seamless. There is steam, but it is toned down and is more plot than steam. The book was excellent and intricately woven. This is the first book of a five-part series, and I will definitely be reading all five.

Such a unique story ! I’ve never seen Fae portrayed quite this way & I’m not mad at it . The creativity & collaboration that went into this book are phenomenally impressive ! Fantastic depth to the characters & I always appreciate so much insight into their minds . There were times when things felt a bit redundant , & some odd spots in conversations , especially the spicier ones . The rest of the book proves the capability & talent the authors carry , though . A strong storyline & excitement threaded throughout keeps things interesting ! Truly , a great book !

I have never read a book written by so many others, and I was NOT disappointed at all. While its also not my favorite genre, I was able to read this in two sittings and truly loved the book. Entering the world that all these authors created took me on a journey that I hope to continue in all the books in the series. Touched is the first book in the Elemental Passions series by authors Skye Turner, Sloane Nicole, April D. Berry, C.J. Pinard, Danielle Jamie, Darlene Tallman, Julie Morgan, Livell James, Machelle Hanleigh, and Melissa MacKinnon. Callum, a human, and Aeris, a fae are the main characters in this book. Callum is taken by her beauty; taken by the fact she is UNLIKE anyone he has ever encountered. But Fae and human relationships are NOT welcomed and prohibited. Callum and Aeris will take you on a ride of magic, forbidden love, and supernatural world that will draw you in! I highly recommend this book and want MORE!!!

Praise for Touched, I absolutely adored this book. The relationship between Aeris and Callum was done absolutely perfectly! It didn’t feel rushed or unauthentic and this book had so many twists that I didn’t expect! I really hope there is a book 2 because I need to l know where else their relationship leads! I also loved how the authors blended the human world with the Fae’s world Laric. It felt like it was just outside their reach so close but so far. It added a lot of suspense that helped the story feel that much more intense! I can’t wait to read more books by this amazing team!

Ten author’s in this one so I had to check it out and I wasn’t disappointed This book is a little slow to start but it’s to allow you to.understand the characters Aeris is an inquisitive fae and she’s very curious about humans and the lives they live. She sneaks regularly into the human world with a glamor so no one can see her, that is until she literally runs into Callum who terrifies Aeris as he can see her! Callum is your standard detective and is blown away by the beauty of Aeris when he sees her the first time. She runs away and he searches to no avail. He finally goes into a meeting to learn about a bust location and while driving he drops his phone only to hit a pedestrian. When he comes around the corner of his car there she is! The chemistry in between them is electric and can’t be denied. Aeris comes back and decides to tell Callum that she’s fae but a bad storm comes and pulls Aeris home a surefire skill of her father If Callum can see her he must not only be human, but if he’s not human what is he and what does it mean. How does he fit into this world of fae and why id Aeris so inexplicably drawn to Callum. And what of the fae? She’s broken ancient laws and rules will she suffer consequences never to see callum again? What they dont realize their meeting has set off a series of events that has waited for generations to come to fruituin Ancient prophecy, Romance , politics, fighting for love, so much to unpack in this story and it was very well done

Touched is the first book in the Elemental Passions series, this book took me a little bit of time to get into but after the first couple of chapters I couldn’t put it down. The story follows Aeris, who is an air fae with a thirst for knowledge, when she accidentally bumps into police detective Callum while exploring the city of New Orleans, which is a shock to Aeris as she should be invisible to humans. However, there is more to Callum than either of them know. The pair are not aware that the instant spark between them start a prophecy that has implications for both the human and fae worlds. This book had a good mix of mystery, action and romance. Would recommend for fans of paranormal romance.

This book was ok for me. There was a lot going on and I felt a lot was introduced. I understand that in the first installment of a series there is a set up but I felt that some of it got lost in the plot. I enjoyed the characters and hope that the next book has a smoother flow for me. There were some interesting perspectives and ideas.

The book is book one of a new series. A few authors are writing together. I honestly saw the author and had to read it not realizing what it was about. I’m not a fan of paranormal books so it took me quite a while to finish. That being said, I thought the book was well written. Callum is a detective on his way to make a huge bust. When someone walks into him. That someone is Aeris. She’s a fairy or a fae which visits earth. Up until now, no one has been able to see her but, Callum can. However, they zinged…He is her Kindred…her mate. Together they encounter all different things. This book has sylph, fae, trolls, rougarou…you name it. Anything magical or mythical with spells. I thought the book was pretty good.

This is the first time I’ve read a book that has been written by more than two authors. This was written by 10! And they worked so well together! I love books about Fae so I knew this was going to be a good book. It kept me turning page after page until the end. I love Aeris. Her free spirited attitude is refreshing, even if she is a bit naive. She is supposed to avoid humans, but she is fascinated by them. She’s always sneaking off to view them. But she’s always hidden. Humans can’t see her, until one does! And he’s so cute! He gives her feelings in her stomach like the girls that she reads about get. But humans and fae can’t mix. It’s forbidden! Will she choose her land and her people, or the man that makes her feel? This is the first book in a series and I absolutely can not wait until the next book comes out. It’s going to the top of my TBR pile!

I really enjoyed this book. I love that there are multiple authors that came together to create a unique story line and book. It is really well put together and you really can’t tell which author wrote what part. I feel like that makes the writing of this book top notch. It is seamlessly done and the steam that is poured into the pages, really made the book feel like it came from one author. I can’t imagine the amount of time and communication it took in order for the book to flow like it does. AMAZING!!! Let’s talk about the steam, it isn’t in your face like it can be in some books but it is there to really help the story line. The storyline would continue without it and be completely fine but it just adds the right amount of spice to make you blush but not sweat. I really enjoyed it. The characters are really well thought out and have amazing growth throughout the book. The fact that this book has spice, magic, mystery, supernatural entities, and romance; means it really hits a lot of marks for people to pick it up. I highly suggest reading this book for an escape and to just thoroughly enjoy reading. Reviewed by: @bbohls View all my reviews

This book is an impressive collaboration of ten talented authors telling one single story that is full of mystery, romance, and the supernatural. I think the cover art is appealing and a bit sensual which should entice fantasy fiction lovers to pick it up.
This book is book one of five, so I look forward to reading the remaining books in this series. The story introduces you to a hardworking and talented detective named Callum LeBlanc. Also, you are introduced to Aeris who is an inquisitive fae who enjoys observing the humans that she finds beyond her realm of Laric. Her older brother, Cyrus has warned her about venturing into the human world, but something seems to be pulling her to continue her little voyeuristic adventure, so she ignores the advice of her brother.
When Callum notices Aeris, he is intrigued and somehow he manages to see through the glamor she uses in the human world. Aeris does not understand how that is possible, as she should be completely hidden. She runs away, returning to her realm and immediately begins researching glamor. She soon learns that glamor does not work on other mythical creatures, including mortals with mythical blood. So against all advice previously given to her, she returns to the human world, looking for the detective. Upon speaking with Callum, she bravely discloses that she is Fae. He mentions that per his ancestors, he has Sylph blood but never knew what that meant.
Aeris fully understands that Fae-Human unions are forbidden but their intense connection is making this connection hard to ignore.
This unique collaboration brings a skillfully created tale of forbidden love and destiny to the readers while also building a fantastical world engulfed in beautiful elemental morsels of a fantasy vision.
If you enjoy fantasy fiction with romance, passion, suspense and forbidden love, you will be drawn in from the very first page of this story and enjoy the first installment in this adventure based world. I think you will relish exploring Callum and Aeris’ escapade.

When I read the summary of this novel, I expected something different. The characters were good. I believe they were well thought out and flowed well together.
I do, however, feel like the world building could have been better for a fantasy novel. There were many times I could not picture where the characters were or what they were doing.
I was also taken aback by all of the cursing. I understand that here in the United States, many people’s language consists primarily of foul language, but there are so many other adjectives that could have been utilized in my opinion.
Overall, I was left wanting more out of this book. Perhaps I am being too harsh after just reading a different fantasy novel, but this just was not what I was hoping for. And hopefully more details come in the second book in the series! It was a relatively short novel and I feel that a little bit more detail could have gone a long way.

Touched is the first book in this series and I cannot wait for book two! This is the story of Aeris – a naughty fae who leaves the safety of her home in Laric and explores earth and the human world. She finds her kindred Callum by accident when he can “see” her when no human should be able to. Callum turns out to be sylth and as a part of the story discovers his magical powers and helps to save Laric. The war has only just started so let’s see what book two holds?

This was an amazing book! Callus LeBlanc is an amazing detective who meets Aeris. Aeris is a Fae from the mystical realm of Laric. Faes and humans are not supposed to interact with each other which is why Fae’s tend to cloak themselves. Little does anyone realize that these two are meant to be together. Can they weather the storm that lies ahead and be able to be together? Follow along with me as we journey into the magical realm of Laric and watch as Callum and Aeris’ journey has just begun. There is so much going on in this story but I really can’t wait until book 2 comes out.
