Hero High: Heartbreak Rebellion is Books 4 Depression, 5 Acceptance and 6 Hero of the Hero High series by Mina Chara. This segment of the series is filled with fast paced intrigue and adventure along with a little romance throw in. Friday Fitzsimmons is back and on the edge of stardom, but is that what she really wants? This fantasy superhero genre is not one I usually read, but I’m really enjoying this series. All of the characters are growing as the series unravels and the writing is wonderful. I highly recommend this book, series and author.

It Comes From Within is the second book in the House Valdis series by Naomi Valkyrie. This series should be read in order to fully understand the plotline. This book takes place six months after the Rise Of the House Valdis. The story is multi layered with amazing characters. I would consider it to be Fantasy/Sci-Fi which is not a normal genre that I read, but Ms. Valkyrie really has my attention with this series. All of the characters in this book have a voice and I love how we learn more about them and thing that have shaped their lives. This author is growing with every book and I look forward to reading many more books in the future.

On With The Butter! Spread More Living onto Everyday Life by Heidi Herman
Five Stars

On With The Butter is an inspirational / self help bookby Heidi Herman. This is the first book I have read by Ms. Herman, but I’m going to be checking a few more out in the near future.

This book actually got me thinking and may change my life, if I can stick to some of Ms. Herman’s philosophies. Last year, I was diagnosed with cancer. I went through the treatment and am now cancer free for about nine months. However, the treatments weren’t so friendly with my body. I was thinking a lot this past month about being fifty three years old and unable to move around like I used to even two years ago. My life consists mostly of working 10-12 hour days coming home watching tv and sleeping. With the pandemic, my husband and I don’t even go out to dinner anymore. I was thinking the other day, I need to make so e changes, and reading this book gave me some great ideas. I’m not an outdoor person, but the hobbies and book club ideas sound wonderful. Trying something new sounds like a breath of fresh air.

Thank you Ms. Herman for giving me all of these new ideas to enhance my life. I’m ready to change my focus from all work and no play to finding things I enjoy and indulging myself. Life is too short to continually be weighed down by the daily grind. I look forward to putting some of you lists to good use. This is an excellent guide to make a happier me. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge.
