Rise is the second book in The Larussio Legacy series by Via Mari. This is a fantastic romantic suspense- with lots of drama, action, danger, secrets, passion, intrigue, spice, surprising developments- and a really superb cast of characters. I have read all of Via Mari’s books now and have really enjoyed them all. Having read Book One, I had some pretty high expectations for this story, and I am happy to say that Via Mari definitely didn’t let me down- this is just as good, if not better than the previous book, I was hooked right from the start, glued to the pages- entirely engrossed the whole way through.
As with her other books, there is plenty of suspense woven through the storyline- the tension in parts is quite palpable and had me on the edge of my seat clamouring to know how it all played out.
Can’t wait to get my hands on “Reign”- Book #3!
