Price of a Rose: A Beauty & Beast Tale (Historical Fantasy Fairytale Retellings Book 2) by Byrd Nash is wonderful. When your father loses a bet in a card game against the “Beast” of Thorn Hall in exchange for one of his three daughters, the sisters find a way to ensure their fate turns out to their liking. Lily, Rose, and Poppy each find themselves a job at Thorn Hall manor. Lily begins running the household, Rose works to reclaim the overgrown garden, and Poppy searches out books of magic while working as the “Beast’s” secretary. I loved hearing about the magic that has overtaken Thorn Hall and how the sisters have helped to save the hall, the beast, and others who were affected by the fairy curse. The sisters and other characters in this story make it so much fun to read!
I’m looking forward to more in the Historical Fantasy Fairytale Retellings series!

The historical elements of this book brings it more to life there a few twist and turns as nothing is straight as a die. What kepy going through my mind is why is Sir Griffin cursed what did he do that is so terrible. Well worth a read.

Price of a Rose: a Beauty and Beast tale (Historical Fantasy Fairytale Retellings Book 2) by Byrd Nash. I loved the first book in this series so I was so excited to read this one. It did not disappoint! Its the retelling of Beauty and the Beast and its done in such a way that I loved it even more than the original. Its the story of three sisters Lily, Rose and Poppy. When their father tries to steal the Moab Rose and gets caught instead of letting them kill him he gives the his daughters to the local “Beast”. Lily being the oldest feels like she has to run the household and take care of her sisters. Rose the middle child loves to garden even though its considered a “man’s work” and Poppy is a little Pippi Longstocking in her as she loves to read and magic! As they begin to make themselves more at home at “Thorn Hill” which is a character all in itself things begin to happen that no one can control! Read this wonderful retelling. You won’t be disappointed!

This is the second book in the Historical Fantasy Fairytale Retellings series. This is a Fantasy novel and is about 120 pages. This is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. Lily, Rose, and Poppy’s father gamble them away during a card game for a rose and they end up at a manor under the watchful eye of the Lord. Lily becomes the housekeeper of the manor, Poppy reads books about magic, and Rose works her magic in his garden. Could she be the key to undoing this dreadful curse on the beast?

I enjoyed this shorter historical romance story. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites by her yet. This is a story that pulled me in right from the beginning and held my attention to the end. This is one of my favorite genes and time in history. This author has created characters that brought the story to life and made it feel realistic. I had no problem connecting to the characters and picturing myself in their lives. This is a sweet romance fairytale story that kept me turning pages to the end. It is full of curses, magic and even some humor. I highly recommend picking up this book, you won’t regret it.

After gaining her B.A. degree in journalism in the year of the oil bust and 21% unemployment, Byrd scraped what some people called a living (she called it working starvation) employed as a reporter for a bunch of newspapers you never heard of in rinky-dink small towns.

Working the cop and school beat, she enjoyed the excitement of being underpaid by the sexist owners of newspapers while having her life threatened by a vagrant.

After her life wandered about, working as a museum director, horseback riding instructor, and kid’s party planner, she decided enough was enough.

Always writing, the many stories in her head are now given permission to fly free.

A Kiss Under A Blue Christmas Moon (Daydreams & Dragonflies Rock ‘N Sweet Romance 4) by Tamara Ferguson – Review by Colleen Noyes

A KISS UNDER A BLUE CHRISTMAS MOON (Daydreams & Dragonflies Rock 'N Sweet Romance Book 4)A KISS UNDER A BLUE CHRISTMAS MOON by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was my first book by Ms. Ferguson and it was a very sweet romance book. The story revolves around Mia and Noah and with their young love they experience some growing pains. Each character has a tragic history that gives you some depth into who they are. I thought the author did a great job of keeping the story moving, brining in different aspects and showing that there is a time and place for everything. I read this book in one sitting and enjoyed it so much. If you like a sweet, clean, contemporary romance then you will love this book!

This is a sweet contemporary second chance romance. This book has several reoccurring characters from the previous books in this series, but it can be read as stand alone. It doesn’t take long for you to be rooting for Mia and Noah to work out. You won’t want to put this book down once you pick it up, so grab you a reading spot and get started. You are gonna love it!

A KISS UNDER A BLUE CHRISTMAS MOON (Daydreams & Dragonflies Rock ‘N Sweet Romance Book 4) by Tamara Ferguson was a great 5 star read. I always enjoy this author’s stories and I was pulled right into this one and couldn’t put it down.

This is Mia and Noah’s story. These two met while living in Crystal Rock and fell in love. They both had goals that they wanted after school but before they were to leave on their journeys they made arrangements to meet and have a special night together. There is a twist and Mia doesn’t show up.

We jump ahead six years, Mia returns to Crystal Rock. Noah is also in Crystal Rock, can these two finally get the HEA they deserve?

Overall I really enjoyed this book. There is so much more to this great read and I don’t want to give anything away. I was pulled right in by the authors writing and loved each of the characters. I really like all the stories that involve Crystal Rock, it’s like one big family. The characters had great chemistry as well. If you are looking for a great series and 2nd chance romance, 1-click and get started today. I look forward to reading more from the series and author.
