The God: A Greek Myth Fantasy Romance (Her Three Immortals Book 2)The God: A Greek Myth Fantasy Romance by Hazel Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

These books have really sucked me in by the ever so talented Hazel Storm! THE GOD is the second book in the HER THREE IMMORTAL series so I would highly recommend that you go get book one, THE DON before you dive into this one. That one is just as fab, but we pick up right where we left off in that one so you may be a tad left in the dark if you don’t start there. These books take one of my favorite subjects of Greek Mythology and really plays a wonderful spin on it that just is done so wonderfully that I can’t help but love every single moment I spend with the characters. The romance is done well and believable so that is always a plus for me as well. I loved this addition and will definitely be back for the next book that looks like it is due out very soon!

This is the second book in the Her Three Immortals series. This book is giving me book hangover 🤕… in a good way.

Also, if you liked Beauty and the Beast, I truly think this is a GREAT retelling with an Underworld and Alice in Wonderland twist. I didn’t catch on to this until after I finished the book and started thinking about the characters.

The Caterpillar 🐛
The Mirror 🪞
The Shadow 👤
The Clock 🕰 Tower

Venessa has the quirkiest and cutest inner monologue AND she’s SEXXY 🥰

Grey(Hades) has TOTALLY grown on me and has gone from Beast to Man 🥵

Oh and the Evil 👿 Underworld Queen 👑 who has a dark secret

Come on! This is fairytale book 📚 in the making! But with Smutt 😘🍆🙏🏻

The God was a really good read. It was enthralling and kept me interested throughout the whole book. I have one complaint though. The sex scenes. I don’t understand how someone has transcend realms and have dream sex like that. That was very weird to me. But besides that strange occurrence throughout I really enjoyed this novel! And I think my favorite character so far in this book was Gorgonita. She was so awesome and I thought hilarious as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this sequel and can’t wait to read the next!

I want more! I just finished reading The God by Hazel Storm and I can’t tell you how much I love this world she created! I can’t wait till book 3 comes out and I’ll be really disappointed when these stories end, though they will get added to my read again rotation.
The God picks up right where The Don leaves off. It’s also a bigger exploration of Vanessa and Grey’s dynamic together. I don’t want to spoil book 1 for anyone looking for a new series to read. You need to read both and in order!
Throughout this book, I begin to fall more in love with Grey and why he is the way he is. Again there’s a lot of characters but it all works, every character fits. Hazel Storm may very well be my new romance author.
Any questions left unanswered from book 1 will be answered throughout this book, and more will come to fruition. I think the best part is these books so far take place within the same month that has yet to end.

The God is Book two of the Her Three Immortal Series by Hazel Storm. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and can’t wait to read the third book! The men are described with perfection and the story itself is just great. Vanessa ends up in Hell, with Grey, but he doesn’t want her there. Little does she know the reason why until she keeps spending time, making friends, visiting relatives, and having a great adventure to save a life and keep her own. Raef is still in love with her and working on finding her lineage to see what is so interesting about her. Aroz is busy keeping his mom entertained on other people instead of Vanessa. A lot happens and it is all detailed so perfectly! Please read the Don, then this book, and onto the next! 🙂

I was looking forward to this book and was not disappointed. Vanessa is now in the Underworld and abandoned by Grey in his penthouse. She becomes fast friends with the daughter of Medusa who helps her see her brother Piper, her mom, and Raef in the Overworld. Vanessa finds herself attracting the attention of gods, creatures, sons of gods, and many more. She is trying to save the life of a distant relative which causes many twists and turns all the while, trying to stay under the radar of the Queen of the Underworld. This is the one person she has been warned about. If you loved book one you will love the continuing story of Vanessa and Grey.

Gods above and below 😍😍😍😍

I sped through this book. This is the second in the series and literally picks up where the last one left off. I thought the first book had me hooked, the second one has me obsessed. I need the third one like yesterday. The plot focuses harder on Vanessa and Grey this go-round. I love how she is literally the only splash of color in his life. The only complaint that I have is that I read it so fast and now how to wait for the last book to be released.

This is the second book in the Her Three Immortals series. I love the support characters in this book, a mirror with an attitude that can let you see loved ones and a pillow that is a caterpillar that eats everything. Vanessa signs a contract with the Don of the Underworld to give up her life to save her brother. She didn’t think about the people left behind that would mourn her so deeply. Including her boyfriend, who is also a brother to Grey, the jerk of the Underworld. She lands in Grey’s apartment who doesn’t want her there.
Vanessa is very caring woman who is trying to get a handle on the Underworld. Grey has a soul connection to Vanessa that he fights hard against. I love how open Vanessa is to all the weird things in her new world. I really like this series and the ending leave me wanting the next book soon!

The God (Her Three Immortals, #2)The God by Hazel Storm
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The God by Hazel Storm is the second book in the Her Three Immortals series, and it is to die for. (See what I did there?) This second installment picks up right where the first one left off. Vanessa has been cast down to the Underworld, and Grey would rather her not be there – except she’s pretty much stuck in his penthouse in Elysium. The tension between the two is captivating. Now, I usually don’t mention how awesome character names are, but for some reason the names of these characters just make them pop off the page. Vanessa, Grey, Gordonita, Aroz, Raef…Read it for yourself and you’ll see what I mean. These names are so cool! When a character’s name is just as unique as their character is written, it just helps build that vision in my head that much more. This book is engaging and vibrant and left me wanting more, so it’s a good thing there’s another one coming. I recommend reading the first installment, as well, in order to get the full experience.

A kiss to seal a deal to save your brother’s life. Seems simple enough. Until you end up in the Underworld with Grey, the Don of the Underworld who leaves you alone in Elysium. Vanessa isn’t sure what to do next. Her man Raef is alive and she’s well…dead. This story is a gripping read with amusing characters and a unique storyline that grabs you and holds tight until the end. I read this book cover to cover in one day! Would definitely recommend! Don’t forget to check out the other books in the series!

This book! THIS BOOK! Gosh I enjoyed it so so much! The world building and the characters in here are phenomenal! My character list and world info is ever expanding. This story really took me along for a ride! It seems to be sort of a reverse harem anyway that is what is hinted at. Sadly I would have missed out on an amazing story since I usually pass on those types. So I am glad I gave it a go since I devoured the book.

Secondary characters really keep me on my toes. I am figuring out what the purpose is of each just as Vanessa is. I love that! We see some characters from book one in her and meet quite a few new ones. Some good and some not so good.

Overall this is an outstanding story! I enjoyed book one but this one really brought a lot together. Plus the world is perfectly described so I can picture it right along with Vanessa. I highly recommend but suggest you read book 1 first for total enjoyment.

I am eagerly looking forward to the next book.

This is the second book in the series. Being that this is the second book, I highly recommend you read the first book as you will not get as much enjoyment of the story. This book has an exciting plotline and characters. This book picks up right where the first book left off. The characters are sizzling hot and you can let your imagination run wild with Hazel Storm’s descriptive writing. Vanessa is in a bit of trouble as she sold her soul to the Don of the Underworld, Grey. That was not his choice as he does not want her in his penthouse. Then there is Raef who is left behind to deal with her mother and brother on earth. Her life is just as complicated in life and now in her death. I found that the descriptive writing in this book outdoes Hazel Storm’s writing in the first book. I know I kept turning the pages and I could not put this book down until I completed this story. I highly recommend this series so far and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Being dead sure comes with it’s share of surprises, including two new links. One to Mortal Raef in the Overworld, and the second to Grey-Don of the Underworld. The very man she kissed to seal a deal in order to save her brother’s life in exchange for her own. Vanessa’s soul has apparently been sent to Elysium, and there Vanessa will unmask the enemy who has been focused on destroying her. On the way she will also make many new and strange friends.
As someone who supports ‘non-traditional relationships’, it was extremely refreshing to read a book that centered around relationships that are defined by how much love you have within you to give. I enjoyed this book more than its predecessor, which is hard to believe because that was an extremely enjoyable read as well. I can’t wait to her next book in the series!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Vanessa Mann was whisked away to the Underworld when she made a deal with the Don of the Underworld to save her brother’s life from cancer. Covered is god dust from Cupid, or Aroz’s arrow, Vanessa hasn’t succumbed to the love dust because the first person she can in contact with was Grey.

The Underworld is a dreary grey place…literally nothing has color. Until Aroz shows Vanessa that she can pull the color out of objects and return them to their color. Vanessa does this with her favorite coat.

On the day after her arrival, there is a chomping sound coming from the couch. The fuzzy little thing keeps telling her “I’m yours!” After some research, Vanessa realizes it is a caterpillar. And it stays hungry…eating anything in its path.

With Gordonita, the magic mirror’s reassurance, Vanessa decides to try to go out into the city of Elysium. She then finds out that she can’t pay the fee and is stuck in Grey’s penthouse. She learns a much more important piece of information with the arrival of the ferryman, Charles.

The Judges put Vanessa in Grey’s penthouse. What is her purpose for being there? And if she can achieve her purpose will they let her return to the Overworld?

This book picks up where the first book leaves off…Vanessa has been flung into the Underworld with Grey. Grey doesn’t want her there and she is not sure what to do about that. As she is navigating her new life, she finds that things are not as they seem…and there seems to be more to her than meets the eye.

She is finding there are ways to communicate with Raef and Aroz. And she is still sorting through her feelings for Grey because she shouldn’t care what he thinks…right?!? But, as strange events start happening around her, she learns that there are other things at play here…and she just might be the way to fix it. But, can she do what it takes to make her world better? Or is she destined to spend eternity in such a drab place? (You have to read it to find out)

I enjoyed reading this book. The author has a way of describing the world in such a way that you feel like you can picture it. There are still a lot of unanswered questions (like what secret is their Mother holding on to)…so I’m hoping more will be explained in the next book.

I LOVE LOVE LOVED this book! This series!! This is book 2 and boy it does NOT disappoint. You pick up after where book 1 left off and I recommend that you do read book 1 before diving into book 2. Can I say…..this story is truly fantastic. Mystery, Love, Lust and a fabulous talking mirror I just loved. You meet interesting characters. My heart broke when Vanessa does realize when she is now in the underworld, her choices impacted so many who loved her. I realize she wanted to save her brother, but the impact she had tore at my heart strings. Grey does not want Vanessa in the underworld with him, Raef loves Vanessa and Aroz…he still is a tricky one. I dont want to give to much away, but I highly recommend this book and series! The Ending!! I need book 3 ASAP!

A great follow up to book one. After a one way ticket to hell in trade for her brother’s life, Vanessa finds herself in close quarters with the Don of the Underworld; Grey. Despite her location, she soon finds out she is not alone and makes friends and even finds family. This book is fast paced and easy to read and the characters are relatable.

I loved the fact that this book had so many twists in the plot that you didn’t know what was coming. The ending of this book will leave you wanting more.

I love where this series is going! I would definitely read these books in order, as you would be missing out on many details that I think are needed to understand the story. Elysium honestly sounds like a fun time, well once Vanessa can get some color back into it. I think its sweet she gets to reconnect with some family members that have already gone, and meet new family she didn’t know she had. Grey is a big tool and doesn’t treat her the best ones they get to Elysium but Vanessa, with her sweet and amazing self can change that. I am still concerned for her and Raef’s relationship and wondering when Aroz will come into play. I can’t wait until the next book to see what kind of drama comes next. I have a feeling we are going to see Grey’s mother, who sounds like a total B word, come in and try to ruin everything.

This one is just as addicting as the first book in the series. In this one we continue with Vanessa and Grey. Grey doesn’t want her in the underworld. He tries to keep his distance from her because he thinks if he doesn’t he’ll stray from his 200 year abstinence. Vanessa struggles with leaving her lover, Raef. We get to watch Vanessa learn and make her way into the underworld. This one ends on cliffhanger, cannot wait for the next book.

Vanessa is so incredibly funny. Picking up right where we we left off in The Don, Vanessa finds herself in Elysium with a not too happy Grey. While she finds new companions, she navigates the judges’ intent in bringing her there and tries to avoid drawing the attention of Grey’s mother, the Queen of the Underworld. Ultimately leading to a great setup for the next installment. I can’t wait.

The God is book 2 in Hazel Storm’s Her Three Immortals series. I loved book 1 and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on book 2.
Vanessa is back and giving Grey a run for his money! There is so much going on but I loved diving into the continuation of this story.

After her appearance in the underworld, Grey leaves her alone in his Penthouse telling her that she doesn’t belong there. But she doesn’t have anywhere else to go.
Grey is doing what he can to keep her at arms length. He knows that if he lets himself get to close his vow to abstain will not last.

My heart breaks for the situation that Raef is in, missing the girl that he loves.
I want to throttle Grey for being so rude. And I haven’t come to a firm conclusion yet for how I feel about Aroz.
What I do know, is that Vanessa is coming out of her cocoon, if you will, and is amazing.
Who will feel threatened and how will they react?

5 out of 5 stars

The God is book 2 in Her Three Immortals series written by Hazel Storm follows on from the first book The Don we continue with Vanessa and Grey. The characters are great and strong minded and the way they play of each other is awesome. This is a sexy paranormal reverse-harem romance, with a very captivating storyline that I enjoyed a lot…
Vanessa has sold her soul to the don of the underworld and now she is stuck alone in his penthouse and it would be all good but Grey stormed off because he doesn’t want her there.
Right before Grey whisked her to the underworld Aroz shot one of his arrows at her and missed now she is covered in gold dust. But she doesn’t feel a thing she definitely doesn’t love Grey.
Can Grey and Vanessa overcome their obstacles. Can Vanessa get back to Raef or will she be stuck? All three gods are jot why should Vanessa choose..
I highly recommend this book/series…

I was once again hooked from the first page in this the second book of this series. I really love how the author has written unique characters and keeps the story unpredictable. I like how there is just the right amount of drama to twist into the romance.

I love the chemistry between the characters and how Mom causes trouble. I can totally relate to the no one is good enough for my boy perspective of mom and the I’m the Goddess attitude. I really like how the author has brought the characters together and how the drama is created and keeps the story fresh and grabs the reader. I cannot wait for the next one.

I wasn’t sure when I started this series whether I would like it not being a huge paranormal fan but I can honestly say I think this is one of my favourite series so far this year! The characters are great, it’s steamy, sexy and a whole lot more! I love the multiple POV’s in the story, makes it seem more rounded and I feel like I know all of the characters so much better. We start off this book right where we ended book one – which is HUGE for me as a reader. There is no backtracking or second-guessing a scene that we may have missed. Vanessa is acclimating to the afterlife and being stuck in Grey’s top-floor penthouse. She meets Gorgonita who is her ticket to keeping track of her family and how they are doing after her death. She meets PK, who could LITERALLY eat anyone out of house and home, but seems so adorable I don’t think that I would mind. Add in the surprise elements of Aroz, a long-lost soul, and some family reunions, and this book was EVERYTHING I didn’t know that I needed. I cannot wait for Hazel’s next installment for this series.

The God (Her Three Immortals, #2)The God by Hazel Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Vanessa Maan is dead and at twenty four, that is pretty young, but she did it with good intentions, she sold her soul to Grey, the Don of the Underworld so that her brother could survive, a contract she sealed with a steamy kiss in the hospital car park, but when they come up for air, they are both in Grey’s apartment and are covered in gold dust, neither of them can understand why she was judged and sent there, but Grey is the most shocked of all, but that makes his mood terrible and he is more grouchy than usual. As they keep to their thoughts, Vanessa asks to see her brother to make sure that Grey held up his half of the deal, this is where she is handed a mirror with a lady’s face on the front, plus a lot of snakes for hair, he explains how to use it and then abruptly tells her to wash off the gold dust and to leave his penthouse before storming off to complete some business, Vanessa is taken aback by his rudeness, but isn’t overly surprised about it either, so she takes a look around the penthouse looking for the shower. While she is doing this, she notices that everything is in shades of grey, including her, so when the mirror starts a conversation about it’s capabilities and as the conversation flows between them, Vanessa finds out that she is called Gorgonita and that she was cursed by the Gods into her current form, Vanessa finds that they get on well too and it is nice that there is someone she can talk to in her current predicament, Gorgonita also explains briefly about the reason behind all the grey and would you believe it, it is because of Grey.

When she eventually finds the bathroom, she works out to use the shower and while she is in there, she has a visitation from another God who uses the dust to make his presence known and felt, as he does this, Vanessa is told that she can bring the colour back to the Underworld and she starts this with herself, once she is all dust free and feeling a little better about things, she goes for a nap after talking to Gorgonita, but just as she is about to lie down, the pillow under her head starts to purr, this freaks her out a little, especially when it unrolls itself and starts to eat the furnishings and saying that it is hungry. As Vanessa and Gorgonita try to figure out why it is here and why it is so big, Gorgonita reveals that she can order room service, so she does this and feeds the hungry caterpillar its usual fare, all after bringing its colour back. The caterpillar curls up on the sofa when it is done and Vanessa decides to do the same, however, she is happy to find that Raef joins her in her dreams just like before and the next day, she feeds her caterpillar and decides to head out and explore Elysium, however, when the Elevator won’t let her out, she is stumped, so decides to do a bit more research and discover as much as she can about her situation and why she is in the top level of the highest building there.

Meanwhile, Grey is back in the Overworld and carrying on his soul gathering, but leaving Vanessa is something he didn’t think would affect him this much and he doesn’t want to think about what the consequences of this may be, or to think of her at all, he is a God after all and has been strong for two hundred year, why should now be an issues? As both Vanessa and Grey try to figure out what is going on separately and Vanessa tries to navigate her new world and all its quirks, why is life so complicated after death, surely it should be easier than this? This is a paranormal romance with a twist where things are not as they seem and temptation lies around every corner.

The God is the second installment of Her Three Immortals by Hazel Storm and I loved it just as much as I loved the first installment. Once again we are thrown straight into a wonderful story, with a great plot line, and fantastic characters. This particular tale is told from multiple points of view, making the story all the more intriguing. While this paranormal romance has me biting at the bit to read the final installment in the series this one was definitely worth waiting for. So if your looking for a great new series to read then I highly recommend this one.
