Master Slobozia is book 12 in the Masters of the Consulate series and I can say, this story was intense but I loved it so much. I highly recommend reading this series from the beginning as you get to know the characters, building toward the explosive ending of this story. I love this phenomenal series with all my heart from the beginning….vampires, witches, rogues, danger, betrayal, fated mates and hot sizzling connections. The way the author just pulls you in with the story-telling…..truly outstanding….

The vampires and witches are continually on the hunt for the rogue they seek….Lucas.
Master Slobozia battles until the end with the other masters to bring Lucas down….but having his eyes on Taylen, Slobozia is hesitant on trusting any witches to help at this point. All Taylen wants is to be part of a Warriors Group that she has been training for so long….Taylen is a strong and wants to prove she can take care of herself in the process. When the sparks fly between Slobozia and Taylen…are they truly to be fated mate or mis-trust cloud decisions that have to be made..

Does Slobozia and all the Masters finally bring Lucas down…definitely read and find out. This is a great story….

I look forward to seeing what Sylvia has in store in the future with more stories!

Masters of the Consulate Books 1 – 4 A Vampire Paranormal Series by Sylvia Black – Review by Jenni Bishop

Master Descallia (Masters of the Consulate, #1)Master Descallia by Sylvia Black
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Master Descallia is the first book in the Masters of the Consulate series by Sylvia Black. Sylvia is a new author to me, and I was hoping this paranormal tale would be enjoyable. But what I got was so much more. This dark Vampire romance story instantly drew me in and hooked in deep, so much so that I was suddenly lost to the beauty of the harsh world that Sylvia had created right from the start. It is fast paced, intense, full of suspense and certainly sizzling. You know it’s a good story when you see your husband standing there waving his arms at you because you are so lost in the story that you didn’t hear him the first two times. I wish it were a little longer.

Master Tuscano: Dark Vampire Romance (Masters of the Consulate Book 2) by Sylvia Black is a dark paranormal Vampire romance story and is another great book in this series. As with the first book Master Descallia I was instantly lost in the story and to the beauty of the harsh world that Sylvia created. Her world building and characterization is spot on. It is also just as fast paced, intense, full of suspense and steaming hot as the first book. I am hooked on this series and love what Sylvia has done so far. She has quickly become someone who I will follow to see what else she brings. More, I want more.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This author started out with a bang with this paranormal vampire romance series, and it just keeps on getting better. The narrative makes it so easy to get lost amongst the pages of this deliciously dark tale. With rogue shifters and witches, vampires and things that go bump in the night, the masters have been betrayed and now they fight for survival in their own world.
The world building and characters make this tale enticing and delightful and takes you to a place where the world is harsh but with it comes a sense of beauty as they fight to protect their mates.
The suspenseful story is fast paced, intense, and hot, hot, hot. Don’t miss out on this wonderful series. I can’t wait for the next book.

Master Romano (Masters of the Consulate #4)Master Romano by Sylvia Black
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I absolutely love this series with these seriously sexy men of the dark and each book gets deliciously better than the last.

Master Romano is the fourth book in the Masters of the Consulate in this paranormal vampire romance series. It is so easy to embrace the world of darkness with vampires and get lost amongst the pages of this dark tale. I have said it before and I will say it again the world building and characters make this tale enticing and delightful. Sylvia paints a vivid picture for a world that is harsh and yet comes with a deep sense of beauty that is hot…….

With paranormal beings, century old feuds, one particular sassy witch, some seriously sexy vampires and the Consulate the story is intense and keeps page after page turning. This fast-paced tale is full of suspense and is sexy mexy. Don’t miss out on this wonderful series.

These fanged lords of darkness (I love the authors description) will do anything to protect what is theirs even if it means going against and old order.

Make sure you read these books in order and start today because you are seriously missing out if you don’t.

I can’t wait for what comes next from Sylvia.

Master Slobozia (Masters of the Consulate Book 12) by Sylvia Black – Review by Amanda Haller-Doris

Master Slobozia (Masters of the Consulate #12)Master Slobozia by Sylvia Black
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the final book in this intense and action packed, explosive series and I couldn’t wait to finish it to see how it ends. We have followed the Masters of the Consulate as they chase the rogues and find their chosen mates in the midst of the hunt. With Slobozia, he is completely suspicious of the witches, due to the centuries of hate between the two groups. Taylen is hoping to join the Warriors Group and has zero interest in getting involved with Slobozia, but as the hunt continues, they are thrown together in a race to defeat the rogues. The twists and turns that the book takes you on will keep you reading until the last page. While it was amazing to see the series wrap up, its bitter sweet as it’s such an engaging series. Definitely a great series and each book can be read as a standalone, but I recommend starting at book 1 and reading your way through the series to get the full impact.

Master Romano (Masters of the Consulate #4)Master Romano by Sylvia Black
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Master Romano is Book 4 in the Masters of the Consulate series and I continue to love each book in the series. While you can read each as a stand-alone, I very highly recommend reading this series in order from the beginning as there is characters intertwined in each book. If you love paranormal romance filled with vampires, witches, shifters, secrets, tested loyalties and magic, do yourself a favor and check out this series!

Master Romano has to keep an eye out as there is findings of a rogue in their midst…but also there is suspicion toward Romano as well….is Romano innocent or guilty. When Romano meets Raven, whom is a witch, there is push and pull between them, since Romano is a vampire and she is a witch. With so many secrets in between them, can they work together and also see through the chemistry between them?

Definitely read and find out…..I am looking forward to more from this series!!!

I vividly recall the moment I first opened *Master Descallia*, the inaugural book in Sylvia’s *Masters of the Consulate* series, where I was introduced to a rich tapestry of fanged Masters navigating a world steeped in darkness and intrigue. Now, as we reach the thrilling conclusion with the twelfth and final installment, the magnitude of the expansive cast and the intricate plotlines is both exhilarating and bittersweet. Sylvia has crafted a captivating universe that, despite its complexity, remains approachable. I highly recommend reading the books in chronological order; this not only deepens your understanding of the multifaceted characters but also enhances the experience of witnessing how the past intricately weaves into the present as the storyline progresses.

The latest book, *Master Slobozia*, shines as a mesmerizing dark enemies-to-lovers paranormal vampire romance, drawing readers into the depths of the series with unparalleled intensity. From the very beginning, I’ve expressed my admiration for the beauty that simultaneously resides in the bleak landscape Sylvia has envisioned. This final entry continues to deliver on that front, enveloping readers in a deliciously dark and moody atmosphere that echoes throughout the narrative. Crossing paths with Master Slobozia is a perilous venture; this vampire is not to be trifled with, and those who dare challenge him quickly discover the dire consequences of their actions.

This book is exhilarating—fast-paced and relentless—packed with heart-pounding action, palpable tension, and suspense that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The storyline is intricately woven with deadly encounters and thrilling escapades, showcasing an array of compelling elements: the allure of steamy vampires, formidable shifters, enigmatic witches, fated mates bound by destiny, deceitful traitors lurking in shadows, strong-willed females taking charge of their destinies, and an abundance of magic, drama, and political intrigue. Secrets and lies are interspersed throughout, creating an engaging atmosphere that continually surprises.

As the conclusion of this series unfolds before me, a sense of melancholy settles in. I find myself both grieving the end of this captivating journey and eagerly anticipating where Sylvia’s creative genius will lead us next. The journey has been nothing short of enchanting, and I’m ready for whatever new adventures await.

Oh, the chemistry and sexual tension is hot in this one. You could feel that it might distract them from the mission of taking out Lucas. This story was great. I felt it did a nice job of tying up the series and bringing it an end…or did it? (that ending left me hoping for a spinoff…?) Great twists that you don’t see coming. The romance between our two main characters was a medium build. You felt it, they wanted it but wanted to finish the mission. They were very relatable. Career or love? I’ve followed this series from the beginning and it’s been such an entertaining and fabulous series. Drama, romance and lots of good v. evil made for a very intriguing story.

Book 11 in this series, yet while I have read other books by this author, this is my first one in this series. I was a bit confused with some of the characters and how they connected. But overall I found this book to be exciting and full of steamy bits and there was suspense. So I will be going back to book one and reading through the whole series now. My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the 11th book in the Masters of the Consulate series. This is another dark paranormal romance which has elements of danger, twist and turns, betrayal, in this one with have a Dom/submissive relationship. Each one of these books is the story about a different Master finding his fated mate however I would recommend reading them in order as there is a story that runs underneath which is a battle between the pure bloods and the rogues both fighting for ultimate control over the underworld.
In this story we are with Master Bistrita and Chara.
The rogues have moved into Master Bistrita’s territory so all the Masters have to work with him to try and defeat the rouges once and for all.
What he didn’t expect was meeting his fated mate in the form of Chara.
However it wasn’t love at first site. When Chara barges into their meeting to warn her friend about a danger her reaction to Bistrita wasn’t very warm.
However she soon starts to realise that there is something between them that neither can deny.
But when Bistrita start putting his rules and orders in place will she willing obey or will her feisty attitude and disobedience lead them back into more danger.

Another exciting chapter in the masters of the consulate series. This novel gives more of the back story in the war between the vampires, the shifters, the witches and the syndicate. But ultimately it is about the love story between Christian and Delilah ❤️ the trials they endure and how she proves her loyalty…. Along the way a few very hot sex scenes but if you are a true Sylvia Black fan you would expect nothing less than super hot.

I cannot stress enough that you need to start this story at book one to get the basics of the war with the rogues and understand the importance of the characters. This book is also about the love story between Bistrita and Chara – fated mates ❤️ and has bdsm undertones.

I can’t believe we are already on the 11th Book of the Masters of the Consulate series. I made quick work of the book for two reasons. One it’s about 150ish pages and two it was just that good I couldn’t put it down. The plot unfolds with a well-crafted balance of suspense, passion and action ensuring that you’ll remain hooked from start to finish. I hope we get to see more of Chara and Bistrita. In the next I liked them. This book provides a satisfying mix of intrigue and character development, its familiarity with characters from the earlier books will really enhance the reading experience.so I highly suggest you go back to start at book one, and enjoy the thrilling journey this series takes you on. Hurry also because book 12 comes out next month. I’m sooooo excited for it.

Oooo. I can’t believe this series is almost over, I have enjoyed every moment of this series, and this book was no different. Sylvia Black truly is one of my favorite authors. Dual perspectives of Bistrita and Chara.
Chara is the best friend of Natalia from the previous book and Master Bistrița’s land butts up to Oradea’s in the target zone. Everything finally starts to come to a head in this one. Devora has finally given her blessing to the witches to help the purebloods. Also, with Natalia’s syndicate brothers and their men forming a barrier around the zone things seem to finally be working. Destiny has brought the witches to their pureblood mates. Now Bistrita has a new battle, one he never expected in the form of a red-headed beauty that won’t be ordered around without a fight. She’s not made of glass, and she won’t let him treat her as if she were.
Everything about this amazing series pulls you in. The tropes and the guaranteed happily ever after in each book for each couple is gold. I cannot wait to see how it all comes to an end in book twelve, Master Slobozia, October 19th, 2024. We already got glimpses of Taylen but how will she fair against her master?

If you are looking for a world where Vampires meet Fifty Shades of Grey, here it is! Master Bitrita is the perfect Christian Grey, while Chara serves as Anastasia. This book has the perfect push and pull budding romance that will keep you on your toes. Steep rivalries between Vampires, Shifters, and Witches come to a head, in this fast-paced war. The author keeps things moving, while leaving bits up to assumption without going into too much detail. A quick enjoyable read for anyone looking for a fantasy romance, with limited spice.

Master Bistrita is the 11th book in the Masters of the Consulate series. While I have not read them all, I would suggest reading book 10 before this one, otherwise you wont know what the heck is going on. This book picks up where the previous book left off. While I have enjoyed what I have read of this series, this book was not my favorite. I am not really into BDSM, and the only book I really read with it was 50 shades. And parts of this book felt very much like that- contract, signing NDA, etc. With looking past that, and quickly speed reading those sections, I enjoyed the rest of the book. I like all the mixed relationships and the plot of the series as a whole. I enjoyed the characters as each as Bistrita and Chara are both strong personalities and love fiercely.

This one is filled with action and suspense! I really enjoyed it! I highly recommend reading the series in order to get the most out of this story. We see a lot of characters from the past as the series is winding down. I liked that the author spent more time on figuring out how to stop the traitors instead of on the sex life of the two mc. They had a quick connection and thankfully others spotted it and helped them out. I like the friendships that have been built in this series. Looking forward to Lucas demise.

Great short story. Doesn’t take very long to read but does have a decent amount of description. The story progresses fairly quickly but still keeps you interested. It’s fated mates with a twist. It follows a war between rogue vampires and shifters against other vampires, shifters, and witches. It mentions the underworld and the way vampires become vampires includes a trip to the underworld upon death. It does have some smut so read your triggers.

Chara is a waitress in one of the Masters club but is a bit of a handful but when she discovers something which could help the Consulate no-one is willing to take her seriously enough to heed the warning, but when she is in front of Master Bistrita there is just something about him which drives her to distraction.

Master Bistrita is the same as all the other Consulate masters, alpha and dominate through and through but when he meets Chara he is so attracted to her can he throw out his usual “Contract” to pursue this fascinating woman., but will this distract him from the task ahead trying to find out who is trying to destroy them.

This is the eleventh book in this series and although you could read this as a stand alone story I would recommend reading the whole series, although the book is quick you get to understand the whole consulate and how we have got to this place in the story.

As always the chemistry between the two main characters is off the charts and drives the story forward with pace. I loved the way the author has still made the story fresh after so many books and that you are still invested within the overall details. I can’t wait for the last instalment of this story and finally understand who is responsible and so they win the war.

Master Bistrita (Masters of the Consulate #11)Master Bistrita by Sylvia Black
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Master Bistrita has watched all the other Masters find their fated mates. He has convinced himself that fate won’t have anyone for him because of his preferences. When Chara charges into an exchange with other Masters in concern for her friend, he is annoyed and intrigued. Chara isn’t new to the world of vampires, per se. She works at his club and her best friend is newly changed. When she realizes that she is in fact Master Bistrita’s fated mate, can she find a role in helping the others save mankind from a hostile takeover from rogue forces that want life to essentially go back to the dark ages? Will Master Bistrita embrace that gift that fate has given him before it’s too late?

I have read this series from the beginning. It was a quick read for me, as I knew a lot of the backstory. I felt like the author touched on it enough for me to remember but others coming into it thinking this is a standalone, might want to think about going back to the beginning for more depth to the storyline. Chara challenged Bistrita endlessly, and I enjoyed his torment in thinking that he could make her into a submissive person. Additionally, I liked that in this book the next Master is introduced with the love interest for him. (I am looking forward to seeing him squirm.) Each book has its own purpose on the path to the end and this one wasn’t anything less than the others. I am truly looking forward to the culmination of this series!

I can’t believe we are almost at the end of this series. It has been a wild ride! Master Bistrita meets his fated mate, Chara, in the bar owned by the vampires. She has been working there for years so it is a mystery how the two of them never met. If I had to guess it was because Bistrita didn’t visit the bar regularly or he wasn’t destined to find his mate until now. All it took was a pack of rogue wolves trying to harm everyone in the bar. She is a woman that marches to the beat of her own drum and breaks the rules rather than follows them. He on the other hand is the one that makes the rules and needs to have control at all times. How can two people who are so different be perfect for each other? All of these books have been fast paced but they are all good. Each book is about a different Master and each can be read on their own. I however do suggest reading them in order due recurring characters and the inevitable buildup to the end of this ongoing war.

Chara and Master Bistrita make a nice couple and seeing the development of their relationship made for a nice read. It is interesting to see the way Chara deals with learning about fated mates and BDSM and the interaction she has with Master Bistrita about them.
