Writing has always been a dream of mine, and finding great books like this might actually help that dream come true one day. The Authorpreneur Yellowpages by Winnifred Tataw has it all in the palm of your hands. You can learn about different types of editors, book publishers, marketing, and subscriptions authors might find helpful. To have all of this information already laid out for you is amazing and will definitely save anyone hunting for these services time.

I’m inspired by individuals such as Winnifred Tataw who, instead of hoarding all the information they’ve learned, would rather share it and help other people save time and effort so they can focus on their goals. I truly find this to be a must read for anyone thinking of writing, publishing, or even doing cover art. I’m sure even a seasoned author could find interesting information within this book. I highly recommend it to anyone in the field or thinking about writing.

I have always been an avid reader, and have always dreamed of becoming an author one day. So, when I came across this book, I decided it was a MUST READ. I am a librarian/book worm by day, but dreamer by night. I have a handy notebook for writing. This book has enticed my creative side, and magnified my desire to become an author. While I know it is not an easy journey, I have people that will support me. I also have an amazing new resource to help guide me through the process. I am looking forward to putting the steps to the test. As a librarian, I had a basic understanding of some of the information about books, but I love how this book dove into the deep end to give me a better understanding of the process of becoming an author.

Being a writer of any sort is an ambition you hear of many but how do they do it? Tataw has put together such insightful and thorough details of so many parts of becoming an author and getting the word spread of the author’s wonderful work. Between my daughter and myself, aspiring writers, it was great to see a laid out checklist of the process and resources of where to go for specific services. This is a staple tool in our library for many years to come, whether it is recommending this work to other aspiring writers/authors and within my family. With such a guided map of the process and the publishing industry, you never know what lengths inspiration may take you.

I love how informative and supportive this book is. It is exactly as you would expect from the title and the description. I found it to be a really interesting read, insightful yet informative. This is completely different from anything I have read by this author but I enjoyed seeing a different side. For anyone looking to published a book I would highly recommend this one.

If you are a writer hoping to get published doing a single project or multiple projects at once this book is the one stop resource you need to help you create a successful timeline and goal. With so many resources at our disposal today it can be hard to know which ones are credible and which ones are taking advantage of will be authors. This takes the guess work out of which ones you can trust. This is a wonderful resource that all budding authors should have. It will help you avoid costly mistakes and produce your most amazing self on paper!

The Authorpreneur Yellowpages is an easy and helpful resource for those wanting to publish or seeking new resources. She breaks down the “yellowpages” into editing, formatting, and marketing categories. I picked this up because I’m interested in writing and possibly self-publishing, but I still need help with the moving parts. So you are not good with graphics or the marketing part, there is a group of different companies you can contact. She gives contact information and breaks down what services each company can offer. This is a great way to help people find the assistance they need. I was curious about this because I have read some of her fiction books. I am glad I stumbled across this invaluable resource.

I cannot begin to say enough good things about this book! It is an invaluable resource for anyone who is looking for book and publishing services. Each page is packed with information and includes information for cover designers, editor services, book marketing services, beta reader services, author support services, and so very much more.

The author has included not only contact information but also costs associated for the services she lists. The book is laid out in an easy-to-read format and can easily be read in one sitting. It is a quick read, yet it is jam packed with information. This is an invaluable resource for anyone looking to make their dreams of publishing a book become a reality! I highly recommend this book!

This is a detailed listing of several people in the book world but it is not at all an exhaustive list. This is a good reference and a good starting point.

This is a different book for me to read but I’m trying to branch out. I chose to read this non-fiction book because I have a family member who is interested in building his business as an author.

This book is very informative for those who are wanting to branch out into the work of authorship. This is very much set up like a yellow page directory is, chocked full of information on various facets of writing and publishing. There is a checklist, a section describing the publishing process, talk of book covers with a list of resources for designers, and editing services. Other areas include publishing services, black owned and operated businesses, marketing tools, and how to obtain freelance work. Lastly, there is advice on how to find beta readers and how to/why to use an ARC (advanced reader copy). The author of this book ends with encouragement for the future writer.

If you’re looking to get into the world of writing/publishing, this book would be a great resource to have handy!

Tataw has created a great resource, especially for writers who may just be starting out. Not only does Tataw list different companies for varying services, she also provides detailed explanations for why an author may need those services. I was also impressed with the checklist she provided at the beginning of the book for authors to use to see what services they might need so they could just go right to those pages. I think this would be a great resource for all writers and authors, but I really think it would be great for any indie writer/author who may just be starting out and maybe a bit lost in the wide world of everything that is writing.

This is a very detailed and nicely though out guide to help any author looking to publish their works. The book goes through many aspects, such as, editors, publishers, checklists, marketing and everything in between. I like that this author included, after each section, companies or people who could help in that particular area. There are lists of editors, publishers and more. The amount of detail that went into listing each of these contacts and the description of each area of getting a book published is phenomenal. I see this helping many aspiring authors in their road to success. It is also nice to see authors helping other authors get their works noticed.

Being a writer myself, it was a no-brainer for me to check out this book when I came across it. What I didn’t know is how helpful it would be! The only complaint I have is that it doesn’t format the best on Kindle all the time, particularly if you are using a phone, but that was a minor inconvenience when looking at all the valuable information this gave to me! Reading this book was like talking to a seasoned author, full of valuable information and things I never would have thought about. Reading this book has definitely helped me prepare for publishing a book, which is something I hope to do in the near future. Definitely recommend all beginning authors to read this book!

The Authorpreneur Yellowpages is a one stop shop for information on resources available for authors who need help with book and publishing services.
What I like is the community of authors who take their time to put together books like this to help other authors or upcoming authors on their way. I am sure there are many, many writers out there who wished they had something like this to help them out.
Need an editor? It’s in there. Need that one special look to entice readers pick a cover designer. Need someone with marketing services this is where you will find them. Winnifred has taken all that information and more and put it in this directory just to help you.
You never know which one of these services may be the one who will help you to become a best seller.
