This was a sweet, steamy romance that will melt your heart. Baseball, animals, babies, and a true love…who can want more. These two sparked at the bachelor auction and tried to avoid it. They tried to push each other away but not happening. I enjoyed watching this relationship develop as Grace came with a lot of baggage that she had to work out. As she came to realize that she is a strong woman, the story became so much better. With Zara involved as your friend, you know it’s going to happen. Heath brings goodness to the story. Another wonderful installment to the series. A quick, entertaining read.

This book is book two of the series. Each book can be read as a standalone but honestly both books so far have been really good so I recommend both!
Zara doesn’t do relationships. She has her career and her no strings attached approach to “relationships”. Noah poses an interesting challenge though. That being, he’s been attracted to her since he found her naked on his couch. Zara, however, just needs to convince herself that she can’t stand him and doesn’t want him. Can Noah be patient enough to win her over or will he get the message Zara is trying to send?
I really enjoyed this book. I’m not surprised though because the first one was good too! This book has just the right amount of push and pull between the characters. You quickly get invested in the story and can’t wait to see how it plays out. I highly recommend!
Well I enjoyed this book. And seeing as this is Ladies of the Links 2, this is a series and book 2 in that series. Well I definitely haven’t read book 1, yet. Which tells you I’m going too. It also tells you that you don’t need to read book 1 to read this one. I don’t believe I lost anything. This story was complete from beginning to end. A second chance romance that involves children. I enjoy second chance romances. However when they involve unknown children, they are a hit or miss with me. This one hit though. Christy and Ryan were high school sweethearts, till she disappeared. Now she’s back with 5 year old twin girls in tow. I understand it’s a story but it’s not always the easiest story to relate sometimes. I do enjoy how the author approached it. Where he had Ryan step up immediately, no push back or anguish. Which was refreshing because most books like this have both. Including a denial period. That didn’t happen here. It’s all about navigating life when it’s turned upside down. How one adapts to immediate, but welcome change. Which the author portrays rather well, since it kept me turning the page. I do thoroughly enjoy sports romances which is what drew me to this book to begin with. And I’m glad I jumped at the chance to read it, it was entertaining and worth it!

There were some really fun parts and Zara is pretty amusing. I found that one of her “quirks” was mentioned too late in the storyline though and I feel that it would have been more understandable if it had been used in the beginning and throughout instead of right near the end.
I definitely plan on reading more in the series despite not being a huge sports romance fan. I like the spice.

Another good story in this series. I was super excited for these two’s story. I struggled with Zara a bit since she is so wishywashy but eventually I understood her though and reasoning. Noah is just the best guy every. Yes he has a few hangups but overall he is a forever guy. He is kind, patient and a all around nice guy that everyone likes. I loved the Auction scenes! Very humorous. We do see characters from previous books in here as well as from other series (which I have not read) a few scenes seemed the same with just different secondary characters.
Overall this is a good story. It has characters that did some growing and changing. I look forward to the next in the series.

I am absolutely loving this series by Bree Kraemer. I love baseball so this series featuring Baseball Players is a no brainer for me to read. What I wasn’t expecting is that the plot would be so well written and would suck me in from the first word. Zara is an incredibly strong, independent woman. She has a career she loves and she definitely prides herself on not getting attached. She never expected that the one person who would get under her skin would be a pro baseball player. Its important to note that Noah and Zara have history and not any kind of history but the kind of history where everyone hopes they never see each other again. But yet they do and boy do sparks fly. I love the banter between Zara and Noah. It just seemed like it was inevitable that their chemistry would win, despite any personal feelings that they may have. However, when they have to be professional with one another their chemistry is undeniable. I definitely love this series and recommend that everyone read this.
This book features a group of friends that are so well written. I picked up this book because it intrigued me but I wasn’t sure if I was going to enjoy it because I don’t know anything about golf. However, now I want to find a golf league that I can join to hopefully find friends such as this group in the story. This book definitely features the trials and tribulations of the ladies. It features a second chance romance, but the truth is the real story is the friends and everything they get into. This is everything that a group of friends should be. I definitely recommend this book and I promise you I will be reading the other books to find out more!

Really sweet story of previous high school sweethearts who were separated six-ish years prior, and run into each other unexpectedly at an event. Having not read anything by Haley Rhoades previously, I kept expecting a dramatic turn of events to occur, someone cheating or throwing a wrench in the couple rekindling their love, and was pleasantly surprised to read just an enjoyable story. The supporting characters (siblings and best friends) are fun and everything you want in a bff, and the touch of “magic”, if you will, is done tastefully and adds something special to the story. Noah has had feelings for Zara ever since her found her in his apartment in college naked waiting for his room mate, over the years it has become a cat and mouse game with her to annoy her as much as possible his own kind of foreplay, but when she accompanies him to a business deal he cant let his pent up attraction hid anymore and with the single kiss his world is spinning out of control on its axis, but when Zara shuts him down will he get a second chance.
Zara is still dreaming about the kiss but can she break her own rules and decide to give Noah a try or will it end in tears and ruin friendships.
This is the second book in the Ground Rule series and is absolutely brilliant. I am glad that these two characters are the second story as you get a hint of the frustration of these two characters in the first book but they just explode off the page in this book.
I always love a strong female character and Zara is that to a tee but it is always lovely to see the vulnerable side and the fact that she is lonely and that Noah fills that void without her really understanding or knowing that she needed it was brilliant to read. Noah’s character although is tough and strong alpha having flaws with him was lovely to read and be empathic with a male mental health is now coming to the forefront.
Although as I said this is the second book in the series this book can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading the first book and get to see the blossoming relationship of Celia and Kyle. Thank you for this story and hope to read more in the future.

I really enjoyed the first book from the Ground Rule series so I figured this one would have to be a great one as well. It did not disappoint. It can be read as a stand alone but I do recommend reading the first book so you know a bit of back story about some of characters. Noah has never forgotten Zara, not that she could be forgotten after their experience together. This is a super fun romantic sports story.
This series is nothing but amazing. I loved the first book and wasn’t sure I’d enjoy this one as much. Boy was I wrong. Zara and Noah made an appearance in the first book and they finally have their shot to tell their story. Zara is probably one of the strongest female characters I’ve been able to stand reading. I loved her from the beginning. She is the type of girl who isn’t looking for love. She wants to get what she needs and move on. She met Noah many years ago in college and thought he didn’t remember who she was. Boy was she wrong. There was a reason why he left her standing there after the fire the way he did. He wanted nothing more than to get to know her but, everyone has some baggage / stressful things they can’t bare. When Noah and Zara finally have to be in the same room without any buffers the sparks will fly. Zara tries to push Noah away at every turn but, Noah is a lot stronger and a lot more patient then she thinks. This was such a great 5+ star read. Cannot wait to read the next book.
This is the second in the Ground Rule series, a lovely addition to the series. Each book can be read as a standalone as each book focuses on a different couple. Characters from the first book do pop up so I would recommend reading the first to get a clearer picture of who everyone is.
I love a good ‘enemies to lovers’ trope so I knew I’d enjoy this book. The plot was enjoyable and flowed well, as did the author’s writing style making more an easy read. Although it isn’t exactly enemies to lovers, it was still a fun story to get lost in.
I loved the characters of Zara and Noel and am so happy with the conclusion of their story.
This is a brilliant second chance romance that has so many of the things I like in a book. I was pulled into this story really easily and found I lost the afternoon reading this book. I enjoyed the characters and their development. Their connection was obvious, even after so many years apart. I wanted to see how things would turn out for them and hoped for their happy ending. I thought the writing style of this book was easy going and a great read. It is the kind of book you can pass an afternoon reading. As the second book in the series, it could easily be read as a standalone, however I know I will be reading them all.

This is the first book in the Ground Rule series and, for me, served as a great introduction to the author.
I enjoyed the writing style the author used, that alongside the plot flowed well and make for an easy read. The characters were lovable and well-written, their chemistry almost tangible. I really enjoyed Celia and Kyle as a couple and was rooting for them throughout.
The story was sweet, and I can see why the characters made the decisions they did out of love. I was emotionally invested in Celia and Kyle’s journey and am happy with how their story ends.
This was the first book I read by the author and I’m now a fan, I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

I enjoyed reading this romance story. This is a new author for me which I enjoyed from beginning to end. I look forward to seeing what is next for this author in the future. I found this book to be well written and hard to put down. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into their world with ease and kept me coming back for more. The author’s use of details made the story realistic. I had no problems picturing myself in the story with the characters. I enjoyed watching the chemistry and growth of the characters that made the story easy to read. I highly recommend finding out what happens with this single mother and new club member. This is the sound book in the Ground Rule Series. I recommend reading the Walk Off first because there is a cross-over of characters and it will help you better understand these characters.

Noah Ashe is an MLB player and friends with one of the men that Zara works for. Noah is a private person and avoids the spotlight and tabloids as much as possible. He is intrigued by Zara because they have a history. He walked in on her naked in this apartment one day when she was waiting for someone else. From that day on he has wanted her. The confidence of this woman was like a beacon to him.

An entertaining and enjoyable sports romance with plenty of drama and romance set at Tryst Falls. Single Mum of twin girls works as the pool manager, ensuring all the activities are safe and fun for the clubs children during the summer. Christy gets a shock when Ryan Harper joins the club, and she’s forced to come face to face with the man who broke her heart. Ryan can’t believe it when he turns up to his new club and sees Christy, the only women he’s ever loved, and he still feels guilty for leaving her. However, he gets more of a surprise when he meets her twin daughters and sees his own eyes staring back at him! This is a heartwarming second chance romance which kept me happily turning the pages. Both the setting and the characters are brought to life through the descriptive narrative and the storyline flowed well. This is the second book in this series which is just as great and maybe a little better. I enjoyed this author’s books as I know I am in for a great romance story. I enjoy her writing skills and attention to detail that make her stories pop. I found this book to be well written and hard to put down. A story about two people a little reluctant to open themselves up to romance. What will happen with these two if they do? I enjoyed how they pulled me into their world of romance and their one night. This is a fast paced story that is engaging and had me wanting to know what happens between these two. I enjoyed watching their chemistry and growth throughout. Don’t miss what happens with these two characters. I highly recommend this book.
Ladies of the Links #2 is a second chance, New Adult sports romance story. I haven’t read anything by Haley before and was unsure where it was going to go with the golf references, but it did not disappoint. The story is well written and it’s easy to connect with the characters. The group of friends made me laugh with their antics. Just like my group of friends and their carrying on. It is a crazy, sweet and sexy tale with a little heartbreak and pain, hope and love, fun and laughter. Christy thought it was love but he left them. He loved her but he loved NFL more. Now he is back and hoping she will forgive him. But there is one thing he didn’t know. Ladies of the Links #2 follows friends who make no apologies for the way they live their lives. True friends that have each other’s back when the rumour blog hits the hood. A great read that will have you engaged from the beginning. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Baseball romance The second book in the Ground Rule series and we have Zara, a confident sports agent who knows what she wants and that’s no strings attached. Then there’s Noah, straight shooting and comfortable with who he is. The author has a flare for writing deep characterisation and storyline without making it wordy or confusing. I was engaged from the start and wanted their HEA. Looking forward to Book 3! Recommend.

Sacrifice Bunt is the second book in the Ground Rule Series by Bree Kraemer. This is a superb contemporary sports romance with a bit of an enemies to lovers element, chemistry, sizzle, friendship, banter, humour, emotion, drama, angst, and more. As expected from Ms. Kraemer- Zara and Noah pulled me in right from the beginning and had me fully invested in them and the outcome of their story. Bring on Book #3! Happy reading.

Walk Off is book one in the Ground Rule series. I have always been super involved in sports growing up and seeing that this was a feel good romance but also involved a sports theme, in Walk Off it was mainly centered around a baseball player, only added to my interest. Celia and Kyle are the female and male character but there are a lot of side characters too. Celia broke Kyles heart many years ago but as fate would have it they show up to the same wedding of friends where they are reunited and their love is rekindled. I thought this was a great book but there were a few moments where I thought Celia was pushing against everything to hard or things were a little immature but I also felt like those parts added to the story and helped us understand why Celia and Kyle are the way they are because of their past and trauma they are both a little emotionally stunted. Their friends were so supportive but also gave them space to come to terms with their own feelings. This all came together to make a great read that I really enjoyed. I look forward to reading the others in the series.

I have been a fan of Ms. Kraemer since her Cedarville series and was so excited to dive into this book and I wasn’t disappointed. She paints the picture in your head with using extra and unnecessary words to fill the pages.
Second chance romance is one on the tropes I enjoy a lot. Throw in sports, especially baseball and I’m hooked. I’m so glad I read this book, especially after the week i have had. Celia and Kyle are both great characters and I instantly fell in love with them and their friends.
I already have the next two books on my Kindle waiting to be read, and I can’t wait to read them. Once again Ms. Kraemer hit it out of the park.
