I really liked this book! Didn’t realize it was part of a series so I’ll have to go back and read the others. But are considered standalone so technically not necessary. The chemistry between Adam and Cristy is the best! They’ve had to go through some things but who doesn’t? If you love a good rockstar/pop star romance, read this! You won’t be disappointed. Really well written and I’m glad I read this. I went in blind. Highly suggest checking it out.

This book is amazing!! I love a good rock star genre book and this one did not disappoint. This book is really well written and it almost make you feel as if you are part of the stage crew. You will feel like a fly on the wall during some of the dialogue with the main characters. What could happen when the leading female is invited to open for the leading male character? The characters deal with real life issues and they lean on each other to overcome traumatic events that have happened in the past. There are twists and turns that I didn’t see coming in this book. That in mind it does have some steam but it also has a great story line that you will feel yourself getting worked up and emotional when they characters get emotional. This happens to be the 4th book in the series but each can be read as a stand alone. I have not read the others in this series but if they are written the way this one is, I will be reading them shortly. I love series that follow the characters and you get glimpses of the other characters in each book. It makes it feel like I am becoming friends with the characters. This book kept me turning the pages to see what was going to happen, was the last going to destroy what neither of the characters had saw coming which is falling in love. Does the leading female run when things get tough and the leading man get his heart broken or do they work together to figure things out. You will have to read this book to figure it out. You won’t be disappointed when you do. Reviewed by: @bbohls

This is the 4th book in the Balefire series and focuses on the last single member of the band Adam Tron and Cristy. This is a great read. I love the characters. They are both confident and playful characters on the surface but they both have secrets in their pasts which could make their HEA hard to reach. The author does a great job of creating the rock star world around them. The attraction between Adam and Cristy is instant and I love how they love to tease each other and how that teasing behaviour progresses into something deeper and meaningful.
Adam and the Balefire band are out on tour again. Their ready to rock every arena they perform in with the help of the lasted pop sensation Cristy. What Adam doesn’t expect is for Cristy to be the woman that rocks him to his core. Could the final member of the band finally find a woman wilder than him to tame him? He really wants her but he feels she is holding something back from him and he’s determined to find out what it is so they can be together.
Cristy’s career is going great so when she is offered the chance to perform alongside the biggest rock group she jumps at it. The fact that she is attracted to the bass player also helps. As they work together the feelings between them intensify and what she believed would be a fling while they are on tour turns into something more meaningful. But she has a problem. There is a part of her life she has kept secret from everyone and she wants to keep it that way. Will she be able to keep this secret from Adam? What’s the consequences if she does? Can they ever really get their HEA if there are secrets between them?

Buckle up because this is going to be a very exciting ride! Have you ever wondered what it must be like to see into the interworking minds of famous musicians, well that’s exactly what you get with Tam DeRudder Jackson’s Hot For Me (The Balefire Series Book 4)! Not only did she develop very multidimensional characters, but she also draws a perfect picture of what it’s like to be behind the scenes and on stage with the world’s most famous rock band and the hottest female pop star (Christy Valor) who happens to be single, but has secrets that are haunting her. Add in a single gorgeous bass player (Adam Tron) from Balefire who loves the after-parties and all those groupies, and boy do you have a recipe for some mischief. Will Adam Tron be able to break through the walls Christy Valor has put up and get her to trust him with her secrets, or will she run the opposite way, leaving our bass player hanging with no clue what hit him? This book is hot, steamy, and full of surprises that you did not see coming. If you have not read the other books in The Balefire Series you will want to go back and read the stories of the other bandmates, Jack and Clio, Blu and Ashleigh, and of course Dakota and Annabelle’s romances. When you finish this book you will be begging for more in the series, like what’s up with The Balefire’s Manager Garrett and his mood? @Brandy Rymer 2/2023

This story was well written and I couldn’t put it down! Cristy and Adam were amazing characters that I was rooting for from page one.
Cristy is no stranger to the paparazzi. They love running a story about her…good or bad. So, when she joins Balefire on their tour, she knows that the paps will find a way to make a story about anything. But, she likes it that way…because if she controls the narrative, then they don’t delve too far into her past to find one of the most hear-wrenching stories of all.
Adam is mesmerized by Cristy the first time she steps foot into the room. He has been enamored with her music for a while, but seeing her in person is like an arrow straight through the heart. What starts off as hormones and adrenaline quickly turns into real feelings. But he can tell Cristy is holding back…and he is determined to find out why.
This story was like reading a movie…I could see it all running through my head. The details really painted a picture. Adam and Cristy’s story is one of lust, love, heartbreak, and acceptance. It is a reminder that when you find the person that loves you unconditionally, you can weather any storm that comes your way. I loved all the references to pop culture musical artists. For a while, I forgot this wasn’t a true story! A great book that I enjoyed every second of!

I have read a few books from this author and she always blows my mind. I love a good rock star romance but this book exceeded all my expectations. This is the second book of the amazing Balefire series. You can read this book as a stand alone but there are previous characters in this book as well. I was so excited to get this book I stopped everything and started this book right away. I could not put this book down until the end. I can’t wait to see who she will write about next.
Adam Tron is the lead bassist of the amazing group Balefire. He can have any woman he wants but he is ready to settle down. Adam is told the beautiful pop princess Cristy Valor will be joining them on their tour on certain nights. He is excited to play with her but he didn’t think he would get these feelings for her. Adam and Cristy get to know each other and sparks start to fly. Will they be able to find the love that they have been looking for or will secrets ruin it all?

I have not read a book by this author yet, so when I noticed this book, I knew that I had to add it to my list of books to read. I love the way this author wrote the book. The wording made it feel as though I was in the story as well, not just reading it! The book was one that I read super quickly as I needed to know what was happening. I cannot wait to read more books by this author!!

This was really entertaining and well written. When you put the biggest rock band in the world and the biggest pop star on the same tour, crazy things are bound to happen. While this is the 4th installment in the Balefire series, it can be read as a stand alone. I am not typically one to go for Rockstar romances and I’m starting to think maybe I should start. Every character was a delight on the page and I really wish I had more of Christy’s snarkiness to devour.

This is the first book I read from this series. I didn’t realize it was apart of a series till after but it can be read as a standalone.
Adam plays the bass is the biggest rock band there is. Christy is a huge pop diva star. When Christy goes in your with the band, the chemistry is instant and boy is it hot! For me this story has an even balance of spice and plot. Christy has a past that her and her best friend try their best to keep hidden. Adam want more than just sex from Christy but she won’t let him come in. I’m very interested in going back to read the other band members stories!

Oohh I love a good rockstar romance so when I saw this one I quicky snapped it up – I didn’t realise however that it was the fourth book in this series but it didn’t matter as it was easily read as a standalone but did ignite my wanting to read about the others members of the band. The story was well written, dual POV which is my favourite – I love that you get to understand both characters and I felt like I really knew both Adam and Cristy really well by the end of this book. The chemistry between the two characters was really intense but it still felt believable. I think I pretty much fell in love with Adam as soon as I started reading about him. This really was a great read and one I would highly recommend – I look forward to reading the next and previous books in this series.

Hot For Me (The Balefire Series Book 4) by Tam DeRudder Jackson. I love this series and this book has become one of my favorites. It can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading the series. This is the story of Adam who is a bass player for a rock band and he is a hot rock star but he’s never really wanted to settle down until he meets Cristy. Cristy is a rock star on her own and loves to party like a rock star. When she is invited to go on tour with Adam’s band they have instant chemistry. Adam has never wanted to have a relationship with anyone until he meets Cristy but something about her intrigues him. He also feels like she is hiding something but with their chemistry he’s willing to take a chance. This is a fun, hot read that will keep you flipping pages late in the night.

Hot For Me is book #4 in the Balefire Series. It can be read as a stand alone. Hot For Me was the 1st book from this author I’ve read and it’s the 1st of this series I’ve read. It’s a long story but sooooo worth the read. I couldn’t put it down. Okay so I was forced to put it down a few times due to work and life but I definitely didn’t want to. The author gave the story great characters and a great storyline. Things got very hot & steamy quite a few times. There were a few times at the end I thought the book was ending then I turned the page and there was more. Definitely not a bad thing. It just surprised me a little. It sounded like the story was complete…. then….SURPRISE…a few more pages. Overall very enjoyable, entertaining, book. I must get my hands on the 1st three and I can’t wait for #5 to come out.

Christy Valor is a sexy pop star with a hidden past. Adam Tron is the bassist for one of the biggest rock bands, Balefire. Christy joins the band on tour, and things really heat up with her and Adam. I really enjoyed their chemistry and the story line. It made me wish I could actually watch them perform. I picked this book without realizing that it was fourth in a series, but I didn’t feel lost at all. I will definitely be going back to read the others! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rockstar Romances… gotta love them! And this one was a good one. Adam and Cristy are our main characters and I liked them a lot. They found love even when they were exactly looking for it and they had to work for it because it didn’t come easily. The past was knocking on their door and tried to throw everything out the window but they persevered and I really liked that about them. This is the 4th book in the series and each book in the standalone in the series that focuses on a different member of the band. I will have to go back and read the other three books in this series because I liked this authors writing style and I enjoyed this book. I would recommend this to anyone that like rockstar romances! Happy Reading!

This can be read as a standalone as each book is about a different member of the band.I truly enjoyed reading this Contemporary Rockstar Romance and had a hard time putting it down until finished. This is a story about Adam and Cristy she’s a diva who has just joined Balefire on tour and he’s the bassist. The chemistry between them absolutely sizzles its so hot. But what will happen if secrets are revealed? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Talisman is the first book The Talisman Series and is a Paranormal Romance that once you start reading there’s no stopping until you finish. There’s a lot going on in this story that is packed with Celtic mythology, magic , curses , gods and goddesses and so much more. This is a fairly new author to me and I look forward to seeing what other books they have written. There are a few twists that had me turning the pages trying to figure out what was going to happen next. The characters are relatable and fully developed and there is definitely chemistry between. There’s ja few steamy scenes that will have you turning the pages. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next..i can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Cristy and Adam are like gasoline and matches, their chemistry is palpable. She is a mega pop star with a past, and he is one of the stars of the rock band Balefire. Together they make more than fire! This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I must say she did not disappoint! I cannot wait to read more, I appreciate that I didn’t have to read the other books in the series first to understand what is going on, but I must say I definitely want to read the rest and see if they are truly a standalone series or if they all tie together like I suspect (even subtly).

I thought this book was well written. This is the first book I’ve read by this author. The story about Adam and Cristy started when Cristy was invited to tour with the guys of Balefire. Everyone seemed to welcome her with open arms especially Adam. The two of them hit it off right away and flirted like crazy. Adam isn’t like one of Cristy’s usual hookups during a tour. He had real feelings for her and she for him.
Cristy had a horrible past that no one would ever want to even think of let alone endure. The things she was subject to is disgusting. All at the hands of people who were supposed to protect her. Even with Cristy’s past, she is still the life of the party and knows how to have an awesome time no matter what she does.
While Adam and Cristy get closer and closer, Cristy’s past comes looming and she is scared of all the what ifs. Will Cristy let the boys of Balefire help her or will she do what she does best when the going gets rough and RUN?!?!

Wow, what a chemistry between the two main characters! I knew before starting this book it was going to be strong as that was evident even just from the description. But their connected and the chemistry between them can be felt on every single page. For me, it is this that truly carries this book along with watching them develop as the story progresses. I thought the overall story was well written and a great read. It is the fourth book in the series but can be easily read as a standalone. There is an easy flow to the story but the author has managed to introduce a good level of detail. This was a thoroughly enjoyable story and a great rock star romance.

This story is no different. I found this book to be well written and hard to put down. An engaging story about secrets and what those secrets could do to lives if found out. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into the story. They are strong, supportive characters that are not only relatable but add so much to the story. This is an easy and entertaining story that has great growth as well as chemistry. You don’t want to miss what happens with this story. I really enjoyed reading this romance story. Having read books from the author’s other series; I was so excited to get to check this book out. I had not read the first 3 books, but the author did an amazing job of recapping the relationships from the previous books in a way that was seamless with this story. The connection between Adam Tron and Cristy Valor was immediately electric and steamy. The character development of the characters as a couple and as individuals was well written. The author did a great job of setting up Cristy’s past and how it affects her life now in a way that you truly feel for her. The story definitely had some great twists and some seriously emotional scenes! If you are looking for a fun and steamy story, full of heart and wonderful characters, this is the book and series for you!

This is the first book of the Talisman series. In this series each warrior must find his talisman (or soulmate) by a certain time or they will be cursed with one of two fates. In this first book we meet Rowan and Alyssa. Rowan is a modern day warrior that has made a name for his family in their security firm when he meets Alyssa, a Phd student wanting to finish her dissertation on celtic history. After finding footprints in her house she calls in Rowan’s firm to help. Here is where the battles begin. Will Rowan convince her that she’s his savior or will he fall to the Morrigan and her horrible army? Great new series

I’m a first time reader of author Tam DeRudder Jackson, she is a fantastic writer. I’m a huge fan of celtic mythology (and all mythology) so i really enjoy this book. It has everything you’d wish for when reading mythology and way more. It also has steamy bits. This story has intrigued me from the beginning to end. Im looking forward to reading the other books by Tam DeRudder Jackson, The ones in this series and the others. All the dudes on the covers look mighty fine lol.

Tam DeRudder Jackson brings you into this love story. It was an easy to read book with characters you love. You feel the passion between Cristy and Adam. You become a part of the band like you are family. The spice level in Hot For Me was just right, giving you the feeling this is an everyday story.

Being a Greek Mythology lover, I wanted to read this book and find out about Celtic Mythology as it has Celtic Lore within it. This first book did not disappoint with its dashing modern-day warriors and the talisman, women who are fated to love them while giving them the strength to be true warriors. Though these women are not just fated mates, they are smart, strong women in their own right. Our main characters, Rowan and Alyssa, have such chemistry it almost sparks the pages in places. Will these two be able to connect in time so that they might help level the playing field in the war of good versus evil, or will Alyssa have too much trouble grasping the world she is learning that she is a part of? As time ticks down thanks to a curse by a hateful Goddess, we watch these two face granderous obstacles as Alyssa learns and comes to terms with the knowledge of her family history.
Tam DeRudder Jackson has written a paranormal adventure that has such descriptive details that I can visualize so much of this book. This is the first book I’ve read by her, but I can’t wait to read more about these modern-day warriors and the Gods they battle.

This a fast pace supernatural romance! I really enjoyed the writing style and the flow of the story. I loved the Celtic storyline and history. Alyssa is cautious but also trust her instincts. Rowan is patient and protective. So when the two of them meet trust is not there immediately. This story takes you on a whirwind of intense emotions. And of course what story would be complete without some unexpected plot twist. I am definitely looking forward to reading book 2 and finding out more about the characters in the series!
