This was such a fun cozy mystery. This is the first in the series, and I just couldn’t put it down. It is a great start to a series, and I can’t wait to read more. There were fantastic characters and so many mini stories within the main story. It was very easy to read and follow along because the characters and storyline were well written. I truly can’t wait to read what’s next in this series.

Delilah moved to Snowflake Valley for a fresh start. She buys a bakery that went out of business a few months ago after rumors of the previous owners supplementing their products with sawdust, and then of course there is the rumors of ghosts after the death of the girlfriend of one of their employees in their bakery. When Delilah first moves in, she sets to getting things ready and open, and thinks she’s lucked into the perfect situation, until weird things begin to happen in her bakery and at her new home. With twists and turns that will keep you guessing. This book is told from several different perspectives, and the links aren’t always clear until nearly the end of the book, but the reveal is worth the wait. If you enjoy mysteries, who-dun-it’s and surprises, this is a good book for you.

This was an enjoyable and engaging cozy mystery drama which had me hooked from page one. The small town feel of Snowflake Valley, the setting of this novel, was brought vividly to life by the descriptive narrative, along with the quirky and intriguing characters who live there. The McArdles own the best bakery in town, but then rumours start that to save money they have been cutting corners. A tragic accident at the bakery seals their fate and the bakery has to close. The quaint old bakeshop doors are not closed for long as Delilah Crumbworthy takes over the bakery. As soon as she starts work she’s swamped by customers, new friends and some menacing happenings. It’s not long until along with running her new business on Main Street, and trying to make friends, that she’s having to solve a mystery or two. This is an entertaining read, and I fell in love with the main character, Delilah and am pleased that this is the first book in a new series. The storyline kept me happily turning the pages and the mystery element definitely kept me guessing.

Delilah has recently moved to Snowflake Valley and she’s opening up a muffin shop. As she’s getting to know the community, she meets some very interesting people who become friends to her. Those friends are starting to share some of the recent happenings around Snowflake Valley, including a recent murder at the shop that she’s wanting to open.

Once Delilah gets opened up, she’s running from open to close. There isn’t much downtime at all and Delilah needs to hire some help. Once she starts that process, things start become more eerie. Can she keep this shop open and her sanity intact?

This was an enjoyable little mystery that I read in just a few short hours in one setting. There were a couple of times that I wanted to smack Delilah for the choices that she made but the ending made up for it all.

The Muffin Shop Murder is a cozy mystery with plenty of intrigue, mystery, suspense, drama, and more. Holly’s writing is highly descriptive and full of details that makes it easy for us as readers to picture and engage in the story. It is a short read but the story pace flows smoothly.
Holly Tierney brings us a refreshing new series that is as witty and charming as it is fun. The story takes place in a small town Snowflake Valley. It is an interesting little place where you find it has some quirky if not eccentric residents. It is that quirkiness Holly instils in her writing that makes her stories stand out. There is a cast of many and some have their stories. Some stand out more than others but each one is unique.
Delilah as come to a new town to make a go of a new business adventure. She finds odd things happening and is not sure what to make of it. However, unbeknownst to her she is about to become embroiled in to solving the mystery of a murder.
I really enjoyed the book and recommend you all put it on your TBR list.

This is an author that I have loved reading from the first book I picked up by her. One of the things I enjoy most about her is her writing skills and attention to details. They make her stories pop and come to life. This book is no different. This is a cozy mystery that was easy and entertaining to read. A fast paced story that is not only engaging but hard to put down. A story where the owner of a business not only makes new friends but finds time to solve mysteries. This is a really great sweet story that you don’t want to miss. This is a must read story and I highly recommend this book.
