Rise is the second book in The Larussio Legacy series by Via Mari. This book hooked me from the very first page, like most of the other books in the universe. This book is full of action and suspense. Gio and Serena have great chemistry. I love how Ms. Mari keeps expanding the Larussio world. There are many characters that recur from previous books and it’s like hearing from an old friend. If you love action and adventure anda Mafia thrown in, then this is the series for you. I highly recommend you read this series in order, and also the other books in Via Mari’s universe. They definitely won’t disappoint.

Anger is the second book in the Hero High series by Mina Chara. This installment starts where the first book in the series, Denial, ends. I love these short installments that are easy and fast to read. The excitement continues in this book, with Friday continuing her training and learning how to be a SuperHero. This book is fast paced and the characters are well defined. This isn’t my usual genre, but I have really got hooked this this series. I can’t wait to read the next book. Review by @sunbarn

Forbidden Desires: Taken by her Son’s Best Friend is the first book in the Confessions of a Trophy Wife by L.M. Mountford. This is the first book I have read by L.M. Mountford, but will definitely won’t be the last. This short read is an older woman/younger man steamy hot book. Elisabeth and Huge have chemistry. I found myself wanting to more about the characters, so I hope we will get book 2 in the series soon.

Jake the Growling Dog Goes to Doggie Daycare is a children’s book about trying new things, friendship, comfort and kindness by Samantha Shannon. This book is beautifully illustrated and tells a great story on how to deal with stress of new things and places. This book is a great read for children of all ages and the young at heart. A Moore Affair is the fourth book in the Moore FamilySaga by Michele Sims. This is the first book I have read by Michele Sims, I couldn’t couldn’t resist the cover of this book, so beautiful. However I’m now going back and reading the first three books in this series. This book flowed well and the characters are well developed and relatable. Bella and Ari have quite the chemistry and this book is full of action, adventure and passion. The twist and turns had me reading long after my bedtime. Romance In Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6) By K.L. Montgomery Five Stars
Badge Bunny is the fourth book in the Romance in Rehoboth series and the first book in this Boxed Set by K.L. Montgomery. This romantic comedy can be read as a stand alone but I highly recommend you read the whole series because all the books are just as good. This book had me hooked from the very first page, and had me staying up way past my bedtime to finish it. I love the characters. They are true to life. The witty banter made me laugh out loud. Brynn is a strong female character, she is an ER doctor who has a predilection for men in uniform and Chris is a State Trooper who finds himself fascinated with Brynn. This book will have you laughing one moment and reaching for a tissue the next. I have to say this is my favorite book of the series so far. If you are looking for a great fall romance this is the book for you.
Wedding War: An Enemies-to-Lovers Book is the fifth book in the series and the second book in this boxed set by K.L. Montgomery. This book is full quirky situations and witty banter. It is a really fun book to read . I was hooked on the very first page and couldn’t put it down until I finished. Jason Friday and Hannah Robinson’s families have been in a feud for over twenty year. But these two must band together to beat the big box wedding store that moved into town and put pressure on each of their wedding stores. This is a great series and I would highly recommend all of the books in this series.
Stage Mom: A Single Mom Romantic Comedy is the sixth book in Romance in Rehoboth series and the third book in this boxed set by K.L. Montgomery. This is my new favorite of this series. I just couldn’t put this book down once I started reading. Larissa Emerson is a strong female character who is always fighting for her special needs daughter. Mateo Flores is trying to not screw up his first year running the Little Miss Rehoboth pageant. The clash between these two is really spectacular. I love all of the books in this series and highly recommend it to everyone who loves romance.

Testament of Feats: Book of Sorrows is the second book in the Testament of Feats series by K.H. Jones. I enjoyed the first book, but this is my new favorite. This Series should be read in order because this book starts where book one ended. It is a fantastical story, with detailed characters that draw you in. This book flowed smoothly and held my attention from beginning to end. If you like fantasy this is a great series, and I highly recommend it.

Black Blade is the first book I have read by Alexander Charalambides. This book brings the story of Excalibur to modern times. Although this book started out slow for me, it really came on strong a couple of chapters in. It is full of action and adventure, and the characters really grew as the story progressed. Lance and Megan, American teenagers, take a special trip for college to the UK to tour a museum, and that is where the story begins. I really like that the story is told in multiple POV. You really learn what each of the characters are thinking that way. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more by Alexander Charalambides.

Romance in Rehoboth Box Set 1-3 by K.L. Montgomery Five Stars
Music Man: A Single Dad Rock Star Romantic Comedy is the first book in the Romance in Rehoboth series by K.L. Montgomery. Ms. Montgomery is one of my go to authors. It amazes me how she can pull these characters and make me feel like I’m right there with them dealing with life’s everyday problems. Jack and Claire’s story is full of emotions and it gave me all the feels. I really relate to Claire’s character, she makes me happy. I feel like I could be her. If you like Sweet Romance with a little Steam, this is a great book for you. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
The Flip is the second book in the Romance in Rehoboth Series by K.L. Montgomery. I really like K.L.’s books but I think this may be my favorite so far. I love how she always makes me laugh with her character witty banter. Also the plotlines are so down to earth you feel like you’re right there with the characters. Drew and Sonnet have been enemies since high school, but now find themselves co-owners in a home left to them by Drew’s aunt. They decide to work together to flip the house. The situations they find themselves in are hilarious, and when their feelings start changing for each other and they slowly become a couple they fight it until they can’t.
Plot Twist is the third book in the Romance in Rehoboth series by K.L. Montgomery. The characters are true to life and down to earth. The story pulled me in from the very first page and held my attention from beginning to end. The emotional roller coaster had me laughing out loud and reaching for tissues. I love the witty dialog and Lindy and Meric are both such strong characters, even though they have some flaws. Of course, we hear about some of the characters featured in the first two books. It was an overall enjoyable read! This is one of my favorite series from Ms. Montgomery. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

A Study in Spirits is the second book in the College Fae Series by Byrd Nash. Although I didn’t read the first book in this series, I had no problem jumping right into this story. I enjoyed this book so much, I will be going back and reading the first book. This book was filled with magic, mystery and adventure. The world building was great and the characters were well developed. Brigit, Logan and the rest of the gang took me on a wonderful adventure that I couldn’t put down until I read the last page. Imposter: An Ash Park Novel (Volume7) by Meghan O’Flynn Five Stars
Imposter is the seventh book in the Ash Park series by Meghan O’Flynn. Although these book can be read as standalone, I would highly recommend you read them in order. Ms. O’Flynn is really a master at giving us a brilliant psychological thriller. The twists and turns will have you wondering how Meghan comes up with the plots for her books. This is the best book in the series so far. Detective Petrosky is back, looking into a suicide that is not really a suicide. Just when you think you know who the killer is, BAM, there is another twist. I love how this series makes me think. I do have to say that this series is not for the feint of heart. It is at times gruesome and often disturbing. Twisted minds are common and really graphic. It is the perfect series for those that love to catch monsters. Review by@sunbarn

Rockin’ It Home: A Lawson Family Novel by Tracey Cramer-Kelly Five Stars
Rockin’ It Home is the third book in the Lawson Family series by Tracey Cramer-Kelly. This is by far the best book of the series. This is Ben’s story and much anticipated by me. This series should be read in order, because you will miss much of the backstory, if you don’t. This read is full of feel and it grabbed my attention from the very first page. Ben is a Rock Star in need of a babysitter and Danielle is just the person for the job. The characters are strong and very relatable. The subject of addiction was truly well written and the plot had me reading long into the night. I’m looking forward to more books by Ms. Cramer-Kelly. Her book keep getting better and better. She is now officially on my TBR list.

Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes by Tamara Ferguson Five Stars
Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes is the ninth book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Series by Tamara Ferguson. I absolutely love this series and this is my favorite book so far in this series. I live in Northern Wisconsin and I feel like the area around my home could be Crystal Rock, so I feel A kinship to this series. I also find that Ms. Ferguson does a wonderful job showing all side of Wounded Warriors dealing with issues. The characters are so true to life and the feels this book brought out are amazing. Sam and Ben have crazy chemistry and I love how they work through their issues. I highly recommend this book, series and author. Review by @sunbarn

A Kiss Beneath A Strawberry Moon is the third book in the Daydreams & Dragonflies Rock ‘N Sweet Romance Series by Tamara Ferguson. I have to say that Tamara is one of my go to authors. I have never read a book I didn’t like from her and this is one of my favorite series. Marielle and Drew’s story grabbed me from the very first page and I couldn’t put it down until the last. Young love that goes through adversity is a true test. This book gave me all the feels. The ups and down, relatable characters and and music theme in the background gave this book just the right amount of angst and heartache backed up by heartwarming charm. Flowers in December Trilogy by Jane Suen Four Stars
Flowers in December is a self enlightening story by Jane Suen. I have read three or four books by Ms. Suen, but I have to say I think this my favorite so far. This story has a personal element for me, having lost my grandmother this last year. This short story was beautifully written and very emotional. This book had me from the first page to the last. Conner Norton’s struggle with grief is prominent in this story as he returns to his hometown town for his mother’s funeral. After the funeral he stays to get his family affairs in order, which brings on self reflection. This book took me on an emotional roller coaster, I definitely needed my box of tissues. Conner’s strength of character made this story flow. I highly recommend this book.
Coming Home by Jane Suen
Coming Home: The Sequel To Flowers in December by Jane Suen. This is the continuation of Connor’s story as he comes home for Christmas. This book could be read as a standalone, but I would highly recommend that you read it in order to get the full story. This is a feel good romance full of ups and downs. I was hooked on the very first page and couldn’t put it down until the last. The ups and downs gave me all the feels and I truly enjoyed this story. I highly recommend this book, series and author.
Second Chance: The Conclusion of the Flowers in December Trilogy by Jane Suen
Second Chance is the last book in the Flowers in December Trilogy and the book I have been waiting for. I have enjoyed the whole series but this book really tied things up. This book could be read as a stand alone, but I highly recommend this series in order. Conner and Mary Ann’s story was sweet and just what I needed after the holidays. Jane Suen does a great job with the short HEA stories that make you feel good reading. I look forward to seeing what she has in store for us next.

Mountains Wanted is the first book in the Mountains series by Phoebe Alexander. I have to say that Phoebe is a one click author for me, and this book doesn’t disappoint. I started reading it when I got home from work on Monday evening when I looked up next it was 4:00am. It was well worth the lost sleep. The emotional roller coaster had me laughing and crying all night. I love Sarah and James, they are relatable but frustrating and always entertaining. This series is eight books long, so I just can’t wait to see what happens next. Super Excited to start Book 2!

Out Of The Shadows is the first book I have read by Theresa Sederholt, but definitely won’t be the last. This book is a real heartbreaker. I never really thought about domestic violence where the man is the one being abused, but Ms. Sederholt really opened my eyes on this subject. I have to say, this book is going to wrench your heat out and stomp on it. I went through a half a box of tissues while reading. The characters were detailed, and the subject was heartbreaking. I am amazed how well Ms. Sederholt portrayedthis sensitive subjects. I can’t wait to get my hands on Ms. Sederholt’s other stories.

King & Hunt: A Lust/Hate Story is the first book I have read by Brienne Dubh. This is a really fantastic, sexy, fun read. The characters are believable and the dialogue is witty and fun. Rewind Boxed Set (Books 1-4) by Rowan Shaw Four Stars
Rewind is the first book in the Rewind series by Rowan Shaw. This book can be read as a standalone, but I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in the series. I love the setting in France, and the character growth from both men. This is a second chance romance that tells the story of Enzo and Florian. This book brought out all of my emotions. I was laughing, crying, tearing my hair out and routing for this couple. I really enjoyed this story and all of the growth and heartache that both of these guys go through.
Return is the second book in the Rewind series by Rowan Shaw. This book can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading Rewind first as that is where we meet Raphael for the first time. This book started out a little slow for me, but really made up for it by the end. This is Raphael and Adrein’s story. I love the witty banter between the two of them, and how their story comes together. The love scenes are sizzling hot.
Revive is the third book in the Rewind series by Rowan Shaw. The first two books are wonderful and there are recurring characters that appear in this book. This is Patrick and Brandon’s story. I love how the author makes the characters come to life. I was rooting for them the whole way. This is my favorite book of the series so far, but I can’t wait to read the next book. If you are a fan of MM romance, I highly recommend this series.
Rebound is the fourth book in this set by Rowan Shaw. What an amazing read. Rowan saved the best for last. This is Noah’s story, and it has all of the feels you can want in a book. The emotional ups and downs are heartfelt and the characters are true to life. This truly was an awesome series that I can’t recommend enough. It grabbed me by the heartstrings and I couldn’t put it down.

The emotional roller coaster had me laughing and crying all night. I love Sarah and James, they are relatable but frustrating and always entertaining. This series is eight books long, so I just can’t wait to see what happens next. Super Excited to start Book 2!

The Runaround: A Single Dad Romantic Comedy is the sixth book in The Carolina Connections by Sylvie Stewart. This series keeps getting better and better. I think this is my new favorite by Sylvie . Ari and Jax are great relatable main characters, but Lola really makes the story come together. The dialog is witty, and the chemistry is sizzling. Reading this story was a truly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this book, series and author. Review by @sunbarn

Landing the Lawman is the fifth book in the Hills of Texas series by Kadie Scott. This book grabbed me on the very first page and I couldn’t put it down until the last. This book can be read as a standalone, but I recommend you read the entire series. All of the previous books are fantastic. This is Carter and Logan’s story. This story is filled with romance, chemistry and witty banter that had me rooting for a HEA. I have really enjoyed this series and look forward to reading more by Ms. Scott. Review by@sunbarn

The Rise Of House Valdis by Naomi Valkyrie Five Stars
The Rise Of House Valdis is the first book in the House Valdis Series by Naomi Valkyrie. It is a truly amazing debut story, and I believe it will be the first of many great reads. This Sci-Fi Romance is full of interesting characters and the plot line had me hooked from the beginning. Xenobia is a strong female dealing with a whole new world. The story was fast paced and with great descriptions. I can’t wait to see what happens next in this new adventure.

The Fat Girl’s Guide To Loving Your Body by K.L. Montgomery Five Stars
This is a must read book for everyone, especially if you have self image issues. I wasn’t sure what I was getting into when I started reading this book, but this book gave me something to think about. I don’t have to settle and this book gave me some great ideas about self image and attitude. I love the narrative when K.L. Is talking to you like a girlfriend. I’m not much for writing, but the exercises were stimulating and help give me a different perspective. So me new outlook on this year is to be better to myself and try not to sweat the small stuff. Life throws us enough curveballs we shouldn’t bring more on ourselves. Thank you Krista Lynne for the insightful words of wisdom. I look forward to continuing down this healing path for the foreseeable future.

Beloved is the third book in the 21st Century Courtesan series by Pamela DuMond. I have been waiting for this book to come out, to see how this story progresses. It was well worth the wait. This book hooked me from the first page and I couldn’t put it down until I read the last. It is fast paced and had my emotions all over the place. Evie is such a complex woman with a heart of gold. The men in this story are beyond out of this world, and the plot I’d amazingly mind blowing. This is my new favorite book by Ms. DuMond, and I just can’t wait to read more from this amazing author!

Set It Free is the third book in the Fallen Eagles MC Series by T. Birmingham. This romantic suspense kept me up at night, reading long after my bedtime. I just couldn’t put it down. The storyline has a powerful message, and the characters just grabbed my heart. This book can be read as a stand alone, but I would recommend reading the series in order. The first two books are great reads and you will meet some of the characters and have the back story. This story was very emotional for me. I was reaching for a tissue more than once. I think a good book leaves you with a book hangover , where you just keep thinking about for days after. This story fills that bill. I’m looking forward to the next bookin this series. Second Chance: The Conclusion of the Flowers in December Trilogy by Jane Suen Four Stars
Second Chance is the last book in the Flowers in December Trilogy and the book I have been waiting for. I have enjoyed the whole series but this book really tied things up. This book could be read as a stand alone, but I highly recommend this series in order. Conner and Mary Ann’s story was sweet and just what I needed after the holidays. Jane Suen does a great job with the short HEA stories that make you feel good reading. I look forward to seeing what she has in store for us next. Review by @sunbarn

Naomi is the second book in the Maggie Trilogy by Mya O’Malley. This series should be read in order to get the full back story. That being said, this book was truly amazing. Naomi is such a strong character, with a big heart. This book grabbed my attention from the very first page and I couldn’t put it down until the last. I love how we learn stuff from Maggie and Ryan. Bryce is amazing to accept the unusual circumstances in his relationship with Naomi. If you Love Ghost Stories this series is a perfect fit. I can’t wait to read the third book in this series.
