MURDER OFF ROUTE 82 (Eve Sawyer Mystery Book 3) by Jane Suen. I LOVE this series and this read was no different. Its the 3rd book in the Eve Sawyer series but I think you can read it as a standalone. I prefer to read them all but that’s just me. Its the story of Eve Sawyer who has just solved a beach murder and is ready to get back in school. Eve is excited about getting back into her college classes. When a terrified mom comes to her to help her find her missing daughter Eve can’t resist. Once she starts digging she finds the girl’s boyfriend is also missing. Beginning her search she finds all kinds of mysteries along the way and maybe even have herself in danger from really dangerous people. Eve is such a fun character and she seems to never be able to stay out of these mysteries. Read this 3rd book to find out if Eve will be successful in finding the missing couple or if she’s too late?

Ember’s Secret (Solstice Quartet Book 1) by Catherine Peace. This book was amazing and I can’t wait to read the next. This is the story of Austin Garten who is a chef that has his own Food Show. He travels all over sampling food and learning about the different kinds of cuisines around the states. He’s almost getting bored with his job but when his RV breaks down in Casper, Wyoming in the mountains. When he meets Ember who owns a Maori Restaurant and he can’t stay away from her. He is trying to convince her to let him film his show at her restaurant and in the meantime sparks are flying between them. He knows she has secrets but thinks they aren’t that big of a deal. Once they get together Austin is convinced she could do or say anything and it wouldn’t change the way he feels. Will Austin stay once he find out Embers secret? Read Ember’s secret to find out!

Kissing Darkness (Dark Spell Series Book 5) by Isra Sravenheart. This book was a sit down and hold on to your hat kinda read. Once I started I couldn’t put it down. It is book 5 in the Dark Spell series but even though I haven’t read the previous books I caught on pretty quick. Its about Warlocks and Witches. Isra is a witch and she’s going to school for Warlocks and Witches. Isra was once friends with Everilda but something happened and Everilda lost all her powers and now she’s set on revenge. Astrid is a raven that is keeping a look out for Isra. There is also James who are planning on taking Isra down. Samuel has his work cut out for him to bring her to the Light. This is a story of Dark vs. Light and it keeps you guessing which way Isra is going to go. If you are craving a read that includes, romance, mystery and magic this is the read for you!

No Names to Be Given by Julia Brewer Daily. This book was amazing! Its not based on a true story but inspired by events that took place. The book is set in 1965 and takes place in a Maternity home hospital in New Orleans. Three women meet in this hospital and this is their story. This maternity home is the place they send unwed mothers to have their babies and then they are taken from the mothers and given to others to adopt. The mothers have no real choice. The women are not given any information about their children and are told not to ask. They have to live with this choice the rest of their lives. When someone threatens the three women who meet there and give birth on the same day secrets begin to come out and the now successful women could be ruined by this secret. Will the women ever be the same after these secrets come out and or will their lives blow up? This book is so full of emotions and is very tragic in ways. Do yourself a favor and read this amazing book!

The Web of Humanity by Maria Turchin. This is an amazing read about history, mystery and families. It is a deep thought provoking read and its best read slowly. Its the story of Anna Venu who is very intrigued by her Grandmother. Her grandmother has traveled from Berlin, to Austria and back to the US during WWII and many things happened during that time. Anna is frustrated because her grandmother refused to talk about it and her grandfather knew very little about it as well. Wanting to find out more Anna travels to Austria to see if she can find out more and boy does she. She finds out things she may not even want to know. When she finds a photograph she travels from Austria to Berlin to try to track down people in the photo that can maybe tell her more about her grandmother. What she finds out is a lot! This read is very deep and is best read slowly so that you won’t miss anything. Anna finds out things that may have been better left alone. This book will grab you and not let you go til the very end. Great historical read based on true events!

King Bastard (A Dark Sparrow Novel Book 6) by India Kells. I have loved this series and I am sad its over! India Kells is one of my go to authors and this book was as great as I expected it to be. This is story of Lazarus and man oh man, he’s the perfect book boyfriend! Lazarus (Oz) and his brothers have almost taken down their father and they think they have protected everyone close to them. The one missing link is Sasha. When Oz almost died, Sasha helped nurse him back to life and the one thing he didn’t expect was to grow feelings for her. Leaving her unprotected is the one thing their dad can hurt. The Chemistry between Oz and Sasha is off the charts and I couldn’t put it down once I started reading. Oz will do whatever it takes to protect Sasha and I mean anything. Will Oz be able to keep Sasha safe and will they finally let their walls down to be together? Read King Bastard to find out!

Priscida Finds Greatness by Constance Mays. This is a great kids book that I enjoyed with my nephew but I even enjoyed it. Its the story of Priscida who is an alley cat but he realizes that he’s so much more than that. The main concept of the story is to teach kids to find the good in all things. Priscida is an alley cat who goes on many adventures and my nephew giggled and laughed all thru it. He’s only 3 but he really enjoyed it and understood it. Priscida teaches us that we are all made up of good things and we can all do good things! I think kids and adults alike could learn from this book. Awesome kids book.

If you have kids from around 7-11 this is the perfect book for you and your kids.

This book was so good and it truly felt like I was in Poland during the 17th Century. The story begins when Oliwia is only 15 years old and she and her younger brother Filip are orphans. Oliwia is in charge of her brother and keeping them safe which is a big task for a 15 year old. Jacek is a noble winged Hussar who is on of the amazing horse borne warriors of their time. On a raid Jacek and his warriors come upon Oliwia and Jacek and decide to rescue them and take them back to the Castle Biaska. During Oliwia’s time at the castle she learns so much from the Lord and Lady about being a proper young lady. Over time Jacek finds himself enthralled by Oliwia and her blossoming beauty. She is a major distraction he doesn’t need. Will Jacek win the war as he is eventually promoted and has even more pressure on him. Will he and Oliwia make it work as future leaders and partners? Read this amazing book to go on the trip of a lifetime!

It’s not a book you can read lightly you really have to think about it and pay attention but that made it much more real to me. Its the story of the women in the Ciofani family who are from Italy and they use magic. I really enjoyed Annie and she was such a strong, independent woman who mad great strides in her life thru this book. Annie came out stronger than ever due to things she had to undergo. The writing in this book made me feel like I was in Italy and made me almost believe I had magical powers! The story has a lot of action and you will be amazed at how fast you turn the pages. Do yourself a favor and read this amazing novel about Italian women and their magical powers!

Its the story of Caspian Archer is a workaholic and millionaire. He is a CEO for his uncle’s companies and if he wants to keep that position he has to find his true love and get married and be married for at least a year. If he doesn’t comply with his Uncle’s wishes his whole world will come crashing down. When he goes to visit his Uncle he reconnects with his childhood friend Paisley. Paisley has been thru the wringer and is struggling in all aspects of her life but especially in her finances. Caspian takes advantage of the situation and offers Paisley money to pretend to be his Fiance and marry him. Paisley is so worried that she will develop feelings for Caspian after being with him a year and will be heartbroken. Will they survive a year of “Pretend” marriage or will one or both of them be heartbroken at the end?

LUKE (DEFAULT DISTRACTION #4) by A. S. Roberts. This is such a good series and I fall in love with each main character. In this book I fell in love with Luke who is in the band Default Distraction and who’s life is his little girl. Luke has made a lot of mistakes in the past and he feels like his troubles now are caused from those mistakes. When he decides to start over and in doing so he hires a nanny to help with his daughter. Luke is has decided he is going to concentrate on his band and daughter and that’s it. When he hires Nikki to be his nanny sparks fly immediately but they both are fighting it. Nikki is having the best time getting to know Brielle and Luke and they have formed a sort of family. Nikki has been fighting her attraction to Luke even though she feels that he feels the same. Will they risk their hearts on each other and try to be a real family. Read Luke to find out!

Broken Chains by Karina Kantas. If you know me you know I LOVE mafia book and this one was no exception. I loved every minute of it. This book is not for everyone because it is a dark romantic mafia book. Its the story of Liz who has been handed a crappy hard life but she has decided to make the most of it. She was singing in bars but decided to go to school and get a degree. As soon as she graduates she meets Alex and he offers her a job. It took him a few tries but she finally accepts the job not knowing what she’s getting into. Being a spy for the mob is very interesting and very crazy. Her first job she realizes she should have continued to sing. Liz is trying to come into her own and she’s realizing she can be very strong and rely on herself. There are some major triggers in this book so be prepared and also be ready to read all night long. It’s that good!

Thea has not had the best of luck with men so has decided to concentrate on her bakery that is until Benjamin Sweet walks into her bakery looking for something sweet. Ben is a handsome take charge kind of guy so when he see Thea he knows she’s something special. When he boldly asks her out Thea is taken back but she knows that she feels something for this guy. Its the story of Brekin Henderson who has moved back home only to have her Coach husband leave her for the head cheerleader. Brekin is broken hearted and defeated. One girls night and a drunken encounter with a hot guy named Griffin and she feels like she might be on the mend. She can’t get Grif out of her mind. Griffin has moved back home to help out his Grandma and dealing with the loss of his wife. She was his world and he’s not sure he can ever make it without her. As he gets stronger and asks Brekin to help him plan a party for his Grandma sparks begin to fly. Can Griffin let go of the memory of his wife to start a new relationship and can Brekin get over the trauma of her husband leaving her? Read this amazing contemporary story to find out!

Check In (Bobbins Sisters Series Book 2) by Debra Parmley. This book was amazing just like the first. I really recommend reading the first book because it helps you get to know the characters and the figure out the story line better. This is the story of Leann who has started a new job at the bank. Leann has been dealing with the recent stalker she had and has started dating a new guy, Len who is a police officer. Len is the perfect boyfriend, he checks in on her, is very protective and is very loving. When Leann doesn’t respond to one of his messages he finds out that she is in the midst of a bank robbery. Leann is used to challenges but this a new one. She is hiding and sneaks a call to Len to come rescue them. Will he be able to save her this time? This is a fast paced read that I finished in one sitting. Its a great read!

Caught in Midnight Shadows (The Caught Series Book 4) by Sharleen Scott. This book was amazing! I started reading and read until I was finished! I don’t know if I even breathed, it was that good! Its the story of Brant Bellamy who owns a cattle ranch and has sent his kids to their moms in another state so he can find out who killed his mom. Her death is all kinds of suspicious and he wants to know what happened. He travels to Oregon looking for someone to give him information on his mom and while there he meets Sharleen Scott a bartender that very much interests him. She’s beautiful and dealing with the death of her Aunt who was like a mom to her and some trauma from her past. Both of them getting over the death of someone they loved pushes them together when neither of them was looking for a relationship. Brant ends up thinking he has a stalker and Sharleen does too. Is someone looking for them to do them harm and will they find them before its too late? This book was so good I highly recommend it!

A Spell of Rowans by Byrd Nash. This book was amazing! I loved all the characters and the story itself could be a movie easy! Its the story of the Rowan children and their mother, the mean, selfish, horrible person that she was. Rachal Rowan is one of those women who should have never been allowed to have children but she did indeed have them. All of the Rowan children have special powers and Rachal used those powers for her own good. When Rachal dies the children all are breathing a sigh of relief the wicked witch is dead! But Rachel has to go home to Grimsby to take care of everything and when she does Pandora’s box of secrets are opened. Not only are they having to take care of physical things but mentally they are still dealing with all the damage that was done! This book deals with a lot of triggers so be prepared if you read it. I highly recommend it!

Stranded (Cetacea Chronicles Book 1) by Feather Chelle. This is the best little book about a little family of dolphins. It helps to teach kids about family values, how to work together and about love! The family of dolphins get stuck on an island so they have to work together and figure out how to get back home. They realize that they are all equally important in figuring out how to work together. This book is so sweet and so educational. You really learn a lot about the Ocean and Dolphins in this book as well. I really fell like adults along with kids can learn from this book. Its a really great read!

Its the continuing story of Enzo and Sofia who have known each other for a long time. They are both involved in the Mafia lifestyle so they have a lot in common but when tragedy strikes they are split apart. Sofia has moved on and is now doing her dream job of designing clothes. Enzo knows that he has always put Sofia in danger but has done everything he can to protect her. Now Sofia is told she is in danger again. Sofia has always been in love with Enzo and she will do anything she can for him. Will their love tear each other even further apart and will they end up paying for it with their lives? Reece Brockbank found CC in the middle of his fence in a fancy car he takes care of her like no one ever has. When CC turns Reece’s home into a Christmas Wonderland he has new feeling he’s never had before. He sees in her something that is missing from his life and now its right in front of her eyes. Nadia’s new house is a money pit so what she really needs is a repairman. She had a guy that could fix her house but she made the mistake of having a one night stand with him. Luke is a divorced dad and a builder who is very serious about everything in life. He can’t get the dark haired beauty out of his thoughts but he knows she doesn’t want a relationship and that’s what he wants. He’s trying hard not to obsess over her but he can’t control it. Nadia tells him he can fix her house but he needs to not mention their one night stand at all! Will Luke be able to knock down her walls and get her to try at a relationship? Its the story of Acheron a vulture shifter who feels a very strong pull to the city that he’s forbidden to go to. When he gets there he realizes its Errapal. Errapal is a nurse to the dying and I know I’ve been sent to help him. My attraction to Errapal is out of this world and I can’t deny it even though Vulture Shifters are forbidden to take a mate. As they spend more and more time together Acheron is more in love with Errapal than ever. Can they fight society and win to be able to be together? This is a great Paranormal romance that is steamy as can be. Its also very short so if you are like me you will fly through it in no time! Read this amazing story to find out what happen!

Allie had previously used Elite Bodyguard service for her protection but she thinks they have gotten rid of the threat so she cancels them. What she doesn’t know is Nick is providing her with bodyguards anyway. Nick has always been a love them and leave them kind of guy but something about Allie makes him want to change. When Nick and Allie are together the chemistry is crazy hot but Allie has sworn off relationships due to her history. Nick is as determined to break down her walls but she is just as determined to not give in. Will Nick be able to keep Allie from getting caught up in the trafficking ring and will he be able to break down her walls. I love Via Mari and this book is just another amazing read from her!

Red’s Peril Part 1: The making of an MC Prez (Satan’s Devils MC Vegas Chapter) by Manda Mellett. I love Manda Mellett so it was no surprise that I loved this book. I really enjoyed seeing bits and pieces of Red in the other books and then finally getting to hear his whole story. Red is a pretty simple person. He doesn’t want for much just a sunshiny place to ride his bike and maybe even belong to something or someone. He’s had a rough bringing up but he has worked hard being a mechanic to owning his own shop to being President of the Club. Red is a lot different than a lot of the other guys in the club. He’s honest, hard working, and doesn’t take any crap so that endears him to some and sours him to others. Red had a short lived romance at one time but it fizzled out and he’s still looking for that love of his life. He has pretty much decided its his fate to live life alone. This book can be read as a standalone but I always enjoy them much more when I read the whole series! I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

Surprise Baby for Mr. Fischer (Curvy Ever After Book 2) by Stephanie Harrell. This is such a good fun read. Its the story of Harper who owns a refurbished antique store. Her love in life is traveling all over collecting pieces for her store. One wild weekend she meets Lincoln who is an actor. He actually saves her life from drowning. After that its a weekend full of wild sexy fun. When Harper starts feeling bad she takes a pregnancy test on the off chance and its positive! She does the opposite of what everyone wants her to do and decides to keep the baby. She doesn’t expect to see Lincoln again so she doesn’t worry about telling him. So when he returns 4 months later and runs into his weekend flame and she’s 4 months pregnant he realizes he’s going to be a dad. Will Lincoln do the right thing and will Harper even let him. Come Back Tomorrow (Embrace Tomorrow Duet Book 1) by Amy Argent. Wow y’all, this book tore me up! If you have read “The Fault in our Stars” and loved it this is right up your alley. Its the story of Will who is dying from a terminal cancer and he’s pretty much given up on life. Tori is a psychologist at the hospital so when her friend Jenny the nurse asks her to meet a patient who doesn’t get many visitor’s she automatically thinks of Will. Will is not really receptive and Tori is stumped because she’s never had a patient totally turn down a visitor. Will is just ready to die because this is not his first round with cancer and this time its super aggressive. Will is just tired and doesn’t want to fight anymore. The more Tori tries to break down his walls it finally works and they fall in love. This book will have you all in your feels and you will fall in love with Will and you will be rooting for him! Shadows of Doubt (A Crawford Mystery) by Merissa Racine. I LOVE this series and this book was amazing! It can be read as a standalone but I really suggest reading the first book beforehand to get a feel for all the characters. Its the continuing story of Lauren Besoner, a court reporter who was wrongly charged in a judge’s murder last book. Lauren is working the biggest trial that her hometown in Wyoming has ever had. Lauren really has a gut feeling that the suspect is not guilty so of course she wants to do her own investigation. As Lauren is investigating she uncovers some stuff in her past she would much rather have been left hidden. Will Lauren be able to figure out who the killer is or will she end up losing not only her dream job but also her life? This series is such a fun, mysterious, who done it set of books. I can’t wait for the next one!
