Rise is the 2nd installment in the Larussio Legacy series. I am a huge advocate of reading a series in book order, so please go back and read book 1 before picking this one. Via Mari continues with the Larussio family and what a powerful family they are. The most powerful crime family in all of Italy, Don, Giovanni Larussio is obsessed with Serena Moretti, a strong, intelligent woman who was raised to believe that the Larussio family is the source of all that is evil. As time progresses on, Gio and Serena clash and circle around each other in ways that are both heated and passionate. When Serena and her family become targets of enemies of the Larussio family, Gio will stop at nothing to keep Serena safe, and I mean nothing. Via Marii is an incredibly talented writer. Rise is the second installment in The Larussio Legacy Series from Via Mari. I never question a novel when it comes to her and usually know I am going to get a pretty good punch for my reading time with her novels. I love how I always feel transported to the place the characters are in and as if I am right there experiencing the novel right along with the characters. This book is no different and really keeps you on your toes as you read. I loved the first book and was so happy to get back into the story of Gio an Serena, these two are sure to steal your heart and your attention. I know they sure had mine. I loved how this book didn’t skip a beat and picked right up where we left off in book one and progressed rather quickly into this book’s main story line. I can’t get enough of Gio and this man just completely stole whatever I had left of my heart in this book. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one and see where things will go for these two then. I am sure it will be one heck of a wild and exciting ride!

Rise (The Larussio Legacy Book 2) by Via Mari was excellent. I could not put this book down. It is an excellent addition to this series. Gio is don of the most powerful crime family in Italy but his attraction to the beautiful Serena could be the catalyst his enemies need to bring him down. Serena’s family has been affected by the brutal side of the Larussio family. Can she escape the danger it brings to her family and can the family move past her possible betrayal? Gio is her world.
There was never a dull moment in this book from steamy scenes to action explosions, I was hooked. It was easy for me to feel Serena’s emotions as I read. She was amazing and I loved her strength. The training she received later was awesome and made her more fierce. Such a great read. I highly recommend it. Easy 5-stars.

Rise (The Larussio Legacy, #2) by Via Mari was a great 5 star read.
Gio and Kate are moving forward with the casino in Vegas.. While heading home to see Serena, Gio is on the phone with her when he hears explosions and then screaming. Luckily his team gets there and gets Serena and her Nonna out safely. Gio has arranged for Serena and Nonna to be taken to his home on his jet when another explosion erupts and causes more chaos. Things get crazier from here and I was on the edge of my seat.
Are they after Gio or Serena? And why?
Overall I really enjoyed this book, I was pulled in right from the beginning. There is danger, action, betrayal, hot sex and so much more. I felt bad that Nonna lost her home with all her memories. Gio loves Serena and is determined to protect her. My emotions were all over the place. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series and get more from this couple. 1-click and get started today.

Wow does this author have a gift or what?! This book, well you’ll need to read the first book before this one as it answers questions from the first and I like to get the story in order. Rise is the second book in The Larussio Legacy series by Via Mari. This is a fantastic romantic suspense- with lots of drama, action, danger, secrets, passion, intrigue, spice, surprising developments- and a really superb cast of characters. I have read all of Via Mari’s books now and have really enjoyed them all. Having read Book One, I had some pretty high expectations for this story, and I am happy to say that Via Mari definitely didn’t let me down- this is just as good, if not better than the previous book, I was hooked right from the start, glued to the pages- entirely engrossed the whole way through. As with her other books, there is plenty of suspense woven through the storyline- the tension in parts is quite palpable and had me on the edge of my seat clamouring to know how it all played out. Can’t wait to get my hands on “Reign”- Book #3!

Rise is the second book in The Larussio Legacy series by Via Mari and Holy Cow did she knock it out of the park. I never hesitate to pick up a book by this Author . I devoured this book. I mean who doesn’t love a good mafia story with plenty of action, romance and a dose of suspense. I absolutely love Gio and Serena, I might have a book crush on Gio just saying. I mean he is sexy as sin and holy Cow ,these two will definitely make the temperature rise. There chemistry is off the charts but he’s part of the most powerful crime family in Italy . Then there’s her family who have suffered from the hands of the Larussio family . Can he keep Serena safe from his enemies? Can there love survive? Rise by Via Mari is the second book in the Larussio Legacy series. This is a series that I think should be read in order as it follows the same characters throughout. What can I say except this is another amazing book book from a brilliant author. This has spanned over a few different series and each book just gets better and better. Every time I start one of these books I am drawn in instantly. After reading book one I absolutely could not wait to get my hands on book two. It was exciting and had me hooked! I love these characters completely. They are so strong and really carry this whole book forward. This is another fantastic book and I cannot wait for the next one.

I have fallen so deeply for Gio and Serena. Their story so far is full of so many moving parts and it’s not over yet. I just don’t know how Serena is still holding it together because her adventures in these books have totally worn me out. It must be love LOL
The action and suspense is nonstop and I felt like I was right there during all of it. That’s just how this author writes, she reels you in and then doesn’t let go even after you have read the last word, especially knowing there is more to come.
I had some questions after the 1st book and the ones that mattered were answered for me in this one. I love how so many characters we have met as far back as the first series are still weaving in and out as well as meeting some new characters along the way.
This was a perfect addition to this series and you might want to have a fan handy while reading.
As usual I can not wait for the next and if you have not read any of these books yet, look them up and go all the way to the start of all of these stories..I promise you will not be sorry!

I loved reading the story Rise (The Larussio Legacy Book 2) by Via Mari. It is a book that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Giovanni Larussio and Serena Moretti. There is a passion and intense chemistry between them. He is part of the most powerful crime family in Italy. Her family has suffered at the hands of the Larussio family. They can’t stay away from each other. Will Giovanni be able to keep Serena safe from his enemies? Will her family ever forgive Giovanni for the past? Will their love survive? Read this book to find out. This is a story that has danger, suspense, and romance. There are twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. It is a book that kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. I love the character of Serena as she is a strong and intelligent woman. Giovanni loves Serena and would do anything to keep her safe and protected. The story does have some very steamy moments that make the temperature in the room rise. My emotions were going up and down the entire time I was reading this book. I highly recommend reading this exciting and entertaining story.

The characters truly grab readers and take them on their journey. I found myself completely lost in the story world the author created. It’s got suspense and romance that can make the room temperature rise, it’s everything I love in a book. It’s a well thought out story line that’s both written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Each character brings something unique to this incredible story. I’m excited to see where the author takes readers next. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

Rule by Via Mari is book one in the in the Larussio Legacy series. I previously read the Torizal Affair series by Via Mari and was thrilled to get my hands on this one. She is an excellent writer. Her stories have a way of drawing you in and holding you captive until the very last page. She paints the story so well. Her characters and their descriptions are so strong and you can’t help but love them. There is the perfect amount of romance, steam, and suspense in all of her novels and that includes this book as well. In this installment, there are so many powerful men and families. I like how this book goes through each person’s point of view so seamlessly. When I first saw that there were 4 different point of views I was a little skeptical of how it would work… but Via has done it again… it worked out perfectly. Chase and Katarina are just precious and I fell in love with them in the previous series. In addition to my 2 favorite characters we were introduced to Giovanni and Serena. His attraction to her is instant but her distaste for him, which stems from her family history, is discovered just as fast. I really enjoyed watching the two become acquaintances and more once they sorted out the misjudgments of their pasts. The end of the book is kind of a cliff hanger, so I am very eager to get my hands on the next one.

Via Mari does a wonderful job telling the story in Rule (The Larussio Legacy Book 1) through the eyes of 4 individual people. Though some of them are connected, like Katarina is married to Chase and is a cousin to Giovanni, and Giovanni is interested in Serena, I think the author did a magnificent job being able to blend each person’s story to make one cohesive story. Most stories I read have two characters that may go back and forth telling the story, but I have not read many 4 main character stories and I am amazed she was able to keep everything straight and flowing so well. I definitely will be looking into more books by this author.
This story has an interesting blend of a mob family, which can have its own mysteries and suspense intertwined into it, and romance. I was thoroughly intrigued to read the workings of a mob family and thought the author did a great job showing the differences between the American family and the Italian family. Katarina and Chase balanced themselves quite well. The submissive/dominant partnership they shared was romantic, as Chase wanted nothing to do but protect his wife in any aspect of their life, but then steamy at times as well. Then the “relationship” between Gio and Serena kept me wanting more, as every time Serena would turn down Gio, which was unheard of for him, it just fueled his want for her even more. But the mystery behind why Serena hates his family so much makes for an interesting conflict throughout the story.

Via Mari never ceases to amaze me with both her quality of writing and her development of characters. This book brings in characters from her previous books. While not a necessity, I would recommend reading Via Mari’s previous works to know more about the family and the dynamic behind it. Rule is a romantic/suspense novel that follows the characters of Katarina and Chase. The love these two have for each other is tangible. You can feel how hot they are for each other from the pages of the book, (or kindle). Katarina is caught with wanting to make her Italian father proud, while at the same time, honoring the wishes of her husband. She has to try to get her family to trust and agree that she knows what is best with the family business. Chase will do everything in his power to ensure Katarina’s protection, even risking the wrath of her mob family. The drama that ensures with both Katarina and Chase and then the families is fast paced, quick witted and passionate. You will need to read to find out what happens and you will not be disappointed.

The story Rule (The Larussio Legacy Book 1) by Via Mari is a must read! This is a suspense / romance book that follows the POV of 4 main characters. This book has everything you could ask for in a book, suspense, action, romance, heat, twists and turns that will have you lost in the pages until the last one. I fell in love with both of the Alpha men Gio and Chase but I think my favorite characters would be Serena and Katarina. Both these women are struggling in their own ways and yet they are both so strong! The storyline in this book was amazing and I can’t wait to see what comes next for these characters.

This was a brilliant story and I was pulled in straight from the start I just couldn’t pull my eyes away from the pages. I do love a story full of suspense and this story certainly didn’t disappoint. The storyline is so intriguing you can’t help but turn the pages so brilliant I can’t wait to read more.

I love Via Mari’s books! They will hook you from the very first page and I get so excited when she has a new release. Her books always keep me on the edge of my seat and wanting more! I loved reading about Katarina and Chase. Their love for one another was so beautiful to read. Katarina is trying to fulfill her father’s dream and Chase will do anything and everything to protect her. I’m so excited for this new series and I’m impatiently waiting for more!

Rule is the first of a new series, The Larussio Legacy, from Via Mari. If you are familiar with her work you will notice characters from her previous novels and series will pop up. Personally, I like to see old and familiar favorites again. I don’t think it would be too much of an issue to start with this series and know what is all happening however, so that is a bonus if you are new to Via Mari.
Rule will knock your socks off with the steam again much line Mari’s writing usually does, so be prepared for that and do not read if you are sensitive to such steam. I always have found that Via Mari manages to keep all the kink and sexy times tasteful which goes a long way to make it enhance the story rather than the whole story. I found this one to step up the suspense game and I loved how I found myself on the edge of my seat several times waiting to find out what would come next. I will definitely be back for more of this series and hope we don’t have to wait too long!

Rule, by Via Mari is a suck you in type of book. Via Mari has a way of writing that makes you want to keep reading the minute you start. The characters are so real and so easy to relate to. If you like a book with substance but also a book with some nice steamy pages, this is the book for you. Katarina, one of the main characters is on a mission to fulfill her fathers dream after he is injured in a mob hit. Chase will do whatever it takes to protect her in the process. The suspense, the mob story, and the love in this book make it a great read! Definitely a 5 star read.

Rule by Via Mari is the first book in The Larussio Legacy series and I couldn’t put it down. I don’t know if I’ve read a book with four different points of view, but it totally worked for this book and for me.
I think I fell in love with Chase a little more and now I’m crushing on Giovanni on top of it. He has me intrigued and I want to get to know him more, I think he will be very good for Serena.
Katarina has grown so much since the first book and I have loved reading it and almost found myself beaming like a proud Mama.
I hope I don’t have to wait too long for book two to come out, because I don’t want to wait to find out what happens next.

Rule is the first book in the Larussio Legacy series. While this book is the beginning of a new series, it does mention characters from related series. You don’t have to read the others to pick up on what is going on, but it would be helpful to so that you get a better foundation for the characters that are carrying over.
Rule is full of suspense, intrigue, danger, and of course, steamy romance. I don’t want to give away the story so I won’t say too much more, only that you need to read it to find out how the twists and turns play out! This book makes for a great break from reality for a bit.

Rule (The Larussio Legacy Book 1) by Via Mari was an excellent first book for this series. Having read several other books by this author, I am very excited to see where this one goes. I loved the storyline and felt it had great detail. I also loved the various characters and the different roles they played in the story’s romance theme. The storyline was easy to follow and fun. It moved easy from one scene to the next. I look forward to the next book.
