Really cute book with great illustrations. I read it with my 8 year old and he enjoyed it as well. After the pirates have sailed, they are ready for trying new adventures of vacation! It explores different vacation fun! We will def grab more of this authors books!

I read through this book overnight. I didn’t want to put it down. It had great suspense and I can usually guess the plot twists, but I definitely did not in this one!

This is the second book but you can definitely read this as a stand alone. There are steamy scenes. A good story.

She tries to return home and her family searches for her and exhausts all resources to find her.
Emma learns a new way of life all while trying to plan an escape.
This was a great book. It was read by the point of view of both Emma and her mother Josie and he endless search of her daughter. You got to learn about the land in Texas and the old ways of The People, who have been able to live off the land undetected for years.

Carina has have a rough go lately, between COVID, caring for her father, losing a family member, she is feeling very down. She wants nothing more than a big family Christmas but her adult kids seem busy in their own lives and husband is working out of town. She connects with a young man on a online grief support group and he offers her his cabin in the mountains for the holidays to try to cheer her up and get her out of the funk she’s in. Hoping to have a wonderful white Christmas, she packs her journal and goes.
Great read about healing and getting out of your comfort zone.

Stumble and Fall follows sisters Kate and Tilly both putting their lives together in New Mexico. Kate is renovating her home and starting a counseling practice. Tilly moves back to New Mexico to be closer to her sister. Tragedy hits while trying to uncover answers and leaves both sisters with fear and self-doubt.
I did not read the first book but was able to navigate through the novel without feeling like I missed anything. It was a very well written thriller and I will probably go back and read the first!

Her college freshman roommate Jacqueline calls begging her to come down to Miami to investigate her fathers death not convinced it was a suicide as the police believe. Jacqueline was the roommate from hell but, its a paying job. She takes the job and finds herself in the world of the rich and things are not what they seem.
Great read, great character development. I didn’t read the first couple books and I didn’t feel like I was really missing anything.

Logan comes into the center to find the vets office trashed and Evka dead at the hospital. Logans peaceful world has been turned upside down. She and her friends decided to do a little investigating on their own on the suspicious circumstances and the death and the very private Evka. As the friends dig deeper, the killers’ attention turns to Logan . Can they solve the crime before anyone else gets hurt?

Marissa lives on Postscript Island and is about to fulfill her dream and open an art gallery on the island. She’s happy, dating a great guy that owns a coffee house on the island and her parents also run a successful resort there.
Weston left the island after high school leaving behind high school sweetheart Marissa. He owns a very successful business and is very happy to live the bachelor lifestyle and not return to the island. His mom reaches out about concerns of a very lucrative offer to sell her business. With some reluctance, he returns to the island on his mega yacht to find other businesses on Main Street receiving well above value offers as well.
Weston comes back to the island and back into Marissas life as they work together to find out about the developer trying to buy up a lot of postscript island.
This was a well written book. It had a good mystery and love story all in one.

Set in 15th century England, this a cute historical medieval romance. Isabel’s father arranges a marriage for her with to William. William is of the House of Lancaster, who is on the other side of the war, who is the house of the enemy.
It was a great story of strangers falling into being husband and wife. The dialect was great.
Loved following Isabel as she learned to become a woman, a wife and lady of the house. How she overcame her insecurities and learn her way. The author did a great job with time period descriptions, customs and medieval knowledge in the writing.
It was a great story about overcoming the odds.

Katherine has Visions that lead her to Golden Crest and to TJ, the faceless man in her head. Newly divorced and pregnant, she is initially hesitate but cannot deny the instant familiarity and pull towards him. She is determined to start over with a clean slate and do it on her own, but she soon learns she doesn’t want to do it without TJ.
TJ has recently returned home after retiring from a successful NFL career and wears his heart and his sleeve, which has resulted in a ver bad relationship and a hard break up. He is trying to be more guarded with his heart but he also cannot deny the pull towards Kat and wants to give it all to her.
The character development is very good and the story gives you all the feels. You can’t help but get caught up in the story and root for Kat, TJ and Toby

Tragedy strikes and Loukas and Krystina go through it together. The family learns more about their grandfather and how their grandmother has always waited for him all these years. Krystina is determined to find out more about him and bring him back to her grandmother. It tests all things Krystina knew, makes her think differently about and love and learn that love is worth fighting for. I didn’t read the first two books and I had no problem following along or feeling like I was missing something. It was good read and I really enjoyed the story!

Nora is already struggling with her own demons and past, now she is forced to undergo multiple challenges and solve the game to save a life.
This is a first in the series book. The attention to detail is amazing but sometimes a little too much. Still an excellent book and can not wait to continue the series.

JP made the decision to not pull the trigger. He hesitated and now he lives with that hesitation. He lives with the deaths of his brothers.
JP comes home and struggles with life, life as a husband, and life as a father. And he pushes everyone away trying to deal with PTSD and struggles with his horrible thoughts. With the impending weakening of the magnetic field and the sun, he tries to restore his relationships with his wife and son and also face himself.
A couple times I struggled with the back and forth, but overall it was a very good story about the struggles of those who return from seeing horrible things in war.

A great historical romance based in Portugal in 1870. Julia is a winemaker determined to save the vineyards legacy. Griffin is a British businessman who comes and tries investigate the vineyards production and try to help take over from a dealing made by her late husband.
Both Julia and Griffin have secrets despite the immediate attraction and all reasons they attempted to avoid it!
I had a hard time initially getting into the book, but so glad that I stuck with it! The story and the romance was very well written with an exception of some characters not having much development/introduced too quickly.
I love how the chapters started with a wine quote!

Zenni is a florist that wants to save her family history in a slave run plantation in her hometown of Everwood and Colton is the millionaire hell bent on tearing it down to build townhomes. Zenni wants the he plantation preserved to keep the history of Everwood County and her ancestors and Colton wants to develop the small town and erase that what Everwood plantation represents with its slave history. The story was a easy read but in my opinion didn’t give much character development and moved very quickly. If you are looking for a quick, fun and easy read the is good for that. If you want something with character and story line depth, this would not be it.

Beelzebub, the demon of Gluttony, is one of the Seven Princes of Hell. He is to tempt humans into the sin of gluttony and mark them. He comes across Clara, am empath, whom own The Sweet Spot bakery, the perfect place for gluttony. Beelzebub becomes enamored with Clara and shows himself to her and allows her to mistaken him for an angel. Clara is committed to light and God. This is a good story of good and evil, light and dark. I have not read any of the other sinful seven novels and there were a few things that I felt I may have understood better or made more sense if I had read the other novels, but not enough that made the story frustrating or too confusing.

This was a great cozy historical mystery read. It is a short novel but it held my attention throughout and I read it in one sitting (staying up late ;)) We follow Jenny whom is covering her fathers PI business while he is recovering., trying to keep his reputation and the business afloat. A visit to the jail to see an estranged relative leads Jenny on a chase to find some missing jewelry. The story shows Jenny to be clever and determined to solve the mystery which involves love gone wrong, lies, cover-ups and a shooting.

This is a second novel and while I did not read the first, I was pleased to find that I could follow the novel with no problems and you can definitely read this as a stand – alone and not feel like you were missing anything.
