Evergreen by Mya O’Malley is a short and sweet novel about important things in life… like animals. I am new to this author and I am so thrilled that I found her and chose to get this book. I am so happy that this book integrated shelter pets into it. The characters were nothing short of amazing from the main people characters to the animal characters as well. Sweet June is working at an animal shelter trying to make a difference for the animals there. She wishes she could just bring all of them home, which is what I would wish for if I worked in a shelter. Graham comes knocking on the door one evening after the shelter is closed with a Great Dane that he found wondering on the street. The enormous dog threatens to come between them but also brings them together. This is an emotional story that I related to on a personal level because I have such a big heart for animals.

Evergreen by Mya O’Malley was a sweet and charming story. Let me start by saying I loved the front cover. I have a soft spot for animals so anytime I can read a feel good book with dogs I’m game. This was a sweet romance and I love how the animals were given a voice. Overall I have nothing to critique. It was a fun book and I enjoyed reading it. 4 star rating!

Evergreen by Mya O’Malley was a romantic heart warming read. I would give this book a five out of five stars. I loved June and Graham’s point of views. The two point of views add value and I enjoyed the misunderstandings. June was a fun read, very relatable and just adorable. Graham has the best intentions but his foot seems to live in his mouth. Maxine was hilarious and definitely stood out.

Evergreen by Mya O’Malley is a sweet and romantic story that really has you believing in happily ever after.
I was drawn immediately in to this story and the journey that June and Graham went on. It was such a lovely story the connection between them.
I really liked that we got to see another side to this author. I am used to her other work which is a completely different style. Reading this book shows just how talented she is as you would never know she doesn’t write like this all the time.
This is a great book and one that I will definitely recommend.

This is a full length romance novel. It is so nice to read a Sweet Romance.

June just wants to be herself. Which is not what her parents want. While she has money, she does not want others to know. She loves her job working at the shelter. When Graham finds a stray Great Dane, he brings it to the shelter. Now he wants the dog and the girl. But does the dog and June want Graham?

Mya O’Malley has written this sweet romance. It is well written and a fast read. Sometimes I just want a clean romance, that is outside the bedroom. This is just what I needed. I’m sure you will love it too. June and Graham are the perfect characters for this book. The way she brings this couple together was amazing. That Great Dane made the story come together. I Love Evergreen. Sweet romance for those young teenage readers. Thank You Mya O’Malley! !

Evergreen by Mya O’Malley. This is the sweetest feel good book I’ve read in a long time. Its the story of June short for Juniper who has been handed a very good hand as far as finances are concerned but when it comes to matters of the hard not so much. When she starts to care for homeless animals she decides her next love will have 4 legs not 2. Out of the blue a Great Dane named Maxine is delivered to the shelter by Graham who seems interesting enough but Maxine steals the show. June is in love immediately with Maxine and it seems Maxine is intent on getting June and Graham together. This is such a cozy read and it would be perfect to curl up with a cup of cocoa and a blanket and read the day away! Find out if Maxine is successful in getting June and Graham together!

This is a lovely story that revolves around pet adoption. The clinics, the people that work there and the dog that brings people together. I liked the idea of this book. The reading of it was a bit of a struggle for me. I couldn’t keep my interest in the story. The characters were nice. I liked them but didn’t love them.

The ending was nice and the evergreen thing was cool. I did like that the story swirls around pet adoption and brings awareness to the no-kill shelter

Evergreen by Mya O’Malley is a surprising fun read that actually teaches us many lessons AND it is so different from the other book I have read by this writer so I am really pleased I picked up a copy!
Evergreen is Juniper (June for short) and Graham’s story but in reality the true star of the show is Maxine! I promise you will fall in love with this lovable Great Dane that plays a vital role in June and Graham’s relationship! I love how the writer is using the rescue animals as one of the main elements in her story line; I think that it reminds us how important pets can be/are in our lives …
Be prepared to laugh and feel sad and angry and also be prepared to hope and love … June has her baggage and it is hard for her to trust and open up to people but she has come out the other side in one piece and stronger even if she does not believe it herself … and then we have Graham, the sexy shy school teacher that brings the banter and hope and … love … Well done Ms O’Malley and thank you for this modern fairy tale!

Let me start by saying that this is one of the best ‘feelgood’ stories I have read in quite some time. It is such a sweet and charming story, and it has a real ‘cozy’ feel to it. So, grab yourself a cup of hot cocoa, a fluffy blanket and find a comfortable seat, and get lost in this wonderful story for a few hours.
Evergreen by Mya O’Malley is quite a bit different from the other books of hers that I have read, so that took me by surprise- a really wonderful surprise. I really enjoyed her other books, but I think this may just be my favourite of them all. This heart-warming story gave me all those warm and fuzzy feelings that I love so much. This beautiful story, with such endearing characters is one I won’t soon forget. But it’s a mysterious and loveable Great Dane named Maxine who really stole the whole show for me. I adored her. Now I am scouring the internet looking for Great Dane breeders in my area so I can get one of my own! That’s how much this story grabbed me.
It is a fairly short story, which makes for a very quick and easy read- I consumed it all in one easy sitting. The storyline switches back and forth from past to present perspectives quite seamlessly and helped to build the story. I really recommend this book to anyone who loves a feelgood story, with wonderful characters, and a lovely romance. You are sure to love it as much as I have.
I really can’t wait to read whatever Ms. O’Malley does next- she never disappoints!

Thank you, Ms. O’Malley!

Evergreen is a sweet, emotional love story with so many lessons to teach us! June, the seemingly backwards, shy, and clumsy girl from the animal shelter isn’t really whom she appears to be. She is, but there is much more to her that she keeps hidden from everyone because she is too afraid of being used and hurt if people find out the truth. Graham is the shy but sexy 6th grade teacher who happens upon a mysterious dog and meets June while taking the dog to the shelter. When the two of them and Maxine get together, things get humorous, serious, and at times, emotional.

This was a wonderful story that teaches us how powerfully our pasts can affect our presents. How animals can bring so much joy to our lives and help us heal old and new wounds. It also shows us the important works that local animal shelters do and how much help they need in order to operate in the most beneficial way for the animals.

I enjoyed this book so much! I could picture everything perfectly. The scenes and characters were written so well, the images are fed to you right from the pages. I highly recommend this short and sweet romance to everyone!

This was a fast paced read and has 2 of my favorite things, dogs and a sweet romance.
June never measured up in her parents eyes and my heart hurt for her as she didn’t trust easily, if at all.
Graham was funny, a little awkward and also just an all around good guy.
Cant forget the star of the book, Maxine! What a great character to add to this book. She brought it all together and I loved her antics.
Great read!

All the things with this book! First and foremost, I will start with the gorgeous cover of this novel. I loved this so much that I scooped it up not even reading a word or who it is by. I was shocked to find out that the author was Mya O’Malley, normally one of my favorite authors that pens suspense and twisty books. This was not the case with Evergreen and that is no easy feat being able to bounce from such different genres and make them both extraordinary like you see with this case. Evergreen is a contemporary romance with a bit of magic I felt, or the feel of it at least. I loved how the animals were given a voice and that attributed to the magical feeling of it all. This book brings to life right before your eyes June, a relatable girl for most and makes the story everything it is. I loved how this book unfolded so organically and wrapped up in a nice neat way. I look forward to seeing what else Mya O’Malley tries her pen at, I am sure I will love it!

Absolutely nothing wrong with this sweet sweet story. O’Malley has written a sweet easy read. Characters that have depth, characters that grow in just a short amount of time. And a story that includes a dog “angel”! Definite win!

I liked the way this story flowed. We were introduced to June first, along with her passion for the animals at the shelter. She comes across a little clumsy and unsure of herself. Then we are introduced to Graham and Maxine and they are “—perfect.” Graham is a kind hearted man who seems a little unsure of his awesome-ness as well. These two seem like the perfect match, but there is also Maxine to worry about.

I really enjoyed this cute story and recommend it to readers of any age.

The story Evergreen by Mya O’Malley is a wonderful book to read. It has a storyline that kept my attention and characters that I fell in love with. The story pulled me in from the very beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. I loved reading about June and Graham. June is an intelligent, caring, and kind person. She has not had success in relationships, so she has decided to find a canine for a companion. Then she meets Graham. After Graham meets June, he finds that he can’t stop thinking of her. There is an attraction between them. I also loved reading about Maxine, the Great Dane, who plays a part in this story. Maxine is affectionate and loves to show that affection to June and Graham. Will Graham and June act on their feelings for each other? When complications arise will their relationship survive? What will the future bring for June and Graham? Read this book to find out. This is a story that has heartwarming scenes and also times of conflict. The book is well-written and touched my heart. Don’t miss out on a wonderful story. I highly recommend this book.

Evergreen by Mya O’Malley has surprised me with this absolutely beautiful story. The way Mya told this love story is so wonderfully done. I was magically transported straight in to this world and walked each and every step with these wonderful characters. There are a multitude of emotions that tugged on my heart strings from laughing out loud at their easy banter to sadness and at other times I was mad as heck and looking for blood. But let’s not forget the star of the show Maxine, she just melted my heart altogether. I need me one.

June had always led a different life to the one her parents envisioned but she was happy and left with a few scars. That is until two unique beings came into her life and changed it forever.

Graham comes across a rare treasure and tries to find help, what he finds is two angels that he never knew he was looking for. Now all he has to do is break through the barriers that she has built around herself and her heart.

If you want a feel good and wonderful read to lose yourself in, grab this book. You will love it as much as I did.

Mya O’Malley knows how to tug on the heart string with Evergreen. Mya O’Malley’s does a great job with her characters in this book. She gives the animals a voice which is a great idea for a Contemporary Romance story. The story is a simple one but it is a “warm cuddly” book to snuggle up to a warm fire and read with your best canine friend. June is a “rich girl” who has a passion for animals. She has decided that she will live with her perfect canine to live with for all her days. That is when she meets Maxine, the Great Dane. It appears as if Maxine is working her charms to get Graham (her best friend) together with June. Will it be that simple that a Great Dane will get these two people together? Will there be obstacles that may keep Graham and June apart?

But it’s different than other books by this author I’ve read and I absolutely loved it! It’s a book that has you wanting to find a comfortable chair and just reading and never stop. The characters are complex and relatable, June has a story to be told and trust me you don’t want to miss out. I was just so completely hooked. If you’re looking for a book that gives you all the feels I highly recommend this story. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Sweet and Quick

They say don’t judge a book by its cover, but I think this book is the exception. The story is exactly as the cover conveys. It is a sweet story about a dog and her purpose. Oh sure, that’s not how the book is actually written but I just know that this is Maxine’s story. Fine, Fine, Fine… June and Graham have a meet cute and blah blah blah. Can we talk about the dog now?? Great Danes truly are magical and Maxine is one of dreams. Oh, so June and Graham … Hahaha I’m joking

I really enjoyed this quick read. It is a sweet romance about not judging a book by its cover. In this case, though, it is a person named June. June is much more than her dowdy look would lead on. She is strong and brave and beautiful.

The story is sort of a modern day fairy tale and I absolutely recommend it. It is a good read for young and old alike.

This has to be one of the sweetest stories ever! It caught me totally off guard because when I think of this authors books I immediately get scared lol but this one..oh my gosh I loved it and read it in one sitting. I’ve only read the books of hers that mess with your mind so this was a welcome change and now I just want to go see what else is available and read them all.

I want a Max/Maxine she was my favorite character in this whole book and I love that I was left guessing with her in the end. June had it rough growing up, some would think she had it made but it was the complete opposite and I felt all the feels reading her story. She came out the other side though a strong force that didn’t trust easily, if at all. This made life rough for Graham as his immediate attraction to her had him wanting to break down all those walls she had put up.
I loved the friendship bond between Monica and June, even if it still took a while for June to open up and trust her.

I love how this story was written, it had me hooked from the start and is one of those kinds of books you just want to curl up on the couch with coffee, a warm blanket and no distractions. This had it all…It had me super angry at times, super sad, and there were times I laughed at the banter between June and Graham. This was unique and I loved the message this book portrays.

Totally awesome read…A definite one click author for me.

Absolutely loved Run from Love by Teddy Cat Hester. It’s one of those stories that once you dive into it everything else fades away into the background and your real life is put on the back burner. All I wanted to do was read this book until it was finished!

Scarlet has a very strict 6 month rule when it comes to relationships. She is not one that wants to form any sort of attachments in a relationship so at the 6 month mark she ends it. Nick has his sights on outlasting her 6 month rule and he has to work around it so it doesn’t send her running for the hills.

This was such a cute and sweet story. Definitely a one-click and I cannot wait to read more from this author!

Run From Love is the 2nd book in the Bowser Belles Sweet Contemporary Romance series by Teddy Cat Hester. Each book can be read as a stand-alone, although characters are recurring through the series. I was unaware that this was the 2nd book in a series when I read it and certainly did not feel that I was missing out on any important information.
Scarlett Peacock has very strict rules in her dating: 6 months maximum and no meeting of any family or colleagues. She’s approaching the 6 month deadline with Nick Schafer and Nick is determined to break her rules.
I have to say that I loved both Scarlett and Nick, although I did want to shake some sense into Scarlett on several occasions. Nick is a sweetheart single dad to the adorable Noah. I’m such a sucker for a single dad with a cute kid. I loved the interactions with Noah, making sure he felt included. Added to the cute kids are some awesome fur babies who add so much to the story.
I could not put this book down. I binge read the whole book over a few hours. I loved the characters and the storyline and just lost myself in this heart-warming, sweet romance. I would definitely recommend this book.

This book is about Scarlett and Nick. Scarlett has a 6 month rule. It’s long enough to have some fun but, not long enough to have to meet each others coworkers and family. Nick is really into Scarlett and knows his 6 month expiration date is on the horizon. When Nick is required to attend a dinner date with the partners of his firm, he knows he has to show up. Nick is up for a promotion to become partner and is told to bring his girlfriend. He’s afraid to ask Scarlett because he knows she is just looking for an excuse to end their relationship. When he convinces Scarlett to go, everything goes great. Nick couldn’t have asked for a better outcome.
Scarlett also ends up meeting Nick’s son. She tries hard to distance herself from Noah but finds it impossible. Especially when her two dogs Daffy and Dilly love him so much.
Will Nick be able to convince Scarlett to throw her 6 month rule out the window and just be happy with him and their relationship? I thought this book was such a sweet read. I enjoyed reading this book and was glad it kept me interested from the beginning till the end.

She is always upfront about it when she starts dating so there are no hard feelings. This is an amazing emotional story about how our past influences our future and could potentially ruin something thats meant to be.

Scarlett is a young woman who can allows anyone to get close to her. She has strict rules and one of them is that relationships only last for 6 months.

Nick is a hardworking single father. His past relationship has made it hard for him to trust but he is prepared to risk everything to keep Scarlett for longer than the 6 months.

He pushes her boundaries at every opportunity firstly by asking her to his works party, then by introducing his son to her.

Can Scarlett let her guards down and embrace this new relationship and love or is she so stubborn she will keep to her 6 month time limit no matter what.

Its an emotional story and really well written. You feel for both the characters and cant help cheering with them and crying with them.

Run From Love: A Bowser Belles Sweet Contemporary Romance by Teddy Cat Hester is an easy and fun read. This story is as sweet as cherry pie- with interesting and likeable characters. There is some witty dialog, funny banter, and antics- which made this such a fun read. But, there were times I wanted to knock their heads together in frustration, too.
Even though the story isn’t dramatic or complicated- there was plenty to keep me engaged and entertained.
Scarlett has a rule she sticks to when dating. No relationship goes past six months. She doesn’t do complicated, messy, or awkward. Walking away in the end with no regrets. But her rules are about to be tested- and boundaries pushed, when Nick enters the picture.
If you like a lovely, sweet romance- then this is definitely the book for you!

Thank you, Teddy Cat Hester!

Run From Love is a Bowser Belles book by Teddy Cat Hester. It is the second book in the collection, but the first I have read. It can be read and enjoyed as a stand alone book. I would love to read about the other supporting characters from the book, but don’t feel like I missed anything by starting with book 2. It is a quick romantic book about Scarlett and Nick. Scarlett has a 6 month rule for dating, she cuts them loose at the 6 month point. She makes that clear from the beginning, so the guys know what they are getting into. Nick is no exception. He knew he was on a time limit, but thought he could charm his way into buying more time.
The two are complete opposites in every aspect, but it makes them work. Scarlett wears bright colored clothes, dyes her hair wild colors on a rotating basis, loves her dogs, and puts on skits at elementary schools for a living. Nick is commonly seen in dark suits, and works at a prestigious firm where he is trying to make partner. He has a son, and wants a family again. Can the spark between them be enough to make Scarlett break her own rules? Can Nick charm his way into Scarlett’s life for the long term? Read to find out! Its a quick fun book, you won’t regret it.
