Reign by Via Mari a sublime five-star read. This is number three in the Larussio Legacy series and they can all be read as stand-alone, but I have to admit I have loved the series, its deep, seductive and dashing with some amazing characters wrapped into it. Giovanni is such a strong character; he just has this manner about him that sucks you in and doesn’t want to spit you out until he’s ready and not before. The building of the story is some of the best I have ever come across it’s a slow burn, but not too slow, the timing is just perfect to unravel the story so the reign is long, steady, evenly paced and dropping at just the right time. This story will bring you to your knees, do not miss this series as it is sublime.

5 stars! This is the 3rd book in the series, it can be read as a standalone, but take it from me, I read this book first and missed out on a lot of detail and the formation of relationships. I got the gist of it, but I wish I would have read the others first, I will now have to go back and read them since the series is definitely worth it. I love reading romance within the Italian mob style books and this one was awesome. I loved all the drama, action, romance and crazy that this story had to offer. Serena and Giovanni are a great couple, I really enjoyed seeing them interact together. Serena is independent and strong willed and Gio has never had that in a woman, especially in his line of work. Serena will do anything to keep her family and Gio safe, so she assumes the best option is to leave them all to lure the kidnappers to come after her. I love that Gio will stop at nothing to keep her safe and protects her from everything, and how his family also loves her so much as to protect her like one of their own. I thought Serena would annoy me and be more like a needy damsel in distress type, but she is the opposite and her ramblings are just funny to read. I really can’t wait to see what comes next, it looks like there may be a little something going on with Salvatore and a certain nurse? I can only hope!

Reign is the third book in The Larussio Legacy series from Via Mari. I would personally recommend that you read all the previous books and in order before diving into this one, as this is a continuation well from them. We find Gio and Serena are still struggling with her security and the usual difficulties that accompany the mafia family. I personally enjoy mafia romance novels and this happens to be at the top of my list for favs in the genre. I love the suspense that Via Mari builds and even more the added romance and steam is enough to keep my fanning myself the whole time. Via really does a great job of including sexy scenes but not going to that point of porn or unbelievable stuff which I really enjoy. I am excited to see what we will get in the next installment. I am sure there will be even more intrigue and suspense mixed with the right amount of sass and sexy times.

Reign was another great book in the Larussio Legacy series. This mafia romance will pull you in, take you on a ride with the twists and turns, then leave you loving Gio and Serena even more. The connection between Gio and Serena is powerful and steamy. Via Mari always seems to have me addicted to her characters and her writing that I can’t wait to see what she will write next.

Having read the previous books of these series, (which I loved), this one put a more interesting spin on the life of mafia bosses making tough calls. The world building reminds me of “The Godfather” in theme. The love story between Giovanni and Serena is steamy but also a full-fledged romance plus the fact that action surrounds the life and death choices that surround their life. This will leave your heart racing with the love scenes, action, and the whole book is a gem!

I loved reading the book Reign (The Larussio Legacy Book 3) by Via Mari, It is a romance story that includes suspense, danger, passion, and steamy romance. I love the characters of Giovanni Larussio and Serena Morett. Serena is a strong, intelligent, and independent woman. She has fallen for Giovanni however doesn’t always follow the rules to keep her safe. She is coming to realize just what falling for a future mob boss means. Giovanni is a man who is totally in love with Serena. There is no doubt in his mind that she is his. He is determined to keep her safe, even when she at times makes decisions that make her a greater target. What does the future hold for Serena and Giovanni? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. It is also a story that has steamy romantic scenes that will make the temperature in the room rise. Reading this series, I have grown to care about Giovanni and Serena. They are a couple who deserve to have happiness. I also enjoy reading about many of the additional characters who are friends and relatives of Giovanni and Serena. I have read many books by this author and I have always looked forward to the next book that she writes. She has a wonderful way of making you feel the emotions of the characters and making them come alive on the pages. I loved this book. I have read all of this author’s books, they just keep getting better and better. I loved how each of her books built on the previous one. This is the third book in this series and I highly suggest reading the previous books in the series to help enhance your enjoyment of this series. This is a well written story that is written with heart and soul. The characters made the story pop off the pages as they bring their lives to life. In this story we get to see Giovanni and Serena. Giovanni is the next in line to take over the casino and resort. Serena is also the love of his life. He must learn that life has challenges and throw you curveballs even if they mean life and death. I’m a huge fan of Via Mari and definitely a fan of this series! Via Mari knows how to hook you with every single book! Rise had all the elements that I love in a book. It had suspense, drama, action, and just the right amount of steam! I completely fell in love with Gio and Serena. His family is a powerful mafia family where her family has suffered under his family’s rule. Their chemistry will sizzle the pages but will their love be enough to survives his enemies?
Via Mari knows how to write a book. I have read many book by her but this series completely has me hooked and might be my favorite to date!

What a brilliant series i have loved every second of this novel which is packed full of suspense, romance , drama, passion, action and so much more! The character’s are so meant to be together even through there drama you just want to smack them at the back of the head just so they see what they have, but the storyline isn’t that easy. The saga continues, we get to know Giovanni and Serena better and watch their relationship develop, grow and change from beginning to end.
There are so many things that happen in the book, I’m not even sure where to start with my thoughts and feelings.
I found myself getting very frustrated with Serena and thinking she needed to be throttled. I couldn’t believe she pulled what she did without out thinking it through. It could have ended up so much worse then it did.
Giovanni is understandably a over cautious control freak. He is the future of the Larussio family and that reason alone puts a huge target on himself and the people he cares about, but there is no way he could have seen all of that coming his way.
I loved getting to see Katerina and Chase even though it was a fairly brief appearance. They still are my favorite of the couples, though Giovanni and Serena have a chance depending on what happens in the next book.

Are you looking for a hot and steamy, romantic suspense thrill ride full of alpha male mafia men, sexy as sin bodyguards, and tons of action? Via Mari delivers all of this and more in Rise, book 2 in the Larussio Legacy series. I highly recommend you read the first book in this series before starting this one. Honestly, just go ahead and start with the Prestian series, continue to the Torzial Affair series, and throw in the Billionaire Bodyguards while you’re at it. They all tie in together in some way and give you a full complete picture of all the characters and their lives. Don’t get me wrong though. Each series is its own. It is just my recommendation that you read them all because they are all fantastic!
Every single one of her books has been outstanding and Rise does not disappoint! The action begins in chapter one and does not stop! There are twists and turns you will not see coming. And the sexy bits are oh…so…steamy! I’m an Italian. Where can I find myself A Gio? Rise will leave you wanting more and I am looking forward to the next book in the series!

This is the beginning of Serena and Giovanni s story. Serena Moretti as well as her family have suffered at the hands of the Larussio Family. She watches as her family is torn apart. Serena has grown up fearing them. Now she can’t seem to get past her feelings for Giovanni. Giovanni will soon become the Don of the powerful crime family in Italy. He is not only powerful, he is extremely good looking. He can have any woman he wants and dump her the very next morning. He will stop on nothing to kill those who get in his way. Everything is about to change for him as well as the girl that has captured his heart. How will this couple survive the death threats and constant attacks on both of them, and their families.
Via Mari has continued to keep your heart pounding throughout this romantic action novel. This book starts on page one, with you drawn into the book. There is no putting it down. Rise (The Larussio Legacy Book 2) by Via Mari is another great story in the series and offshoot from the original series. There is plenty to get you lost in the story, with a little mystery and suspense, action and danger and humour. There is a lot of hot and steamy and oh so sexy romance. Via’s writing style makes it easy to read and pulls at you. The characters Gio and Serena from the first book are an ideal pair and you continue to love them. Gio is an alpha and in line to be head of the Italian mafia and Serena must learn to live with trouble with a capital T. I love how all the characters intertwine. The twists and turns you don’t expect, and the suspense add that little bit more of excitement. I was so engrossed in the story that I found myself on the edge of my seat. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book!

The action starts off right away and pulls you into the story. Rise has suspense and danger throughout as well as steamy romance. The characters are strong and resourceful as they navigate the twists and turns of secrets and betrayal.

Rise is the second book in Via Mari’s Larussio Legacy series and I just realized that I have read every single one of her books and it is amazing how all her series intersect in one or other way – Prestian series, Torzial Affair, Billionaire Bodyguards … I find that I am so fortunate having read all of the series as it feels as if I am getting even more out of the experience … Rise gives us Serena Moretti, raised to believe that the Larussio family is the enemy, and Giovanni Larussio, the don of the most powerful crime family in Italy. The second book picks up where the first one ends and we have Gio fallen hard for Serena and her having those submissive desires coursing through her in his presence … Considering Gio’s position as the head of the crime family then it makes Serena (and her family, especially her Nonna) a target as Gio’s weakness … There is so much passion and chemistry between those two, there is so much past between the two families and at times it is really hard to see beyond all the action and fighting and betrayals and hope that those two will get their happy ending … It is another cracking book by Via Mari and I am looking forward to many more to come!

This book was great! This series is my favorite of hers so far and of course its a Mafia story so I couldn’t get enough! The amount of action in this books is off the charts and I felt like I was on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. The characters were fantastic. They really made this story, they felt real and raw and I loved every bit of steamyness and heat that they brought. I would highly recommend reading this series in order because both books are fantastic and you get the best reading experience reading them in order! I am very much looking forward to reading more by this author! And I would recommend to anyone that likes an awesome mafia story! Happy Reading.

Rise by Via Mari a five-star read that will rise above. This is number two in the Larussio Legacy and I would wholeheartedly read them in order as the sparks they just keep rising until they feel like they may just become as explosive as fireworks. This one is a must read, you must set everything aside and focus on reading as you will forget everything else exists as this is thrilling, and action packed, full of drama and just a powerful read. The chemistry is just palpable, and the pace of the novel is so well done, you don’t feel like its rushed or patchy it just flows and builds and creates a volcano of emotion.

Rise (The Larussio Legacy Book 2) by Via Mari. I simply can’t get enough of the stories this author creates and this is no different because once again I was completely hooked from page one and couldn’t put this book down until the very last page. I was on the edge of my seat more than once wondering what would happen next. The characters jump of the pages and bring the story to life for sure. I just found myself lost in the words and not wanting to be found. I recommend reading these books in order. There’s so much going on but you don’t get confused you just sit back and enjoy the ride this author takes you on with characters you won’t be forgetting any time soon. The chemistry between the characters just grabbed me and wouldn’t let go. It’s a well written story that’s paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Five huge stars and highly recommended! Can’t wait to see where the author takes us next!

Rise by Via Mari was a great sequel in the Larussio series! It was a very riveting read, just like the first novel in the series. Like the first novel, I couldn’t put this one down! Filled from the beginning with suspense, this is a steamy Italian mob story that won’t let you go! I highly recommend this novel, and I can’t wait to read the next installment!

Rise is the 2nd book in the Larussio Legacy series by Via Mari and follows straight on where book 1 left. These books need to be read as a series and not as a standalone. Over the last year I have become a huge fan of Via Mari’s writing and I was so excited to see what was in store next for Gio and Serena. Let’s just say that Via Mari has written another cracker. Rule is action packed and had me on the edge of my seat from the very beginning. You are not lead into the story slowly as it’s continued on from the previous book and the high paced action starts straight away in the very first pages. I already adored Gio and Serena from the first book but fell even more for this couple when reading this one. Hard-nosed mafia man Gio has such an amazing other side of his character. His adoration for Serena and his willingness to do anything for her and her beloved Nonna is totally heartwarming. I love the superfast pace of Via Mari’s book’s and this one flowed seamlessly from scene to scene with fantastic, very well written characters that you can’t help but fall for. This book has so much danger, intrigue, action, suspense and HOT romance that you will be glued to it from the very first page, right to the very last one. This series is a MUST read!

Via Mari is one of those authors that you will pick up any one of her books and just know it is going to be a good one. This story has all the great elements to keep you on the edge of your seat. There is drama, action, danger, spice, and of course romance and suspense. I highly recommend reading the first book Rise. It will give you the background information to enjoy this book even more. The characters are engaging and I could feel myself as if I was a fly one the wall. I highly recommend this series. It will get your heart pumping and you will not be able to put it down once you have started.

I love the Mafia books and how ruthless and competitive they are. This book is no exception. Its the story of Giovanni Larussio, the Don of the most powerful Crime family in Italy. He has now found himself in charge of the largest Casino in Las Vegas where he falls in love with Serena Moretti who is the family’s sworn enemy.
