Firstly, it’s unique. I have never read anything like this before. It takes our human world and then the fantasy world and shows how it all “could” coexist, in a sense. It was spectacular! The character development for me was incredible! The love story, also so great! I am so glad I took the chance on this book, knowing it’s the start of a series and I can’t continue on. I usually wait to start series once they are almost all released because I have zero patience! Hope they make this into a movie even one day. Would love to see it brought to life. Highly recommend!!!!!

This is such a fantastic start to the series and I cannot wait for the next book to come out. When Aeris literally collides with Callum and he can see her, that sets off a series of events that neither of them is ready for. This is such a fast-paced novel that keeps you on the edge of your seat and up way past your bed time. The plot lines and character developments are *chef’s kiss* and when you realize that 10…yes 10 authors are writing this series it’s mind-blowing. This book has it all…paranormal, otherworldly, intrigue. New Orleans voodoo, magic, mystery, action, romance, passion, just to name a few. I couldn’t put this down and you won’t be able to either. Touched : Elemental Passions Book one is written by multiple authors. Wow totally not what I expected when I dove in head first. But holy cow this was much better than I expected. Its loaded with mystery,drama and suspense plus lots of romance. It’s unlike any other Fantasy/ Fairy / Romance I’ve ever read. Get ready to be taken away on this adventure with Aeris who is a rule breaker as she travels to the human world of New Orleans . Be prepared to devour this in one sitting because once you start reading there’s no stopping until you finished. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next.

Ok, so you meet a beautiful female and some things happen you just don’t understand…. The detective in you wants answers and wants her to give them. But the answers…. *MIND BLOWN*
Touched is a romantasy that I can fully get behind! There’s mystery, drama, and best of all ROMANCE!!! I have only read a few books with Fae and other mythical creatures, but out of all of them, this was my fave so far. I love how all of the authors build the scene and each MC story, if I hadn’t known there were multiple authors I would have never suspected it while reading the story. The flow of it is so smooth you would think there was only 1 brilliant mind not 10. Can’t wait until the next book in the series comes out.

So, it was definitely an interesting read. To me, it felt more YA, which isn’t a bad thing. I did think the FMC was a little naive, which is a nuanced peeve for me as a reader. I really liked the MMC, and thought he was absolutely hilarious. I understand the book is fated mates; but it felt a little too quick for me. But, that might also be because I’ve been reading a lot of slow-burn.
It’s a light hearted, fantasy romance that was well done. I did enjoy the book, and will most likely pick up book two when I get time. Happy reading!

Reading about Callum and Aeris story was captivating. I was first drawn into the story because I love any story that is set in New Orleans. These authors have done such a good job creating a world in the city that is popular but at the same time unique. Callum is a detective for the city. He’s working a job when he comes across Aeris. He sees this beautiful woman, but a quick look again, everything changes about her. She looks different. Otherworldly. He finds out that she’s not from this realm. She’s from Laric. They both start to develop feelings for each other that are forbidden in her world. But Destiny steps in. Or does it? The story arc was well written, and the storyline was well paced. I loved reading their story and I hope there is more to come!

Aeris has always been fascinated by humans. Being Fae meant always being hidden. She spends most of her days in the human world, observing their everyday lives. Keeping her glamour up meant she could walk along the humans without being seen. That is until Callum enters. For some odd reason a very handsome man by the name of Callum was able to see her. Thinking it was a one time thing, Aeris fled.
After that encounter, Aeris couldn’t get the stranger out of her mind. She decided to forget about him and move on. Fate had a different idea when Callum hit her with his car.
At the scene of the accident, Callum was freaking out. He had just hit the woman he has been wondering about since they met. Once he realized no one else was reacting to the accident, he saw that no one could even see this beautiful stranger. Not only that but her wounds are healed?
After that, they could not just forget and move on. Callum wanted to know everything about Aeris and Aeris was willing to risk it all for a human.
Aeris has no idea what has come over her. She will stop at nothing to see Callum again, even if it means betraying her family and home. Her family seem to have something against this particular human in general and Aeris is determined to find out why. Could they be kindred mates?
This book is the first book in the Elemental Passions series written by various authors. It was full of romance and was steamy with enough mystery to keep it intriguing as well. I really enjoyed Aeris as a character. She was headstrong, sassy, confident and passionate. I am rooting for love to conquer all that is thrown towards this unlikely couple.

This book was right up my alley! It was so good. I also thought it was cool that 10 authors contributed to this book. This is the first book of the series. Aeries is a fairy that likes to watch humans. Callum, is a police detective, who can see her. She remembers that humans can only see her if they are not 100% human. I didn’t realize at the time of starting this novel that many authors came together to write this alluring, steamy, romance novel, and they all did a fantastic job. A love at first sight trope, fae, fantasy, and romance this novel had it all. It was a light, fun read that I’m glad to have read.

I must say that I was curious about this book,, because at first I thought it was an anthology- but it isn’t- it is one story told/written by 10 different authors. Well, I have never heard of that being done before- so of course I had to grab a copy and see how the story turned out. The ten authors who contributed to this book are: -Skye Turner -Sloane Nicole -April D. Berry -C.J. Pinard -Danielle Jamie -Darlene Tallman -Julie Moran -Livell James -Machelle Hanleigh -Melissa McKinnon They have produced an intriguing paranormal romance with action, fantasy, adventure, magic, Fairies (Fae), sylphs, werewolves, drama, danger, agendas, fated loved/fated mates, forbidden romance, chemistry, steam, tension, mystery, elemental forces, prophecy, war, insta-love/insta-lust, and emotion. With there being ten different authors lending their talents to this one story, it would be understandable if you were somewhat skeptical about the end result being cohesive. But I am here to assure you that this book reads as if there had only been one author- so colour me impressed. Sneaking through the wards into the human realm isn’t anything new for Aeris, she’s been breaking the rules since she could remember- so what is different this time? Well, a tall dark stranger who knocks her off her feet and locks eyes with her is what…. Aeris and Callum are from two different worlds, a fairy and a human. But is he, human, that is. Touched is the first book in the Elemental Passions series. The book features Aeris, an inquisitive fae interested in humans outside of Laric. Despite warnings from her older brother, Cyrus, she uses glamour and sneaks out to watch humans without interacting with them. However, she learns that Callum, a police detective, can see her. Aeris bumps into Callum on the street. Seeing how distressed Aeris is, Callum tries to offer her help. Aeris flees and disappears from his sight.
Inside a dark bar, Callum meets with his informant about a drug drop location that the notorious Trahan brothers were planning for Friday at midnight. It is evident that Tony is afraid of being caught giving Callum information. When Callum is driving toward his precinct, he drops his phone long enough to distract him. He strikes a pedestrian and runs to the front of his truck to see Aeris lying in a pool of blood. Nobody can see her except Callum. While he is distracted by another person, Aeris heals herself. Callum convinces her to take her for a ride because he wants to know her better.
Aeris hides her interaction with a human from Cyrus. She researches glamour and finds it doesn’t work on mythical creatures. If a mortal has mythical blood, they can also see past glamour. She meets Callum again and reveals she is a Fae. Callum recalls his grandmother telling him he had Sylph blood but didn’t know what that meant. Noticing a storm forming rapidly, Callum tries to take Aeris to his truck but a strong wind snatches her away. Aeris knows she is in serious trouble since her father used a storm to bring her back to Laric.
There is a lot of suspense in Touched. Fae are not supposed to be around humans. Callum didn’t believe in fairy tales until Aeris entered his life. Something between them draws both of them together and it is obvious that the traditional alpha male persona that Callum has will be challenged by the strong-willed Aeris. What is a Sylph? What does it mean to be human and Sylph? Can Aeris convince her family and fellow Fae to accept Callum? Does Aeris have to leave Laric forever if she wants to be with Callum. All of these intriguing questions are answered in an unpredictable story of forbidden romance.

On the magical streets of New Orleans who knew there could be a whole underworld of magical Fae. Aeris is a young curious fae who can’t help but cross the world from Laric to the human in search of adventure. Aeris’ older brother Cyrus warns him to be extra careful because he has a bad feeling. Come to find out that bad feeling lands Aeris to finding her Kinder or her sole mate. Callum has no clue what is going on but he just laid eyes on the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. The problem for Aeris is that humans can´t see Fae unless that human has magical blood themself. I have read Fae books before but this particular book was one of a kind. The author’s development of the story, characters, and plot was beyond amazing. I can’t wait to see what else this author comes out with.

This is book one of the Elemental Series. This is not my normal genre since I don’t get into supernatural and fantasy but I figured I’d give it a try. While Aeris and Callum were good characters that have the great tension plus bad girl, good guy scenario…I just couldnt get into it. It was too far fetched. I did love how these two learned each other, compromised and listened to each other in every way possible. Hopefully you have better luck!

This tale will not only capture your heart but will leave you wanting more. Detective Callum LeBlanc thought he had done it all, seen it all but boy was he wrong. It was always in front of him but now that his eye were open there was no going back. Not that he wanted to go back. Aeris knew it was forbidden but he was her one. I have read many anthologies and books written by dual authors but this is the first specific book that I have read with multiple authors attached. I loved the way the book was written and the story was developed. This is fantastic fantasy story with so many moving parts which made it so easy to connect with. The characters that have been created with this book are so interesting. They caught my attention immediately and I was pulled into their story effortlessly. The book is so fast paced and exciting, I was carried along with ease. This is a brilliant story and I am really looking forward to book 2.

If you love mythical romances, this is the book for you. This story follows Aeris, a fae rule breaker, who often sneaks into the human world to explore, and Callum, a detective in New Orleans, who finds out the truth about his bloodline. These two fall in love and have to battle to save their worlds. It is a great read and very well written, in my opinion. It has great character building, but world building could be improved on.

Oh my what more can I say? I have found yet another author and series I just want to get lost in. I really love mythical fantasy type books and this really just hit the spot. I love how the real world and mythical are combined to bring an electric atmosphere and just made me want to escape. I love how there is just the right amount of romance mixed into drama and adventure. I love how there is a sense of mystery and I cannot wait to see how the whole series will pan out. I just couldn’t put this book down and I plan on reading it again and again.

Touched a light and sexy read. It is love at first sight from the first moment Callum sees Aeris. The issue is their love is forbidden by the Fae. Will their love be able to conquer all? The world development and story felt/ read like a YA book, but the sexy scenes are very much adult. This was due to Aeris reading human romance books and never having a partner prior. She wants to gain her independence from her parents and finds her love in the most unlikely of places. It has the trope of forbidden love. Callum was living a normal human life until he got dragged into the world of magic that is all around him. Tt was fun to experience this from his point of view. The sexy scenes and chemistry between the main characters is fantastic! The ending leads into an epic tale that cannot be missed. Overall, I found the characters and story enjoyable and fun to read. I will be on the lookout for the next book in the series.

I couldn’t put this one down! It gripped me straight away. I love this sort of story and this did not disappoint! This follows Callum and Aeris as they discover their two worlds are about to collide. Aeris is a fae and Callum is human… or so he thinks but his world is turned upside down when he meets Aeris. It’s a story of self discovery, first love, friendship, war and more. This is so well written I just couldn’t put it down, I thoroughly enjoyed this and I’m so looking forward to the next installment!
I really enjoyed this story. There was a really nice flow to the story. I was amazed to see that there were 10 authors. As a paranormal lover, it’s always a treat to find a romance with lots of goodies in the story. It is set in New Orleans, after all. Nobody thought it too odd that Callum was often seen talking to himself. You can feel a little of every emotion in this story. There are lots of fairies, trolls, and even things that can eat you. Such a fun paranormal tale. It’s an intriguing tale of good coming together to fight evil to save Aeris’s home of Laric. I’m looking forward to reading more of this series as it comes out.

Wow, I want book two now. This book was a ride of emotions with so many twists and turns. The characters draw you right into the story and grip your heart. Aeris, our main female character, is a rule breaker at heart even though she really doesn’t mean to be, She finds herself in the human world often. Just usually watching people. She isn’t supposed to cross the barrier into the human world but she just can’t help herself. She uses glamor so no one can see her until one day when detective Callum is able to see her and the story continues from there.
I was so intrigued with this story. I could have kept reading for hours more. I really really need the next book.
