This was the first Titan book that I have read. It was a pretty quick read and I enjoyed it. Jonas is a jerk and you can’t change my mind. He grew on me towards the end but he’s not my favorite. Kenzie is strong to overcome everything that has happened in her life. She found a healthy outlet for it by cooking. I was really hoping for more interactions with the rest of the friend group just to see how well they all got along.

Victoriously Yours is the 4th book in the Titans of Manhattan series by Anise Storm, this series is just fantastic, it doesn’t hide from the big issues and doesn’t pretend that everyone in a novel like this is perfect touching on issues such as mental health and childhood traumas. Kenzie is a flawed character, she has been hurt in the past and this has affected her view of relationships, when she goes to audition for the job of a lifetime, she doesn’t expect her potential employer to be the same boy that broke her years ago. Jonas is a successful businessman, a playboy about town, but no one realises the extent of his struggles. This was a really enjoyable read; the main characters are very likable and the story keeps you engaged. I am very much looking forward to book 5 in the series.

This is the second book I’ve read in this series. Initially I was annoyed with the main male character, he was a stereotypical arrogant ass. However, over the course of the book his character development was pretty impressive and by the end I actually liked him. Overall this story had more depth then many in this genre and I really enjoyed following the characters through their journey of self discovery. I look forward to reading the other books in this series.

This Author never disappoints, and this series only gets better. Jonas and Kenzie have become my favorite couple, and their story took me by absolute surprise. Together they have a painful and emotional history that bleeds as gainfully in their present as it did in their past. Kenzie was a girl who suffered from the heartbreak and betrayal by the teenage boy she gave her innocence to.. Feeling mentally defeated and lost she takes the only avenue she feels she has left causing a destructive domino effect.. Jonas and Kenzie were people who were disappointed and hurt by not just each other, but the people around them. As they are reunited at this present time in their life it becomes clear they never got over each other. Trying to understand what’s between them and if there can ever be more only brings up their difficult past and the secrets that are still between them.. As truth comes to light you feel the hurt, heartbreak, love, lust and insecurity that is between them and wonder if they can ever move on.

Jonas is powerful, a Titian of business and as all powerful men he works and plays hard. Seen as a playboy, one night speciality is this really the life for him. Mackenzie is striving to be the best chef she can be and needs to impress to get the job of a lifetime, working in one of the best kitchens in the hotel world would be the pinnacle of her career. So when she enters the room and sees a blast from her past, the old hurt and feelings come back but she is determined to play the game to win the prize, the only thing is she is playing with the master and will she get hurt again.
I must admit I was waiting for Jonas’s story since the beginning, you have this knee jerk dislike for this character as in each of the previous books he has always come across as arrogant and privileged, but this story really opens the character of Jonas and loved every minute of it. You know with this author that the story will always pact a punch and with a well-developed and written story this book does not disappoint.
I loved the character of Mackenzie, she was a strong woman, who in the past has had heartbreak and determined to not let this be her defining moment in life. The relationship between the two of them was heart-breaking with the truths come out. I love the way the author draws you into the story and you feel like you are living the book with the main characters. I can’t wait for the next book.

Yet another book in the series that will keep you turning the pages. Even though this is part of a series it can be read as a stand alone. I have come to enjoy all the books so far and I have to say this one I was whole heartedly able to relate to on a certain level. While Jonas has gone on and made millions more for the company his family started, his counter part of the book is trying to get her big break in the culinary world. MacKenzie is no longer that young and naive girl Jonas hurt with his actions back in high school. When their paths cross again it is unexpected for both of them, but the desire and longing is still there. Will they reignite the flame they once had? Getting over the past isn’t so easy, but will they be able to move past all the hurt and build a future? There is one major secret that MacKenzie hid from Jonas and she intends to keep it that way. If Jonas finds out the secret will he ever be able to forgive her?

Another fantastic story in this series. This one may actually be my top pick. I just felt a strong connection with the characters. All the stories have been amazing don’t get me wrong, this one just sank into my heart just a little bit more. From the very first page I knew I wouldn’t be able to put it down until I finished it and boy was I right. Glad I started it on my day off work because I couldn’t put it down. The characters are complex and relatable, they immediately had me so drawn in and I didn’t want to leave them. It’s well written and paced nicely. And you won’t forget these characters ever! Definitely adding it to my reading again list! Five huge stars and highly recommended!!!

The Titans of Manhattan are back! This time we are digging deeper into Jonas’s story and life in Victoriously Yours. Book 4 is not my favorite but I still love this series! The author introduces us to the world for cruelty amongst teenagers and how sometimes it can go too far. Kenzie and Jonas went to high school together and she thought they were everything. Until she found out she was just a “bet” that he fed her the sweet nothings she needed to hear to give over to him everything he wanted. Scarred by that experience making her who she is today, Kenzie is determined to win the opportunity to run her own restaurant. Unfortunately the man who destroyed her life 10 years ago will be her biggest obstacle in succeeding with the task. She implores him into a game of cat and mouse, which just amps up his desires for her. Jonas has lived with guilt the last 10 years he suppresses. Who would’ve thought that his guilt would be front and center vying for a job at his hotel. The author’s depiction of the tension between these 2 characters as they dance around each other comes across beautifully. I don’t necessarily agree with everything the characters did but “Hey” that’s part of the journey. I can only hope for more books about the Titans in the future.

This was definitely darker than the other ones in the series for me. Jonas and Kenzie have such a heartbreaking connection. The woven stories in this series are very complex at times. I did enjoy the set up for Kristopher. It is hard to not go deeper because I do not want to spoil it!

I think this book has to be my favourite in the series so far. There was just something about it that really made me connect to the story. I became lost in the characters, especially Kenzie, and the whole journey they went on. I loved the history that was between them and how they tried to navigate it all. The story was well developed. The author knew just what was needed at all times. I was hooked right from the start of this book and I couldn’t stop reading until I had finished it. This is a brilliant story that I would highly recommend.

Finally we have a book about Jonas. He is probably the most notorious of all the Titans. He’s a playboy through and through. He never goes back for seconds. He has been this way since high school. After becoming CEO of his grandfather’s company, life has been busy. Opening his new hotel, Jonas decides to hold auditions for the chef of his restaurant. Never in his wildest dreams did he expect one of the contestants to be the woman who changed the course of his life.
Mackenzie Broderick fell for Jonas in high school and her life has never been the same. Ten years later and she is still suffering. Having her own restaurant would definitely change things for the better. If she knew Jonas was the owner though, she never would have applied. Fate threw them together again. Will they reconcile their differences or will they repeat their past mistakes?
This is another amazing book in this series. I can’t even pick a favourite because they are all so good. I was happy to see that there was more depth to Jonas than what we saw in the other books. Now that I’ve learned more about him, I definitely like him better. My heart went out to Mackenzie. She suffered tremendously. The author did a fantastic job of describing her attacks. I don’t suffer from what she does but I could fully feel what she went through. The chemistry between Jonas and Mackenzie was off the charts. I looked forward to reading scenes where they interacted. I highly recommend this book.

I have read the rest of the books in the Parker Lake set and just like the rest, this book did not disappoint. The author does a great job of continuing the stories of each of the characters meanwhile focusing on the main couple. Karen is quiet and keeps to herself high school math teacher. Karen has one close friend and that is Breckin, on the occasion Karen will venture out to hang out with Breckins group of girlfriends. She needs to stay under the radar because no one knows her story. That is the case until Brody Cooper decides to come back home for a visit. Brody has not been home in a few years because he’s been so busy at work. Broody was not sure how long his boss would extend his visit. Only in town a few days when Broody heads over to Swansons to pick up groceries and he runs into Karen. It was not a good first impression on Broody’s part. Not realizing Brooy was Breckin’s brother Karen rambles to Breckin about the horrible interaction. I really love this series of books. To watch Karen from book one and then finally get to learn her story is great. It was definitely a treat to watch Broody and Karen’s relationship blossom.

Jonas and Kenzie knew eachother in high school. Kenzie lived a sheltered life being the daughter of a preacher and she was the perfect target for boys and their bets. When Jonas and Kenzie started hanging out and were getting close, Kenzie thought he really liked her until the truth was out. Kenzie was more then embarrassed. Her life took a turn at that point and the next 10 years or so didnt go exactly as she had hoped. Now Kenzie is about to go stay at the newest CHG location for a week of competitions and meet n greets with 20 other candidates to see who will get the contract. Kenzie has no idea what CHG stands for or who the CEO is until she gets there and spots the redhead across the room. She can’t handle seeing Jonas Courtland again and wants nothing to do with him. It seems to be a game of cat and mouse with those two. Who will come out on top and what happens when the secrets are exposed. This book had me Feeling So Many different emotions throughout. There was definitely a whole lot of heat in this book. I have loved this series so far and cannot wait for the next book in the series.

This is the 4th book in the Titans of Manhatten series. This book is amazing just like the others in the series. These romance stories are so deep and in depth that you are always left wondering if the couple will or won’t get together. It keeps the story interesting and unpredictable. The characters are really well written and this book deals with issues such as mental health and abuse in an respectful way. In this story we follow Jonas and Mackenzie.
Jonas is a Titan. He runs a very successful hospitality owner. Ever though is life looks perfect he has a past he isnt proud of. One thing in particular is a girl who’s heart he broke and who to this day he can’t forget. Now he is opening his new hotel he needs a chief. Imagine his shock when one of the people who are applying for the job is the 1 person he thought he would never see again.
Mackenzie has had a lot to deal with since her last run in with Jonas. After she left the school she was sent somewhere to deal with her mental health issues. Fast forward and the man who holds her dream job in his hands is the same man that broke her heart and destroyed her. Will this encounter make the resolve their issues from the past? Will the stress of seeing Jonas again send Mackenzie spiralling down again? Or will they work together this time and both get the dreams then didn’t even realise they wanted?
Another amazing story with another amazing couple.

Once again, this author has truly captivated me with the wonderful series and the book installment full of characters I can’t hep, but love! This one I think is my newest favorite! I felt so much when reading this book and certainly could not get enough! Loved this one and this author for all that they do!
This one really spoke to me for personal reasons. We followed Jonas in this book. And his story. I got a story that I was not expecting. I felt so much for Jonas as I learned about him. As I found such strong relations for him! I really wanted to hug him! Some parts were hard to read, but that’s what made the story what it was. All the emotions that go along with it. Mackenzie was a wonderful character too. She was very intelligent, and career driven but had that compassionate heart which I loved. I loved their story and how the road to what could be…. always is not smooth riding! Loved this one with all my heart!
As I said, this one was a wonderful read, and really brought on such emotions, and I have no regret over that whatsoever. I really enjoyed it and do highly recommend this book/author/series!

As always, Anise Storm has done it again! I always say she can’t outdo herself, but she always proves me wrong!
Let me begin by saying, I was NOT A FAN of Jonas Courtland at the BEGINNING of the book. Saying I disliked him is a very mild understatement. He took a dare not even thinking or caring how it would affect the girl, Mackenzie, who had fallen in love with him in high school. He completely broke her. I wanted to throw him off the roof myself.
Fast forward a decade later…Jonas is a hotel developer and still a playboy, but now he lets women know up front that they shouldn’t expect anything from him. He has no desire to settle down. Mackenzie has worked hard to get herself in a healthy place, and now she has an opportunity of a lifetime, scoring a job as a chef in one of Jonas’s hotels. She just doesn’t know it’s one of his, but when they both see each other again, the fireworks begin!!!
Mackenzie is determined to win the coveted position and maybe even give Jonas a little bit of payback, but in love and war, things never go as planned. Just as these two find redemption, a secret is revealed that will not only derail Mackenzie’s dreams of becoming a famous chef, but she and Jonas may lose what they worked so hard to rebuild.
As I read more of the book, my feelings for Jonas began to thaw, much like Mackenzie’s did. For me, that is the mark of a talented writer, when he or she can make their readers feel what their characters do. My heart broke for Mackenzie, and Storm addressed the issue of mental illness with such love and sensitivity. Looking forward to the next installment in this emotional series!

I enjoyed reading this romance story. This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up. This is the fourth book in this series which I highly suggest reading the previous books in this series to help your enhancement of this author’s writing skills. I enjoyed being pulled into the story from the beginning. I found the characters to be relatable and had no problems putting myself in their story. They brought life to the story and made it easy to read. They have great growth and I enjoyed their chemistry. This is a fast paced, engaging story that is hard to put down. This is a story of playing games and having a winner and a loser. Who will be the winner is for you to find out by reading this book. You wont regret picking this book up for sure. I really enjoyed reading this book and I highly recommend it.

Wow Jonas and Kenzie came to us in a very powerful story that absolutely knocked me off my feet! I knew from the previous books that Jonas was a huge player and at the start of this book I have to be honest and say I really didn’t like him. True to this amazing author and her creative style though, she changed my mind completely with a totally captivating and deeply meaningful storyline. I have read the previous books in this series so I started this book hoping it would be just as good as the others but it far exceeded my hopes. My heart was engaged in these characters and went along with them every single step of the way. I have got to say that at times it was absolutely heart wrenching. To go into to much detail of the actual storyline I believe would give far too much away. The best thing I can do for you is tell you to RUN not walk but run and grab a copy right now!! Get reading!! This is one book you do not want to miss!

I have been on pins and needles WAITING for this book to come out and I have got to say that I was not disappointed! This book revolves around Jonas, who is the epitome of a playboy who is not willing to give up that lifestyle for anyone, that is until he sees Mackenzie. Seeing Mackenzie has stirred up emotions in him! Mackenzie is there to win a competition that would change her life for the better and is faced with the guy who has scorned her many years ago. With this couple, they are both hot headed and stubborn and reading their story was a true delight! This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. This is the third book in the Titans of Manhattan Series. Seductively Yours is a great read and will keep you entertained.

Wow the author has done it again! I have been entranced in this series and was sad when I finished this book as it means that I finished a wonderful story! In this book, the story is focused on Mason and Rhyann. Mason is another successful man who owns a nightclub who is used to getting what he wants. Rhyann is a girl who has had a hard life who needs money and fast. Who would have thought that a one-night stand would change everything? This is the start of their story, and it is steamy, wonderful and a great read! I highly recommend reading this book if you love great romance stories!!

This second book in the series was just a good as the first story! Anton is a super famous actor who has everything he wants except for someone to share this with. When he meets Elsa when she is showing him a property everything chances in that instance. They are two wonderful characters that go through so much heartache and hard times. Every chapter, every word had me on pins and needles wondering how one was going to react to the other for things happening. If you love a great romance story where the characters overcome or have to go through many hard times on their way to happiness, then this book is for you!

This book was a fantastic read and one of my new favorites that I have read in a long time. The male character, Caspian, is a strong character who works hard for what he wants. When his uncle is dying and tells him that you either do what I want, or you lose your place in the company this changes the course of the story. While Caspian is reeling with this revelation, he runs into an old acquaintance in the hospital, literally. Paisley is at the hospital trying to come up with a way to have money that will allow her to pay for her mother’s care as she is in a constant coma since the incident. This pivotal moment between characters changes everything and starts their amazing story. If you love a good romance story that has you on the edge of your seat needing to know what is to happen with a steamy romance story unfolding, then this book is for you! I cannot wait to read more books by this author!!

This book makes you feel things all throughout the book. I have never had a book grab me emotionally from the start like this book did. It is a continuation of the Titan Series but that being said you do not necessarily have to read the first book to understand what is happening in this book. This book does deal with some very heavy issues. If you have a trigger for addition, then this book is not for you. The way the characters face the horrible fates of addition in this book make it worth the read. It deals with real life situations and tugs at your heart strings. It deals with things that a lot of couples have gone through and the ability to cope with loss. I gave this book 5 stars because it deals with real events that people do go through so there is a humanizing relationship with this book. The reader can actually picture themselves in this situation. The coping mechanisms may not be how everyone handles things but it is raw and honest on how some might cope with everything in this book. I highly recommend reading this book and having a box a tissues next to you because it will tear your heart up but deliver it back to you with a bow at the end.

This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. Another amazing book by this amazing author. Conveniently Yours is a great read.
Caspian is a playboy and he isn’t afraid to show it. When he is told by his uncle that he is to find a girl and stay married for a year that changes things. Then he meets Paisley and they both may get what they want. The quote I chose for Caspian is: “I’m not in the market for anything more than sex. I don’t like attachments, even brief ones, so this is for the best.”
Paisley is freaking out when she gets a call saying her mom has been moved. She isn’t doing well with money and is about to be kicked out of her place. She needs money and Caspian is more than willing. The quote I chose for Paisley is: “I’m not sure I understand. Has her condition gotten worse?”
Highly recommended for Contemporary Romance lovers.

This book has all the feels. It has the steam, business to lovers, childhood friends reunited, nosey family, and most of all it has character development. This book starts out steamy and it continues throughout the book. If you aren’t one for really hot scenes then this book is not for you. If you love some steam in your books, then welcome friend!!! This book is for you. The main characters were childhood friends and lost touch until literally running into each other at the hospital. They each have their reasons for joining into a contractual marriage but it isn’t long before they realize they are meant for each other. However, there are some huge obstacles for them to overcome in order to have a happily ever after. “Can they do it?,” is the question that makes you keep turning the pages and not stop reading until you have finished the book. There is just the right amount of turmoil with character growth, that you will want to keep reading even when the book ends. I can’t wait for the second book in this series.
